From the pens of burgeoning fourth grade authors, Raya Maggor and Anya Ross, comes Untold, an audacious new contribution to the world of fractured fairy tales.
When the ruthless and monomaniacal Prince Charming sets out to conquer the fairy tale world, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and The Princess and the Pea band together to protect their struggling kingdoms. The outlaw heroines organize a bold resistance, but their arduous quest proves more dangerous than they ever imagined…
Not the greatest book in the world, but good for forth graders. Worth a read I would say. Does have some socialist views and messages (but not too much), so people who disagree have been warned I guess. Some good messages on feminism and women living independently. -Aurelia D. Haver (P.S. waiting for W.R. Hawthorne's take on this)
This book is very engaging and hard to put down. It is sometimes hilarious and sometimes terrifying. I can't believe that it was written by 10 year olds - budding feminists for sure.
