The best of the series so far!
Having zipped through Nyctophilia and Caligo, I expected no less of a fun ride with this installment. Lucky for me, I was pleasantly surprised to like it even more than the first two. More action, more questions answered but I totally did not expect the ending. So looking forward to the next book!

I was extremely lucky enough to received an advanced copy of Nighted by Torri and I cannot be more thankful.
I’ve been following Torri’s work from Nyctophillia and with every new piece I become more and more invested. I adore the progression Torri has created between each of her instalments in her Darkling Series. How she manages to create a flow which is neither rushed nor slow but absolutely perfect and continues to surprise, I will never know.
As much as I love the overarching story within the Darkling series I adore her characters even more. When we first met Ava she was shy and not aware of her own inner strength, over each book but especially within Nighted we get to see her own her strength and not shy away from it or dampen it for other people. That paired with her romance with Jasper is just absolutely superb. Their dynamic, connection and spice is everything.
If you haven’t read Nighted yet, what are you waiting for?? It has everything you want and absolutely need!

Um. Okay! So first, wow. This was a cover-to-cover read for me. I cannot get enough of Ava and Jasper. There was a high steam level, and everything I've grown to love about these characters was in full effect in NIghted. Ava's sarcasm and strength stood out so well, and Jasper was both panty and heart-melting. This was easily my favorite book in the series so far, and I seriously need more!!!

Slight spoiler ahead.
This is definitely my favorite of the series so far, hands down. This novella was fast paced, spicy, and still packed a punch. The relationship between Ava and Jasper is growing in the best way possible. Their love for one another will never get old.
And can we talk about that marking!! Frigging HOT!!!!
***Spoiler*** but I have to give Torri credit where credit is due.
"Keep your eyes open. I want you to see me fall in love you with you all over again." SWOON!!! Who doesn't want their man to say something like that to them?!?!?! Quite possibly the best line I've ever read in a book and if you know Jasper and Ava...it's perfection.
