Join the growing movement of health-conscious people who are saying “no thanks” to our culture’s obsession with alcohol and opting to “make it a mocktail” instead.
My sister very thoughtfully got me this for Christmas, as alcohol is a major migraine-trigger for me. I'm looking forward to making the Holiday Spritzer for NYE tonight :)
These recipes didn't connect with me as much as others I have seen. I've found other books more interesting involving NA beverages. This had a decent collection of ideas that were relatively common. I could also be biased and I could definitely see this being a good resource for someone just beginning their journey into the NA imbibing. Plenty of options for a variety of pallets.
Not all cocktails need to have alcohol in them and this book proves that. This book has some really great drink ideas for under 21 and non-alcohol drinkers alike. Including one of these drinks at any social gathering will be sure to be a game-changer. (Try the bee sting mock-a-rita, it is delicious!)
$5 on the kindle store for the month of October! Super impressed with the variety and simplicity of these recipes. Light on sugar. No recipe requires expensive, commercially made zero-proof spirits. All fruits and coconut water and spices and herbs and seltzer etc.
Fun book with lots of inspiring pictures. Quick & easy read from cover to cover. I also bought one for my daughter. She had tried many of the recipes and enjoyed them. There is lots of good information in the book both before and after the recipes.
This is a cute little alcohol-free cocktail book. I also like that it is vegan because I have always been kind of grossed out by putting egg whites in sours. I have a grocery list for the summer now!
I've made a handful of these recipes and found them to be flavorful and complex. These mocktails, unlike many others, don't just taste like juice or overly sweet!
I found this to have a good variety of non-alcoholic mocktails. We aren't going to try all of them, but that's usual with any cookbook. My partner likes the frozen mock-a-rita.
This book is fantastic! We have made 25 of the 75 recipes so far and have been really impressed with the taste, how easy and quick they are to make, how they don't use processed sugar, and even how pretty the drinks look once prepared. None of the recipes call for exotic ingredients, which I find a big plus -- it's easy for me to get anything I need at my regular grocery store or even from my garden. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for fun, tasty mocktails for any occasion!
