Millie's Troubles (Keep You On Your Toes)

Dear Hope,
I didn't write a review for the other books in this set. I wanted to wait until I read all of them. I loved each and every one of them. They kept me on my toes making me want to help figure out who did it!! Sometimes I guessed it but other times I was way off.
I only wish that there was more about the Captain and Millie. I would also love to see some of the other characters get married!!
I have to say that I actually spent days where I didn't do anything but read your books for most of the day. I can't wait for the next book to come out.
I have read some of your other series but I think this is the best one so far!
Sincerely,
Donna M. Hopkins

All hands on deck - Look out for Scout, Captain Nic and Millie's cute Teacup Yorkie. With stops in Scotland before returning to the states, Siren of the Sea hosts an intriguing crew, unexpected twist and turns, red herrings, and some not so delightful passengers - keeping Millie on her sleuthing toes. This avid retired reader, always enjoy Millie's interactions with crew and guests. Loved seeing Fin, Sharky's homeless drug sniffing kitten at work. Hope Callaghan's description of Fin's antics made me chuckle. Recipe for tasty Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas included. Dog-Gone Cruise Director is a delightful arm chair cruise read.

Another light, entertaining reading for a cruiser, or someone who wishes they were.

It appears that the Southampton Strangler is also a cruiser. After 3 more murders in London, officials are convinced that the killer has boarded the Siren of the Seas. Millie suspects the strangler could be one of a group of swingers (not the dance kind, the partner swapping kind :)) She is given the Indonesian security officer, Suharto, as a guard. She also borrows Patterson's Viper stun gun, and after a slight mishap when she zaps Andy, she learns to put it to good use.

Millie Super Sleuth Or A Goner

When Siren Of The Seas sets sail for it's ten day trip to it's home port of Miami, the head of security receives word that police think the individual they are searching for is on board the ship, the Southampton strangled. Millie can not help herself but investigate knowing she is making herself a target. As usual she manages to get in trouble and placed on probation this time. This is one of my favorite books and it is easy to see why in that it takes us on a day to day journey into the life of the assistant cruise director and her friends and co-workers. Millie is also the Captain's wife. The fact that the female passengers think Nic sexy is not lost on his wife! I love Hope Callaghan's books and really hope that you will read them and enjoy them as much as I do.

As the ship is preparing to leave Southampton, Millie comes across a crowd of people and the police. A soon-to-be passenger was murdered by the strangler. It was rumored that the strangler boarded the ship and through Millie’s snooping, she becomes his/her next victim. Join Millie as she unravels the clues to discover who the murderer is. This was an enjoyable read. The plot and characters were well-written, making you feel like you are friends. This was a perfect cozy mystery with just the perfect amount of humor, mystery, intrigue, quirky characters, and adventure that will keep any reader completely engaged. Highly recommend the series and I look forward to the next book.

Millie and her group of shipboard friends are once again drawn into a mystery which begins on land and finishes onboard the Siren of The Seas. With passengers boarding and the ship readying to set sail, a strangler has been at work ashore. It is suspected that the guilty party is now aboard. Where is he? Who is going to be the next target? Who done it?? Get involved with the activities on board, visit the ships galley, see a show, play bingo, and most of all, watch your back! A fun ship mystery with some true characters! ARC review is voluntary given for this most recent and delightful caper. Makes me want to make a reservation right now!

A fun read that keeps you guessing

This is the 21st in the series and the last one released. Now we need to wait for the next book to come out. The ship leaves England for the 13 day transatlantic crossing back to Miami and the Southampton strangler kills his latest victim at the port the morning of the sailing. Millie believes she is being targeted by the strangler who is believed to be on board. Millie jumps into investigation mode to try and find the killer. Their are many twists and turns with many false twists. As always you do not see the killers identity till the very end. Looking forward to the release of the next book

Another great Millie adventure!! I love this series and this book did not disappoint. The author has written this book so well that the characters feel like close friends or family. It’s warm and cozy and so very hard to put down. I enjoy that the character relationships continue to grow and no one is left out. They may not be the center of the current story but they are still there.
I think this series is one of my favorites because it’s a clean, wholesome, fun series. Lots of adventure and excitement, some comical moments. It brings me joy to read each new book.

A really close call!

A murdered socialite turned journalist is the latest victim of the Southampton strangler! But is it possible that as the Siren of the Seas leaves the British isles for its transatlantic voyage, the strangler is on board? Could it be someone Millie likes and respects? Can all the clues be figured out before Millie becomes the next victim?
A wonderful clean cozy!

Will she discover the truth in time?

Once again Millie and her friends are thrown into a murder mystery. This time a serial killer has gotten on board. Millie's active imagination and her sleuthing once again gets her in trouble. Will she be able to stay out of trouble? Will she find the serial killer before the ship docks? Only her sleuthing mind and you reading another great story will tell.

Can't wait for the release of book #22. I love these characters. Millie, the Captain's wife is snooping again. As they sail from Southhampton, another woman's body was found near the port. After receiving a note that said, "You're next", Millie still won't stop. The head of security puts a bodyguard with Millie as she goes about all of her daily Assistant Cruise Director activities. Will Millie survive being bait for the Strangler?

Love this series! The Southampton Strangler is believed to be onboard the cruise ship. Will Millie’s snooping end her career...or her life? This great new mystery has suspects galore, red herrings, plenty of plot twists and a great cast of characters all tied together by expert storytelling. Strangler on board?

Millie up to finding the strangler before someone she knows becomes the next victim. Stuck on board no shore excursions, seems like several suspects fit the bill. Even Andy? If you read Millie's other adventures you don't want to miss this one. Another great read! Check out the rest of the series too!

Hope Callaghan has written another great mystery

I have enjoyed every mystery in this series. Since Millie became the assistant cruise director and later began dating and eventually married the captain, I have enjoyed a mature woman proving she can handle the job and get the man.

They're leaving the UK

The Southampton Strangler has struck again just before the ship leaves UK. They think the Strangler is on board Millie's ship. Millie and her group have their work cut out for them to catch the killer. I love this series and the situations Millie gets into. Enjoyed the story and characters feel like old friends.

I love this series! As an avid cruiser I can picture every nook and cranny of the ship. The main character, Millie, is an assistant cruise director and former
wife of a private investigator now married to the ships captain. There is always a crime committed aboard the ship and Millie, along with her friends for help, always solves the mystery.

Come for Millie at your own risk

This voyage mystery was a breath stealing sleuthing escapade! Even when or especially when she's targeted by a serial killer, Millie refuses to give up investigating. She's a force of nature and her kind heart gets others willing to help her, even if it gets them in trouble. I am breathlessly awaiting the next seafaring mystery solving adventure!

Hope Callaghan's books are definitely entertaining. She draws you into her stories as if you are one of her characters. There are plenty of humorous moments sprinkled in with the adventures, Millie, the assistant cruise director always is getting involved in. There is no foul language or explicit love scenes, which I also appreciate.

CRUISIN' CONFUSION

Cruise Ship cozies are consistently puzzlers. The crew aboard ship are a wonderful group of mixed nationalities and characters. I appreciate the way Hope uses their personalities to great advantage and uses a strong female to solve the puzzles. Her books are "ship-shape!"

A thriller mystery on a ship in the middle of the ocean

I really liked this mystery with sleuth Millie and andher shipmate friends (and Captain's husband), trying to catch a stranger on board the cruise ship. The mystery was fun but this story had a bit of spine tingling too. Hope Callaghan just keeps getting better.
