I rarely considered the how or why I was the man I was, academically exceptional, strikingly attractive, and born into British privilege.

Talk about self-awareness 😗

Oh, I soooo love Ms. Brandon's books:
The anti-Heroes a reader just should NOT hope reaches a HEA, but we do.
The strong heroines who always manage to give the anti-H a run for their money, just not in the way either one (or the reader) expects.
INTENSE, wild, mesmerizing plots that grab a reader by the throat & heart, that effortlessly fling us emotionally from one end of the spectrum to the other until we are as exhausted, confused & sated as the heroines.

IMO, Ms. Brandon is a GODDESS of wonderous reads that are deliciously depraved & dark, kinky non-stop INTENSE thrill rides that swoop the reader up into the crazy worlds, warped societies & carnal rollercoasters she creates. Where her uber complex & multi-layered characters enthrall, mesmerize &, dare I say, enchant her captive readers.

This one, 'Doctored' is no exception.
Oscar (aka The Mad Hatter & physician for the 'Men of Honor') is unrepentantly determined to 'enjoy', 'torment', 'punish & pleasure' the woman (Alice) Chase Benedict 'gave' Oscar to play with.
Alice (aka Oscar's ~plaything~) has a spine of steel & a will to match. But Oscar's devilish & dark demands on her body unleash her unrealized & intense libido, causing a deeply confusing conflict that ping pongs her from an agonizing need to escape to desperate desires that ignite her lust & back again.
But both Oscar & Alice just may have bitten off more than either one realizes, & it just may place both of them & the Men of Honor in deadly & irreversible danger . . . .

This one was a non-stop & breathless thrill ride of a read for me.
Ms. Brandon's plot & scenes, the overall story arc as well as her characters made this a one sitting straight through heart pounding read I could NOT put it down. I HAD to know what would come next, what would happen to Oscar, Alice & their relationship.
I found myself intensely wrapped up & invested in Oscar & Alice (his Little Rabbit), despite his being a bad man working in a dark criminal organization & seemingly irredeemable as well as with Alice who was relentlessly & bravely fighting not only Oscar but her OWN exploding desires.

An excellent, deft & skilled piece of writing that, IMO, explores society's concepts of right & wrong vs the desires & needs within ourselves; that unflinchingly peels away the concepts of clearly delineated boundaries to expose the truths (no matter how dark, selfish or twisted) that just may lie beneath.

For the reader who wants to be challenged, thrilled, shocked, enthralled, entranced: Read this one.
For the reader who wants superb writing that swirls you away into another world that's dark, deliciously twisted, delightfully carnal, that leaves you breathless in the BEST way: Read this one.

Seriously, read this one.

I absolutely enjoyed reading Doctored the latest installment in Felicity Brandon’s A Cambridge Men of Honor series. It’s storyline is following after the prequel Chasing the White Rabbit. It goes into what happens to Alice and Oscar and the wild ride down the rabbit hole they go into. All the twists and turns this storyline goes into will keep you excited and equally turned on. I felt Oscar had finally met his match in Alice and I can not wait to see what will happen to them next. Will they finally admit their love for each other?

This was intense in a way you have no idea what's going to happen. Alice is just whoa you go girl I couldn't believe it and yet I feel bad for Oscar I can't help it I love him.
This is a dark twisted story and I loved getting more of these two. Very strong characters and dialogue you become addicted to that has your heart racing.

Alice and the Mad Hatter are still together, and she's still trying to get away. She's going to do whatever it takes, no matter what. It doesn't matter if she's becoming addicted to what he's doing to her, and she likes it. She keeps telling herself that she doesn't and that she needs to get away.

I like Alice, and I think that her stubborn streak is going to help her out, at least sometimes. I also think she is a little blind at times. There are things that I think that she misses, or that maybe she's picking up on them but not realizing them.

Oscar is interesting. I think that he is definitely oblivious about certain things. It's going to be interesting to watch what happens.

Wonderful Mafia story

This the third book in this series, but it does a pretty fine job of standing on its own, me I think you should read the series from the beginning as I have, but it is not required and I think that is a good thing. These books are very absorbing and they don't end with a cliffhanger and I have been really enjoying each book. I am sure that you will like this book if you like a good Mafia story with Bondage and some spanking.

I loved reading this fascinating dark romance as Alice and Oscar develop their captivating romantic journey which is full of lots of emotions, hot chemistry and many twists and turns. A great addition to the Cambridge Men Of Honor series. Well worth reading this well written tale. This is my honest opinion.

Curiouser and Curiouser. Will She or Won't She.
The lines have been drawn and now the battle begins.
Oscar and Alice definitely amp up the steam and I can't wait to see how it finishes for them all!

Alice and Mr. Hatton have the most complex dynamic of the Men of Honor. She does not fit into a neat little box, and their physical reactions to each other light the pages on fire. Alice has a mind of her own that she cannot reconcile with how Mr. Hatton, sir, treats her. It is a wonderful conundrum.

I read and reviewed a copy of this book.

I often feel like I’m repeating myself when I review Felicity Brandon’s books. I mean, how many times, in how many different ways, can you heartily recommend interesting and well written stories, filled with fascinating characters and great plots? Well, maybe I just did…

Doctored is the story of Oscar and Alice. Oscar is the resident doctor of the Men of Honour, a criminal enterprise, and Alice is an MI5 agent, working undercover to bring down the organization. Alice is certainly no doormat and Oscar is by no means a beta male. Their physical and emotional chemistry are very strong and it’s this attraction that is a major problem for both of them. And from the way the book ended, this issue has not really been resolved. It left me wondering what was going to come next.

The book is a fun read. I enjoyed every page. But this is the usual with this author. She always delivers an entertaining read. If you like dark romance, Felicity Brandon should be on your list of authors to read. Highly recommended.

This is the story of Oscar and Alice. Alice loves her time with Oscar but realised she needs to leave. She is an MI5 agent and needs to report back. She knocks Oscar out by using a chair then grabs his coat and runs. When she reaches the ground floor the receptionist spots her and sends all the security up to a conference room then shows Alice the back way out and tells her to run. Alice gets away and borrows a phone to call for a pick up. Gabriel who was like a father to her quickly appears and gets her in his car. Alice has a debriefing where they keep asking the same question over and over again. Alice misses Oscar and gets his phone number and starts texting him they agree to meet. I’m not going to spoil the rest only to say this is a must read. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given

Once again, Ms. Brandon took me to that little place in my brain where the dark stories go! Lol Alice worked for the government but was busted by Oscar and his men. Now she's his prisoner. And while that has some perks, it has more disadvantages. And honestly, I can't say a whole lot because you know...spoilers. All I'll say is you don't wanna miss this one. It will take you through all the emotions you can think of.

JFC this book is terrible. Neither MC actually has any personality. He: hot, rich, criminal doctor. She: boring, MI5 agent who everyone wants to fuck. That’s literally it.

And she’s stupid—she is being held captive by this guy and thinks poorly of herself for doing what is needed to escape him. “That was callous even for an MI5 agent.” Whaaaat?

Also, if you’re kidnapped and your captor asks if it’s okay to fuck you and you say yes? THAT IS NOT CONSENT.

And if you go back to him because damn he tortured you and you thought you liked it? You’re a damn idiot.

Christ. This book was so awful but I kept reading, just in case. I thought once she found her power, or whatever, it was going to improve, but nope.

Like, you know he is part of a human trafficking ring and that he and his crime buddies all have to kidnap women to screw and these moronic men think they have RELATIONSHIPS. I kid you not.

Curiouser and curiouser? More like stupider and stupider. If I could give this less than one star, I would.

Some quotes:
“My heart rate sped up at his jeopardy. I knew the threat all too well—so why wasn’t I running? Why was I inching even closer to the mastermind of the menace?” Why ARE you incing even closer to the mastermind of the menace? (What?!)

“I rarely considered the how or why I was the man I was, academically exceptional, strikingly attractive, and born into British privilege. I also had an unusual fetish for hats, a fact I exploited at every opportunity.” Okie dokie, bruh.

He throws her onto the passenger seat of his Lamborghini and she takes off her skirt. He “freed his erection” and said, “there’s just one more thing we need to make this perfect.” (Sort of Columbo-esque? Lol) “Climbing onto the seat between her splayed legs, I hit the button, watching as her chair tilted back beneath her.” <—That was it, that was what was going to make their car sex perfect, her seat tilting back in a fancy car. A tilted seat is what everyone needs for sex perfection. No foreplay, no condom. Nope. Just that sexy talk about that last little thing.

Not even joking, here is what follows:
“Giggling playfully, she smiled as I pinioned her against the ALMOST HORIZONTAL SEAT.” (Screaming caps are mine.) Please, let this torture end.
Then, “I pushed her silk panties to one side, finding her entrance as though I already knew the way.”
Well, you did fuck her for at least a month, but maybe weren’t paying attention then?

This story is a continuation of Chasing the White Rabbit, which is the prequel to this series. It dives right back in to the insanity of The Men of Honor and the battle between Oscar and Alice. I suggest you read these books in order, starting with the prequel, because the stories almost happen simultaneously after the prequel and there are things that you won't have a deep understanding of if you just jump in anywhere.
The intensity starts on page one of this book and it doesn't let up. It's crazy sexy and dark, but just like most of Ms. Brandon's books it's captivating and delicious. She has a way of making me fall in love with the bad boys, and no one does bad boys like she does. They are barely redeemable and I spent a lot of this book battling with my emotions in the same way Alice does. I know that falling for Oscar would be a very bad idea, but I feel addicted and fear that I won't ever be able to break free from my habit. I'm not going to say more because you really need to dive in to understand the gritty, sexy, emotional, intense story that is the relationship between these two, but it's a must read if you are a lover of the dark.

What a wonderful book, absolutely riveting read you’ll thoroughly enjoy
I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this wonderful book and as I do not want to divulge the plot and spoil it for other readers but will say that you’ll love every single moment.
Alice had come into his life and he had been left him feeling as though his world has been rocked off its axis, she had come into his world and had changed him in ways he had not even expected and yet now that he has had a taste, she is in his blood like an addictive drug and he has come to crave every single bit of her.
Noa Alice has disappeared and he knows that he is not willing to live life without her, in fact if he was honest, he knows that he could not live without her and is determined that he will find her no matter where she is.
I do not want to dive away this the third book in this wonderful read and so will simply say that once you begin reading you will find it impossible to put down until you discover the outcome.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Finally the book I’ve been waiting for since the prequel came out! We finally get to see how Alice and the mad hatter are getting along in their “relationship”. Alice is the strong heroine I love to read about and Oscar hatton is the perfect anti hero. I really enjoyed this book and while it doesn’t end on a cliff hanger I don’t feel Ike their story is finished. The ending felt a little rushed and almost forced to give them an HEA. I would love to see another book or even novella that gives them a proper ending and ties up some very obvious lose ends that aren’t really addressed by the end. I hope to see more of Alice and hatton in the next book. They are by far my favorite couple in this series so far.

How can Alice, a fully trained MI5 agent, find herself captured by Oscar within a group called the Cambridge Men of Honor? How can she despise her punishments and yet secretly find her body responding? Can Alice find a way to escape? What will happen if she does? How will Oscar feel if he loses her?

If Alice manages to elude recapture, will she resume her MI5 position? Will she find a way to return to Oscar and complete her original assignment? How will Oscar react to her well-defined needs and desires? Will Alice and Oscar find a way to compromise their attitudes and their necessities to find a way that will gratify them both?

When we first met Alice and the Mad Hatter in Chasing the White Rabbit, Alice found herself trapped by the Men of Honor. I was anxious to find out what happened to her and Oscar.

Now we find Alice still trapped by Oscar Hatton, and fighting the growing chemistry and attraction between them. She's supposed to be bringing down The Men of Honor, not falling for one of them. Even when fate is on her side and she has the chance to escape the clutches of the Mad Hatter, her mind is telling her one thing but her heart is screaming at her to return.

What will happen between these two who seem so unlikely to be together?

We start the book with a sexy scene - finding Alice trapped yet sated in Oscar’s bed. If you’ve read the previous books, you know how she ended up in this predicament. But either way, get ready for a wild ride. Ms. Brandon knows how to write a strong hero who is both drawn to the anti-Hero but also can see them for who they are and has almost violent negative feeling against them (which is very different from many other books where the h just ends up falling for the H regardless). Alice is very strong and determined, but so is Oscar. This is a Felicity Brandon book, so it is intense, sexy, twisty, and there is a lot of story. A delicious read!

I love reading Oscar and Alice in Chasing the White Rabbit. And now in Doctored we get more of them Alice has so much to face with the responsibility and the feelings she has for Oscar she sure it’s against the wall with no escape and a difficult decision to make. Love every single moment of their story and I hope we get more of this men of honor.

Really enjoying this series

Doctored is Oscar "The Mad Hatter" and Alice's story. This book is every bit as good as the ones before it. I really liked Alice's character, she's no slouch and can easily look after herself. Hopefully we get to find out in the future whether Alice does bring down The Men of Honour.

We get the final story for the doctor and the agent from the prequel. I was so happy to get their final story and that they found a way to make it all work... for real. It took her getting the upper hand on him and escaping for her to realize what she really felt for him. This was probably my favorite so far in the series.

For all these are structurally flawed (plot holes), I am fascinated by this series. Mostly because I am hoping that the abducted women will join forces and take down these alpha-holes.
