Partly began reading this because I'd just finished Assassin's Creed Origins and was still in the Egyptian mythology mood. Partly began reading it because I figured reading mythology from other parts of the world might help me in my quest to create my own mythology for my own fictional fantasy world. This took me way longer than it had any right to because of life, but I learned a lot and it definitely helped me with my own worldbuilding. I can't comment on how comprehensive this book is, but I'd recommend this if you want to learn more about Egyptian mythology in a fairly digestible way.
I enjoyed reading this for what it is, and I hope it helps me understand the Bible a little better. A fairly easy mythology read for the year. Nice smell, like the Encyclopedia set I had as a child. 😊
