Stone Sober is book three in the Hawke Family series and features Stone and Nora, aka Dani’s sister😳
Nora has been working at the Hawkeye Club for a while now and she knows she has a mystery man who makes her feel all jittery when he’s watching her…but she doesn’t know who he is as he hides in the shadows❣️
Stone is moving back to New Orleans to work for Dom and has always stayed away because Nora is his own personal addiction and he’s tried to stay away from her…but it is no longer possible🙃
A great story with an unbelievable ending I did not expect and I’m looking forward to starting Storm’s book next😁
Building Storm⛈️
OMG, this book was emotional and so unexpected but I really enjoyed it❣️Storm is trying to overcome a great tragedy but she feels as though she is drowning and failing everyone around her. Her friend Caroline, drags her to a party, where she really does not want to be and this is where she meets Landon🤩
Landon has moved to New Orleans from Chicago to escape the betrayal he’s just been dealt. His brother, Chris has asked him to come aboard to help with some projects and he’s more than ready to jump in. He meets Storm at the party she’s dragged to and is drawn to her like a magnet. Not realising her connection to his brother, he soon discovers who she is and they embark on a journey together as friends with benefits😉
As mentioned a great story that I enjoyed with lots of suspense and emotion filled moments😢 I’m looking forward to Saint and Steele’s books next😍
I love both stories very much! Nora had some hidden secrets but so did Stone but his was so much worse than hers and it almost kept them apart.Stone work for a dangerous man and his brother and Gabe try to tell him but it took him almost losing his life before he believed them but he had to tell Nora and her sister what he did when he was a young boy and it caused a split but Stone used his time apart to straightened up his life then maybe Nora would consider another try and yes they did find happiness in the end! IN Storm's section of this book it was very very good, very intense! I had a hard time in reading it at first,Storm lost her heart Ben but so volition and Storm was on the edge of doing in her life but Landon enters her life and she finally she's that they might be c a bright light in her life, she except help from her family, friends and Landon. Landon had a dark secert when he move in the same state has the Hawke's and before he could tell Storm she found out what it was and she and Angelina loss had another loss but everyone was able to work it out and thru it,Storm and Angel and Landon became a family and the the Hawk's family was able have peace and happiness for awhile.
I am so glad to be reading more stories by Gwyn McNamee!! These stories pull you in and keep you bound until the end. I love them!! This grouping had Stone and Nora then Storm with Landon. I loved Stone and Nora together. I didn't see how Stone was going to get out of the grasp of Dom. The end was so shocking, something I never expected. Then Storm and Landon, both going through some major trauma. The two half lives definitely make a strong whole. Love these two together! I can't wait to continue on with this series! I highly recommend them!!
The second collection features Building Storm and Stone Sober. I love to see the characters from the previous book appear in these two books too. Both stories are great and they keep you glued to the pages up to the very end. Secrets are revealed and they make you want to scream at the characters but at the same time go and comfort them.
