EEEP!!! A THIRD INSTALLMENT TO MY FAVORITE BOOK? How did I miss this??? *worries it might not live up to the first one* Will that stop me from finding a copy and reading it pronto? ...Probably not XD.
It's such a good series! Well written, interesting, inspiring. I enjoyed coming to know the characters and seeing their interactions with others as they aged. It illustrates the ripple effects of good people and choices. It's a good vs evil story about heroes and honor but also about character building in individuals.
I read the first book, Medallion, many years ago. In this second book, Trave is all grown up, King of Gadalla, and has children of his own. This story is a coming-of-age story for his daughter and son, in the midst of kingdoms, alliances, and treachery.
Both books are suitable for an upper elementary student, especially one who is enamored with kings or princesses!
Thanks, Netgalley and publisher for the opportunity to read and review! Quite an enjoyable fairytale with two royal siblings. A brother and sister. The book is the second in a trilogy and I loved seeing the kids grow while facing dangers and trying to find each other.
