Another good read from Cap Daniels and I'll continue reading the series until finished. Mainly, I confess, due to my Kindle Unlimited subscription 🤷♂️ This book, like the others, has a Hardy Boys-like feel to it much of the time. But that's OK. I still find it enjoyable and at times amusing. But let's be clear - this is not Mitch Rapp. It is a solid "3" but not a "5". Probably a "3.5" but the scoring doesn't allow 1/2 scores.
The Afterword by the author resonated with me. First, having lived out west for much of my career, I share his observation of the majesty of the Rocky Mountains. I was fortunate enough to visit all of the places he references in Montana and many more in the states of the Rocky Mountains America West. Thank God for Teddy Roosevelt and his foresight to set up the National Park/Monument system to preserve these pristine environments.
Second, he states that he writes this series for 2 primary reasons: 1) to entertain the reader, and, 2) to pay homage to the warriors that keep us safe, usually out of sight and mind. You've achieved both, Cap!
And I share the author's love of aviation. Things that fly are cool 😎

You know usually when I start a new series and have all of them, I started getting bored after so many. But, not this series. You just want to continue to read and find out what Chase and his friends are up to.
This one takes place in Montana, in those beautiful mountains. Chase and his team are going out there to find out who is betraying who. Another team, much like theirs, has a mole (or two). Chase has to find out who it is in the band of soldiers much like them. That's not the only mission though.
The President has called and his niece has been kidnapped (so they think) and is in a religious cult. They want her out. This sounds like an easy one, just to penetrate the cult, but it winds up in lots of suspense and danger to Chase and his team. Who will make it out this time?

Cap Daniel’s is an author whom I’ve enjoyed for several years now and his “Chase Fulton Series” has always been a favorite of mine. “”The Bitter Chase” his latest addition to the series is no exception.
While Chase normal area of operation normally takes place in, and around Florida, The Gulf, and the Caribbean this time he’s in “Big Sky Country”. No bats involved. No spoilers either. Read the authors blurb, it will tell you what you need to know.
Exciting. Fun. Betrayal. Fun. Action. Fun.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book…Did I mention it was fun.

Super read
The Bitter Chase
I have read all the Cap Daniel's novels and am amazed at his story telling ability. He puts you into every location, feeling and attitude of all the characters.
Thank you Cap for any and all of us that live vicariously through your novels. Some, I'm sure, at this stage our lives like to think back in time of what we miss of the 'good old days'.
After reading your tales we hope and pray that there are some of your characters attitudes left in this current world.

Well, I’ve finished the 14th book of the series and what can I say, how can I explain to my fellow readers or future readers the ups and downs, the side to side and the loopy rides this books cover? Read the entire series, you’ll realize my astonishment as I read each book in the series. FULL OF ACTION, we’ll laid out, some romance, lots of back stabbing, etc… you’ll be hooked!

Cap doesn't disappoint
Another tense fast action romp for Chase and the team. New team member(s), new equipment, surprises at every turn. Although land bound, what does it matter to Chase if he's piloting a boat, a plane, or an old beat up pickup? We still get the expected thrills and skills we've come to expect from Cap Daniels! I found myself holding my breath a bit during the last few chapters. It came pretty close this time. And... Who's not as they're believed to be?

Loved It!
I'm a tremendous fan of Cap Daniels writing and the characters he delivers, especially Chase Fulton and his team! Almost obviously I've read ALL his books and have liked or loved every single one, this one is almost at the top! Keep up the good work Mr. Daniels, you make many readers very appreciative and happy! What an engaging, interesting storyline with never a dull moment!

Another brilliant story
Another story by a wonderful storyteller! I always learn so much in each of your books. While I love each character I find myself being thankful that Chase has Singer in his life. (We all need a Singer in our life)! Thank you for another story that pinned me to my seat and continued pouring food for thought into my brain as I read. I do so look forward to each book. Hard to put down.
I,like a lot of you have read the whole series. This one was hard to not read in one sitting. The two separate plots that turned into one plot was brilliant. The Callaway character,I think I was more relieved that he would turn on the team at some point, knowing I would be right, no matter how Cap wrote him in as a potential good guy. Great character. Just another great read. Looking forward to #15. Just keep pounding them out, Cap.

Chase and his merry band of warriors travel from the sub tropical area of the Southeastern U.S. to the Cowboy Country North West, to check on a fellow team's infiltration by a mole. Oh yeah, and maybe rescue the daughter of a former President from a whacko cult, while they're on sight. This may be one of the best "plot twisters" Cap has written so far! Hang on for a wild ride!

Daniels Delivers Again
I love love love this series.. explosive from the beginning to the end its rates up there among one of my favs! The story grabs hold of you and doesn’t let go. Pulse pounding action with these most loved, characters and you know Chase and his crew are kickin ass and taking names. Couldn’t put down.

Another fine story by Cap Daniels.
Novel after Novel you can see the story’s getting better. The writing is becoming much better. Not to say it was ever bad.
I read the first novel within days of being released and have followed each and every one when they are released.
Everyone should read these novels, you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding Land Locked Adventure
Cap great book.
I'm blessed to be born and raised in a small town in Idaho. We lived by a famous ski resort and close to huge primitive national wilderness area. We visited Yellowstone often and Glacier National Park.

Another well developed thrilling adventure!!!! Cap doesn't need to worry about me being mad at Mongo, Ideally never liked Anya!! I was glad when she spin off to her own series!!!! Taught and nonstop action adventure and throw in some humor. This is another rollicking read with Chase Fulton and his tier one operating team coming to the rescue. Cap Daniels started out great and just gets better and better! I'm in for all future missions!

We finally get another fantastic adventure from Chase, Hunter, Singer, Clark, Mongo (Cliff Clavin) and Disco. The Chase Fulton series is a fandamtastic read from the first book through to this one.

Beautifully done
You can't release your books fast enough. I found Cap Daniels after many books were out and I binged on them. Now that I'm caught up I can't get enough. I keep watching the percentage marker as i read and think "no, don't end book".

Really great series for anyone who has served and is patriotic.
I have read every book in the series and as a patriot and veteran, I enjoy the story of each as well as the pride I get from knowing there are lots of fella’s out there just like the ones on Chase team.

An adrenaline rush

Another Great Adventure
This another series with very enjoyable characters, relationships and storylines. This is a little different in that it takes the crew out of their normal environment and shows their adaptability. Very good, keep ‘em coming!
