The opening of this story was so funny (if not dangerous). Harrison Sutter is repairing the floor in the foyer of the Come On Inn. There is a big hole in the floor, but Harrison is working underneath it. As he was laying on his back the front door opened and Tasha, the temp proprietor, came in whilst talking on her mobile. Before he could shout out a warning, she fell down the hole. Her knee slammed between his thighs and landed on top of Harrison. I also loved when Tasha thought she was having a lovely dream of kissing Harrison - but it was real. It was so funny.
I just loved this story. Fun to read. Brilliantly executed. 5☆

Harrison and Tasha

I love this series! Each of the brothers are interesting in their own right. Harrison in this book was battling his own demons and with the help of Tasha, he was in a good place by the end. Even though these are kind of stand alone books, each book is based primarily on another brother.

I like these stories but they end kind of abruptly for my tastes and the epilogues feature the hero from the next book instead of giving me some wrap up of this book. Still, I really liked this pair of characters.

A great read

Can't get more down home, laid back, nice people than this. A great story about a broken down Inn, it's struggling hostess and the hometown man, struggling with PTSD. Somehow they find their way together in this sweet love story.

Clean gun read

I loved that this was a clean romance and gave good insights to ptsd. This was the 3rd of this series I've read and I liked it from the first page. Unlike a lot of books I have read lately I liked the pace and didn't feel the need to jump ahead or to the end.

post war

It’s sad that many fellow Americans do not realize the price our soldiers have paid while serving in the military. We fail to recognize how much they are affected and suffer when they return home. The story kept your attention but also made you face reality.

Light after the dark. Harrison is definitely haunted by his past and Tasha is his light. A story that has humor quirks and intriguing characters.
