Annika and Banks are two people who shouldn't work together but absolutely do.
Twilight chosen is the first book in the City Wolves series. Banks tries to ignore his mate and that doesn't seem to work well for him. A definite must read.

Annika and Banks were great characters you couldn't help but fall in love with.. This story was fun , exciting, suspenseful and of course HOT... looking forward to reading Navy's story..

I love reading the story of Annika and Banks. Annika is a real estate agent in her family's company. She is a dedicated and hardworking person who knows how to get business done. Until her stepdad decides to sell her grandmother's home, she intends to protect it for it was the given to her as an inheritance. Banks is the CEO of the Amana Industries and handles the different business of the family. As an alpha and a businessman, he has no time to entertain the idea of finding a mate as he is a busy person and prefers to live a quiet life. However, How he does not want a mate but the way how he cares for Annika says a lot. Suddenly, Annika witnessed a murder that endangers her and throws her life in a much more complicated mess. Their banter is highly entertaining and I like how they are comfortable around each other. Banks is a gentleman and treats Annika with respect and the attraction between them intensifies as they live on his family estate alone. Without knowing it, Annika manages to capture his feelings as they spent a blissful night around each other. The intimate scenes were so hot and you can really see how perfect they are for each other. The character development is great and I love how his perceptive about mates changed and he was not so strict about it. I love how they have an amazing relationship and they have a nice HEA ending.

A simply wonderful start to a new chapter, a new series that you will be hooked by
This is a wonderful start to the new series; I had been very much looking forward to this and was not disappointed it was everything I could have asked for and more. Banks is quite a character strong in attitude and nature and his fear of chaos and his need for control and structured decisions.
His wolf is a very determined individual and he despises the way in which humans are caged by their fear and their constant need to control everything that happens around them and when the tiny female comes in to his life and turns it on its head. Annika is a feisty, opinionated and brings a different aspect into his life and he soon realises that he has come to care about her a great deal.
This was a wonderful first book in this series and it was a great example of how two total opposite characters and personalities can help, support and grow together and in the past Annika has been used and taken advantage of and Banks is determined that this will never happen again.
This is a wonderful read and very different, the love and the happiness between the two is easy to see and wonderful to read.
I assure that you will enjoy this book and look forward to future books in this series.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

This is another fantastic book by Milly Taiden.
With the new retirement of his father, Banks Amara is not only the Alpha of the wolf pack, but he is now the CEO of his family company. He likes control of all aspects of his life, and the chaos of his family, siblings and sister’s children sends him racing for the quiet of his own home and work.
Annika Sharp dislikes her stepfather. Dislikes strongly. In fact she hates the way he manipulated his way into a position into her late father’s real estate company, and her mother’s life. She is determined to take back control of the company. She meets Banks when her stepfather tries to sell her father’s house without her permission.
Banks recognises her as his mate, but struggles to decide if he is able to accept the changes that will come with a mate and possible children. When Annika witnesses a murder and needs protection, he takes control to protect his mate, and possibly convince her to be his mate.
There is action, romance, hot sexy scenes, fun dialogue, real characters, real family dynamics, and a very enjoyable story.

He may be the alpha and should find his mate but that wasn't where he was headed. He made their business highly successful while others benefited from his efforts. Meeting his mate wasn't what the books would call a meet-cute. Not at all. That didn't change the pull they both felt.
Danger draws them even closer and while he protects her their need for each other grows. Will they find their future while she remains safe or will his ways make it impossible?
The author always gives a life lesson through her story. It is never preachy but a lesson to help make life the best it can be. Annika's lesson to Banks will make his life better and give them a chance for a future. Readers can benefit as well.
There aren't many characters other than the couple, the bad guys, and a few extras. The steam is hot hot hot. The story a good start to the series. The author does it again. Thanks.

Milly, Milly Milly. another amazing story with amazing characters.
Well talk about stuffed shirt oh this sexy alpha is all business and control, he revels in everything in his life being in an organized box. Boy meets Girl. Talk about energy our would-be hot upcoming business exec, born to take over the family business all up until a stepfather comes into play of course she detests him right from jump street. Stepdaddy=manipulation at its finest.
She doesn't have time for a mate she's got to back control of her family business, her house was almost sold right from under her. Planning and watching was a full-time job in itself. The Alpha - a mate equals chaos and noise he wasn't sure he wanted to deal with, he was not a creature of change.
Milly's newest comes with it all, characters full of personality, a couple of plots going on. A bit of danger and some hero stuff slipped in some heat and made it a story. Enjoy.

Certainly not a crazy, screeching human who crys all over his tie and shows her every emotion constantly! Ha! His wolf disagrees, he despises being caged by his human's need for control and welcomes the human hurricane known as Annika, a feisty spitfire who is everything Bank's needs but didn't know he wanted!
A great introduction to both the series and the Amana pack, I read this on Kindle Unlimited and look forward to book two: Dusk Bitten which is out on 1st October.

This is Banks and Annika's story. Annika is an ambitious young woman. Banks is an alpha wolf. When their paths cross when Annika's stepfather makes an underhanded business deal. Banks is faced with a dilemma. Banks was floored when he met his mate. Danger draws them even closer and while he protects her. Their need for each other grows. Will they find their future while she remains safe or will his ways make it impossible? The story was a quick yet enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to the brothers stories. This is an amazing shifter fated mates story. Banks doesn’t want a mate and fights the pull, but when his mate is in deadly trouble, his protective instincts take a front seat and his reluctance is thrown out the window. When Annika finds out about shifters and mates, she thinks Banks is crazy and that she is too for what she has seen, aside from witnessing a murder. Watching Banks shift into his wolf form is too much to process. But she eventually finds herself falling for her hunk of burning wolf. Definitely worth a read. I’m already on to the next chapter of this trilogy!!

Book 1 in a new series by Milly Taiden. And this one shifters try and ignore Fate mates and was never quite works out for them. I do love Milly Taiden As a paranormal writer my favourite is the PDA series with Geri Wilder.
As always she does a fabulous job writing romance like she does absolute love of books they’re definitely go to pre-order for me and she does have quite a lot of series to choose from I would personally start with PDA It’s what I started with and it’s amazing even with it being Book 30 something still fresh and great.

I can’t wait to read more of the these brothers. Banks was adorable with his need to control the chaos around his life. I am a huge fan of when the animal speaks to the human side of them. I loved how Annika asked him honestly about how he would handle his own kids and how she gave him ‘rules to follow like 3 hours of work then he has to set it aside. I love how open he was to all her suggestions and I LOVE how the Shifters will do anything to protect their mates.

Milly Taiden brings what can only be described as a fabulous exciting start to a new series in the shifter world. Banks who desires control in every element of his life meets Annika who is like a mini tornado in his organised world. She may bring drama but she is everything he did not know was missing from his life. The moment where he struggles with the care of his nephew and she steps in to help to the date from hell were classic moments that had me laughing hard. Well done to Milly Taiden to bringing a fabulous exciting new read to the kindle world.

A wonderful start to a new series that will have you hooked to beginning to end. I will admit that I'm not one to read a contemporary type setting book however I liked the fact that both Annika and Banks had interesting back stories. Overall a fantastic read with an amazing storyline. So looking forward to the new book in this series. Twilight chosen, the first book in the City Wolves, Banks and Annika are a great combo for a new series. I love the contemporary setting, the two characters who both have interesting back stories and the drama! Millie hit it out of the park with this new series. I hope you love it as much as I did. Twilight Chosen is an enchanting tale of opposites getting what they need which isn’t exactly what they thought it was but oh do they delight in what they get. Annika is taken advantage of by those who were to protect her but it hasn’t jaded her. Banks was raised in a big boisterous home filled with love but all he wants is quiet. Banks and Annika shouldn’t work but they do. So very well. This is a sweet and sexy escape. I loved it.

This was a really great story! Full of intrigue and betrayal. Banks was a workaholic who freaked out about chaos until Annika showed him how to make boundaries. He was actually very sweet! They were a very sweet and funny couple! I loved the family dynamic! This was a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to read about the brothers! Highly recommend!

A first in a new series that's off to s fantastic start. Annika and Banks reel you in with their story. It'll take you for a wild ride with all kinds of twists and turns. As everything unfolds an even bigger piece of the puzzle begins to take shape until it all comes together with an ending that'll surprise you. This is a fantastic story with an amazing storyline. Definitely enjoyed reading and can't wait for more of this series.

This was a lot of fun. Banks is used to his narrow, restrictive way of living and doing business. Then he meets his mate, who is all abiut developing healthy boundaries. A match made in heaven.
I loved how these two interacted. This is a great introduction to the series. So far my favorite character is Emmy. She's a trip.

Two halves of a whole. I absolutely loved this mating..it wasn't just a fall into one another we're mated boom. They actually took the time to get to know one another even after they became intimate. They learned not to change but how to work as a true pair flaws and all. Totally clinche but they completed each other ;) Can't wait to read the next book.

This was a sexy and yet funny read. Watching Banks and Annika deal with life, family and even phobia issues was incredible and yet.....more. I can't wait to see what happens with the rest of the Amana brothers.

This is a not so classic opposite's attract story lol when you involve shifters all bets are off. Annika and Banks are amazing together. I loved the idea of these two together it just made so much sense while they may think they are incredibly different they both want the same things. This was a great way to start a new series and I cannot wait to see where Ms. Taiden goes with this series.
