I have been following Carter Family for a long time now. I've read the entire Carter Brother series and now I am up to date on Next Generation Carter Brother Series. Charlotte is the sixth book in the series. So, a total of 12 books containing the Carter brothers, their wives and their children. My favorite character is Max! 😍

I wouldn't say much about the story. Only thing I would love to say that I loved reading this book. I laughed out loud on numerous occasions. That's Lisa Helen Gray for you in the Carter Family. A funny read with right amount of drama. Though I have met Charlotte in the other books, in her book we can get to see her side of things.
Yeah, the writing still needs a bit of work. But, the story line was perfect. The characters, awesome. I read that the new and revised versions of some of the books are coming out. I would read them again to see if her writing style have been improvised or not. However, in meantime, I can't wait to read the stories of the other siblings.

If you're a long time Carter fan, this is the one we have been waiting for.
Lisa never ceases to amaze me. The writing. The stories. The creativity. The emotions. The Carter's. She has a way of sucking you in from the very first page and has you hooked.
The emotional rollercoaster this book took me on was incredible. It held me at the edge of my seat, heart in my throat. I cried... a lot (and this was by chapter 3!), I smiled, I laughed and I loved!
I have been obsessed with the Carter's from the beginning and as always, as soon as Lisa releases a book, I'm straight onto the Kindle store and buying it. I don't need to read the blurb to know that I'll love it and that it'll be another book that finds a way to lodge itself in my heart permanently. The Carter's have done that, each and everyone of them.
Charlotte was everything expected and so so so much more.
If I could give more than 5 stars, no question about it, it would be given. I highly recommend this book and the whole series! They are a beautiful must read.

<3 New Release <3 Review: ★ ★ ★ ★★ @author_lisa_helen_gray never ceases to amaze me. She has a way of writing books that suck you in a immediately and they’re so full of special funny moments that you laughed the whole way through the book. I will never be able to look at a wax strip ever again without thinking about her books.I very first started reading her series with Malik and I knew that she was going to be someone that is special someone that I was going to follow forever. I have read every single one of her books multiple times And each time feels like the first time. I was especially excited for Charlotte’s book because she such a special character and reading her you know what a bright loving character she is. This book was so close to my heart and the way that she wrote it and was very careful about how she wrote certain scenes was beautiful. The love between Charlotte and Drew was just so special. Their story might be one of my favorites I have ever read. The characters that she’s managed to create her out of this world and make you laugh hysterically to the point of crying. Thank you so much for bringing this character to life I can’t wait for the next Carter book to come out.

So good, a must read
I was hooked from the beginning first I cried then I laughed a lot, then I couldn't stop smiling I knew I would love this book, but lisa you out did yourself all your hard word has paid off.
I love charlotte, I'm glad we got introduced to some new characters and hope to hear more from them in the future. I was hoping it was drew that was her love an you didn't disappoint, thank you for writing this great series an to all you book lovers out the this series it amusing read you will love the characters, form alpha males to funny males an female to sweet kind hearted women there's something for everyone.
I loved how Charlotte and drew fell for each other even the the beginning of Charlotte's story broke my heart, the way drew helped bring herself back from the dark made it all the more lovely to read

Worth the wait! 5+++++
I've read every book in this series and have been not so patiently waiting for Charlottes book. The wait was so worth it. We saw in the past books how beautiful Charlottes soul is and how innocent and naive she is only seeing the good in the world and being sheltered and protected by her family. I loved how Lisa Helen Gray portrayed in this book how strong and brave Charlotte actually is.
Drew is amazing and the perfect other half to Charlotte. The way he never let's anyone get in his way when it comes to Cbarlotte. They came together perfectly, no unnecessary drama between the two of them and no mistrust even with another woman trying to stir things up.
So many laugh out loud moments and awesome suspense. This book had it all and I'm so sad I've reached the end. Would have been cool to get a bit more of an epilogue but I know there's more books to come so I'm sure we'll see more about Charlotte and Drew

Unique story for unique girl
I think everyone who reads this series has a soft spot for Charlotte. She is the friend you want to have and protect from the world. I think that’s why her H is perfect for her. He lets her be herself and protects her when necessary but also lets her protect herself. Charlottes story was heartbreaking but also inspiring. She needed to find that she was a survivor. Her antics will have you laughing out loud. Drew is the definition of book boyfriend. *swoon i also can’t leave this review without mentioning Max. For once we have a guy he can’t intimidate and my god it was too funny! I loved everything about this book and can’t wait to see who is next!

Lisa has written a wonderful novel on female empowerment. yes a lot of us women like to believe in fairy tails and happily ever afters but the cruel world tells us that its not possible. Charlotte tells us we can have it all! In the face of trauma and adversity, we can have everything we ever wanted. Fairy tails may not come in the form of pink glitter bombs but they do exist and we can our own fairy tale if we just learn how to tell the world to fuck off and fight back for what we want! Charlotte is a badass powerful woman and that just makes us love her crazy all the more! She's Cute but Physco!

Charlotte has always wanted one thing, a happily ever after and when she meets someone she knows she is settling but as he gets aggressively worse and she finds out the truth about him she is devastated. Meeting Drew is a surprise and she quickly finds herself making a friend she never expected. She is healing but something about him has Charlotte wondering if she deserves a second chance at love.
This was amazing, a definite tearjerker. I wanted Charlottes book for awhile as she seemed the most vulnerable in some of the other books that I was curious to see where her story would take her. I was not disappointed and I loved Drew, he is perfect for her. Love the antics of the other Carters. Terrific series.

Lisa Helen Gray always writes beautifully and Charlotte was no exception.

Like all the books I’ve read by Lisa, tears happened. I mean, I was crying during the first chapter.

Don’t worry though, while this book was heartbreaking in parts Lisa balanced it out with humour. OMG, did I ever laugh in this book. Majority of my laughter came from Charlotte, she just says the funniest things and she doesn’t even mean to and of course the rest of the Carter’s especially Max.

Charlotte was a beautiful character. She is quirky and hilarious without even trying and you cannot stop yourself from loving her. She is lovable, that is the perfect way to describe her. She just draws everyone in with a moth to a flame but instead of getting burned everyone’s life gets filled with this beautiful light.

Her irresistible personality is balanced out by Drew, who is goals. That man is pure perfection. He is the sweetest alpha male and he just gave me all the feels.

This book was filled with emotion, humour, suspense, and also mystery. It kept me on my toes and had me devouring the words like it was the last book I’ll ever read. I honestly cannot recommend Lisa Helen Gray enough.

Oh My Heart!!!
Charlotte is a character that I have been waiting not so patiently for her book. And now that I have devoured it, all I can say is every agonising minute I waited was soooooo worth it because her and Drew's story is EVERYTHING!!!
Throughout the series we have seen that Charlotte is a beautiful soul. She's quirky, sweet, innocent, a touch naive, and can struggle with socialising and understanding some concepts of emotions or acts. I loved that while we see all of this in her book we also see her humour, strength, and fight.
And......
Drew our Hero Oh My!!! this man is was not only perfect for Charlotte but he is book boyfriend gold!! He is sweet, understanding, oh so swoony, and fiercely protective. While he understood her families humorous crazy, worry, love, and fierce protectiveness over Charlotte there was no way he was letting them come between them.
The journey these two went through to reach their HEA took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. I laughed through the crazy hilarious moments, I cried, I held my breath with anticipation, I swooned hard over Drew, I got angry and frustrated over certain characters, and I finished feeling sad it was over but had a warmed heart and a smile on my face.
With some siblings still needing their HEA and a few new characters being introduced I can't wait to see what comes next in this world and for these characters.

Charlotte, she is so full of life it's just inspiring to read about her.
She is a kind hearted girl who cares about all even her enemies. She can't hurt even a fly purposely. The way she babbles, her baking, her caring, her anger, her love. I love every bit of her😍
As I can actually relate to Charlotte bcz like her I also live in the romance fiction world, and want my happily ever after ❤️ a person who never judge u for what u r, never want to change u accept u for what u are.
And Drew ❤️ is that person for Charlotte. She made that mistake once in the past and doesn't want to repeat them, have her fair share of doubts but Drew😍, he helped her in every way, never judged her, never want her to change herself, respected her, treated her like the way she deserves and they together fought for eachother. ❤️

I've always liked Charlotte but found her naivete a bit baffling, her being a Cater! This book made see her in a different light, one filled with a love of life & willingness to try anything, even if it hurt her. I realised that's strength & bravery not naivete!💪🙏
After trying to bend herself into someone she isn't, for the man she's seeing, she makes a mistake & he refuses to stop then hurts her even further.💔😭 She escapes & goes to find her bestie Landon but he's not at the gym, his partner is, Drew. He calms her down & takes her to her parents. Drew & Charlotte strike up a friendship, she feels safe around him even if he is tattooed giant full of muscle - he's hot!🔥😉
Time shows her ex wasn't who claimed to be. No one can find him. Charlotte is being threatened via poems & the ominous flower arrangements they're attached to.😳🌹Drew is becoming more attached to her and her quirky outlook on life.😍
I adored this couple & loved their book. I'm so glad I got to meet Charlotte in a deeper way. Drew's character & family were excellent. His Dad's side were great his Mum's not so much!😕 I did like Allison though. I loved the ladies from Tease. They're funny, clever, sassy & strong.😍 I can't get enough of stories from this world!🙏💕

Oh Charlotte, I’ve never related to a character as much as I relate to you, your out loud thoughts, non filtered words and naivety. I had high hopes for you and I knew Lisa would do your journey and love story proud.
The Carter family is my all time favourite family series, each book gets better and better, I connect with each character so much, and if there was any bookish universe I could visit this would definitely be first on my list.
Charlotte is a hilarious character who had me giggling the whole way through the book. Drew is her perfect match, he understands her in a way that many don’t and their connection was totally swoon worthy.
Drew is the Prince Charming Charlotte had been wishing for. His love and protection of Charlotte is hella sexy and the fact he is tall, muscular and a gym owner with a man bun didn’t hurt either.
The mystery and thrill of this book had me gripped, hence why I read it in one day, I just couldn’t put it down.

Heartfelt and funny
I have been waiting for Charlotte’s story ever since learning about her the first book in this series called ‘Faith’. She is so charming and hilarious! She creates funny/awkward situations without meaning to and speaks what’s on her mind. #nofilter She’s is 100% genuine.
Every book in this series always broaches a particular situation: Dating sites, stalking; Underground Fighting, self-loathing; child abuse, sex trafficking, emotional & physical trauma, bullying, forbidden love; anger issues, trust issues, gangs; domestic violence, child endangerment, violence in general; daddy issues, betrayal, deception; rape, assault, arson…
With each situation is a resolve that is written so beautifully and with such strength for the female character as well. Charlotte may seem meek and naive, but she matures with such strength and ferocity because of her situations. Because of her family. Because of Drew.
Every book in the Carter series and the as well as the Hayes brothers books are ones I’ll read over and over again. This writer knows how to get her readers to connect with the characters and draw them in. This book is a must read!

With each situation is a resolve that is written so beautifully and with such strength for the female character as well. Charlotte may seem meek and naive, but she matures with such strength and ferocity because of her situations. Because of her family. Because of Drew.
Every book in the Carter series and the as well as the Hayes brothers books are ones I’ll read over and over again. This writer knows how to get her readers to connect with the characters and draw them in. This book is a must read!

Amazing
I love the Carter series and the Carter kids series and have bought every single one, the author is amazing. Befire i read this book i saw that people were returning this book after buying and reading it. After reading it myself i cannot understand why. I think this book has to be the best in the series so far. It handles domestic abuse and gaslighting in a sensitive and thought provoking way.
Charlotte has always been one of my favourites throughout the series due to her quirkiness and this book had me laughing out loud in most places with the things she came out with. It also had a healthy dose of Max who never fails to make me smile. The story was really well written and highlighted a really important issue and Drew was dreamy and the perfect partner for Charlotte.
I am hoping either Madison or Hope’s book is next as i miss Malik and Mason.

I always wanted Charlottes story and so glad to finally have read it. From the beginning it had me in tears and I so felt her pain, but as always nothing can keep a Carter down. Charlottes flaw is that she sees the good in everything. Which isn't a bad thing but unfortunately some things just aren't good. When she runs to find Landon on the worst night of her life and finds Drew instead she isn't prepared for the changes he will bring to her life.
This book will have you in tears one minute and then laughing your ass off the next. Charlotte has NO filter and says any and everything. I loved her freshness and pure heart and Drew was just what she needed. The way he made her feel and what he got in return from her was just heartwarming. This was by far the best book in this series for me. I really loved all of the secondary characters from Tease also.

Wonderful read
Charlotte was a wonderful and inspiring book. One of the things I found so great about the book was when Charlotte explained her happy outlook and persona. I could really relate because Charlotte echoes my own belief. Try relating positive instead of negative, you'll be amazed.
Drew is wonderful. He truly has what is needed for a woman like Charlotte to help her believe in herself and to realise she is wonderful just the way she is.
I really hope MS. Gray is planning on doing a book about Madison. We always get a glimpse of her and there seems to be an air of mystery there.

Hands down the best book of this series.. I read this a bit backwards in that I started the tease series first, in reading about the characters from there I realized that there were 2 whole series before that … so I backtracked. I loved Charlotte and her story. I was beginning to get annoyed with the family interference from the pervious books especially Max .. even Hayden’s book was a bit of a disappointment for me. And I think lily’s book will annoy me with the family interference as well but I’m going to try it. I love Charlotte and drew. Charlotte was such a fun loving character. Great story.

4 Naive Stars 🌟
It was an amazing book...with all the the emotions bundled in one book.
Charlotte is really lovely and I did not expect her to be so amazing .
Just somewhere in between I thought story was being dragged. That's why not 5 stars.
And as always loved reading Carters' banter it is really very funny.
Hope you(Author) are not ending the series here. Cause there was no blurb kind of thing in the end where we know who is the next cousin. But there was chapter in Madison's pov between the book. So IDK but waiting to read the book of next Carter❤️😊

Loved it!
This is my first ever review and I have to say I'm so glad it was for Charlotte. I know it's not just me that has loved her character and waited impatiently for her book to arrive. For all her quirkiness, I can identify myself in her with her insecurities and struggles and its makes the story more personable and emotional.
Lisa Helen Gray has done a brilliant job with writing her story as with all of the others but this one was truly beautiful. Can't wait to read more and to reread all of them again whilst waiting for the next book to arrive. Who's next?

Life for all Carter’s stood still to help and support her through it all.
I love the absurdity of Max and the bond w all the siblings and cousins. The friendships w the girls of Tease were so steadfast that I hope to see more of them in future books.
I loved sweet Drew and his devotion for Charlotte.
This is another book that I will read many times!

Beautiful
Charlotte and Drew are perfect, they are each other soul mate. There love, respect, honesty for each other jumped of the page. Thank you for not changing Charlotte’s personality never changed, she is so amazing we all need a Charlotte in our lives and a Drew to catch you if you fall. The story was great, the Carter’s amazing as usual, love them. My only complaint is front cover it is so not Charlotte you read on the pages and it needed better proof reading. Looking forward to next one, loved this one.

I loved Charlotte she is a great character even though she goes through her life with rose coloured glasses you can't help but love her. I laughed and cried through this book and as usual you get the full on Carter family drama. The story was coming to terms with events that are very hard to deal with but on her worst day Charlotte finds her shining light in Drew. Drew has his own family drama and has help from Charlotte to deal. A great addition to the series can't wait to see what's to come from Lisa. 😁

Si hay un libro que ansiaba leer era este y vaya que no me defraudo. Lo ame desde la primera a la ultima pagina. Drew si bien por fuera parece intimidante es la persona más dulce y considerada de todas. Charlotte con sus locuras tiene el corazón más grande de todos y como sufrí leyendo lo que le paso. Este es un libro que te hace pasar por todas las emociones, es una completa montaña rusa.
Y vaya que ya estoy preparada para la próxima historia. Cual Carter será? No lo se pero estoy segura que la voy amar.

Amei!!
Gostei de como a Charlotte era pura e via o melhor do mundo. E como ela lidou com tudo o que aconteceu com ela. O fato dela fazer as coisas que ama sem vergonha é inspirador e chega a ser engraçado as coisas que ela fala e a relação das pessoas.
O Drew é maravilhoso também e amei como ele lidou com a família da Charlotte e com ela, amando tudo o que ela é.
A família como um todo ao mesmo tempo que é divertida também me lembrou como as vezes são um pouco demais. Principalmente o Max. Mas de forma geral é divertido de ler.

OMG... The best one yet!!
If i could give more than 5 stars i would! This by far is my favorite next gen Carter book. Charlotte was a legit roller coaster of emotions. Her friends are amazing and i wish i had friends like them❤. Drew? Swoon... This book was well worth the wait and Lisa, you out did yourself. This author is an automatic buy it now for me and will always be. I'm not giving spoilers, you just need to read this!!

Deeply Moving
This book! I am a huge fan of the series having read all off the books many times. This book gave a story that is sadly common in today's world, but the strength and growth of Charlotte was amazing to read. I thought her story was written with the compassion and sensitivity needed. It depicted the inner struggles so well and it was amazing to read that throughout the book. Loved it and was deeply moved!

i am in love!!!! carter brother and next generation carter brother's is one of my all time favourite series. i have laughed so hard reading each book in the series , everyone of them have a special place in my heart (but my all time favourite is max). this book made me cry and laugh so hard, charlotte is so special and funny, it was worth the wait. i absolutely loved this book like every other in the series. can't wait for more!!!!!
