Rate this book
Three weeks till Christmas…
Back in the spring, when Ginger Malone asked charming inventor Frank Cardinal on a date, she struck out hard. Now, at their last business meeting of the year, something has changed, but Ginger won’t ask Frank if he’s flirting with her in case she’s misreading the signs again.

Two hearts afraid to take a chance…
Caught flat-footed and tongue-tied when the gorgeous North Pole Unlimited representative asked him out, Frank panicked, and Ginger retreated. Now he’s trying to get back to a place where he could have another shot with her, but he might be too late.

One elf-size matchmaker…
Grown-ups are so dense! Since her dad hasn’t got around to asking Ginger on a date, nine-year old Michelle is forced to take action with a little help from her friends. Will her risky plan work?

Only Santa knows.

This is a sweet, tender romance, perfect to read during the Christmas season. Frank is a game designer who lives with his 9 year old daughter and his father. Ginger is is Frank's account representative with the company North Pole Unlimited.
Over the summer, Frank rebuffed Ginger's attempt at developing a more personal relationship between the two of them. She's retreated to a more professional level of interaction, sure that he has zero romantic interest in her. Frank, however, was just awkward and insecure and now doesn't know how to ask her out.
Luckily for the two of them, Frank's daughter has decided to get involved, and Frank and Ginger are helpless to escape her matchmaking.
The characters in this book are just like people you'd like to have as friends and family and you'll be rooting for their happy ever after. The idea of a company called North Pole Unlimited, located in a town called December, is a great fit for the playful and sweet mood of the book. I've already ordered a second book in the series!
I received this book through the Goodreads Giveaways program in exchange for an honest review.

Frank is widower and game designer who lives with his genius level 9 YO daughter and father in small town Manitoba. Ginger is a marketing manager at a company North Pole Unlimited, that specializes in Xmas toys/games, and has managed Frank's game sales on behalf of the company for several years. Ginger asked Frank out a few months back, but he was so surprised that he completely flubbed his response and now despairs of ever getting another chance with her. That is, until she comes for a short business visit before Christmas and his brilliant but mischievous daughter decides to step in to help him.

This was a sweet, light Xmas romance, perfect for a quick afternoon escape. I usually find novellas to be a bit too short, but the author did a great job of packing a full story into the shorter word count. I won this book in a GR giveaway. All thoughts expressed are my own.

This romance was the perfect way to spend an hour or so to relax to. Honestly I found the story about how Michelle's grandparents met more charming than Ginger and Frank's.

This is a sweet Christmas romance and perfect for a quick read when you are short on time but still need a little Christmas reading. Frank's daughter is cute. And meddling. But honestly Frank is kind of a social disaster so he needed the help. Both he and Ginger were good sports.
Nice, clean read for when you are short on time but need a little Christmas read.

I enjoyed this sweet Christmas romance. It's a fun, quick read with wonderful characters, banter and plot! The main characters were Frank, a game designer with a 9-year-old daughter, and Ginger, Frank's account representative with North Pole Unlimited. (Don't you just love that name?)

A while ago, Ginger asked Frank out, but because he was surprised by her request, plus he was kind of shy and not very outgoing, he messed up his reply. Once he got over the shock and had time to think about it, he wanted very much to go out with her. He got the perfect chance to ask her out when she came for a quick business trip at Christmas time. But he was too shy to follow through. Lucky for him (?) his daughter was not shy and had a plan to get them to go out.

I loved the date she arranged. I laughed at the romantic dinner she prepared. Let's just say that a child's version of a special dinner is nothing like an adult's version.

This is a fun book that left me smiling. I highly recommend it, especially if you like Christmas romances.

His granddaughter looked at him expectantly. “That’s it? That’s the whole story?”
“Yep.”
“Why didn’t she give you her cell phone number?”
“Cell phones didn’t exist in 1984.”
Michelle stared at him. “How did you live?”
