Since this is a sequel I’m going to keep my review short to avoid spoilers. This is definitely a series you are going to want to checkout but start with the first one Awaken. I found this to be a great continuation of the story. Usually sequels upset me because the main character will completely change but I’m happy to say Amarah stayed the same! She was still our strong female badass character. Even though her character stayed true to who she is, we still saw a good amount of character growth. It was also neat to see how her powers got stronger and evolved. I absolutely love the dynamic and relationship between her and Logan! I think they make a great couple and I love how he treats her.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this one. It was well written, the plot continued to be developed well, and the characters are likable and relatable. If you want to give it a try, both books are on Kindle Unlimited! I’m excited to read the next one in the series!

Fey Blood, the sophomore installation of the Amarah Rey urban fantasy series, delivers an adventure packed full of plot, character development, and romance all around. Haun has shown dedication to her craft by not only bringing us an updated cover for this novel, but also by delving back into the book’s manuscript and polishing the story to showcase her growth as an indie author.
Talk about plot development! Just like Book 1, there are plenty of moving parts in Fey Blood that demonstrate the intricacy of its magical universe. The reader meets a number of characters (both old and new) with mysterious qualities and intentions, and the stakes are even higher this time around with the fate of the Fey people left in the hands of Amarah and company.
I definitely think the pacing was a lot more balanced in this book than the first one. The universe and central conflicts have been introduced by this point, and so this sequel was a great way to focus on the personal journeys taken by the protagonists. We see a lot of scenes featuring many individuals from the previous novel, but this is still very much an Amarah-centric story; I loved all the different moments in which we see her training as a warrior, developing her abilities, learning more about the Fey world, and finding love along the way.
The themes of found family, identity, self-worth, and belief in one’s self make this novel easily relatable. Amarah’s journey is still only just beginning, and with this being planned as a four-part series, I’m excited to see where the following books will take this exciting story. A great romantasy sequel!
I loved diving back into this series. It picked up quickly and there was never a dull moment. I loved being back into this world with these incredible characters! The expanding of the world was interesting but not an info dump. I didn’t love some of Amarah’s actions at times and I feel like one plot point should have been fleshed out a bit more, but overall this was a great read and I can’t wait to dive into the third book!

Fey Blood by Harmony A. Haun is an urban fantasy and book 2 in the Fey Warrior series. It picks up not long after book 1 and continues with the action!
Amarah is learning to use her powers and coming to terms with this new life she was thrown into. I enjoyed reading about her feelings regarding the responsibilities she has now that she has powers. Her character development was one of my favorite parts of this book. The men in this book are delicious and powerful! I truly loved the different relationships they all had with Amarah. And the ending??? Perfection!
This book gives you so many great characters old and new, it's action packed, more magical creatures, slow burn and the spice is so good!!!!
Book 3 is set to release 8/24, go check this series out!

You all need to stop sleeping on this One!!
The second book in this series was really good. The MC, Amarah continues learning about her powers but things start happening real quick which leaves her to learn how to use her powers in the midst of some very difficult situations.
On top of everything going on, she is in this relationship with Logan (🥵! ).Their bond is such a strong bond BUT forces Amarah faces are also very strong, pulling her in different directions. She has some decisions to make and she has to make them quick!
Ugh I cried, I got upset, I laughed, I was wowed by certain scenes 🥵 🌶…
The ending had me screaming “Nooooo!!”..
@harmonyahaun did a great job writing these two books! Such a vivid writer.
I Can’t wait for the next book to see what happens. Book hangover like a mug!!!

This is book 2 in the Amarah Rey Series! The story continues, your fave characters return and continue to grow, new characters are introduced, and the spice 🌶🌶🌶 oooweee it definitely heated up from book 1! I don't want to give anything away so go read it! Enjoy! 🤗

Fey blood had me hooked from page one. The first book in the series was phenomenal, we got to know Amarah and how she came to terms that she was different from everyone else.
In the sequel, we see Amarah learning how to control her new found powers and unraveling a secret that could change her life forever. We also read from previous characters like the fierce and handsome Logan, who will stop at nothing to protect Amarah. Of course Valmont returns and we see just how powerful he can be. I never had a doubt that I would devour this book and I did in just two sittings. The action in this book was just incredible, the fight scenes were intense and the magic system was literally breath taking.
The last sixty pages of this book were so incredible, just full of intrigue, revelations and heartbreak and in the best possible way. I couldn't believe that ending Harmony had instore for the readers, I immediately read the sneek peek for book three and I am absolutely ready to return to this intense and satisfying story.

Maaaaan was this book an emotional rollercoaster. So many things happened that made me want to read more and more. I had to stop about halfway through the book because I got busy with work life, etc. but when I picked back up the second half I finished it all in under 3 hours. I loved Awaken, and I am so happy I got to read Fey Blood. The ending has me SOBBING, and I just need Dark Temptations to be out so I can know what happens with Amarah and everyone else next. Harmony does an incredible job capturing her audience with her words and stories, and I am so happy her work is out there in the world. Not only is she an amazing author, but she is a great person. She takes the time out of her day to interact with her readers and is so kind. I love Amarah Rey, and I’m so ready to read more of her story! ps: (SPOILER ahead) - Andre, you will forever be in my heart. (Trying not to cry while typing that).

After the discovery of the betrayal that takes place in Awaken, Amarah must face the dark and evil forces against her. Now, the fey have an alliance with the vampires, they have gained an ally. But, they must find a witch to solidify their deal. Meanwhile, the demons attacking Amarah and the fey are getting stronger and stronger, and much harder to kill. Rumours spread that a well known, dark witch is working alongside those who betrayed the fey months ago, is she the source of the demon's new born strength?
Where to begin with this one? Harmony did such a great job again; this one is even better than the last! You can really see the improvements between the two! Also, I would just like to add that Harmony works so hard on writing and promoting her books, I would love to see them get some more recognition! So, why not check them out if you're interested?
I believe Amarah has grown a lot in this book. In the previous, she could be indecisive at times, especially regarding her love live, but she is a lot more head strong and willing to make a decision and stick by it. Seeing her relationship with Logan bloom was lovely to see and I am completely, 100% on the AmarahXLogan train!
Seeing Amarah train with the air fey was interesting! Especially since they are all healing from the events of the last book. The powers that the air fey can obtain and use are pretty impressive and creative! Watching Amarah grow and adapt to the ways of the air fey was great to see.
Again, we meet new characters, who I quickly was fond of. Surprisingly, I was quickly drawn to the children that Amarah meets in the air fey family! They're just so lovely!
The whole ending of this book is both sad and surprising! I won't give anything away, but I was saddened then utterly shocked at the plot twist in the last few pages! I am so curious and excited for the next installment! I will have to patiently wait for it to be released haha

Whooah,
Harmony....girl, you once again captivated me with this book. You also had my heart in the palm of your hand at the end of the book.
The action, the suspense, the heartbreak (yes I cried) and yes the steamy scenes in this book were just perfect.

This book takes place about 2 months after book 1 where Amarah learns she doesn't live in the world she thought. She isn't human after all. Nope she's actually a fey warrior, but a rare one of a kind fey warrior. That only a few people know exactly what she is.
She realizes she needs to be training, but man she just wants to enjoy life with her new man, Logan. Can we blame her though. Seriously.
But she gets back into her training routine and even though she struggles, she never gives up. Events start to unfold. More secrets are unveil, and Amarah has to find the strength within her to fight a bigger battle than before.
She's tested not only physically, but emotionally, and mentally.
I definitely enjoyed this book.
The cliffhanger, not so much, but I'm dying to get my hands on book 3, Dark Temptations. That comes out next month.
Definitely recommend.

Another continuation of the Amarah Rey series and dare I say - this was quite the ride for me! I still love Amarah as an MC, and seeing her grow and develop in the second book has been enjoyable! There were a few decisions she made, but we're all human. It makes her character feel more "real". I do love the amount of spicy in this story, though it's not the main reason I came to read the series. Haun knows how craft a fast-pace, fascinating tale of magic and love. If you loved Awaken, you'll love Fey Blood.

We start off where we left in book one. Amarah and Logan are getting cozy in their fort knox, amarah's home! But things are about to get intense when Valmont, a sexy british vampire, calls to say they have a meeting with the witches.
Amarah is slowly learning her powers and confident in her abilities. She is much less indecisive then the first book. However, she still has moments where insecurities creep in (don't we all). My favorite thing about Amarah is how honest and open she is with herself, she acknowledges the good and the bad. Her relationship with Logan as the sweetest romance! We love a possessive alpha wolf.
I can't write a review without talking about Valmont! My favorite british vampire. I volunteer as to be Valmont's mate. But I might have some competition. Ughh, he's sexy and dark. The best combo! We get some scenes with him, but I need more. I'm looking forward to read book 3!!

This is the next installment to Awaken: An Amarah Rey, Fey Warrior Novel by Harmony A. Haun. I enjoyed the first book and was excited when she reached out to me to read an ARC of this one. I loved it.
This one surpassed the first one for me. I continue to love Amarah's journey of trying to learn to grow into her position of being the Fey Warrior. I love how she struggles to get a hold of her powers and it's not an instant thing. That she struggles with herself and who she is. Now the men in this book continue to draw me in. Oh and I can't forget the spice... it stepped up in this one! The relationship with Logan grew on me more in this one. I do enjoy a territorial werewolf. Valmont, the vampire, I see you. I can't wait for more of him. Andre, the cocky fire fey, he will always have a piece of my heart. The addition of witches in this one was a great add. This pulled at my heart towards the end and left me having all kinds of feelings. That ending! I'm here for it. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Harmony Haun does it again in her second book of the Amarah Rey series! I was given access to this one before it was released (SUCH AN HONOR)! I absolutely loved it and how we continue to watch Amarah evolve with her powers. She is still such a strong female character and it’s refreshing to see a female be the one in control! She’s got all the guys wrapped around her fingers! Harmony certainly added some spice to this one, to heat things up 🔥 Definitely recommend this one…but be sure to read book one of the series first!!

(I'm a complete emotional wreak when something sad happens in books)
I knew Michael was dodgy, I just didn't like him from the minute he appeared and knew something was off and I was right 🙈 hoped I was wrong though.
Being Scottish I loved seeing a Scottish character but I think more Scottish slang would of been good to see and it would of added more to his character but that could also be the Dundonian in me 😉 as I'm super oary and a proper Scottish lass 🤭
