"…an intense and chilling tale that will grab a hold of you from the start and take you on an emotional roller coaster ride like one you may never have been on before. The characters are all so well drawn and the storyline so captivating that you are going to have trouble putting it down." Amazon Review

" Mama Marion says I wouldn't have the sight if God didn't intend for me to do good with it. I just wish God didn't feel I needed to see this." Emmy age 16

Her visions started when she was a child. Between a childhood where abuse was the norm and visions of death, her life has been far from normal.

It’s been a decade since her vision led police to another victim of the Low Country Killer, long enough that Emmy has convinced herself that the secrets of the past should be forgotten, or at least kept locked away. Letting them out into the open can only cause pain and they've all had enough of that. So, she convinces herself that that horrible chapter in the life of her family is over, and the monsters who once walked Holly Isle are gone forever.

Then out of the blue, on the anniversary of her husband’s death, she has another vision of a young woman’s body in the marsh. If that wasn’t troubling enough, Nash, the boy she loved her entire life, the one who left and broke her heart, is back.

Are the two events connected? Emmy won’t accept that, no matter who tries to connect the events. She knows Nash isn’t capable of that kind of barbarism. However, there are others who are and she fears those monsters may have decided it is time to bring their dark hungers back to Holly Isle.

5 Small Secret Stars🌟

Wow, what a complicated yet intriguing story❣️It reminded me of a closet full of skeletons and as each skeleton is piled on top of the other…the door to the closet eventually opens until every skeleton is revealed when they fall free of the closet😳 However, each secret revealed is NOT SMALL and has you thinking what’s next.

A good, twisted read with psychic elements which I loved and should not be missed🤩 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

This is an incredibly intense and darkly twisted ride into the mind and memories of Emmy, a woman who had the unfortunate ability to get visions of murders that occurred in her hometown of Holly Isle over a decade ago committed by an individual known as the Low Country Killer and that she believed was in her past where they needed to stay...that is, until she starts to have visions of a new body in Holly Isle. Too bad the killer does not feel the same way about her and her memories! To say that this book will pull you in, spin you around, and then spit you back out after the most emotionally draining thought process imaginable is putting it mildly, to say the least! Ciana Stone has once again been able to craft a reading experience that only gradually reveals the clues and pervasive nature that has become insinuated within the community until the ending will grab you by the throat and leave you realizing that true evil most certainly does exist and can manifest itself anywhere! I would liken this book to Stephen King or Dean Koontz at their very best while also displaying the depth of courage and love that Ms. Stone is uniquely capable of drawing forth to give her books that essential humaneness that allows for a happy ending as well. She continues to amaze me with her talent and originality as an author with every book that she writes!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Don’t let the title fool you. There is absolutely nothing small about these secrets. They are intense and, at times, surprising. It’s not hard to keep up, but there is a lot going on in this story. From the very beginning with the Prologue, you start asking questions and trying to figure out the answers. Trust me all the secrets will eventually be revealed, and some may just blow your mind. If you’re tempted to read ahead, I strongly caution you not to. It will ruin the overall effect, and you really need to process all the secrets as they come.

This is an intense and chilling tale that will grab a hold of you from the start and take you on an emotional roller coaster ride like one you may never have been on before. The characters are all so well drawn and the storyline so captivating that you are going to have trouble putting it down. There are moments that will bring you joy and moments that will bring you sorrow, often tugging hard at your heartstrings. The underlying evil that seems to permeate throughout the pages will make your skin crawl and make you fearful for the story’s outcome. But I’m not going to give it away because this is one you need to read for yourself.

Emmy is special and she grabs our attention right away. Oh and her childhood is not good though either. The things we can convince ourselves is quite astonishing too as Emmy has. On a anniversary though she has a vision of a woman in the marsh so it is not quite over I said as reading. Then there is Nash whom is another character that will catch our attention and not let go. This has dark mysteries and doesn't let us go as it unfolds not like we want to be anyway. This is one that most certainly turn the pages you will to see what exactly are those secrets.

WOW! Not what I expected… so much more! A small coastal town where everyone should know everyone else’s secrets, but no. I read this story over several days and ended up getting up early so I could find out what was going to happen next before my day got moving. Suspense, unexpected twists and intrigue woven together with several love stories. What a fabulous page turner! Outstanding writing!

Heart Stopping!

It grabbed me from the beginning and that was it. The secrets and lies and terrible things that happened to the characters…. Omg it was so much! I couldn’t put it down. It’s crazy, but it tears you up inside as the story is told. You have to read this one!!!!
