Excellent source of practical and fun ideas for outdoor play and exploration. There are also ideas for expanding and combining the activities. I love that there is something for every season and all types of weather.

Lots of good ideas. Even if you follow 1000hoursoutside on Instagram, it’s nice to be able to flip through for ideas and read directions without being tied to a screen. My kids tabbed so many pages to try out.

Fun activity book. I made this mistake of reading this as a kindle book. It would be much better to pick and choose activities from a hard copy with your kids. Some were obvious activities, but definitely refreshed my memory about simple activities from childhood.

Great ideas and "recipes" for outdoor activities. A wide range of things to do in all seasons, especially winter. I feel like most of these are geared toward elementary/middle grade kids, like 5-13. Glad to have this book to revisit again and again!
