Military Men of Valor Book 9
A Curvy Younger Woman and Alpha Military Man Insta-love Romance

Abby
I couldn’t believe it. I was out of the job and evicted from my home.
It was just my luck, and now I didn’t know where to go.
My only viable option was to fly out and stay with my sister.
We weren’t super close, but she agreed to let me stay with her until I figured things out.
I got the first plane ticket that was available and left my old life behind.
The plane was full, and I wondered who would sit next to me.
I couldn’t believe my luck. The person that sat next to me was my brother-in-law’s best friend. Micah
He’s a super cute military guy that I’ve always had a thing for.
When he starts asking about my life, I’m faced with a dilemma.
Do I tell him the truth about my situation? Or lie so I don’t embarrass myself?

Micah
Abby was the last person I thought I would run into on my flight home.
She was just as cute as when we first met, but I still remembered the warning I got about her.
That she is a wild card.
We started talking, and it sounded like she had herself figured out.
Great job, great home, she didn’t sound like a wild card to me.
A dinner date with Abby, her sister, and my buddy, only strengthened our connection.
I finally worked up the courage to ask her on a date.
Things were going great. Until I found out the truth.
I wanted to be with her, but she needed to figure herself out, and I needed to get away.
So, I went back into combat.
She told me she would change, and I hoped she would.
I hoped I would make it back from the war, so that I could be with her. Forever.

Micah is in the military and is on his way for a break before his next deployment. Upon entering the plane he finds his seat and realizes that the passenger next to him is someone he knows. He remembers meeting her at his best friend's engagement celebration, she's the wayward step sister of his friend's fiancee. He found her cute and was interested in her; but his friend warned him about her, that she's irresponsible and has no clear plans for her life. He was going to ignore her but eventually starts a conversation with her. She tells him how perfect her life has become and how she has an awesome job and a very lovely house. He thinks she changed and likes this career driven girl in front of him. Of course she's lying through her teeth because she just lost her job and was evicted from her house which is why she's on the plane heading to her stepsister and her husband's for a place to crash while she figures it out. Her lies eventually come out and tough decisions have to be made. Will she get on a good path with her life and be able to mend the broken relationship with Micah? You'll have to read it to find out. It's a wonderful story about how life can drop you low but you always have the chance to overcome it and get another chance at romance. A truly heartfelt insta -love romance that makes you believe in granting second chances and that people can change for the better with proper motivation. Great story!

Micah and Abby . . .

Micah is coming home from the military, and Abby is flying to her sister’s home because she lost her job and evicted from her home. She and Micah ended up sitting next to each other on the plane. He had been warned by his friend that she had no clue what she was doing and needed to figure out her life. But when their conversation turned to what she was up to, she painted a rosy picture of perfection.

Later they went to dinner with her family and he asked her out on a date. When he found out she had lied to him, he gave her “the talk” which was probably the best thing she had ever heard, about being accountable and responsible for your future. Then he left for the military. Would she ever see him again? Could she work on her deficiencies and become the self-supporting, responsible adult she should be by now? And if he comes home again, would they maybe get a second chance to start an honest relationship?

Military Men of Valor book 9. When Micah sees Abby again he wonders if she's turned her life around. He's attracted to her but wants someone who has their act together. Abby wants Micah to like her so she lies about her situation. When Micah finds out the truth will he ever forgive her? Will they get a second chance? This is an interesting story. I'm not comfortable with the weight of disappointment Micah feels for Abby, even though that's the catalyst for her transformation. I'm glad that worked for her and is what she needed. This second chance, military man/younger woman, short, dual POV romance has intimate moments and a HEA.

I really enjoyed Micah and Abby's story by Sara Jones. After losing her job and her place to live, she goes to her sister's to regroup. She doesn't expect Micah, her brother-in-law's best friend to sit by her on the plane. They definitely have a connection but her dishonesty is a dealbreaker for Micah. He tells her to work on getting her life in order before jumping into a relationship. He could forgive her but he can't live the dishonesty. In an attempt at putting some distance between them, Micah accepts a dangerous mission overseas. What will happen when and if he comes back? Will they get their second chance?

Micah and Abby's story is one of trust and honesty. After Abby's life take a wrong turn, she is to embarrassed to tell the truth. Micah was happy that Abby seemed to get her life in order, but when truth came out he wanted no part.

This is a good story and a fast read. Abby's sister a bit harsh at time, but I understand. Abby is strong a decides to turn things around. Micah even though he left Abby he still could not stop thinking about her.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Abby is going through a rough patch and compounds it by lying to Micah who she really likes. While Micah returns her feelings, he won't be involved with someone who lies. Six months later, Abby has taken Micah's words to heart and got her life in order. This time they can start the relationship that they both want.

ONE INTENSE READ!!! Whoa! Fast and furious is definitely the way to go. Yep, talk about falling hard. I do not even know where to begin. I thought the last book was fantastic. Again, this is an unexpected delight in itself. I know, I cannot make up my mind. So, choose them all. You cannot go wrong here, trust me on that. This is a page-turner, smooth flowing wild ride with all the thrills and explosions you can handle.
