Owen is getting old. Grey hairs are appearing where once there were none. Oh, and he has a penchant for murdering much younger women. Much. Younger. He’s got a neat little body disposal route and everything. When he meets Emma, gets her nice and wasted and begins his routine, everything goes wrong.
Grossly and disgustingly wrong.
Now he’s stuck with a ghost. Or a demon. Or possibly a figment of his imagination. But whatever it is, it’s being a nuisance. It wants him to kill. It wants to have sex with him. It’s all very confusing.
Full of murder, sex, cheap wine, and shopping trollies, Flesh and Pleasure is an extreme horror novella with some tremendously nauseating acts in it. Painted with the blackest of humour, it’s not for everyone. Consider this a trigger warning for just about everything.
Well this was awesome I was surprised by the lack of gore in this one but I dug the story and there was a little bit of dark humor in this as well. What else can I say its Ash Ericmore if ya know ya know and if you don't know you better fix that because you are missing out on some awesome shit. all around solid read. 4.5stars for me and now I guess I will read part 2 of this one.
I never get tired of Ash's depravity. This was another brilliant little read filled with dark humour and gore. My black soul smiles with each new Ericmore book.
I like Ash's stuff.... The Sick F*ck books were tight! Flesh and Pleasure #1 was great!!! Different type of story for me not as murderous as the Sick F*ck books . The ending is rough (if your a man) and one of the best I've read in a while lololol
Full of twists and turns that are impossible to figure out. Has a bunch of stuff you knew you'd want, and some you didn't know you needed. I love this authors style and flow. I haven't read a bad one yet. Could there be such a thing? Highly recommend!
It was great, a bit too short. I really wanted more detail about the main character life before becoming who he was. I felt like everything was too fast.
Ash can do no wrong, in my eyes, and this short read was fantastic, mixed in with a little bit of dark humour, which is ‘textbook Ash’.....something he does so bloody well!!
Not as gory as his other books, though it had its moments. But all in all, it was a ton of fun, and I’m definitely looking forward to reading Book 2 🖤
This is my first time reading Ash Ericmore. I picked one with extreme in the subtitle. The blurb lured me in. I quote 'Full of murder, sex, cheap wine, and shopping trollies, Flesh and Pleasure is an extreme horror novella with some tremendously nauseating acts in it. Painted with the blackest of humour, it’s not for everyone. Consider this a trigger warning for just about everything.' A trigger warning for everything? Yes. Sign me up. Guess what? It was pretty tame. The story was still okay, a bit too wordy in parts that weren't pertinent, but an okay read overall
Owen wants to know why this chick's still there. Does she need cab fair? A kiss on the cheek? Little does he know - she is going nowhere anytime soon. See... Emma has decided that Owen's unfinished business is to be her Unfinished Business. Emma won't be going 'toward the light' until Owen...ahem...takes care of business... She won't go until he cums!
This was another another fully enjoyable book by this author. It's twisted sickening characters really draw you into their world. Each as sick as the other in different ways. Loved Emma she brings the story into a whole New direction that is equally compelling. All in all a great little read, another I would recommend.
Owen is getting old, but through those he selects at the seediest of nightclubs, he gets to ‘capture’ his youth and relive his first time. Until he meets Emma - older than his usual pick up, and she’s in no hurry to go anywhere. She can wait until he finishes what he started.
Trademark dark humour and dark thoughts throughout, an awesome read and I need to dive immediately into book 2 !
Well damn! Short but sweet. So this story is about a sadistic serial killer, who hangs out at clubs (an older “sophisticated” man) seeking out young (like practically underage young) to bring home and then torture until one night, he finds a more “refined” chick who happens to dabble (understatement) in the occult (which clearly is what brings her back right away as a ghost to haunt this guy and mind fuck this guy). Well, let’s just say that revenge is served on a very cold, icy cold 🥶 and beautiful platter. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and there is a second part to this which I will for sure be reading. Also, someone commented that this isn’t gory enough and that person must be a huge splatterpunk fan. Because for me, I appreciate a good story rather than most of the story being torture (and don’t get me wrong I love gore but not unnecessary gore) I clenched and cringed in all the wrong (right) places and it was bloody and NASTY enough for me.
“I am neither one thing nor the other. I belong to the bête noire. My lover is Mephistopheles. Bequeathed to him since I announced my intention …” her voice lowered to a whisper, “… as the kinky cultist whore I am.”
Owen was a cruel man who was forever tormented by sickening thoughts of young girls in sexual scenarios. Captivated by their innocent and bodies, the younger they were on the spectrum, the higher the thrill of snuffing out their Lives. Picking them up from the local clubs, he tried to replicate something he lost; His first girl Zoe and The baby that cost her his life. One night as he was preppimy himself for the hunt, stumbled upon 29 year old Emma, somebody far from his typical prey. Older and more experienced, he didn’t intend to kill this one. It wasn’t until her teasing about his lack of sexual intentions that set him over the edge.
At the beginning I Thought this book will be another non sense silly book, and at the end I’m not wrong. But I confess that somehow was catching me, maybe because is short and maybe because my brain was not working at all.
Anyway, let’s go to the second part, cannot be worst than this one.
A depraved man who likes to hurt girls, but one of his victims turns the tables. Interesting take on the kidnap/torture genre. The only gripe I have is that I found his reason behind his crusade a bit weak. Also would have liked more background on Emma.
