Courage

‘As gritty as the streets of London and as compulsive as a TV Crime Drama . . . Courage has it seedy government ministers and police corruption as well as conflicts of love and morality which are set against racial prejudice and social etiquette . . . This is a must-read for hardened crime fans!’

The problem is, he's a criminal who spent two years in prison and she's the detective who helped put him there. I really enjoyed this book. It revolves around an unusual pairing that come together to find The Dorking Devil. The Dorking Devil is a serial killer that Joanne Sinclair is determined to find and put behind bars.

Leroy Martin is an ex convict but Louise feels he is the best person to help her in her quest. He on the other hand expects nothing from anybody and plus they have a history.

Can the pair work together to rid the world of another serial killer? I found this book to be well written and whilst the book concentrates on the catching of killer, there are other subjects addressed too. Which to me made it a more rounded story.

Great thriller, believable characters due to skilled use of imagery. Did not want to finish reading this book! Definitely glad there’s going to be a second.

Very invigorating read, was never a dull moment enhanced by the quality description. Highly recommend especially if you’re into mysteries or thrillers.
