Elena What was I thinking? To convince my friends I was over my ex, I signed up for a reality dating show. Only to be matched up with the hottest guy on the island. I know his type. Lying. Cheating. Insert derogatory term here. Kye would never look at me in the real world. But he’s saying all the words I want to hear, and I’ve just said, “I do.” If we stay married for six months, we win the cash and Kye will get more Instagram followers than he can count.
The man in my bed is rapidly stealing my heart. But can I stop from falling in love with my husband before he leaves?
Kye I thought reality TV would lead to fame and fortune. Except, the producers paired me up with Australia’s Newest Sweetheart. If I break her heart, they’ll crucify me in the edit. I was willing to do anything for fame and money. But will I throw it all away for the woman I never meant to love?
Life is too short for bad coffee or bad wine. Kenna Shaw Reed was happily married to the love of her life and raising her three teens. A diagnosis of MS made her reevaluate her life. Some days her hands were having trouble communicating with her brain. If she didn't start getting the books out of head now, it could be too late. Thus started her writing career of complicated loves and interwoven lives. So what's left on her bucket list? Health willing, to grow old with the love of her life. Remain friends with her children as they become adults. Focus more on relationships and less on career. And to keep writing.
5 ½ stars!! Add Sunshine, a little breeze, a beach, a reality TV show…INSTA…love???
What a great storyline, so unique and interesting! It was a ‘couldn’t put it down’ read for me. The characters, all of them—and there were quite a few—were well thought out and excellent in the story’s placement.
I could ramble on about how much I loved this book, but your time would be better spent reading INSTA BRIDE. It is worth the time!
I've read several books written by Kenna Shaw Reed; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
She has written another great book. Elena & Kye are on a reality dating TV show; neither of them planned on things going as they have. Now they are married and if they remain married for six months they will a lot of cash and Kye will get more Instagram followers than ever.

Elena and Kye meet on the set of a reality TV show where they are paired together by the producers. She is Australia’s Newest Sweetheart, and he is the Bad Boy. Elena applied for the TV show to prove to her friends she was over her lying, cheating ex. Kye wanted the fame and fortune that could come with it. They would have nothing to do with each other in the real world, however being on the island is a little different. They must stay together to beat the other contestants who will do almost anything to win. Kye and Elena get married on the island then come home to the real world. Can she trust him? Everyone is trying to tear them apart. Nasty rumours and photos keep emerging, but they need to stay true to win. Can they do it without falling for each other?
Elena is a strong, independent woman. She doesn’t want to have a repeat of what happened with her ex, so she is afraid of trusting men, especially hot playboys with a bad reputation. Kye’s the ultimate playboy who craves fame and the fortune. He is confident and successful. In this case opposites attract. Elena learns to trust Kye and believe in him and their relationship. He changes his bad boy ways to win Elena over and prove to her that he can be different. I loved these characters. They both grew into what they needed to make the relationship work and stayed true to themselves along the way. Their friends were different too, with her friends unsupportive of the relationship while his were the opposite. I thought this was a different spin on the support characters. The other contestants on the show were an interesting mix of people too. Some you wanted to love and others you could throw your hands in the air and scream really?
The book was an enjoyable Sunday read. A beautiful romance with a HEA which I love. Beautifully written, extremely easy to read with twists and turns throughout to keep you wanting more. I’ll definitely follow this author.

I thought my rage could fuel my finishing this after whatever the fuck her name is kicked the man out of bed bc she found out he'd slept with men too in all his "whoring around." But honestly? I'm Not Interested in reading however Kenna Shaw Reed is going to get them out of this. Is it all gonna be okay bc he's really actually very straight, not even a little bisexual, and his being with men was a fluke/random and he had never been *romantically* involved with a man?
Idgaf that he is genuinely straight, it's the fact that I KNOW this is a lived reality for a lot of my fellow bisexuals is just really pissing me off. She could deal with him flirting with women but as soon as he *may* flirt with men too OH NO, WATCH OUT. Bisexual men are not closeted gay men! (just like bisexual women are not secretly straight, THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND DICK). And if your man is slutty he's JUST SLUTTY, he does not get sluttiER because men entered the pool of candidates for sex.
Also, for the record, this book was not good before the biphobic bullshit. All telling, no showing, terrible pacing, lots of women hating and slut/body shaming, ~not like other girls~ bullshit, forced chemistry, whatever whatever.
So, in summary: Fuck off, fuck you, I quit. Cheers.
Insta Bride-A Reality TV Romantic Comedy by Kenna Shaw Reed is one of a kind, intense, enriched, evidence of much research, romantic comedy. Kenna Shaw Reed must have been a contestant or knew a lot of the process because the reader must pay serious attention or get lost. It is just so involved and hard to decipher. The story follows the contestants from start to finish of the show. Sometimes it is difficult to know what is real and what is scripted. Kye is a womanizer that went on the show for fame or fortune. Elena went on hoping to get back in the dating field. They did not get what they were looking to find. It is a delight to read as you follow the exciting life of these people on their way to a happy ending... or not! At times I was aggravated, other times wanted to slap some sense into a contestant, or scream with frustration at the process of the show. All in all I felt as though I won the big prize.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Elena and Kye. She's submitted her application to the reality tv show Australian Love Story to prove to her friends she's ready to date again. Never did she plan on making the cut. Kye is trying to win more clients and plans on using his presence in the site to help. At each step of the process, she's just a wallflower, but Kye notices her. When they make it and find out they are paired together for the month long adventure, neither can believe it. She's so quiet and he's a player. What they don't plan is to develop feelings. As they progress thru the month things change. An unexpected twist please try to figure out. One's back in the mainland people are trying to ruin what they have. The Kye keeps insisting on Elena trusting him. Great HEA in the end with lots of embarrassing and hilarious moments.

I have to admit that I'm not a huge reality TV fan. But I do like hearing the behind the scenes gossip. Elena and Kye go into the show with completely different motives. But it's not a secret that they're attracted to each other. When they're paired up, it's either become a convincing couple or be kicked off the island. But what happens when they leave the island and the stakes are even higher?
This book started out a bit slow, but it grew on me. I had a bit of trouble keeping all of the couples straight and what was going on, but I'm thinking that if it were a real show, I'd have that problem anyway. There were so many great characters and I couldn't help but cheer for a few of them and hope that the mean girls got what they deserved.
Fun storyline and a great book. I enjoyed it.

to get to know the couples gave a great insight to reality tv that I rarely watch, but, if it had these couples, I would watch. A handsome model type who plans to play the game to enhance his public profile. A shy pretty girl who sarcastically signs up, never imaging to be chosen, let alone falling in love. She makes things as difficult as possible for Kye, yet, the more she demands, the harder he works to gain Elena's trust. Their journey to happily ever after is hysterical, frustrating, romantic. A page turner that I could not put down

Loved it, rate this author so highly... I've never watched any of these trashy, to me, TV shows, fake & engineered by the puppet masters. I'm aware I'm probably in the minority & whilst I often live vicariously, I do so through books & some day dreaming. Have to say though that this book by one of my favourite authors got me invested from the get go. I was intrigued that the bad boy was attracted to a plain Jane but she intrigued him & they married on the show but would they win the coveted prize? I loved the hint of Darius & Dirty Blonde & her lads from the band, they blend so seamlessly & I enjoy that reconnection. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
It the really thing or is it. Sometimes you go out of your comfort zone and found something great. But you hit a lot of bump and things being throw at you. Do you follow your heart or all your friends. Some thing don’t look like what they seams. Life is a lot of up and down which you’ll read in this story and some laughs and you may cry also. So read the book and enjoy.

Event though I am not a fan of reality TV I found the blurb interesting enough to pick it up, the little snipets that the author sent by email newsletter also helped and I am glad I did because I just loved Kye and Elena's story. As always the authors writing quality and style is awesome and even when it isn't a favorite trope of yours the story just simply suckes you in.

I struggeld with this story a bit because it was hard at times to follow where the story was going. I found the writers style in this story a bit stiff and it lacked a flow as well. I did like part of it but it was dragged out a bit too much and I just did not get a real feel for or connection to or between the characters untill the very end of the story.

I enjoyed this story so much more than I thought I would. Reality tv is a guilty pleasure so of course I had to check out this story after reading the blurb. It had me laughing and thinking about the bachelor, married at first sight, and all the other shows that are train wrecks but you can’t stop watching. It was pretty spot on and I couldn’t stop reading. If you love all of the above, then you need to click this one.

This is a sweet romance with two people who were out to gain something by going on the reality show. Elena wants to prove to her friends that she is over her ex and Kye just wants to get popular. When these two get together they both get something they were not counting on and that is love.

Yes, I rated my book 5 stars because I loved the banter, the fun, and the twist. I loved how her ex asshole (ex-boyfriend) got what he deserved. It was so much fun writing a rom com, that I might just have to do it again.
