I am loving this Guardian series and everyone in their world. We get a glimpse into the world of these men and woman and the behind the scenes work that goes into the job and their mission.
Jinx and Wolfe have such amazing chemistry. Jinx is smart, sassy, so unafraid of her sexuality and will always go after what she wants. Wolfe has be enthralled with Jinx since their first meeting but this couple has been dancing around one another for months. I loved watching them navigate this workplace attraction and still do a dam good job getting the work done!

Wolfe and Jinx

This is another installment of the Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists. If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. The attraction between them is immediate and mind blowing, to say the least. Jinx has abandonment issues and Wolfe has never been interested in a relationship... until now. He wants it all with her. The question is, can he break down the walls she has built around her heart to protect herself? The intricate dance of back and forth between them will leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. Sorry, no spoilers. Another great read by Ellie Masters, Jinx and Wolfe......all I can say is WOW!. The chemistry these two have is off the charts, but they don't want to give into it. This book gave an inside look at what the Guardians do before going on a mission, the grunt work, intel. You will not be disappointed reading this book, I highly recommend it.

This is book six in The Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialist Series and it is Jinx and Wolfe's story and omg it definitely is a must read. Jinx is now working for The Guardian's after leaving the DEA and as she is also a cryptologist she is now helping Mitzy to decipher the ledger that was taken from Benefield's estate as they have found out that six girls are going to be taken and they need to stop it but will they be in time or too late, Jinx can also take care of herself with all the training skills that she has and she will never be second best to anyone. Wolfe use to be an intelligence officer in the navy before going to work for The Guardian's so he has a lot of skill sets so now he is helping Jinx break the rest of the codes in the ledger. Jinx and Wolfe are constantly bickering and need to sort out there differences to make there working environment easier. The connection and chemistry between Jinx and Wolfe strong, intense and got that when they are near each other the air is sizzling and you can feel it coming of the pages of the book and the more time they spend together the stronger there feelings for each other grows so strong but will they ever get to act on it. Wolfe has never wanted a relationship before he met Jinx and he now knows that she is the only one and perfect for him. Jinx has abandonment issues and only allows a few people to get close to her and her walls are so high that it will take a very special person to break them down but what she feels for Wolfe is throwing her organised life into chaos. What will the outcome be for Jinx and Wolfe only time will tell if they get a chance of a happy ending. Ellie Masters is an amazing author and writer and her books have so much depth to them that you feel like you are there with them going through everything and they are so addictive and I couldn't put this book down and definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by Ellie and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Ellie Masters takes the Guardians deeper into the world of sex trafficking with Rescuing Jinx. While the other stories were full of action as the Guardians spent most of their time on missions to save the rescuees, in Rescuing Jinx we see the Guardians at home working their magic, preparing for a mission, as they are laser-focused on uncovering more kingpins and unraveling the mysterious code from the ledger of Tomas Benefield.

Rescuing Jinx is book number five in this series. It is a series best read in order to fully grasp this world and all that the Guardians stand for. Wolfe and Jinx are a little bit like fire and oil; they ignite each other, in more ways than one, and are fully suited for each other. When we last saw this couple, in Rescuing Lily, the chemistry and electricity between them was intense, but something wasn’t quite right! Jinx is feisty and can handle herself. Wolfe can’t help but want her back, and he’ll stop at nothing to figure out why she hates him so much. Abandonment is felt deep within Jinx, and Wolfe has his work cut out for him to prove he is the man to stand by her side forever.

Wolfe and Jinx work together on this mission deciphering the code of the ledger. Ellie Masters has spun a marvelous tale pulling pieces together ever so cleverly. She teases the reader and shocks them with equal measure. While Jinx and Wolfe battle against themselves with their own special connection, they come together as a team when it matters most to free the next set of missing girls.

The series is almost over; we are getting closer to uncovering the mystery men who we can’t wait to see receive the justice they deserve. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for all the loose ends to be delivered and most of all, I can’t wait to see Liam be the last Guardian to fall – in love that is!

I couldn’t wait for this book given how the last book left off and what a crashing start it was, leading to some of the hottest scenes in this series I thought.

Misunderstandings, misapprehensions and misgivings all are blown through on the way to revealing the best book of this series so far.

Jinx and Wolfe are just H.O.T. and despite a moratorium being placed on “fun” times till later in the book, this story is nevertheless on fire all the way through with chemistry so incendiary you’ll need to keep a fire blanket handy!

The story focuses very much on their relationship, such as it is, and how it develops over the course of the book with a plethora of missteps by both Wolfe and Jinx making this much more intersting and distracting from the lower level intensity on the guardian tasks than we have previously seen. Never fear though as this comes in spades towards the end of the book and nicely sets up the next story which will hopefully see playboy Liam meet his match.

I loved all the characters in this book and thought the focus more on Mitzy was great as she is quite an understated character in these books, yet is so pivotal. I liked Jinx’s separate interactions with her and thought it brought her skills and character more to life.

Definitely one to read though best as part of the series as there is an underlying storyline (that’s still not closed out!!) and references to earlier happenings that will seem odd if you read out of order

Another gripping, gritty story oozing with raw sensuality!
We’re back in the top secret world of the Guardians .
This is book 6 in this high octane series and while it could be read as a standalone, reading the books in order does help understand the bigger back story. Additionally the subtle spoilers revealed make more sense.
That said his installment takes a different approach. The mission here is to crack the secrets between Jinx and Wolfe.
She’s come on board as a cryptologist to help Mitzy break the highly cryptic codes from a ledger recovered in the Benefield estate. This is a huge undertaking as it will reveal all in this horrific works of human trafficking.
Wolfe is also involved in helping to break the codes.
More importantly we try to break the cryptic codes of who Wolfe and Jinx are and why they can’t stand each other despite their smoldering attraction to each other. Both are highly intense, private and super independent! Their slow burn chemistry made for one fun wild ride. Their snarky banter brought comic relief as the intensity of this behind the scenes mission starts unfolding.
When Jinx and Wolfe finally make certain discoveries…well you’ll have to read and find out!
Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Ellie has done it yet again, delivering un unexpected yet brilliant action packed book, which is so damn hot you will get burnt just picking it up. Just when you think you have it home and dried on what will happen, so Ellie chucks a huge curve ball in and keeps you on the edge of your seat. This time its Jinx and Wolfe's story, two firey characters who have the most flamable chemistry that I have ever seen. But, all that heat is left to simmer, and boil and boy does it boil when Jinx breaks the code, which leads the Guardians closer to shutting down the sex traffiking ring that kidnaps and sells women into sexual slavery and some to a tortuous death.

Right from the start you can feel the connection between Jinx and Wolfe, soft and fluffy it is not. Its more like a simmering volcano just waiting to erupt. Until they meet, both Jinx and Wolfe are your "one night stand" have a bit of fun, scratch the itch but hey I dont do exchanging numbers types. Both find the attraction they have to each other a challenge, both are dealing with feelings they never had before. Jinx more so than Wolfe, trys to deny those feelings and in the process drives Wolfe mad. These two can fight and have massive arguments which adds more fuel to that volcano.

I cannot wait for the next one !!

OMG, Rescuing Jinx is explosive with white hot chemistry between Jinx and Wolfe. It's more suspense than action yet the action will have you on the edge of your seat. It's gritty, raw and deeply emotional too. It's utterly mesmerizing. It's the best Guardian HRS book yet--but then I've said that about every one of them. Ellie Masters really hits the mark every time!

Wolfe surprised me (in all the best ways.) He wasn't your normal sex-on-a-stick, Alpha, highly trained, six pack totin' SEAL. He had an added skillset that definitely upped the interest factor exponentially. Jinx's level of expertise and off the charts intelligence was awesome. Not to mention she's one kicka$$ operative. Couple that with an "I'm the girl who goes after what I want and gets it" attitude and wowza! No wonder Wolfe wanted her to be his. It's not an easy road to their relationship though. Rather it takes a true battle of wills, both physical and mental and neither Wolfe nor Jinx can get out of their own way most of the time. But when all is said and done, they finally get it right and there's a definite HEA on the horizon.

Our couple have a mission and the right skills to get it done. However, they also have a history that adds a bit of a complication. Can they put aside their past to get the job done? And what happens after that?

This is part of a series (don't ask me which number as I have lost track), but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required.

This is a romantic suspense story pure and simple. Of course, nothing is ever pure and simple now, is it? The story is very well written and easy to read with well developed and very likable characters. Both our hero and heroine are well developed and good at their jobs. Their history is a thorn in the side, but then that adds some spice to things as well. We do get plenty of action, so the story moves along at a good pace, as well as the occasional much needed steam. Overall, another great entry in the series and I look forward to more from this author.

Rescuing Jinx was another nail biting suspenseful story in the Guardian Hostage Rescue series. 

This book is Wolfe and Jinx's story and I've been looking forward to seeing these two get closer, they had such a strong physical attraction I knew they'd be dynamite when they finally got together. 

Jinx really struggles to let Wolfe get close after a down n dirty moment between them caused her insecurities to creep in. Jinx turns that into anger towards Wolfe to protect herself. 

I loved all the se×ual tension between them, it was exhilarating. I wanted to scream at them both, but I loved all the dirty innuendos and witty verbal sparring between them. 

I really like the flow of this series, even though each book focuses on the romance between each couple the stories are still heavily focused on the rescue of girls taken for human trafficking. With each book the Guardians are getting closer to catching those at the top and bringing them down and I can't wait to see what happens next.

So this Guardian HRS story is different from the others, but the mission is the same. Jinx (female, not a male), is a force to be reckoned with. She may just be more than Wolfe can handle! Jinx and Wolfe left us wanting more at the end of Rescuing Lily and the intensity between them was in full swing from paragraph one of Rescuing Jinx! This story is so full of activity, emotions, work, play! I loved that Jinx is what we call a "kick a** woman", but true to the title, eventually she needed rescued, but why and how? Wolfe? He's no push over! Jinx and Wolfe together? Combustible!
The entire Guardian HRS were awe-inspiring to watch in their elements. The analytical research, the planning, the brawn, the execution! (I love the amount of research that this author puts into her stories!) I've so loved this series! Each book may be read as a stand-a-lone, but it's awesome how each book flows from one to the next. AND NOW, I'm needing the next story, Rescuing Maria!

The Guardians are back with Wolfe's and Jinx's story and it is HOT! First, a misunderstanding has them fighting their attraction for each other and then Jinx's insecurities kick in and keep them apart longer than necessary. Just goes to show that even the strongest people can have a weak spot! Even though I wanted to shake her a time or two, I also like that all the characters in the books have flaws, which make them more believable. The background to their romance is a continuation of the previous books - finding and destroying the organization behind the human trafficking ring. There are some truly unexpected twists and turns that kept me on the edge and forced me - lol - to read the book in one go into the wee hours of the morning. The ending is a genious way of introducing the next heroine in the series - Maria. I can't wait to read her story!

Fast, furious & feisty romantic thriller. I Loved this story in Ellie Masters’ ‘Guardians’ series. It’s the first one I’ve read of this set, and will definitely be checking out the ‘back catalogue’! It starts with a steamy situation already developing between Jinx & Wolfe and then evolves into them spending much of the book circling each other. You find yourself drawn into their sexual chemistry knowing full well that their path to an HEA will not be smooth or easy. I enjoyed the fact that whilst Wolfe is a true alpha – Jinx’s character keeps pace with him, more than holding her own. If you want a gentle, sweet romance this isn’t for you; it’s definitely up my street, though. I really like to read a good thriller with a sexy romance alongside it and Ellie Masters’ writing ticks all the boxes. If your reading tastes reflect mine, definitely check this out!

Brilliant book!! So good!
Wolfe is part of the Guardians and newly employed Jinx is part of the tech team.
Girls are being abducted and their team are working to get them back.
I absolutely loved Jinx and Wolfe. He was so alpha who just had it for Jinx so bad. She was stubborn and had issues and didn't like to give in, especially not to Wolfe. These two had communication issues even though they could read each other like a book. Their chemistry was just explosive.
This story had so many layers with dynamics that were complicated at times. I adored the team mentality, and how they all looked out for each other. They really did that. Even the girls in the team did also.
Very well written, the characters all built the story and added extra depth. Absolutely fantastic!!

We are back with another story in the Guardian Hostage Rescue series. A group made up of men former military individuals determined to rescue those in need.
This time the story belongs to Navy SEAL Wolfe and cryptologist, Jinx.
They are both strong characters. One doesn’t want to be placed second in life, the other one is determined to save Jinx from herself and make her realize he’s the one for her.
The story is action packed from beginning to end with a great deal of chemistry between two unlikely individuals.
As with the rest of the stories in the series, this one is a stand alone. That said, you will enrich your experience by reading the previous stories. All engaging and entertaining.

Jinx and Wolfe Explode off the Page!!

Jinx is ex-DEA, excels at Capoeira fighting, and is working with the Guardians to decode critical information on where still-missing girls can be found. Wolfe is trying to figure out why after one “interlude” Jinx is giving him the cold shoulder.

These two start as oil and water, but end up having much in common. Working together is easier when they have cleared the air.

The entire team which we know from the prior stories are still here, working their magic to bring down those taking girls. Brains and brawn are necessary for this mission. Amazing journey and white hot relationship.

He name may be Jinx but she is anything but to him

Rescuing Jinx is the sixth book in the Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists series and it is another thrilling and smokin' hot addition to the series. This story is about Jinx and Wolfe and one wild, suspenseful and action packed ride. Right from the start you are pulled into the highly charged world of the Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists and you are kept on the edge of your seat and ready to overheat all the way to the end. As with the other books there is an overarching story-line of a group of women who are kidnapped by and the men who save them and then protect them. Each book centers on one couple and can be read as a standalone action romance but I would suggest they be read in order.

The latest Intel

Jinx is one of the newest members to the Guardians. She now needs to decide if she wants hands on in the field or working behind the scenes decoding the latest Intel. As she begins working on the newest case along side Mitzy, her choice becomes more clear. Of course then there is Wolfe and all the mystery of the Alpha team Guardian. Since they met in New Orleans, the sizzle is undeniable, but relationships is not Jinx's strong suit. As the current case unfolds, so does some of the mystery of Wolfe and their time together proves to be a lot of different Intel which turns out to help with the current case.

This book is another must-read. This Guardian series has been amazing and leaves you wanting to know more of what these characters are all about.

This is one series where i think you really need to read the entire series and in order as there is an underlying thread throughout In this latest addition we get Jinx's story we met her in previous books when she was a member of the DEA but now she has left them and is a member of the Guardian family

JInx is a cryptographer and she is trying to decipher the ledger that was taken from Benefield's estate Wolfe ex navy Seal and a new member of the team is supposed to be helping her but these two just bicker at one another constantly Can they stop fighting long enough to do their job and is there more to their fighting Can they keep fighting their attraction to one another will they give in to their desire You will have to read to see

Reading Ellie Masters’ books is a bit like reconnecting with beloved family. Not only do we get the new story, but we get to visit with old friends, like Noodles and the shark, and, of course, Forest. This was one of the most emotional of the Guardian HRS books for me. We get insight into Jinx’s thoughts, her insecurities, and her dynamic with Wolfe is awesome to watch. There is no shortage of tension in this book; we’re never 100% sure of what’s going to happen (thanks for that, Ellie!), and the shocks do keep coming – I mean, that’s one anticipative ending. This is definitely a not-to-be-missed book, and I don’t want to add a spoiler, but – have a stiff drink handy!

Oh my goodness! The chemistry between Jinx and Wolfe is next level!! What starts of a huge flirtation and a case of no communication leads to something so new and special between these two. Feisty, insecure, strong and with walls so high, Jinx is a smart woman and Wolfe does something to her. They can not keep away from each other. Wolfe wants it all with her and he's not about to let her go. Fast paced, emotional, gripping. A fantastic read!

This is the next installment in the Rescuing Series and I think it's the best so far - Maybe --- they are all fantastic. One more to go!!! Ellie has the knack for building all things up and up and up. Not only the tension between the hero and heroine --- but the story behind them is ramping up BIG TIME!!!! When an author can make you want to get in to the fray and start helping to knock some heads together --- you know it's a winner of a story. And Ellie hits the mark with this installment in so many ways!!!! I can't wait for the next installment. Jinx and Wolfe are so good together in this story. Love them together!!!!! Great read Ellie!!!!!

Ellie Masters has delivered a fast-paced, action packed, edge of your seat, romantic suspense read with Rescuing Jinx, the next book in the Guardian HRS series. Both Jinx and Wolfe are strong characters that don't like to take a back seat in any situation. So to watch them battle, literally and figuratively, each other for that 'driver's seat' is as intriguing as the story line of their team needing to rescue more victims. This author has built a world that has you diving right in with the captivating real life story lines and the alphas that are there to save the day with their strong females bringing the alphas to their knees. I love how each book is focused on one couple but the rest of the team is right there so close in the background that we get to learn more about them with every story. I can't wait for the next book!

We met these two in Rescuing Lily and they were combustable. There is a lot of miscommunication and there were times I wanted to shake both of them and tell them to talk and listen to each other. But I like how these stories in the series have evolved and include strong kick butt women. Great HEA and good set up for many more stories to come.

This was a suspenseful, romantic , coworker read. Jinx and Wolff both work for the Guardians and are assigned together on a mission. Both want control of the mission and each other but are not giving I I I the sexual tension. Fast paced rd action story that will have you on the edge with the suspense and the sexual tension. This is a stand alone but best read in order as thi gs are mentioned fro. Previous books. Makes more sense.

This is The Guardian Hostage Rescue series love story for Jinx and Wolfe. This one is just so funny with danger mixed in. I loved the explosions between these two and how they seemed to hate one another but where dyeing to have the other one. I loved the way this book holds your attention and makes you feel the emotions in the pages. Great reading.

Wow!! Wolfe and Jinx had the most amazing chemistry I thought Knox and Lily had heat but Wolfe and Jinx took it to the next level. This was another amazing series, I love the Guardians. Great to see them all in the book along with Mitzy and Forrest. Rufus and Liam were hilarious. This had intrigue, suspense and heat so all in all a perfect book. I can’t wait for more in the exceptional series.

Can you hear me screaming no! That was me as I finished Rescuing Jinx. I did not want this book to end it was so good. I wanted more. I loved the developing relationship between Wolfe and Jinx. My favorite character though was Maria. I am so excited to learn she is getting her own book. I can’t wait.
