Spending a day at Pretty Beach is a wonderful way to enjoy the Summer. Lulu and Ollie are brilliant main characters and as always it’s lovely meeting up with old friends again. I love the detail that Polly Babbington includes in her stories - the food that they eat, the descriptions of the candles Lulu sells - all add up to the hug in a book.

A beautiful book
Polly Babbington is an epic story writer, and I just love the Pretty Beach stories. I have heard of binge watching, well today I have been binge reading!
Lulu and Ollie are a dream couple, and compliment each other perfectly, but all dreams have the sound of distant thunder, and Lulu's is her horrible ex husband Fenton and her selfish father John.
Highly recommend you read all of her books, sit with your feet up, and a large glass of something moreish, and wrap yourself up in the Boeing's on at Pretty Beach.
The only thing I don't like is waiting for Polly to get her next book ready! Come on Polly put down your cinnamon buns and get typing 😍😍😍😍😍😍💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

Loved catching up with my pretty beach family, another fabulous read from Polly.
Eminently readable, I devoured this in a day, now hurry up please Polly with the next book haha!
You won't be disappointed with this read, whether this is your 1st book of Polly's or you have eagerly been awaiting the next pretty beach instalment like me, just get plenty of supplies and a comfy place to settle down and read - bliss

Brilliant as always
I absolutely loved this book. I have read the whole series and each one I have read from start to finish in one day . Once you open the book you are drawn in by the character's and can't wait to find what is happening in their lives. I love the way we also catch up with characters from previous books

Yet another fab slice of Pretty Beach, this book as every book in the Pretty Beach series transports you right there, away from the stresses of everyday life... Nothing like reading it in the morning with a coffee and Carole King in the background before the world wakes up and your day starts ...leaves a lovely glow like you have had your coffee there xxx

Slightly worrying ...these books are addictive!
I love to read a novel and escape for a while but the Babbington Chronicles around Pretty Beach have me hooked and I find me and my kindle hiding away and reading into the night at times ...love the characters ..the plots...scenery...unique women and courageous life choices ..yes I am an addict!!!

I don't know what to say apart from, I loved this new character and the way she has been described and her independence and the way she picks herself up.
Highly recommended - dont need to say anything else. Please read it if you can.
