USA TODAY Bestselling Author Claudia Burgoa brings us a snarky and sassy small-town romantic comedy full of a swoon-worthy billionaire, a second chance romance and big laughs.
Sometimes what you're looking for is right where you left it.
Every summer Mane Cantú came to Luna Harbor to visit his grandfather.
When we were teenagers we fell in love.
We promised to be each other’s forever.
He promised to come back for me.
Spoiler alert: he broke all of the promises.
I grew up, but that big heartbreak was it for me. I built a successful lavender farm and a shop and that’s now my only priority.
All is well until Mane’s grandfather falls ill and all the Cantú family comes back to Luna Harbor. For good.
What’s worse is that Mane’s now famous. Like, real-life famous, not Luna Harbor famous. He made a name for himself with his band and he and his perfect face dare to open a bar next to my store with his bandmates.
Well, he may have started the war, but I plan to finish it.
Except now we’re seeing each other everywhere, and I’m starting to remember the way we used to be.
Still, I’m sticking to my guns. I’m not falling for the prodigal son.
Claudia is an award-winning, USA Today bestselling author. She writes alluring, thrilling stories about complicated women and the men who take their breath away. She lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband and her youngest two children. She has a sweet Bichon, Macey, who thinks she's the ruler of the house. She's only partially right. When Claudia is not writing, you can find her reading, knitting, or just hanging out with her family. At night, she likes to binge watch shows with her equally geeky husband.
Finally You is book one in Claudia Burgoa’s brand new series, Luna Harbor. This is a spin off of her Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series. Reading the Baker’s Creek series is not required but having read it would increase your enjoyment of this new series.
Nydia Vega Knapp is nearly twenty nine years old. She lives alone on her deceased grandparents farm which she has turned into a lavender farm in Luna Harbor, Washington. Nydia makes all kinds of products from her lavender which she develops herself in her little lab on the property and which she sells in her own shop in Luna Harbor. But she is barely scraping by. She has more bills than she can handle and does everything on her own. But then the fancy dressed lawyer comes to town making her an offer she can’t refuse that could help to dig herself out of debt.
Manelik Cantu is the drummer in the band Too Far from Grace. We learned of this band in the Baker’s Creek series since Beacon is in the band. They are currently on hiatus since Beacon is recovering from his injury. Manelik and his siblings all need to go home to the small town his grandfather lives in since he is ill. They all agree to help run their grandfather’s local businesses. Upon arrival, though, they can tell that the town is slowly dying and they all agree that they will work together to revive it to it’s former glory.
Manelik and Nydia were best friends since they were babies, then as teens, their friendship changed to more. They were the center of each other’s worlds, each other’s everything. It was supposed to be the two of them forever. But it didn’t end up that way. They haven’t seen each other in over ten years. They both blame each other for what happened, for the ending of their relationship. But, now, Manelik is back in Luna Harbor and it is inevitable that they will run into each other. Truths need to be shared, years of silence to be made up for. But can either of them let go of their anger long enough to listen?
This was a beautiful second chance romance. These two clearly never let go of the other over all these years. But they’ve grown up. They have both suffered through so much. I felt terrible for everything Nydia has been forced to endure, all on her own. I did enjoy getting to know Manelik’s band mates and his real brothers. I feel like there are so many stories here to tell. The next book will be the keyboardist’s book, Fisher Hannigan. I can’t wait to see who he falls for.
It's okay. It's a bit frustrating, they need to talk things through but as is the case with this troupe, we have to wait until 75% before they actually talk.
During separation. “Because of what happened,” she says, wiping the tears with the back of her hand. “I’m sure you’re used to having sex with groupies and then pushing them away. This isn’t any different.” “Nydia, please.” I want to reason with her, but I don’t know what to tell her. She’s not wrong about the groupies. I’ve ****** a few, but that was when I was younger. This isn’t that. She’s Nydia. He hasn't been with anyone else in a while.
She undergoes some trauma, no mention of anyone else.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine. Hero is photographed with models etc. HEA.

I struggled to get into this second chance romance from the very start. I felt like there were too many characters introduced at once and it got really confusing.
The Hero , Mane , is in a rock band but apparently he's also some high flying secret agent involved in some secret security shenanigans.
I did not like Mane. He said horrible things about Nydia, the heroine at the start. Did he redeem himself? I guess so. Once they sort out the confusion that separated them and he realised what had happened he was better.
Nydia was ok I guess. I liked her more than most of the other characters in the book.
Elements of this story were just too far fetched for me. I have never read anything by this author but I now understand this links to two of her other series and maybe if I had read those then I may have had a better handle on all the characters who appeared.
This is just my opinion - didn't work for me but you may love it. Lots of great reviews out there for this novel and clearly a strong fan base for the author. I would try another book by her but I will make sure that it's an original series and not a spin off.
HEA? More HFN. Cheating? No Be aware ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
This was a sweet second chance read but it got frustrating that the resolution only happened in the final few chapters. After a while, the lack of communication works against the novel and not for it. This left minimal time for the reconciliation and the HFN. However, it is a series so perhaps that was deliberate and we will see evidence of their growth together in future books.
Yes-we get that the h harbours a strong grudge and residual anger and hate against the H because she felt he abandoned her in her time of need. Just wait til the 80% mark and you’ll find out what that time of need was.
Yes-we get that the H and his twin sister feel that the h was childish and not there for them in their time of need. Just wait til the 80% mark to find out that this coincided with what happened with the h.
I did like the supporting characters and look forward to reading the rest of the series.

I loved Mane and Nydia's story! Their story is one of childhood sweethearts that were torn apart by circumstances neither really understood but had their own realities dictating why they were no longer together. The heartbreak they each felt was palpable and once they reveal what happened in their lives that caused their rift, let's just say you're going to need tissues so be warned.
Claudia Burgoa weaves a story that can't help but pull you in from the very first page. You're going to want to not only get to know Mane and Nydia but the whole Cantú family as well as Mane's bandmates from Too Far from Grace.
I highly recommend this book to those that enjoy Small Town Romances, Second Chance Romances, Friends-to-Enemies-to-Lovers Romances, and Childhood Sweetheart Romances.
Finally You is book #1 of the Luna harbor series by USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa. It is a standalone book best enjoyed after reading The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series as it includes supporting characters from the latter. Genres: Contemporary Romance. Tropes: small town | second chance | billionaire romance | rock star romance
Nydia Vega Knapp loves her family’s ranch which she turned into a lavender farm. That provides the raw material for the products she develops to sell in her shop at Luna Harbor. But she’s barely making ends meet. Until she’s presented with an offer she can’t refuse.
Drummer Manelik Cantú needs to go home to help his siblings give life back to their family’s small town businesses. But going back means having to see his childhood friend and sweetheart. He hasn’t seen Nydia in a decade. Can they put aside their anger and reveal the real reason for their relationship’s demise?
I truly wanted to love this story. Claudia Burgoa’s writing is solid. The characters are well written and developed and the story is angsty and touching. So why the rating?
Although I’m all for drama filled, contemporary romance, I signed up to read a rom-com as indicated by the blurb, which confused and disappointed me a bit. I also picked this book because it’s the first in the series thinking I wouldn’t have to know anything about other characters or previous events. As it turns out, this is a spinoff of the Baker’s Creek Billionaire series and right off the bat I was bombarded with too many characters and history I was unfamiliar with which added to my confusion.
Fans of the Baker’s Creek Billionaire series will love this story.

* I was given an ARC of this book courtesy of the author via Valentine PR. The excerpts are from that copy. I am voluntarily reviewing this title. *
Nydia hasn’t had an easy life but with every setback she faces she picks up the pieces and moves forward as not only doesn’t she have any other choice, but she doesn’t allow a lot of people close. Manelik was the one person she allowed herself to love but he left her devastated and now that he has returned the pain of the past resurfaces as if it all happened yesterday rather than a decade ago.
Manelik is a successful musician who has returned to his hometown to be there for his family even if it means seeing the one person who broke his heart. When he sees Nydia, he doesn’t understand why she is angry with him as he should be the one angry with her but only time will tell if the love they shared is enough to overcome the secrets and misunderstandings between them.
Although Nydia and Manelik have been apart physically, emotionally they have always belonged to each other. Their time apart may have changed them as people but it hasn’t changed the enduring love between them but there is a lot of healing that needs to be done first.
Another favorite on my list of books by Claudia Burgoa. I loved this romance so much. Angsty, heartbreaking and real, these characters jump off the page as my new book obsession. Nydia fell in love with Mane when she was as kid. Then he left her and she hates him. At least that's what she tells everyone. Mane left but it's Nydia's fault. Both hold their hearts in their hands and won't talk. Then Mane comes back to Luna Harbor and they have to face each other again. This novel was everything I look for in a favorite. Slow burn, check. Hidden secrets, check. Likeable characters, double check. Go check this Nobel out yourself. Romance lovers will love it.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
2.5 or 3 ⭐️
This small town romance revolves around two childhood sweethearts who get a second chance at love.
I was just expecting a sweet romance, but I definitely felt there was a lot happening, and either it was because I took a long break in between reading or I was genuinely overwhelmed because I have no idea why some characters would do some things and how the story was going.
I enjoyed the first handful of chapters and it was cute, but I felt it started to take a turn when all these characters were introduced. I didn’t feel much of a connection with the two main characters. There was such a big gap and mystery in their relationship that neither of them could get the guts to say anything to each other about and just kept building up all this hate and confusion. And this was a quick read and small kisses were stolen here and there, but nothing major happened till the last couple of chapters.
Finally You by Claudia Burgoa is the first book in the Luna Harbor Series set in a small town near Seattle, Washington. This series revolves around the Cantú siblings who must return to their hometown to assist their sick grandfather in preserving their family legacy after many years of being away.
Finally You is a small-town, second chance, childhood sweethearts romance featuring the youngest Cantú brother Manelik and Nydia Vega-Knapp. These two grew up together in Luna Harbor, fell in love, but drifted apart due to misunderstandings and unfortunate circumstances. Manelik is the drummer of the band Too Far From Grace which is featured in Burgoa’s Baker Creek series. He is also a spy for The Organization, but is currently taking a break while their teammate recovers from an accident. Nydia lives alone on her deceased grandparent's farm where she grows lavender and sells homemade products in her shop. Burdened by bills and with no end in sight Nydia accepts an offer she can’t refuse and is reminded of a blast from the past, in the form of Mane, she’d rather forget than address.
Burgoa has a unique ability to captivate her readers with her unique and slightly complex plots. I really liked the plot as things weren’t revealed until into the book. The plot wasn’t predictable, and the characters were generally likable. However, I felt like some of the characters’ traits were far-fetched. There were things I didn’t find as believable as I’d like which resulted in me not being able to fully connect with some of the characters.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh, cry and kept me guessing. I’m looking forward to the books of the other Cantú siblings after seeing some hints about their stories in Finally You.
Claudia Y. Burgoa has been on my TBR for so long and I've finally decided it's time to read her work and I'm so glad that I did. This book made me cry like a little baby and I'm not even sorry to admit it.
Manelik and Nydia's story is filled with pain, heartbreak and so much sadness. As the story develops you can't escape the feeling that there might not be a HEA for these two. What they both endured and survived you can not help but root for them to find a common ground where they can find peace and happiness. Even when they did find it the sadness stayed but now when they're finally together the pain will be easier to bear.
Now I'm ready to return to this small town and see the next Cantu sibling finding his or her HEA.

Finally You (Luna Harbor #1) is a fresh and fantastic way to start out this series. Manlik and Nydia have the best kind of love hate relationship and these enemies to lovers captured my heart. They were childhood sweethearts and due to misunderstandings and miscommunication, their relationship ended. There was no closure and this created a lot of hurt and hostility between them. It’s obvious they’re still holding onto their pain however, it’s also obvious that their feelings for each other never waned or died. I could feel their emotions, the sexual tension and their love. Nydia appealed to me with her hardworking (she owns a lavender farm and creates lavender products which I absolutely love), sweet nature yet she’s tough and sassy with a little bit of a stubborn streak. Mane, the sexy and successful drummer for Too Far From Grace is stubborn as well (considering he and Nydia have that streak, the push and pull aspect between them was on fire) and an unassuming romantic. And reading about them rekindling their love made me swoon and left a lasting smile on my face.
Claudia Burgoa not only created a beautiful and heartfelt story with Mane and Nydia but the excellent cast of secondary characters (the Too Far From Grace band and the Cantu family) are heavy with kinship, family banter and witty comebacks. This really adds a lot to the well written storyline and makes it quite entertaining. I adore everything about Finally You, it’s a must read and I’m definitely looking forward to reading the series.
I can always tell it's going to be a great series when there is a great cast of characters, including a family, plus two major occupations.....a rock band and top security experts. The love interest sure was a bitter stubborn woman with a huge trauma in the past that she's still dealing with.
The trouble with a huge series with so many characters is that I'll read 200 books between now and next installment (Match 22) that I'll forget most of the characters.....
It's an exciting premise....not much rock and roll and just a tiny bit of security because it's a lavender farm that sets the stage. Very interesting.
I'm loving this new series of Luna Harbor by Claudia Burgoa, especially when it's interconnected with characters found in her other books. Mane and Nydia's story is one that is full of heartbreak and forgiveness. This is the epitome of a small-town, second-chance romance that will keep you wholly captivated. Finally You by Claudia Burgoa is an EPIC read that will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
This is the first book in the Luna Harbor Series, and it is about Mane Cantu a sexy drummer in a famous rock band Too Far From Grace and his long-lost love Nydia.
They were childhood sweethearts who were inseparable when they spent the summers together in Luna Harbor and then they were nothing! When Mane and Nydia cross paths in Luna Harbor after 10 years of no communication, their attraction towards each other is still strong and undeniable. However, both are angry and resentful for what happened between them and are too stubborn to take the blame for why they ended suddenly.
When their lives begin to entwine again truths and misunderstandings are revealed which are heartbreaking and painful. Will they accept the past and embrace the future together?
We are reunited with many of the wonderful characters from the Bakers Creek Billionaire Brothers Series and it was interesting to see how they are all connected and pivotal in each other’s lives. I really enjoyed this addition to the story of Mane and Nydia.
This was a wonderful second chance at love and was full of feels. I am excited for the next instalment of the Luna Harbor series.
We had a little taste of Luna Harbor in Maybe It’s You. I was intrigued and Finally You gave me everything I wanted and more. Mane and Nydia’s history was heartbreakingly beautiful. I loved this second chance romance. They got closure and was able to start a new beginning with the truth laid out from their past. The love they shared even after all the time separated never faltered. This is another great one from Claudia Burgoa as I ate up ever single one of her words as I fell in love with Mane and Nydia’s journey.
Nydia's first and only love is going to be back in town soon, and she's not sure she's ready for it. After all, he's the one who tore her heart into a million pieces when he wasn't there for her during the darkest time of her life. Now he's a successful musician, apparently has a dangerous side job, and he's mad at her for some ungodly reason. To top it all off, her father is still not waking up, his medical bills are piling up, and she may have to do something drastic to get the money to pay them, and to get her lavender business off the ground.
So much pain and anger on both sides, but these two finally worked through it all and got their second chance - and I loved it, loved them, especially Nydia. She's the kind of heroine I like most, strong, sweet, and working on herself. The small town felt similar to Baker Creek, which makes sense since this is the start of a spinoff of that series, and there are common characters, like Mane's bandmate, Beacon. I am so excited to keep reading as the people of Luna Harbor find love.
5 Star Review Finally You (Luna Harbor #1) by Claudia Burgoa
After reading the novella Maybe It’s You I couldn’t wait to jump in to Finally You. I was intrigued by Nydia and Manelik (Mane) Cantu and their second chance at love story was so good. I love small town romances and I could easily see myself in Luna Harbor.
I really felt for both Nydia and Mane; so much time and missed opportunities have passed them by. They never had the closure that they both needed, anger kept them apart. Now he is back, could they re kindle the love they once shared. Further complicating matters is that Mane is now a famous rock star and he and his band mates have a new bar, right next door to Nydia.
This was a fun, steamy listen with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in. The characters were easy to relate to and I really liked them separately and especially together. Nydia is such an independent, strong woman and one I really admire.
It’s such a fine line between love and hate and as much as they want to hate one another, it is obvious to those around them that the spark of love is still there. Can they come to terms with the past and in doing so find the love and happiness that they deserve?
Nothing will prepare you for the emotional love story of Manelik and Nydia!
Their story comes together with a chance of fate or maybe some meddling friends! Their former lovers who were separated by circumstance and now have a another chance! Though neither of them want to trust the other with their heart!
When truths come out and answers are finally given both have some tough choices to make about their future!
Nydia seriously had my heart from the start! The stubborn, beautiful but jaded woman was a Pilar of strength! She was infuriating at times I won’t lie but I loved her for it because she was a hard worker and had a lot to lose. Manelik is much the same but for all his bravado he had a soft spot for him former love and would do anything to see her shine once again.
This is the start of a beautiful series of books that will pull you through the ringer; in Claudia Burgoa fashion, but when it all comes together it’s one of sweetest things in the world!
This is a book that snuck up on me. I knew I wanted to read it since I heard about it. Once I started reading it though it felt slow for me. But then, Wow. This second chance, small town romance swept me off my feet. I was rooting for Mane and Nydia.
I personally feel like this story had a bit more heartbreak than most of Claudia Burgoa's books. The journey these characters went on was such a healing one. There were some subplots that were not wrapped up in this book. I look forward to other books in this series to see how those wrap up.
5 FINALLY YOU STARS!! Wow, what a way to start a new series. This one had all the feels and kept me turning pages. Mane and Nydia gave us one check of a story...that touched every piece of my heart.
Finally You is the first book in Claudia Burgoa's Luna Harbor series, but there is a prequel book, Maybe It's You, though it is not completely necessary to have read that before reading this book. This series is a spin off from her Baker's Creek Billionaires featuring Beacon Aldridge's friend/bandmate Manelik Cantú. So if you loved Baker's Creek you will love the start to the Luna Harbor series- though you can read this book without having read the other series, it will take a few moments for you to gather some of the intricate pieces of what has already happened once this story starts. There are also some fun cameos by Ethan and Zeke from the Second Chance Sinners series.
What an emotional journey this book took me on. I was captivated, breathless and my heart shattered as more and more of the story was revealed.
Nydia and Mane were childhood sweethearts who thought they had found their soulmate. Fast forward 11 years and both harbor so much hurt and anger toward each other for saying forever but not meaning it- only there was so much that each other didn't know at the time. Mane may have moved on to have success as both a musician and while working for The Organization but his unresolved feelings for Nydia. And those feelings cause the master of zen to lose his calm exterior. Nydia was always so caring and sweet but there is a little something that is different about her and facing the guy that destroyed her heart while the rest of her world fell apart is too much to handle.
Nydia and Mane's romance is heartbreaking but also soul healing. So many tragedies have taken place and while each of them tries to hold onto the anger and hurt their hearts yearn for and are drawn to each other- making the longing and tension thick on the pages. There is no quick fix to their pasts or pain, so it takes a LONG time for them to come back together minus a stolen kiss here or there.
I feel the little seeds of a secret in Manelik's family forming around Luna Harbor so I'm interested in how it will all play out through the series.
Finally You by Claudia Burgoa killed me sweetly with the heartwrenching angst, adorable feels, heartwarming friendships and a love that's so strong that comes back after years of heartbreak and pain. This small town second chance rom com is one of my all time favourite story ever.
Nydia Vega-Knapps has a lot on her plate. Her dying family farm. Her struggling business of homemade Lavender products. Her sick father. And her broken heart that never healed after her childhood sweetheart and best friend Menelik Cantu left Luna Harbour and never came back. But now he is back to the town because his grandfather is sick. He is a famous billionaire rockstar now and he has no idea why Nydia is so upset with him. And he and his bandmates have rented Nydia's farmhouse for staying. . Nydia and Manelik are both very strong and layered characters. They have a lot of issues of their own. They are soulmates but some misunderstanding and miscommunication tore them apart. They are angry, confused, hurt and conflicted. Because beyond the bitterness and pain, they still love each other. Nydia is so sweet, kind and fierce. Her life is full of so many upheavals but she keeps on fighting and she still sees the best in everyone. I love Mane and his brooding, protective, edgy alpha personality. He never felt whole and happy without Nydia and this is the time they have closure and new beginning. Their connection is electrifying and you can feel the power deep in your heart. I got to meet some of my very favourite characters from previous series and I am so excited for more from Luna Harbour as Too Far From Grace has so many rockstars and they have a story to tell.
Claudia Burgoa has delivered so much beautiful, swoony and intense emotions in Finally You. A Must Read of 2021.
Thank you @claudia_b30 and @valentine_pr_ for my ARC copy. Finaly you is a story about a boy and a girl, the tragic past between them and the angry and shaky future they will share. Nydia is a simple woman, a hardworking gal that is devoted to her lavander bussines. But her intimate life is dangling with debts pilling up, her relationship with her father and the anger she feels for very Cantu. Where once she loved Manelik Cantu, all she feels now is anger and resentment for the now popular man who simply dissapeared from her life. For Manelik things are pretry much the same, except for the anger and sadness that come to surface every time Nydia pops up in his head. Sparks are bound to fly when those 2 are reunited. Finaly you was a tragic love story and I am happy those 2 got the closure they deserved. I also like the subjects that the author touched like the effects accidents have on long term be they physical or mental, dealing with grie, therapy etc. Now this is purely my opinion so please keep that in mind. For more than half the action I was confused by what profession Manelik has.The blurb says that he is in a band. All nice until the action starts and he says and points out to let's call them unknown variables that made me believe that he isn't really a musician. Then through the story those unknown variabiles keep appering without any real explanations.I mean in Manelik supposed to be a musician or is he like one of those guys we see in action movies? The author should have clarified this part more as it's extremely confusing, same regarding what happened with Beacon. I chose to forgive the mistery regarding Nydia but only because that part of the story made an unexpected appereance and it made me like her more.
5 Star Review Finally You (Luna Harbor #1) by Claudia Burgoa
AUDIO REVIEW:
After reading the novella Maybe It’s You I couldn’t wait to jump in to Finally You. I was intrigued by Nydia and Manelik (Mane) Cantu and their second chance at love story was so good. I love small town romances and I could easily see myself in Luna Harbor.
I really felt for both Nydia and Mane; so much time and missed opportunities have passed them by. They never had the closure that they both needed, anger kept them apart. This was a fun, steamy listen with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in. The characters were easy to relate to and I really liked them separately and especially together. Nydia is such an independent, strong woman and one I really admire.
Narrated by Noah B Perez and Stephanie Nemeth Parker both who are new to me I found myself hooked on their performances. They brought the passion and angst and all the emotions to their narration and there were times I was moved to tears with the pain and anguish that they went through.
It’s such a fine line between love and hate and as much as they want to hate one another, it is obvious to those around them that the spark of love is still there. Can they come to terms with the past and in doing so find the love and happiness that they deserve?
Mane & Nydia had unfinished business. Childhood sweethearts that just drifted apart but they had no type of closure. Ten years later they’re reunited and in close proximity of each other and Nydia hates him. Mane tries to figure out what he did wrong and is extremely confused. His twin sister is also holding a grudge with Nydia since they were also friends. The banter between Mane and Nydia was hot at times as well as frustrating since she doesn’t tell him what happened ten years ago but still is furious with him. This secret was dragged out a little too long but when she explained it I understood why but still a little excessive. The secondary characters were hilarious and fun; his band mates are the best especially their manager Langdon lol can’t wait to see him fall. San and Fish were funny and amazing and Myka, Mane twin sister, the jury is still out on her. Other than that it was a great story and a beautiful second chance romance. Mane never gave up on winning her back and never listened when she repeatedly told him to stay away 😂.
