I really enjoy this book. I use current tense as I'm not certain I'll ever be "finished" with it in the conventional sense. This is a workbook for writers - Sandra Wickham has essentially created a workout primer for writers, many of whom (such as myself) have struggled to maintain the intensity, energy and creative passion simply required to put pen to paper in a meaningful, deliberate manner.

Will this book appeal to every reader? Likely not. There is a certain level of assumptive skill sets which the reader should have in order to get the most benefit out of the pages. Come to think of it, the actual word "reader" is not 100% correct in the context of this work, as it implies a bit too much passivity; when I engage in the exercises, writing prompts and similar elements in "Feel Write Again" I am an active practitioner.

For such a slim book, it definitely punches above its weight. As a writer, whether you seek inspiration, support, ideas or discipline, this workbook will help - if you allow it to and put in the necessary work. At the end of the day, no matter how inspired you are at the moment, nothing matters until the first word appears on page one. These exercises will greatly increase the odds of that happening if you let it.
