Filho de pai minhoto e mãe lisboeta, Ricardo Tomaz Alves nasceu no dia 27-06-1988, em Alvalade, e sempre viveu no Concelho de Sintra. Fez partes de algumas bandas, entre as quais os Jack & Dante. Cofundou a editora de música Contentor Records. Tem formação em revisão de textos e tradução. É casado e pai de duas meninas. Tem seis livros publicados, três deles traduzidos para Inglês.
