With betrayal staring her down and duty pulling her in, Charity’s list of scores to settle is longer than ever.
Retribution ends in death - but not by her hands.
A change of direction - and her mark - explosively backfires. Trust is one of the few luxuries she can’t afford now, and the supposedly innocent may be hiding enough secrets to take down a family.
If she wants to make it out alive, and with her men at her side, one thing is abundantly clear. The Moreno family’s deadliest enforcer is going to need to watch her back.
Born on the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, Ann-Marie grew up learning from strong, confident influences which translates in her writing today.
She acquired the love of writing when she was just 12 years old and at 19; she wrote her first novel, which remains under lock and missing key.
When she’s not writing international bestselling books, she’s traveling around the USA with her 3 children and a camper, tending to her garden and chickens, or fixing something on her mini-ranch. All with the wonderful support of her amazing husband.
Charity’s Redemption is the fourth and final book in The Moreno Mafia series, and I was not ready; I didn't want to jump off the Crazy Train named Charity. Of course, she did it in true Charity tradition, with a big messy bang. She always makes me laugh with her banter.
Our girl Charity is still a crazy little psychopath with so much love to give to those who love her and don’t judge; Now we add her hot Italian mafia men, Luca, Nico, and Max. You have a masterpiece.
What I didn’t expect was so many emotions with this one as Luca’s character development. I saw him in a whole new light. Don’t worry, he is still the ruthless leader, ever Italian mafia needs. We see more of the Moreno vs the lawyer in Nico and Max has something that's going on, and I just wanted to hug him.
If you follow me, you know how picky I am with Italian mafia books, and the authors meet my exception time and time again. It’s well-written, action-packed, and she doesn’t shy away from the details.
I have been dying to read the epic finale of the Moreno Mafia series and holy Hell - I wish I could erase my reading this series just to be able experience it all over again. I love everything about this! The way Ann didn’t hold back the characters along with adding even more development and tenderness. She pulled more emotions out of me, than I prepared for, with the way Charity grew and handled things. I can’t ignore how she threw a few surprises and twists I didn’t see coming and I ate them up like my hidden chocolate stash I forgot about in my pantry. I loved seeing how each of the guys showed a little vulnerability while staying the men that they are. Their love for Charity shined so bright in this one and I enjoyed the banter between all of them. The action was amazing and the steam had me shedding my hoodie and stepping outside to cool down. I will even admit to ignoring emails and texts because I was to enveloped in this book. Ann definitely nailed this ending to this fantastic series. I wouldn’t want her to change a thing at all - the characters and plot are perfect. I am sad to see this series come to an end but I am extremely excited to see what Ann comes up with next.
After reading the first three books in the Moreno Mafia series, I could not wait for the fourth and final instalment to be released. Charity’s Redemption continues straight on from the book 3 ending, so they do really need to be read in order.
The author's writing style is extremely easy to read, but also captivates me and I cannot stop reading her stories. It is obvious how much work has been put into the character of not only Charity, but the Moreno men also. There is clear character development throughout the series and I just can't decide which of them is my favourite; they are all fascinating. Charity is a very strong female lead, stands her ground, knows what she wants; yet she still has an element of vulnerability which I have come to love.
The chapters are written from the POV of Charity and her three lovers; the writing style changes with each to show the shift in perspective which is an amazing talent the author possesses. There is plenty of action, blood-shed, suspense... and also a LOT of the hot and steamy scenes that Ann-Marie writes so well.
One of my favourite series that I've read this year. Would recommend!
“If you ever touched another man other than us in that way, I’d tear him limb from limb and bury him under your house for you to remember me by.” - Luca
Those Moreno men are something else. Every book they just blow me away.
"I’d spent six years envious of any man who had the privilege of dating her. Now that she was mine… ours… there was no way I’d ever let another man make me feel that way again." - Nico *chef's kiss*
Firstly, I'm really not a reverse harem reader. I prefer jealous and possessive heroes that would rather cut off their own arm than share their woman. This is the second RH series I've ever read and the first one that I actually liked. So if you're not a normal RH reader, take a chance on this one.
The guys still portray some possessiveness and jealousy in this book but they just seem to preclude each other. Also, the author created the perfect characters for this. I can see and understand their relationship, most of them are legit psychopaths and their brains aren't wired the same as the average person’s. Charity has literal brain damage.
I started this book, got about 10 pages in and decided I need to go back and re-read Charity's Vengeance. Did I read them both within 24 hours? Yes.
I regret nothing.
I'm so glad that I re-read it. I forgot how much I wanted to stab those Moreno men at the end. They made me want to be Charity. Plus, reading that really got me to appreciate Luca's character development.
Besides it really wrapping up all those dangling storylines, it was spicy as hell! Whenever you read an Ann-Marie Davis books you know you're gonna be fanning yourself with the kindle. Just let me be Charity for one day, PLEASE! I also liked how it wasn't just the same old spicy scenes from previous books, you can see how their sexual relationship evolve as well as the emotional ones.
The problems that I had with the book/story where only because of my unfamiliarity of the genre and my little heart wanting my more traditional endings. So you'll probably love it if you are a RH reader.
I highly recommend this whole series, you won't regret it.
This series has ended up being one of my absolute favorites. Charity Gibbons is everything that you want in a feisty heroine. I mean, she's the enforcer.... seriously! BUT, though she be bloodthirsty, she's also human and you can watch her battle herself throughout this series- giving into her needs, but also guarding her heart.
I loved watching the character development throughout these four books. Although Luca remains the same ruthless leader, his dynamic toward Charity has changed over time. You really begin to see him in a whole new light too. And as for Max and Nico... they're still hot and sexy... and they love our girl too.
I was NOT disappointed at all in this series. There have been so many twists and turns, and this final book in the series is no exception. Please be sure to read these in order... trust me. I don't want to give away spoilers, so please take my advice, and let yourself fall in love with these characters. HIGHLY recommend!
This is another amazing book from Ann-Marie and this the fourth and final book in the Moreno Mafia series. It's goodbye to Charity and her men.
Charity continues to be the badass that we've grown to love in the previous books, the bloodshed never stops when it comes to her - and I'm always here for it. Then we have the Moreno men who continue to give us those extremely hot moments we live for from Ann-Marie. I'd also like to say thank you to Ann-Marie for naming a character after me and killing them off in this book. It brought me great joy and I loved it so much!
These books are amazing for anyone who loves dark, RH mafia novels. Step into the world of Charity and I promise, you won't regret it! I'm just sad this is the end for them!
Well, that took two days off my life. I don't know where to begin, to explain my heartache. That was heart wrenching and has left me far too raw. This whole series was a surprise to me. It was chaos, explicit, spicy, aggressive and carnage. I'm actually in pain knowing it's over. Knowing I don't get more nor get to read this again for the first time. Let me stare at a wall, potentially cry, stand in a shower for a few hours and maybe I'll come back with a better review but I doubt it. I need a palette cleanser - a fluffy fun romance. Something to remove this hurt for a while at least. This book physically hurt. It really did. All of them did, but this one especially. Her redemption, the ending... Damn.
Review in 10-ish words: A fantastic ending to an enjoyable series.
Synopsis: This is the fourth book in the Moreno Mafia series and they ABSOLUTELY have to be read in order.
Book four sees Charity reeling from the consequences of actions in book 3, including the death of her brother and trying to survive in the process.
My thoughts: Like the other three books, I found this one really hard to put down. It's a great story to escape into and the characters shine in this one.
I think my favourite character was Nico. I really liked how he was developed for this final book.
Very high intensity, high emotions and high thrills. Would recommend for mafia romance readers.
Thank you to the author for providing a complementary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. The opinions in this review are entirely my own.
Charity’s Redemption is a strong finish to an intelligently written, action-packed mafia RH romance filled with developed, multi-dimensional characters.
Charity is such a unique character. Aside from being a rare female enforcer in the Italian mafia, Charity is as quirky as she is bloodthirsty. She makes questionable decisions and sometimes I just want to shake her silly, but overall Charity is a lovable badass.
Like Charity, I’m in love with all three men and enjoyed how each relationship has its own dynamic. Luca and Charity have come a long way and this book really showcased Luca’s growth. Luca still pushes Charity but in a good way, Nico is her rock and Max is her protector, even when she doesn’t believe she needs one.
The plot moves quickly with plenty of action and suspenseful moments. But our girl always comes out on top! And of course Charity and her guys take every opportunity to prove their love to one another, resulting in plenty of steamy moments.
I really loved this series and the final book gave these characters the send-off they deserve. Charity and her guys get their happy ending and although it may not be perfect, it’s perfect for them. I would highly recommend this series for any mafia romance reader.
Charity's Redemption was bitter sweet, in a good way. Reading this final book in the Moreno Mafia was saying goodbye to old friends that I've grown to love. This book did not disappoint and was the best in the series. Charity stayed true to her character and was a kick a$$ h with her quirky banter and her crazy rolled into one. I love her thirst for blood and the author portrayed this mafia family beautifully.
The character growth in the Moreno men was outstanding! You'll see Luca smooth out some of those rough edges and show a gentler side, Nico shows his Moreno side and really shined and Max slows down and shows his vulnerable side. The heat is off the charts between Charity and her men in true Ann-Marie Davis style.
All of the loose ends are tied up in the Moreno conclusion and they get their HEA. This series goes down as my favorite Mafia RH!
Okay Luca was coming in hot in this book!! He gave me all the feels and pulled out all the emotions. Nico and Max gawd you cant help but love everything about them. Charity this girl seriously is have my heart she is one of my all time favorite FMC she has mouth that gets her into trouble and she is 100% unapologetic about it, she is feisty and she gives as good as she gets when it comes to her guys. I would have to say though Luca is my true hero in this book is growth was amazing every bit that ruthless alpha a-hole but you see him in a brand new light that has you melting. If you haven’t started this series if is absolutely a must read and if you have started it strap in one more wild AF ride because this author went out with a bang to say the least. I love Charity and her guys so freaking much!!!
Charity's job this time is next to impossible, and working for the enemy who wants her to fail is just making it that much worse. Getting out alive is her endgame. Thank goodness she still has her three men standing behind her. They make it all worth it. Ann-Marie Davis writes Mafia romances like nobody's business. This series has been so fantastic, and this last book does not disappoint. Charity is a handful, and it takes all three Morenos to handle her. I've never read a heroine like her, and I probably won't again. If I could rate this book with six stars, I absolutely would. It really does not stand alone, but reading the series in order is well worth it.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I am not happy that Charity's journey has come to an end, but I think that this was the perfect conclusion. This book felt like one long epilogue for the first 3 books, I don't mean that negatively. It wrapped up all of the loose ends nicely and finalized where Charity was headed in life and with the guys. There was some action but it was mostly Charity recovering- from injuries, the loss of her brother, realizing she didn't have to forgive her mother, mending her relationship with her father. I loved how much we saw Charity and Luca together in this book, I feel it made up for the time Luca was being a fool early on in the series.
In the fourth and final book in the Moreno Mafia series, Charity is back, and shows us, as always, just how fierce she can be. And also, as usual, her banter back and forth with Luca, Max, and Nico, and all of her mixed up sayings, had me laughing throughout the book.
This series has been action-packed, from beginning to end! Honestly, never a dull moment, which made it really hard to put down!
This final book is bittersweet. I'm going to miss this crazy girl, but I'm so happy she got her HEA. This whole series is definitely recommended with more than five stars!
Charity's Redemption is a perfect wrap on the Moreno Mafia stories. I am so happy I jumped on this mafia ride! This book shows Charity doing what she does best, enforcing what the Moreno family wants to be completed.
Charity has been strong throughout this series. To see it wrap up with her kicking a--, enjoying the delicious men in her life, and having some form of closure with her family, makes this the perfect finale.
Grab the first book and dive in, you won't regret it! I am looking forward to more from Ann-Marie Davis and can't wait to pick up her next book! @theoriginalmrsp
I can't believe Charity's story is coming to an end!! I feel like these characters are family at this point and seeing their story conclude is bittersweet. Everything we need to know gets tidied up in book 4, all the plot points left open, emotions that need addressing and the 4 of our main characters finally unite and get on the same page together. I still hate Charity's Mom, I don't think I'll ever not hate her. But we see resolution in all other aspects of Charity's life and it's very rewarding.
Ok, so I was in a book slump (pretty much hating every book I read) when this lovely delight landed in my inbox (and my heart). I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it a few time in the past, but this author and this series is up there with my top five.
Is this book everything I needed and wanted? Heck yes. It is a perfect ending to an incredible series. Now, excuse me while I start reading it again from the very beginning.
This is the 4th and final book in this series and for best enjoyment I do recommend reading them in order. Charity is a mafia enforcer and she has plenty of scores to settle but she also isn’t sure who she can trust either. Will Nico, Max, Luca and Charity find a safe place where their relationship can continue to grow? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense, sizzling chemistry and emotion. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!
OMG!!! Where to start... Just like the other 3 books in this series, Charity's Redemption did not let me down... What a ride this has been. If you haven't had a chance to read this series - do yourself a favour and get on that!!! Thank you Ann-Maire for this series and letting us be apart with reading it.
I was not ready to say goodbye. But Ann-Marie Davis did not let is found for a final book. This book was an amazing ending to a wonderful series. Charity and her men from page one all the way to then are on a go. This book is about fixing loose ends, second chances and much more. I can't wait to see what Ann-Marie brings us next.
So sad this series is coming to a close but I couldn’t be more happy with where the characters ended up. Have loved these books from the beginning. I love Ann-Marie’s writing! The first POV is so personal that you really get into charity’s head. Loved this ending.
Unbelievable, I am still waiting for my emotions to settle down. Charity is a goddess, yes maybe the goddess of death but look at her gods, Luca, Max, and Nico. Amazing from start to finish, I feel like Oliver Twist when I say more please. I voluntarily reviewed this book.
The app ate my review! So here we go again. Charity is one crazy character. She's definitely been through the ringer and then some. The series is very dark mafia with lots and lots of bloodshed. Lots of twists and even a happy ending. I can say I enjoyed it.
The story is dark, intense, steamy, romantic with twists. It is a dark, reverse harem, mafia romance novel that continues from where it ended in the third book. The female protagonist is crazy but lovable. The readers are recommended to read the previous books before reading this book as the story is connected. The eccentric characters and action packed plot line will keep the readers entertained. It is a highly recommended book for readers who like this genre.
Personal Take: Even though, Charity is one of the craziest characters that I have read, I really liked her. I really liked Luca's (one of the male protagonist) in this book as well. It was a perfect end to the series.
This was a beautiful end to this series. As always Charity kept me laughing. Filled to the brim with laughter, love, and some murder of course! A perfect read. I will miss the characters.
I absolutely loved this book. It was such a perfect ending to Charity’s story with Luca, Nico and Max. I loved seeing a different side to Luca and I loved how they all grew together and overcame the objects in their way.
I’m sad that this series is over but I couldn’t have asked for a better ending.
Absolutely fabulous, Love the characters, Dark mafia, Love the reverse harem that Charity has with her men, Nico, Max and Luca "Always and forever." So excited to see what Ann-Marie Davis will give us next!
Dark RH Mafia... what more could you ask for?! I absolutely loved this series and I have to say, I'm sorry this is the end for Charity and her men, but this last installment of the series does them all justice. A fantastic read.
