Poppy’s wacky-wicked coven has destined her to be this generation’s good witch. An act necessary for them to spend eternity on All Hallowed Eve’s Island – heaven for the magical. Problem is, Poppy has zero desire to be the sacrificial good witch. And despite being sent to Wicked Anonymous three times a week to curb her love of a good caper, she still loves to hex. After a frustrating W.A. meeting, she has one margarita too many and is lured into a Deal with the Devil. He’ll help her escape her New York coven and relocate to the accepting small town of Knotty, MO. Things are fabulous until the devil calls in his IOU. To pay him, she must square off with an annoying man she recently banished from her haunted coffee shop.
Devlon Carter Thorn, NY Times Best Selling Author of Paranormal Thrillers, once, at a low point in his life, asked the Devil for a heart that could never love again. He got that plus a personality women can’t resist. While vacationing in Knotty, MO, Devlon discovers it’s time to pay the Devil his due. What the Devil demands pits him against the town’s self-proclaimed wicked witch. She's the grumpiest woman he's ever met and completely immune to his devilish charms.
Forget playing fair when your eternal ever-after is on the line.
This is a Cute Fantasy/Magical Realism Romance, and this is the third book in the Singles Town series. This book is not the normal Witch books I have read before, and I would say this book was not what I was thinking it would be. I really loved this book, and it pulled me in right away. This book has characters like no other book I have read before. The characters where fun to follow, and they also kept you on your toes. I also enjoyed that their was several different non human characters like Ghosts, Witches, and so on. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher or author (Lisa Wells) via Booksiren, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
The small town of Knotty has a fair bit of interesting characters and Poppy the wicked witch definitely qualifies. She’s a wicked witch with a pink aura of good that enjoys doing naughty things way too much. The town has a way of uncovering the true intent hidden inside a person and perhaps Poppy will meet her match. I’ve truly enjoyed this series!! If you’re looking for a fun, easy read with some whacky, if not slightly obnoxious ghosts, some good witches who think their bad, and sexy romance, this is a great book for you. This is book three in the series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. These have been my go-to books/series for when I need a light read that will make me smile and laugh.
Poppy is a witch who was born with a pink aura in an Italian-American family, or coven. She is assigned the role of Good Witch, to be the savior of her wicked witch coven. It is not a role that she would have asked for, nor one that she really wants to fulfill. She regularly has to attend Wicked Anonymous meetings to try to curb her wicked witch desires and uses of her power. In order to escape her family's overbearing vigilance to prevent her from giving in to her wicked heritage, Poppy makes a deal with a very attractive man with a French accent. She moves from her family's mansion in Manhattan to a small town called Knotty. There she opens a coffee shop and makes new friends -both ones living, and those who reside in the second veil. But she still has to figure out how she is going to complete her half of the deal.
Cup of Spirits was an enjoyable story that was easy to pick up and read in spare moments between appointments and tasks of everyday life. A paranormal drama and romance that for me seemed to start sort of slowly, but finished in a whirlwind. I think I might have enjoyed it more if I had read the previous two books first. However, I enjoyed and appreciated the diversion from the busyness and stress of the day-to-day.

I’m pretty new to this genre, and decided to read this before Halloween for fun. I enjoy fantasy books, and started into romance through some of them. This book seemed lighthearted with a twist of the fantastic, which it gave.
The characters were likable, and developed week for what the book is and for its length. There were a few characters that were brought in for some added drama, like Devlon’s editor, and those. Ones were mildly distracting, which was actually pleasant in giving a few red herrings regarding the main plot point.
While I haven’t read the other Single’s Town books, this one was written well enough to stand alone, but has some room to expand out beyond the story here. There are other characters and background that could make some good stories, and there are always chances to branch out with other characters,
This was a good read, with a bit of spice, and a fun way to get ready for Halloween.

Poppy Romano is from a wicked witch coven, but born with a pink aura she is their designated good witch. A position Poppy very much resents. She wants to be wicked. One night she strikes a deal with the devil and gets a chance to move away from the family.
She thought the deal was just in jest, until the devil calls in his IOU. But her end of the bargain sounds simple enough: keep two ghosts from leaving her shop.
But the devil loves to make deals and call in his IOUs. He's also made a deal with author Devlon Thorne and his task is to get the two ghosts out of Poppy's shop.
When they find out they have been pitted against eachother Poppy and Devlon decide to join forces and see if they can outwit the devil.
This story is the third in the series about Single Town, and there are many recuring characters. The book can be read as a stand-alone.
WOW!! CUP OF SPIRITS by Lisa Wells had me laughing out loud and then shutting my mouth the next minute!!! Loved Every moment page after page while devouring it in ONE Sitting!! Yes!! One Sitting!! Trust Me.....YOU WILL NOT WANT TO PUT IT DOWN ONCE YOU START!!! Lisa Wells is New Author for me and She BLEW ME AWAY with Poppy & Devlon aka Carter's Storytelling from the Very Start! But I was very Intrigued with the Other characters in the Book wanting to know their Story's since this is the 3rd Installment of the SINGLE TOWN Series. Poppy had me giggling out loud with her hysterical sarcasm towards Devlon when "trying" to charm her with his "french" overnight accent. The whole Town of Knotty, MO put the "icing on the cake" throughout this Magical Epic Book! Then comes in Lucifer to throw in some chaos....The Devil Went Down To Knotty...... I CANNOT WAIT TO read more from Ms. Wells.
Really fun characters in a great setting. Poppy has a life stacked against her from the start when she's labeled as the good witch who is supposed to rescue her family of wicked witches. She wants to be bad like everyone else, it seems like so much more fun, but she's not allowed. Devlon was just a regular heartbroken guy when he happens across the devil. When Lucifer pits these two against each other with a couple of IOUs he calls in things really get interesting and heat up! Although this is the third book in the series it was my first by Lisa Wells, I'll be reading the others as soon as I can get my hands on them. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book was okay. It definitely has all the right elements, an epic dilemma, a strong heroine, even a few visits from Lucifer himself. There are a lot of situations where the main characters are pushed together, trying to create intimacy, physical attraction, etc. The problem is for me they all fell short. I didn't feel the attraction and I didn't feel invested in them or their story. There were also scenes which were confusing and didn't add much to the story. The book does pick up and it does end beautifully, rapping up the series reasonably well. Having read the whole series, I'm glad I read it but it wasn't as good as the first two books. Book 3 in Well's Single Town series. A fun, well written paranormal romance/ cozy mystery read that is sure to please! While this is book 3, it can be read as a stand alone although there are characters from previous reads you get glimpses of. In this read, our main characters are a broken hearted, love jaded Devlon and a misunderstood, manipulated by family, wicked witch Polly. Noth f9nd themselves with IOU's to the devil and being pitted against each other work together in hopes to dash his devious plans. All with laugh, ghosts, mysteries, steamy chemistry. romance and a HEA you're going to love. I can't wait for more!

Sometimes, what we think is the best for us when we achieve it turns out not to be in our favor. Poppy realized that too late. The wicked pink witch had been duped and it was not only she in danger. In denial most of the time, Devon had to struggle to keep up with Poppy and deal with what was happening to them. Funny characters and amusing situations that made me laugh with the ghosts, witches and the evil plan of the devil. This town is full of quirky characters and unexpected situations that keep the nosy neighborhood and the witches busy. Third book of the interesting, entertaining and fun Singles Town series. I voluntarily reviewed this copy that I received free of BookSirens.
I giggled so much reading this book! Poppy was hysterical with her determination not to be a good witch. Devlon with his accent and swagger.... made me laugh every time Poppy shot him down. But, it was the Mayhem Ghosts that had me rolling!! The whole town of Knotty was wonderful. The way Poppy devised to save the town from the Devil in the future was genius. I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book from the author via Bookfunnel which I am voluntarily reviewing. I also purchased a copy because I HAVE to purchase the other two books in the series now!
I can't say enough good things about this series. It's interesting with quirky characters and an engaging community of spitfire oldsters called the 21, the paranormal aspects are perfection, I just love this series!! There was one little boo boo but if you're not from NY you probably wouldn't get it but it doesn't take anything away from the story. I hope this series goes on for a long time. It's a privilege to review for such a talented author.

Ok, so after reading the first books in this series, I had high hopes for this one. I'm glad to say the author definitely filled those hopes. I like seeing the other characters from the other books but still being pulled into the story and life of the new book and it's main characters. The author pull you in and makes you wish you were really a part of Knotty. Can't wait for more adventures from this special and magical town.

Poppy moved to Knotty to get away from her family and their expectations - but to do that, she had inadvertantly made a deal with the devil.
Carter had had his heart broken - and he too made a deal wit the devil so that he didnt have to go through that pain again. But when he also goes to Knotty, and meets Poppy, everything changes - and the devil calls in his IOUs - absolutely loved this story!
Another enjoyable book set in Knotty. I really like the reappearance of previous main characters and the always funny elderly ladies that appear in all the books. The protagonists in this one were different than the previous and enjoyable. I like that each book in the series deepens the fantasy elements and we learn more about how the world works. Looking forward to Beth's happy ending next!

Like the last two books by Lisa Wells, I highly enjoyed the story of Revlon and Poppy. Like the other two couples, they worked well together seamlessly. Even went into more of the Mayhem ghosts backstory, and how everything is connected threw all three books. Can't wait to read the next book, hope it as good as the past three.

This series just keeps getting funnier and funnier. Lisa Wells definitely has a hysterical, magical hit series here. Her imagination is wonderful and Poppy has been my favorite character to date. It was just to fun to even put down. A true page turner. If you want to read something that will make you laugh out loud, is fun and cheeky then this is for you. It can be read as a stand alone but the whole series is fantastic and highly recommended.
I adored reading this book, the characters are just what I have come to expect in this series. Fun, quirky and adorable. Poppy had me laughing so much, especially when she wasn't putting up with Devlon's devil given charm. The stuff that the Mayhem ghosts got up to just made the book so much fun. Not to mention everyone else from the previous books, I loved the spell club! Yet another amazing book!
I received a free copy of this book through BookSirens and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Poppy is part of a large family of wicked witches, unfortunately she was designated as the good witch. So she makes a deal with the devil and moves to Knotty. Devlon had his heart broken and in a drunken moment made a deal with the devil. These two come together in Knotty when the devil wants his IOU paid. This series is so much fun, there are lots of laughs in this book. The characters are so enjoyable and this third book is as well done as the first two. I am loving this series.
Challenges and Changes are in the wind. A funny, feel good book. Third in the series, back to a town you know with a few familiar characters tossed in. Pincushion was a cute newbie, the returning character I want to see more of is Ruby Red. There is a big decision about leaving town which I didn't quite agree with. You'll have to read the book to find out who.

This book is just as good as the first two in this series and I can’t wait to read the next one. Full of laughs, mystery, and fun loving ghosts can Poppy save herself and the man she falls in love with? Romance is in the air and even the Devil can’t stem the tide. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Witches, Ghost, and talking pets and don’t forget soulmates. Poppy and Devlon, two strangers. Both made a deal with the devil, found each other in a small Halloween town…what would you do if the devil comes and claim your IOU? Cup of Spirit is a perfect book to read this spooky season. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Once I received this book I thought it was a great book and I read it from the very beginning to the very end. I thought both the story line and character built up was a great joh by this author and I think it made the story a great read for me and that's my opinion. I received this book for free thru an Advanced Review Copy, ARC, with an honest review freely given.
This story was fun. I have to agree with Poppy though. Devlon’s French accent and over the top flowery language were annoying and not at all what I would call seductive or attractive. I like the real him better. I would read a series about this town and it’s cooky characters.
I didn’t realize that this was narrated by virtual voice when I bought it! I kept thinking that the narrator was off putting, but tried to get into the story anyway. I was three quarters in when I looked it up- and there it was. I finished anyway. Anyhoo- if it was narrated by an actual person, I think I would have liked it better. Otherwise it’s a soulless read that kind of ruins it.
This is the sweetest, paranormal hijinks romance. The characters couldn't be more lovable and hilarious. A new take on watch what you wish for. Loved the ride even with the bittersweet tears.
I have read the whole series and really enjoyed them all! The main female characters are full of depth and quirkiness. I loved the whole witch/ghost part of the series. It’s a fun easy read and well written. I can’t wait to read more of her books!
Funny and original, with wonderfully quirky characters.. Love it! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
