Weightless adjective : having little weight : lacking apparent gravitational pull
Weightless is a collection of illustrations from 2020. Each work inspired by an oscillating feeling of both quiet, rest, wonder and freedom, with a respect for nature and the ethereal. A purely visceral form of personal musings from paper, to screen, to book.
Within it are odes to the fantastical, natural, celestial and mundane, with an everyday touch. Some illustrations are present to send a clear message; others just silly doodles, but made with love all the same.
Each illustration's goal is to bring the viewer a sense of peace, a wayward thought, or a nostalgic reprieve - weightlessness.

Absolutely gorgeous art book. Have been following Geneva Bowers for quite some time and her art is dreamy and emotive. “Weightless” is a really good name for this one.
(Not including this in my GR reading score/Twitter count because it’s mostly pictures. There’s probably only about 500 words totally scattered through? It’s definitely a coffee table book.)
Another favorite artist’s art book. Geneva has an incredible use of color and shape/flow and I find myself in awe every time I see her art, staring at it to drink it in, in all of it’s colorful glory. She also includes multiple pages of references of her art process which is both fascinating and educational.
This artbook is gorgeous. I am a huge fan of this artists work and I am so glad i was able to snag a hardcover copy of this book. Filled with breathtaking works and well worth it.
