The grammar is horrible! The people who were in more than just their book, their story didn't stay the same. For instance: because of the car accident Rachel is not able to have children. Yet in one of the later books, she is pregnant! In another story, Callie is pregnant with two months to go and in the next book, not only is she not pregnant, they have a surrogate with two weeks left before the baby is born! Otherwise, I really loved all five of brother's stories but be consistent with the characters and please use the spellchecker and grammar help that word programs have available!
This is an amazing collection of stories that will draw you into each character's world. The family is really strong together with their bonds and it makes you relate even more to what's going on with them. Once I started this book I got lost in the collection until I was at the end. The author knows how to bring the reader in and keep their attention. This is a well written and very entertaining book. I would recommend this book to any book lover. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
Stories were all enjoyable but I had issues with all the typos left in this boxed set. I am a wordsmith by trade and I really hate that there were so many typos left in all but the last book here. I also struggled with all the characters becoming "first person" on the same page without reference as to which character was speaking, especially when there were more than one character in a paragraph. Otherwise the story lines were good and the characters were pretty well developed. As is usual for this genre, the endings felt a bit "rushed". The last book in the set (Logan and Heidi's story) was the best of the bunch.
Good stories Great family values created a group of fine men. I found the endings to be a bit abrupt and inconsistent character development. Callie goes from being pregnant to having a surrogate to adoption and Rachel who cant have children is suddenly pregnant. Author and editor need to pay more attention to story development, grammar and typos. Its the small details that become glaringly evident in a boxed set especially
Loved this series and each brother! So happy with each HEA! Spoiler alert, disappointed with some story lines getting crossed or changed from one story to another. One not able to have children in one book then pregnant in another while one who was pregnant in one book, then couldn't have children in another. I feel this could have been a case of bad editing!
The name of the series grabbed my attention because it’s the same as mine. lol Each of the brothers is lovable and sexy. The love they have for their women is heartwarming! But I do need to say that I’m disappointed by some continuity issues and unexplained things. Rachel couldn’t have children yet was pregnant in a later book. Callie was pregnant but in the next book was using a surrogate and in the NEXT book had adopted. That really infuriated me. When we got to Tucker, there was no mention of what happened between him and Amanda even though there was a scene in Shelly’s which her family owned. He was just all of a sudden in love with Libby, whom we had never heard of. He was never engaged to Sara. They dated. Tons of spelling errors were noted. The bones of the stories were great. But editing needed to do a better job with spellcheck/grammar and maintaining continuity and a through line.
What a great box set that will give you hours of reading pleasure. Included are the following five full-length books Cowboy Keller, Sergeant Keller, Gamer Keller, Lawyer Keller and Hot Keller. Each book features a different brother and they all have different careers. Their one bond is the family ranch which holds all their hearts. The characters are great and it won't take you long to fall in love with these gorgeous brothers. The story lines are entertaining and emotional at times. Grab a comfortable spot and start reading about the Keller men and the women who steal their hearts. All books have a happily ever after and no cliffhanger. I read a free advance reader copy via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to review it.
Boxset of full length stories. For a new author (to me), Emily Stewart has given this reader the wonderful box set, Keller Brothers, to dive into and get lost in. The Brothers might have the same parents but as adults their tastes and interests are as varied as their career paths and the women they fall in love with. None of them have it easy reaching that HEA but what would the fun in that be if they didn’t. I’m certainly recommending this set and dare you to pick just one brother or couple that’s your favorite. Betcha can’t! PEACE. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story given to me by Bad Boy Update.
The Keller brothers seem to have it all. Money, looks, and add being from Texas they are true Southern Gentlemen just trying to find their other half. All of them have to overcome real life events and trauma either in themselves or their possible soulmate. If you want a true love story with realistic life then this series is for you. From Daniel, Tucker, George, Logan and Jackson they are all on their own path from being a Rancher, Lawyer, Soldier, Activist/Photographer or hacker they will all make you want to shake them and their women. Laugh out loud or bring in the tissues.
This is the prefect box set for a long weekend! There are five books that can be read alone, but they have the family in common throughout. I was sucked in by Cowboy Keller! Workaholic Daniel has no time for women, until Rachel shows up for the internship at the ranch. She wants to prove she is worthy of being there while fighting the chemistry they both know is there. This has the right amount of drama, pain, guilt and the simmering attraction they can't deny. Great intro to the series! I received this ARC from bad Boy Updates.
Great read, a few mistakes here and there, people's names changed but what confused me more than anything when I got to book 4 I think it was can't remember but as it turns out Callie and George have adopted a baby and Rachel is pregnant, but in the first book (Rachel & Daniel) she'd been in an horrendous car accident and couldn't have children and there was no mention of Callie not being able to have children in her book! But apart from that I really enjoyed these books and look forward to reading more from Emily Stewart.
I would love to give a better review for this series but the author and editor dropped the ball. In the first book the angst between Danny and Rachel was because she couldn’t have children. In 2nd or 3rd book Callie was heavily pregnant with George’s baby yet in next book they adopted stating Callie couldn’t have children than in final book Rachel was pregnant. Also Callie’s dog went from being a slinky spaniel to a corgi mix. Just really irritated me that author could make such huge mistakes.
Good guys finished first. Very realistic with ups and downs. Love, families and hard honest work wins. You get your monies worth with these brothers. Boys grew up to be real men, so refreshing. I guess I loved Logan and Heidi the best but it was also the most heart breaking. Loved the writing at locations 7946 and 144525! I also loved that this writer can write great stories without the extensive use of expletives. I want to move there. v
Really enjoyed all of these stories where all five Keller brothers each find love. As with all tales of love, none of them ever run smooth with exes throwing a spanner in the works, trauma and many other twists in each of the stories. Thoroughly enjoyable and well worth reading. Read an ARC for an honest review.
This book is about Five brother who have all lived on this fantastic ranch but have all take different paths in life which has lead them into meeting the women of their choice with each one having a very different adventure but the ranch is a big life factor in their stories and family is also a big part of their lives
I'm so happy to have read about the brothers as a box set and no as individuals. The author's ability to weave stories of love and loyalty was amazing. My only wish was: the ending of each story. I expected the ending for romance novel, to be a happily ever after instead of being abrupt.
This book is made up of five interconnected stories about the Keller brothers.
Book 1 Cowboy Keller. (Daniel and Rachel). The story was good but the book was filled grammatical errors, particularly in chapter 4. It’s almost as if the chapter was written by someone else or the proofreader and editor somehow skipped it.
Good old fashioned romances that were hard to put down, the only gripe would be they stopped dead at the end. You might have seen a glimpse into the future of the previous couples in the next story but the last 2 we won't get a follow up... 🥺🥺 Otherwise I loved them all...
Were the plots ok? Yes, not fully developed. Was the dialogue believable? At times, but hard to follow. There were so many grammatical errors that it was hard to concentrate. I found at least 30, and that was after I started looking for them. A better proofreader would have been very beneficial.
Strong family bonds, relationships you can relate to, characters that bring the story to life and a storyline that is not only enjoyable but will suck you in from the start. This set was enjoyable to read.
I read book one and was so confused they had no chemistry and it seems to skip interactions with two main characters. I didn't think it was well written at all. Did not finish the other stories
Some parts will make you laugh and some some will make you cry! However I want more, what happened to Gamer ,Lawyer,Hot but also Mom and Dad! Come on another five book series and add Mom and Dad!
The editing needs quite a bit of work. There are unnecessary words in sentences that make a reader try to figure out the flow of the story. The story is excellent but go back and edit the whole series again.
These books are amazing, there is so much in the from lawyers to vets to photograph so much detail for these 5 men. I think out of all I loved logan and George story the most can't recommend enough
I love reading a box set because there's always such a variation of journeys to follow and characters to get to know. I loved this one, and having the chance to lose myself in the pages until the end.
Really liked the characters and their stories which were well written. There were some continuity issues with a couple characters that I found distracting but I’ll definitely read other series by this author.
Good storylines. Some things seem to not follow previous storylines. Some of the stories are ended abruptly. But it seemed a little slow/dry in the middle. I've read other works by the same author that were much more thought out.
I loved this series and how they follow chronologically. However, Rachel goes from being unable to have children to being pregnant, Callie has a surrogate in one book but in another book she adopts and the baby's name changes between books.
