September 7, 2022What happened that I can't get past level 60?! Has the author not finished the book?! If not, then let your reader's know!!! You just left us hanging!!! Do I have to subscribe to Galatea and pay to finish rhe book???!!! It's bad enough that you have to wait 6 hours between chapters!!! Why can't you just have us watch a 30 to 60 second ad between chapters instead???!!!

The first 7 chapters were interesting and I would have loved to continue but..
It is only available on Galatea and the wait time to read all the locked chapters is 204 HOURS!! That means the minimum time to read it for free is 8.5 days if you set an alarm for every 6 hours. Or 34 days if you click once a day. That’s insane.
I’m not shelling out big bucks to buy unlimited when similar stories are going for 1.99 to 3.99 on amazon.
If Galatea had a 30-60 second add to buy the next chapter that would be cool but as it is it feels really greedy and scammy. Just skip it and support an author that uses a less predatory platform

I paid a large sum of money and I read the 61 chapters to find that it isn't the full story. I feel frustrated. I need to know what will happen next.It's not cool at all to feel hanged up in this way. What will happen? We need more chapters about the gathering of the heroes: bell and grayson....

Belle & Grayson
FUCK. THIS.
Only 61 chapters and it ends on a damn cliffhanger without any resolution?
Cliffhanger doesn’t even cover it. The story just ends.
And of the entire 61 chapters, 90% of them were just painful bc Belle went through so much pain, heartache and - let’s face it - domestic violence.
Here’s a rundown:
They meet on a plane.
He knows she’s his mate.
They spend days in a hotel while she’s fighting against the bond and wants to run.
She gets captured and then she’s ok with trying their relationship.
Grayson & Belle are sightseeing in Paris.
She sneaks away to see her mother.
The mother is mated to another wolf - that wolf punches Belle.
Grayson swoops in, takes her to her pack … and then we get maybe 1-3 scenes when everything’s okay.
They are close to “completing the mate bond” aka sex when Vampires cross the border.
He gets captured and mind controlled by a Vampire who wants to use him to take the Vampire Crown from the current vampire king.
And with that Grayson begins to treat Belle like she’s scum and barely good enough to fuck.
He tries to overpower her but she resists - so she gets told to sleeps in the basement, she barely eats and gets punched and slapped by Grayson.
She cries, the Gamma, Kyle, finds her sobbing, she feels excruciating pain through her mark on her neck - they find out Grayson is about to fuck another woman.
Kyle’s Mate Elijah takes her to get away.
Kyle finds out that Grayson is possessed and alerts the current Vampire King
Kyle gets bitten and then healed by a healer send by the Vampire King … and he turns into a vampire hybrid.
The Vampire King defeats the Vampire in Graysons Body, the Vampire leaves the body, the healer heals him … he also turns into a vampire hybrid.
The current Vampire king says Elijah should come back and focus on the war that is coming - the Vampire that controlled Grayson builds an army to take the crown that way.
Elijah does come back and we get the very last scene from Belle’s perspective: Elijah and her wanted to settle down in a big city (Minneapolis? Idk) but when she arrives her old apparently was not hers anymore and she notices that that city is filled with bad memories, so she decides to get on a bus and then another one and look where she lands. We as reader don’t find out where she is.
Grayson desperately wants to get to Belle and grovel forever to make it up to her but gets talked sense into him, that Belle is safe outside the war zone.
Grayson sends Elijah back to find Belle and protect her, thinking she’s still in that city they discussed.
Then there’s discussion that Grayson is the new Hybrid King of all species bc there was this prophecy and Vampire control doesn’t work anymore on him.
Saying that he’s now immortal and when mated Belle would … turn into a fairy????
Then the Vampire who wants the crown connects once more with Grayson via mindlink and Grayson can see that that Vampire has build an army of Vampires (very Twilight, Victoria coded, lol) and then turns around to look at Graysons spirit.
The Vampire tells them that they are coming now.
… that’s it.
I … I feel like this story didn’t really have an arc. Or if it did it ended right before the climax of the story.
Before the showdown. Before things get goooood.
Because as is … the majority of the story is from Belle’s perspective and she’s just nonstop put through it. Traumatised doesn’t even begin to cover it.
I hate that I am so easily impacted by text bc I spend SEVERAL chapters in literal tears bc I was so angry and pissed on behalf of Belle.
I just found out there is a second book to conclude the story … apparently it’s called “His Lost Queen” … but my god would it have been so bad to just finish the story in one part instead of cutting it off like this?
I wouldn’t be this harsh would there have been a full story … but like this there’s not much more to say other than 1★

This book is apparently #1 in “possessive” in Wattpad, and yup, the Alpha werewolf H was totally OTT “mine” about the h, so if you’re into crazy Hs then check this out.
The h is a virgin. I didn’t get any immature vibe about the h in the beginning, but I did later on. It’s Wattpad, the author might really be a 14yr old girl after all.
The h was calling sex “that” and had this naive thing about her which I find annoying, but then again, I find virgins in modern romance annoying so it’s prolly just me.
Still recommend it, it’s one of the better Free Wattpad stories. It felted like a 4-5 stars book.

I read this book in 2020 and this got me into reading romance!! It only had fluff and it was cute… some steamy and tense moments! I loved these characters so much and will be one of my favorite books that I have reread like a million times.

Zaginęłam w odmętach aplikacji do czytania opowiadań, które co ileś tam godzin udostępnia nowy rozdział. Nawet nie myślałam, że znajdę tę pozycję na Goodreads, ale jak jest to sobie ją dodam, bo jednak tej książce poświęciłam trochę czasu.
Krótko - jest sobie Bella, leci do Paryża, żeby się spotkać z matką i zostaje porwana przez Alfę Greysona. Vibe "Zmierzchu" ma się tutaj świetnie tylko, że zamiast dominujących wampirów mamy wilkołaki. Nie traktowałam tej książki poważnie tylko raczej jako ciekawostka, bo mnie bardziej interesowała sama aplikacja. Ogólnie to jestem na nie. Absurdalne sytuacje w miejscach publicznych, które w rzeczywistości nie miałyby racji bytu, Bella, która leci za facetem, bo jest przystojny, ale nic poza tym, on wiecznie warczący i to dosłownie, a gwoździem w tym wszystkim są dialogi gdzie brakuje domalowanych kupidynków, żeby sobie tak fruwały dookoła nich. Później kolejne rozdziały był obrzydliwe oraz odpychające i nic mojego zdania nie zmieni, nawet wyjaśnienie dlaczego tak się stało. Początkowo akcja szła dosyć sprawnie, a potem to siadło na mieliźnie.
Dobrze, że chociaż rozdziały były krótkie. Znacznie więcej czasu zajmowało czekanie na kolejne fragmenty.

I'm reading this currently and I wonder why people pay a big amount of money to read each chapter of this stupid shitty book full of smut and kiss her kiss him bs, so it starts with belle (so she has to be beautiful like her name says) she's on a plane to Paris and she meets a handsome man that she feels awkwardly attracted to him so instead of introducing herself to him and he introduce himself to her normally, she's all clingy like a koala on a tree all the time on the plane and he literally bites her after trying to kill a man on the plane and the police never showed up and he took her just like that to the hotel where clearly no one works there because she screamed and cried all the time and no one showed up to clean the room or anything so that they notice the kidnapped women

A really good story, bearing in mind the werewolf stories I avoid because they are not my favorite ones.
I found it under the name "Beautiful Belle and Alpha Grayson" in Wattpad but unfortunately, it was moved to Galatea platform as an audiobook.
I can't wait to read/hear the second book.
I will probably order it soon just to have it on paper as well.

Hated the part where she was abused by the vampire but glad the guys helped her escape. Listened to the audio book until book 1 chapter 61. Now is says more chapters coming soon.

Not going to lie - this was pretty fantastic. Read it in 2 days. Belle is on a flight to Paris and winds up meeting her mate Grayson, the Alpha of his Werewolf pack. Belle is human so this takes a minute to warm up to but she feels it too, big time. Then the vampires come and ruin everything and well I’ll be starting the second book tonight.

I'm very cranky I can't find the sequel to see how this book's story ends. This alone makes me drop my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. Don't start something you don't intend to finish. I believe the app Galatea by Inkitt has something to do with this and maybe with putting it out there something will happen.

I gave this 3 stars for writing style and storyline plot holes, and character discrepancies.
Firstly, I read this book on a platform where many people are trying to become writers. You could tell that the writing style for this book was that way, but the story line interested me so I stuck with it.
Another issue was the obvious holes in the character lines. Characters are introduced to seem like they will have a large part and then disappear never to be heard of or mentioned again. For example the story starts off with Belle going to see her mother in Paris. When she finally sees her, its short lived and then she never sees her again. The whole beginning of the book the FMC wants to see her mom. Another character is the Beta. She's introduced, dissappears, and comes back a little later to cause chaos with a storyline that doesn't fit the current story line, and disappears again.

Une histoire avec énormément de potentiel je dirais mais avec une écriture assez enfantine pour ma part.
J’ai trouvé le début super étrange, je ne savais pas du tout où l’autrice voulait nous amener, j’étais étonné et complètement confuse. Les réponses arrivent évidemment petit à petit mais vraiment lentement et l’histoire est un yo-yo. Beaucoup d’aller retour dans les chapitres, ce qui ne fait pas avancer l’histoire …
Belle se réveille à Paris, dans le même lit qu’un homme très séduisant. Le problème c’est qu’elle ne souvient pas comment elle est arrivé ici et qui est cette homme … Son objectif premier : sortir de cette chambre à tout prix.
C’est une déception pour moi …

Wow, das war vielleicht ein Trash Buch.
Der Schreibstil ist furchtbar, jedes Kapitel enthält massige inhaltliche Lücken, die Szenen sind zum Fremdschämen und die nervige Protagonistin kann einfach nicht älter als 17/18 Jahre alt sein, die ihr Leben alleine nicht auf die Reihe bekommt und tatsächlich einen Mann braucht, der alles für sie tut.
Das Buch ist einfach nur Müll und trotzdem konnte ich die Duologie nicht aus der Hand legen. Es ist, als ob man einem schlimmen Unfall zusieht und einfach nicht wegschauen kann. ._.

The first half deals with an extremely possessive alpha werewolf kidnapping a human who he claims to be his mate ! He calls her his within the first chapter and can't leave her alone . He needs to get her to understand they are meant for eachother.
Then within the 2nd half things take a turn and everything goes wrong! talk about a twist !
I had to run and start the 2nd immediately!

I started reading this because of the incessant instagram ads and it wasn’t even a fraction of what it was built up to be. This was my first werewolf book and I guess the trope just isn’t for me. I thought the writing was clumsy and character building was weak. There was also no resolution to the book, it was entirely build up to the next book.

Leider ist die App eine absolute abzocke und die Übersetzung ist auch nicht so prickelnd. Aber irgendwas haben diese Bücher an sich das man weiter lesen möchte. Diese kurzen knackigen Sätze .. man kommt einfach schnell auf den Geschmack. Das ständige warte oder Kapitel kaufen nervt aber und als die Story dann auch ne blöde Wendung bekam gab ich auf..

This book had me in an absolute chokehold.
The love story within this was written so beautifully (call me traumatised but I loved it), and whilst some of the twists were a little bit predictable, I couldn’t wait to read what was actually going to unfold.
50/10 would recommend.
