Beautiful.
Beautiful book, stunning paintings and great information about the rocks (I have never referred to myself as a stone collector and now I am proud of this!).
Personally I would have find it helpful for the pebbles to be cross referenced in some way by appearance too, so you could look through the examples and search for the name of your treasure by colour, but I love this little book!

A lovely, informative little book, beautifully illustrated (I could put most of the illustrations on a wall in my house), and with a nice conversational style of text. Inspirational to the point that I can't wait to get onto some of my local beaches and add to my own little collection of these objects of natural beauty.

Even though I enjoyed this book/notebook but the a-z guide is for the United Kingdom. I know these pebbles can probably be found in multiple locations so the tips will be very helpful when rock collecting. The only problem is that I read the ebook so many of the artwork is missing.

Enjoyable, easy read for a beginner. I'm looking forward to identifying some of my stone collection, and taking the book with me to the beach.
