Be still me HEART! These two can’t get anymore cute. Honestly, one of the healthiest relationships that I’ve seen in manga. I like how it’s realistic but these two have such a healthy way of communicating. Whether it’s jealousy or uneasiness or nervousness or sadness, they are willing to work it out by talking. The way the two of them just love each other (because at this point I’m convinced they’re in love) makes me smile from ear to ear. I cannot wait to dive into the next volume.

Mizusawa and Yagyu make my heart flutter omg 🥹💖

A second year student, Tatsukawa, has taken a shine to Mizusawa. But is it in a friendly way or something more? Yagyu feels jealous just seeing the two of them talking! How will he feel if he finds out Mizusawa is now co-workers with Tatsukawa? But she is so smitten with Yagyu that I doubt she will take notice of anybody else… Right? She’s started working the job to save up for a Christmas gift for him!

"Even pointless things can be fun as long as we're doing them together."

After reading volume two with what I felt was a lot of unnecessary drama, I was really nervous that this volume would have the same unfolding of drama. (It didn't help that a few days prior to reading this volume I heard quite a few people dropped the series. *nervous laughter*)

However, after reading for myself, my reservations were completely unnecessary and will NOT be personally dropping this series!

IT WAS SO GOOD!!

This volume captured what I loved in the volume one and the first half of volume two with the opening quote really summing up these two relationship so well. We get a school festival and I absolutely loved it! The following chapters were just as fantastic and really enjoyed how a young kiddo was involved because I feel its rare for younger siblings and/or family members to make more then just an appearance when it comes to meeting the person they are dating. (Such a wholesome and sweet chapter! *cries*)

I think the only thing I was nervous about was this new guy who showed up. I actually went and read the blurb for the next volume because I was like DON'T YOU DARE INTERFERE WITH THIS PRECIOUS COUPLE!! and it based off what I read, I don't need to worry about any potential breakups or questioning of feelings. Granted, like Satomi says at one point, she truly only has eyes for Yagyu (and will admit it was nice seeing Yagyu be jealous briefly). This new guy though really needs to just go elsewhere.

OH! With that, I will say it was nice that even if Satomi is inexperienced in relationships and love, I was glad that when the one guy patted her head, she knew something was up. She might have internally said it was nothing with a question mark, but I really appreciated the fact that she wasn't clueless about his actions and what it could mean. I hope she will continue to be aware and mindful, especially if this guy tries to interfere.

Overall though, this was such a wonderful volume!! I really really really love these two and think they are my favorite couple from ongoing shojo because their story is so relaxing and refreshing. Definitely contiune to recommend this series if you want a casual and sweet romance with absolutely stunning art! (Yagyu is definitely dashing in this one. HA!)

This was SOOOOOO much better than the second volume. No bro-con younger sister in this one, woohoo!!

We DID unfortunately get the "late to the game second love interest for the MC h" character, which is annoying, as 1) the secondary love interest for the female NEVER gets the girl, because she is already into the MC H, thankyouverymuch and 2) I get bitter that the MC h gets TWO hot and awesome guys into her, because real life just doesn't WORK that way.

So, while the tropes were cute (high school festival, etc.), the shoe-horned in second love interest irked me.

3, solid but this volume did pick it up enough that I am willing to read the next one and recommend this series if you like shojo, stars.

My thanks to NetGalley and VIZ Media LLC for an eARC copy of this book to read and review.

So cute! I really need more of this series, it is just too much fun to see these two together! We also have a senpai wandering around, I do like him, but I am definitely praying this doesn't end up with him interfering in the relationship of the MC and her boyfriend. I would be so pissed. I mean, for now nothing has happened, but there are moments that have me doubting. And once again, as said in every volume so far, that best friend of the boyfriend can F off. What a horrible character.
Other than that, a birthday happens with someone else tagging along which was both adorable and made me laugh, there is Christmas planning happening and our MC has a job now, there is a school festival featuring a hot boyfriend in suit and swoony moments, there is a school festival quest. I just adored it all. I hope that these two really stay together forever because DANG, so much chemistry.

Just a shame that my library copy was cut off wrong and some pages had text bubbles with text 1/3 or half eaten. :(

Although this series doesn't do much to distinguish itself - this volume introduces a male rival and the inevitable school festival with bonus aquarium date - it remains cozy comfort reading. And from where I'm sitting with a broken arm, that's a perfectly lovely thing for it to be.

Honestly this series reminds me so much of the high school romance manga I read when I was a teen (with healthier communication and dynamics lol) that I can't help but love it! Definitely going to keep reading!

This totally redeemed itself from the last volume. God they're so cute. This series reminds me how much I absolutely adore shoujo. Sure it's tropey, but it gives me so many warm and fuzzy feelings. I adore their relationship and I also love that even though Yagyu didn't initially have a crush on Satomi he's fully committed to her now and so obviously likes her so much. It's so precious. I don't trust this new guy, but I feel kind of bad for him. I also feel like their relationship is strong enough that if anything happens with him it will be quickly resolved or immediately brushed off.

Satomi and Yagyu are settling in nicely as their relationship gets stronger and stronger by the day. In this volume there is the inevitable school festival, they celebrate Yagyu’s birthday, and a new romantic rival is introduced.

This volume was charming and certainly redeemed itself after the failures of the last volume. There isn’t too much to say about it. It’s just perfectly serviceable shoujo. There is nothing that is particularly special about this volume, but I found it to be a nice read. It’s predictable and you can guess every plot point well before it happens. However, there is comfort in its otherwise bland story-telling. If you're looking to read something with loads of drama, you might skip this one. However, if you want your heart to have a warm fuzzy feeling, I would definitely give this story a try.

The pool scene at the end of the festival is a stand-out moment for me. I loved seeing Yagyu and Satomi be silly together as they started to take the idea of their love story being cursed if they didn’t finish a game in a certain amount of time. It was cute how aloof they were about the endeavor at first, but as the end of the game approached, they got more and more worked up over it. As I’ve said in all my reviews, it just feels wholesomely realistic.

My only real criticism is that Yagyu and the other side characters seem underdeveloped. Yagyu has moments where we see some personality, but he’s starting to feel a bit too perfect. He’s a very aloof person, with brief bouts of passion, but other than that he’s starting to feel a bit one-note. Satomi and Yagyu’s friends have been side-lined a bit too much. So much in fact that I don’t remember the friends' names. I would like to see more of those characters as they add some tension and realism to the story.

This volume also introduced Tatsukawa, a no-nonsense upperclassman with a tentative interest in Satomi. We all know where this plot line is going, and we all know that no matter how interesting or likable this guy is, he will never eclipse Yagyu in Satomi’s eyes. That being said, he seems like a compelling character in his own right and is a fun addition to the cast.

This is the pure romantic wholesomeness I signed up for!

I wasn't the biggest fan of volume 2 so I put this series down for some time but I'm so relieved I picked it back up because this volume was everything I want and need in a shojo.

It has been decided, I stan.

With nothing better to do in this super generic teen romance, the creator starts working their way through all the shojo tropes: cultural festival, cosplay, jealousy, birthday, amusement park, part-time jobs, Christmas, and of course a romantic rival.

The writing and art are fine on a page-by-page basis, but there is just nothing here that is special or new or unique. It's too bland and vanilla for me, so I'll be stopping here.

“The snow is coming down, and my breathe is white, but with you i feel so warm”.
Well, this one was way better than the previous volume. Satomi has to organize the culture festival since she’s in the comitee but she wants to spend time with her boyfriend. In the end, she is really busy but they get to participate in one game organized by the second years and they had so much fun. It was really cute to see them together, working to find the stuff and winning in the end. It was so wholesome and it shows how good they are for each other. In this volume yagyu’s birthday is coming and satomi wants to spend it with him. However, last minute, she’s forced to nanny her little cousin, Nao. They spend the whole day at the zoo and it was cute because the little kid was afraid of Yagyu. In the end, he won him over and we got to see a bossy Satomi, and that was cool.
The only thing I didn’t like is the potential love triangle with the new guy. He met her at the festival, and later on we find out that he works at the same cafe as satomi. She wants to save up money for Christmas and she needs a part job. She wants to spend Christmas with Yagyu and it was cute. However, this new guy might be a potential li and she seems to maybe like him to an extent. Honestly i’m tired of the same formula and idk if i’ll continue with the next volumes.
I like their relationship and i wish we could’ve seen more of them.

Again, this is my first manga series. I would say this was about a 3.5 for me, just like #1 and 2.

Just like the first two books, this book is gorgeous! It was so adorable to see the characters back at school and preparing for the cultural festival. Yagyu is so adorable, going a bit out of his way to give Satomi what she wanted to see. So cute!

And it was kind of nice to see a bit of Yagyu's jealous side. He isn't disrespectful or abusive but you can see just how much he loves Satomi and doesn't want to lose her. So after seeing Yagyu's ex as well, they both have the validation that they need that they truly do love each other!

I also loved the scene with her cousin and seeing the interactions between him and Yagyu as well as all three of them. I know that life can't happen perfectly like a manga but I cross my fingers hoping there are guys/gals out there like these two!! So sweet, kind, generous - JUST ADORABLE!
Now I'm hooked so off to read the rest of the series!

This series just keeps getting cuter and cuter. My favorite part? Where Yagyu and Satomi jump into the pool together. Them working together toward a common goal and not afraid to have fun is a beautiful and wonderful thing to see. I hate that there's trouble on the horizon for them again, but that's the nature of story. We need conflict to survive! I know they'll make it through though. Right?

This was such a cute volume! I always really enjoy the volumes that include the culture festival. This one was really fun, I enjoyed seeing Yagyu as a butler and the scavenger hunt was really adorable. Overall, a great volume! looking forward to the next one!

I didn't care for the last volume mainly because of Yagyus sister being weird but so I'm glad she wasn't in this. the series went right back to being cute.
