Harriet Saunders lives an uncomplicated carefree life. She wears hippie dresses and potters around her garden with no shoes. She doesn’t own a television and couldn’t be bothered with social media. So, when British-born Hollywood heartthrob Henry Morgan returns to his native hometown of St. Trias, where Harriet has just bought the house next door, she has no idea who he is, and yet there is an instant and mutual attraction.Harriet gets to know her neighbour – the dog-loving, charming, handsome man who can cook like a Gourmet Chef. Henry finds her blissful ignorance refreshing. For the first time in eight years, he can be just Henry. But when she finds out who he really is, would she be willing to switch out her Wellingtons for Jimmy Choo’s?
Gretchen was born with a book in her hands. She lived in the town library, where she devoured hundreds of books every year. At the tender age of thirteen, she read The Stand by Stephen King and her love for writing was born. Her writing journey started when she wrote fan fiction for her high school peers, and they ate them up like last night’s pizza. In 2018, she published her first novella and knew this was what she wanted to do—create worlds where her readers could escape to and fall in love with her characters. She now lives and writes contemporary closed-door romance while sipping cocktails on the sandy beaches of the Caribbean.
