Falling for him wasn’t an option. But now, plans have changed. Filling in for my friend on a Friday night should’ve been easy.
I should’ve walked away with enough money to get ahead on a few late bills, giving me a peace of mind I could sorely use right the hell now.
But instead, I walk away with far more in hand...
Logan Knox, billionaire hot-shot who’s known for his lavish lifestyle and lonesome self, calls me his angel the night we meet, telling me I’m every bit of the girl he’s been waiting for...his little one.
Am I wrong to question him? Maybe fate is working at its finest here... Something deep inside is telling me there’s no need to question the path I’m heading down. I have nothing going for me, so really, what’s the worst that could happen?
Placing my future in Logan’s hands feels tempting, but can I really become more than just a waitress...for Daddy.
❥ If you enjoy steamy short reads with a touch of ddlg, then you’ll love my Please Me, Daddy series. Each book is a standalone romance, so feel free to read in any order you please. No cliffhangers and no cheating. Just a HEA, every steamy time.
Such a sweet and romantic age gap story where Logan is a little more than twice Mercy’s age. Logan is instantly attracted to Mercy and immediately want her to be his after spending a few hours talking, but he waits a few days and surprises her while she’s working. He has Mercy move in with him immediately and sets her up in a guest room and gives her a new wardrobe. Knowing this would be her first time, Logan takes his time but Mercy gets impatient so she’s naughty and needs to be disciplined by Logan.
Mercy was aptly named. She shows mercy to everyone but herself as they walk all over her. When she’s doing another favor as a fill in waitress for Sarah she meets Daddy and he will stop at nothing to have her for his own. Logan is a powerful man who seems to have everything and yet again he doesn’t. Can Mercy fill his needs and in exchange fill her own? As usual, Great read.
I read an ARC via the author and I'm voluntarily choosing to review it. Nice/short story. Mercy’s friend asks for a favor to go in her place for her job. She then runs into Logan who’s a bit older and has some money. They get a bit cozy and they have a nice story but something happens and Logan’s comes very protective of her.
I have been enjoying this series, but this one fell a little bit short for me. It seemed too rushed and predictable. 3.5 stars. Still entertaining, though. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
