I’m a lover of all things books, a hopeless romantic, and have always had a passion for writing. Between being a sappy romantic, my love of an HEA, my crazy imagination, and ok, let’s be real, my dirty mind, I fell easily into writing romance. I’m a huge baseball fan and yet, a complete girly, girl. I’m an obsessive reader and have a slight (hahaha! Slight? Yeah, right) addiction to signed books. I’m married to my very own book boyfriend, an alpha male with a sexy, sweet side. He is the best inspiration, my biggest supporter and the love of my life. He is also incredibly patient and understanding about the fact that he has to fight the voices in my head for my attention. I hope you enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoyed writing them!
I absolutely love Christmas and to get 9 novellas about couples being snowed in over Christmas made for a fun Christmas read. I'm totally in the mood for snow now. ;)
Since these are novellas and the couples fall in love over a very short time frame they are snowed in, it is more of the insta-love romance. Despite reading all 9 straight in a row, I felt they were all distinctly different stories with different type of characters to get to know and enjoy. The only thing you really see a repeat of is the instant connection and the same blizzard that confines each couple in the town of Winter Falls.
I really enjoyed all 9 stories and I even got to read a new author in the mix that has me looking up more of her books. My favorites were Eli & Posey and Logan & Demi. I've read both Layla Frost and Brynne Ashers previous books so to see side characters from their other books come to life in these novellas made their stories a bit more special for me. Great Anthology!
It’s beginning to look like a lot like Christmas- and what a better way to celebrate than with several steamy novellas set in the picturesque Winter Falls?!? Snowed Inn for Christmas will help you deck the halls and trim the tree with all of that holiday spirit - all while delivering some showcase stories for each of these authors. Some are more swoony, some have more heat, and some are downright kinky. Ho ho ho, indeed!
Every novella had it’s charms , and it was fun to see authors bring so many different tropes and authors to the table. I particularly enjoyed the stories from Brynne Asher and Layla Frost. Brynne’s story about Demi and Logan were super hot- and Brynne somehow brings some possessive alpha goodness to a holiday story as this dominant alpha determines to make the adorkable, sweet and sassy Demi his. Lots of great chemistry in this one! And Layla gives me my achilles heel- a tatted up alpha. Falalalala! Eli is back in town for a wedding and crosses paths with the delightful Posey. She’s got some body insecurities- and Eli decides to charm her when they find themselves trapped in a cabin together. This one just warmed my heart. Of course, be prepared for novella length stories- several are a bit instalusty, but all are delicious. “Tis the season!
Christmassy read PERFECTION!!! My holiday's loving heart was full with this one, it is indeed the PERFECT Christmas Anthology! Every single one of these novellas gave me that thrill and comfort I always seek in my holiday reads, to a point I was overjoyed throughout every single one of these little reads. Not only are they amazing on their own, but they blended perfectly into one another, so much so that each unique writing style just added character to its couple's love story! Incredibly sweet, funny and oh so sexy tales that left me with a warm heart and as high - holiday - spirited as can be! An holiday MUST read!<3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Almost every single story in this anthology is about virgins. There was no mention of this in the blurb. I find it odd that they are so many virgins in their mid twenties in this town that are willing to have sex with a man they met 5 minutes ago. There was zero need to have any of these characters be virgins, it added nothing to the stories.
Snowed Inn is a collection of nine novellas. When a Christmas blizzard hits the town of Winter Falls, there are a whole lot of people stranded for the holiday.
“It sounds like it could be a Hallmark movie … or a Dateline special. But definitely nothing in between.”
Forced proximity and some insta-love as sparks fly with no electricity and all the roads closed.
“You’re the one who called this the perfect storm. Logan - A quagmire. Me – A comedy of errors? Logan – Definitely a train wreck. Me – A clusterfuck. Logan – Now you’re turning me on.”
I loved these stories to get into the holiday spirit. They had plenty of heat, heart and swoon! -5 Stars-
Review for: “Force of Nature A Carpino Novel” by Brynne Asher
This novella packed a powerful punch!!! She’s a (legal) Hacker and he’s a workaholic. Who knew they would have so much fun bantering back and forth!
They had such fun banter, sweetness, & snark and had me falling in love with both Demi and Logan from the beginning! I absolutely loved the banter and I loved how Demi put Logan in his place which is why Logan became intrigued and a bit obsessed with Demi from the start.
Logan and Demi
I really can’t say too much because it’s a short read and I don’t want to give anything away. I will say I loved the characters, the storyline, and the fact that we get Carpino family cameos. I especially love that we get a separate little epilogue (a separate link is given at the end of Logan & Demi’s story)…more sweetness! ♥️
Caleb and Raven by Elle Christensen 3 stars Demi and Logan by Brynne Asher 4 stars Saint and Marley by Lucy Darling 4½ stars Lincoln and Bethenny by Fiona Davenport 4½ stars Rowan and Charlee by Ella Goode 4 stars
Winter Falls is in for some extra special Christmas magic as Santa puts his hat into the matchmaking ring. The prologue sets the stage for all nine novellas.
"Love is in the snow. Merry Christmas, Winter Falls" -- Santa Claus
There are plenty of v-cards relinquished and some very over-the-top, insta-love situations going on. 🔥💜🎉 There are also some sweet and funny moments that I found made it easy to give myself over to the Christmas magic. 🎄✨🎅
I've enjoyed all of the ones I've read so far. I've especially loved Frankie Love's, Fiona Davenport's, and Elle Christensen's contributions. I've still got a few more stories to read and I'll update my review as I go along.
Book 1: Lincoln and Bethenny by Fiona Davenport - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Dirty Perfection!
I'm not sure what I expected but that just blew it out of the water! I loved this sizzling novelette with a growly and possessive yet down-to-earth snowboarder and the town's untouched mayor. Perfection! Dirty, dirty perfection! 🌨❄⚡🔥💜
PS. There's also some bonus material. Be sure to read it. So cute and appropriate!
Book 2: Nick and Quinn by Frankie Love - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 You're the Sundae
HO-LY. COW! Sight unseen and Nick is already all revved up over Quinn (love her name, btw!). It's awesome and a very hot way to get this party started. This novelette reads quickly and is insanely, steamingly over. The. Top! I loved it! Longer would've been good but it had a satisfying conclusion. 🔥🔥❄🔥🌨🔥❄🔥🔥
Book 3: Gavin and Tory by Rochelle Paige - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Assist Goes to the Avalanche
It took an avalanche burying them to ensure that Gavin got his wish. Several days holed up leads to several kinds of card games that eventually get naughty. 😍🔥 I liked the story but it didn't grab me the same as the prior two.
The drama with Stephanie was more of a distraction than story building but it does make me grateful that I don't have friends that are that self-centered. The bonus prologue (you have to download separately) should've been where most of that stayed, IMO.
And, while a happy ending, generally speaking, for the new couple, it was also a bit poignant. Tugging at the ol' heart strings.
Book 4: Caleb and Raven by Elle Christensen - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cheese and Snowflake Crackers
First, I must say, I love all of the holiday themed phrases Raven uses to avoid cussing or saying something naughty or that could potentially be construed as a double entendre. Things like "cheese and snowflake crackers", "Holy sugarplums", and "melt my snowmen hot." Even Caleb agrees with me! 🎉
As to Caleb and Raven, they are a riot! I loved to watch their relationship build and explode! 🎉🔥🎉 There's lots of figgy pudding that gets dispensed.
I can't wait to read Colin and Cara's story! It should be VERY interesting. 💋💜
Bonus Novelette: Colin and Cara by Elle Christensen - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Grief and Love
An absolutely perfect addition to the Winter Falls collection that wasn't part of the anthology. Colin is a perfect blend of tender, loving, and caveman. Cara has been starry-eyed for Colin since they were kids, something her grandfather was aware of before he arranged their marriage.
While the reason they had to marry was archaic and sad, them actually coming together was sexy - even if a bottom was reddened first. 😘 Communication issues and misunderstandings occur and I love how Colin handled things, even if he was a little over-the-top. I also love how Raven meddled at the end. 😂❄🎉
The book opens with a prologue from Santa‘s point of view explaining how he plans to make magic happen and pair people together.
~“I couldn’t risk Mrs. Claus finding out about my meddling. She’d put a stop to the whole business and insist I “leave the matchmaking to Cupid.” Cupid? Ridiculous. He might make people fall in love, but I made it magical—and what could be more magical than love at Christmas?”
“…With a thought and a burst of magic, I pushed the storm a little faster so it would hit unexpectedly, then added a little more snow because being snowed in would help drive the couples together.”
** I thought the idea of Santa playing matchmaker to several couples in the same town was a cute idea.
Each of the couples love story is written by a different author. These are really short stories with an insta love / love at first sight trope, some virgins and descriptive bedroom scenes.
1. Bethenny & Lincoln: by Fiona Davenport Read 12/15/21. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ -According to Santa: Bethenny Andersen (Mayor of Winter Falls) is a spitfire who needs someone to take charge and refuse to let her compete with them. The perfect guy needs to give her the ability to settle into herself, rather than always trying to be what everyone needs. -Lincoln Granger is a professional snowboarder who hasn’t had a serious relationship in a long time because he’s been focused on his career. But he’s tired of the travel and ready to retire and move on to the next stage of life. **The only thing that slightly bugged me was the constant “Little One” nickname. Just didn’t work for me. 2. Nicholas & Quinn: by Frankie Love Read 12/16/21. ⭐️⭐️ -According to Santa: Quinn Merrit (whose family owns the local grocery store) knows the importance of family. She has a big heart, a passion for the local food bank, and a love of family and the town. -After having the life sucked out of him because of his job and his family bickering (they own a vineyard) Santa knows Quinn is exactly what Nick needs. **The overused “big package” sexual innuendo with someone you just met just turned me off from the very beginning 3. Gavin & Tory by Rochelle Paige Read 12/16/21 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ -According to Santa, Gavin (head of the ski patrol for the Winter Falls Ski Resort) is a planner and always well prepared for emergencies. So Santa has decided to pair him with someone he is completely unprepared for. -Tory’s heart needs a little rescuing. It’s her first Christmas without her parents (they passed away earlier in the year) and she is all alone. She’s kind and generous. **This couple had more of a believable insta love story. It didn’t feel as forced as the previous two. 4. Raven & Caleb by Elle Christensen Read 12/16/21 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ -According to Santa, Raven Ashley (the owner of the Snowed Inn and Lodge) has a great sense of humor. She’s never lost her love for Christmas magic. -Caleb’s family is trying to buy the lodge but Caleb isn’t on board with that plan. He needs some magic and laughter in his life. **Raven replaced swear words with cute Christmas phrases, so she was a bit quirky. 5. . Levi & Georgina by Hope Ford ⭐️⭐️ -According to Santa, Levi James (ski instructor at the Lodge) is always the first one to step in when needed. He’s a big man with an equally big heart. He’s been looking for Mrs Right for years. -Gina’s fiancé just broke off the engagement, so she’s definitely not looking for love. Her ex convinced her she was frigid, but Levi is just the guy to prove that theory wrong. **This felt really short and I didn’t feel their connection at all. 6. Saint & Marley by Lucy Darling Read 12/18/21 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - According to Santa, Marley Hudson (Deputy of Winter Falls) has always been focused on making sure everyone else’s Christmas is perfect. She doesn’t complain and always has a smile on her face. - Saint is a skilled hacker who worked for the FBI and now has his own security agency. The deputy has caught his eye, and he’s on a quest to win her affections. Good thing Santa is on his side. **There was nothing earth shattering about this couple. This was just ok for me. 7. Charlee & Rowan by Ella GoodeRead 12/18/21 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Charlee & Rowan Whitlock are headed for divorce. Santa feels they will find their way back to each other if they can return to Winter Falls to work on their marriage. So he gives them a little nudge to make sure that’s exactly what happens. **With a married couple, there is obviously a believable connection already established. Therefore this didn’t come off as insta love and no virgin in sight, so this was a refreshing deviation from the other stories. 8. Eli & Posey by Layla Frost Read 12/19/21 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - According to Santa, Posey Danson spends too much time in the studio with her audiobooks. She needs a little excitement of her own rather than living vicariously through her characters. - Eli Becker is just the man to drag Posey away from her microphone and give her a happily ever after. He’s been watching his brothers fall in love and now it’s his turn. **Posey is a curvy girl and I loved that she had confidence and knew she was pretty. In her words “I also knew I was pretty. Not pretty for a big girl. Not pretty despite being curvy. Just plain pretty. The same pretty as any other attractive woman of any other size.” 9. Demi & Logan by Brynn Asher Read 12/21/21 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - According to Santa, Demi Benjamin is smart as a whip and thankfully is using her hacking talents for good. But she works too much and needs to realize there is more to life than work. - Logan Carpino is also letting work take over his life. But after Demi hacked into his company after an online dating “introduction”, he’s definitely interested in finding out more about her. - Demi and Logan don’t start out on the right foot, but Santa is rubbing his hands together in glee thinking about all the fireworks these two will have when comes up with the perfect opportunity to set these two up for a little alone time. **Logan Carpino was yummy!!
This was a nice little short story with characters that I enjoyed.
- Demi Benjamin is smart as a whip and thankfully is using her hacking talents for good. But she works too much and needs to realize there is more to life than work. - Logan Carpino is also letting work take over his life. But after Demi hacked into his company after an online dating “introduction”, he’s definitely interested in finding out more about her. - Demi and Logan don’t start out on the right foot, but a winter blizzard is just the thing to force these two to spend some alone time together and get to know each other Much better!
Ehhh 2.5-3 stars... I really can't figure out how I feel about this novella. It was fine so I'd feel bad giving it less than 3 stars, but as much as I love Brynne Asher's brand of instalove normally it just didn't work for me in this one and that could be the novella length? I don't know, but someone dealing with a stalker who meets another guy online who shows up from another country unnanouced during a blizzard so there's no way for him to leave if she doesn't want him there?? It just rubbed me the wrong way and made no sense especially since they'd only ever talked very briefly a few times at that point (and he was already calling her baby lol). And yes they had plans to meet up in a few days that the blizzard ruined, but imposing/trapping yourself with someone is different than those plans. I'll admit it makes for the perfect romcom instalove scenario. As a lover of forced proximity I'd normally be all over this shit but I think just the circumstances around it all soured it for me. Idk I think this just needed to not be a novella, but it was fun seeing all the Carpino's in the epilogue.
🎄🎄 COVER REVEAL🎄🎄 I'm so excited to be a part of the Snowed Inn for Christmas anthology, releasing November 9! Look at the authors I get to work with on this!
This was a very fast read, and not just because it was a novella, but the story itself is fast paced and this couple is the very definition of insta-love/lust, etc. It’s definitely the type of thing you might read when you’re looking for a quickie. There isn’t a lot of substance to it, but it’s delicious in all the steamy, smexy vibes and details these authors create between Lincoln and Bethenny. No real angst or drama, just good old fashioned love at first sight, claiming her as mine, type of read.
Nick and Quinn by Frankie Love
This is everything a Frankie Love fan wants. It’s insta-everything, over the top alpha hero and a heroine that’s innocent in every way. This is pure steam from pretty much the first moment. Not a lot of substance, but plenty of smexy winter canoodling.
Gavin and Tory by Rochelle Paige
Such a sweet little romance. Gavin’s profession helped to give this some believability as well as the fact that this couple actually interacted with each other before taking things to the next level. This also had a bit of a story to support it. Part of the story had to do with Gavin’s job and the other involved Tory and the drama that placed her in the warming shack. This was a very enjoyable read.
Caleb and Raven by Elle Christensen
This story had a bit of a slower start, which was actually perfect. After the first couple of stories fed the part of me that enjoys an insta-everything romance, I was ready for something more. That’s not to say this wasn’t insta, but it had a build up to it that was enjoyable. Raven definitely won my favorite heroine in this collection due to her hilarious way of cursing.
Eli & Posey - Ring Around the Posey by Layla Frost
This novella, with one of my favorite Hyde hotties, was panty melting delicious! I loved having Eli’s story and Posey was pure perfection for him. There’s just a touch of angst throughout but nothing too heavy. The storyline moves from one situation to the next in quick succession which kept me fully engaged. With characters that I fell hard and fast for, nuclear chemistry, and the right amount of humor, I was sad to see it end and hope we get another look at this couple in the future.
Logan & Demi - Force of Nature by Brynne Asher
Lots of steamy holiday goodness! I loved that Logan was so alpha while being a complete math nerd. Demi was a real firecracker and knew just what to do/say to get one up on him. Their initial interactions had me laughing out loud while their latter ones had me feeling everything. Demi and Logan are exactly what I look for in romance!

°2nd chance °Marriage in trouble (they've been married for 4 years) °Switching POVs °Each other's first and only °The h wants to get a divorce (but not really bc she thought he was going to fight for her but instead he gave her space bc he thought that's what she wanted, basically they have trouble communicating) °OW drama - one of the hero's co-workers told the h that she had slept with the hero before her and that she was going to sleep again with him after she was gone, the foolish heroine never told the hero what the OW said to her, she only asked him to stop working with her; the OW never shows up in the story °No OM drama °No cheating °Pushing away from the heroine - she's been trying to talk to the hero about getting a divorce for 2 years but he always finds excuses to avoid the topic bc he loves her so much and doesn't want her to leave him °No intimate scenes with OP °Epilogue: a few years later

For a novella this story really packed in a lot of sweetness and had me falling in love with Demi and Logan. I loved their banter and I adored Demi for being able to put Logan and I can see why he was so intrigued with her right from the start. Definitely worth a read!

Fall in love with Winter Falls through the eyes of some of the most talented when it comes to romance and see why this is the most magical time of the year.
I love.. adore.. buy up.. devour any anthologies that contain my favorite authors and y'all this one was absolutely spectacular in a lot of ways. Steamy, sweet, fun, packed with all of the Christmas spirit and the BEST feels. The Snowed Inn for Christmas anthology was truly unforgettable in so many moments and in every single story this book had. I mean y'all, who couldn't love a beauty like this when you have talent like Brynne Asher, Fiona Davenport, Layla Frost, etc... on the team.
I definitely recommend this amazing little holiday book to get you into the festive spirit of Christmas and love.
Enjoyed Brynne Asher's story but she definitely showed the other two up as far as writing style and content of story. Showed me who I don't want to explore further.
Well then….I never knew I needed a math nerd but after reading this I think I do! Logan and Demi have the typical Brynne Asher insane meet cute. The beautiful hacker and the cocky successful corporate brainiac. Both don’t have a life. Both didn’t realize how badly they needed to get a life. Until they “meet”. I have to say, this first meet has to be the best one Ms Asher has written so far. Meddling best friend. Crazy brother-in-laws. Overprotective father. Concerned assistant. A stalker. Add in a once in a generation snowstorm and you’ve got the perfect Christmas novella. This not so little novella packs quite a punch and I was here for it all!! Everyone needs a little Carpino in their Christmas and this delivered!

Wow! What a great collection of short stories by some amazing authors. I flew through this anthology, I loved all of the stories and I wanted more. All nine of the stories were great. I highly recommend just one-clicking. What are you waiting for?

Holy hell! Who does not want to spend Christmas with a Carpino! While this was part of the Snowed Inn Christmas anthology, this is larger than your average novella and that was perfect for me because you can never have too much Carpino in your life. Logan and Demi were the perfect couple, they had heat, and their banter had me laughing out loud. Logan is a math nerd, Demi is a computer hacker, throw in a dating app with lots of innuendos and it’s a recipe for a love connection. I absolutely loved this, nobody writes amazing characters like Brynne, and now I want my own Carpino for Christmas!
More Carpino’s for Christmas check✅ Add this to an anthology and make it a novella check✅ Make sure Brynne brings her awesome writing skills check ✅
I absolutely loved this novella. Force of Nature is what every Carpino loving junkie needs. It’s hilarious, it’s angsty and everything you expect in a close proximity enemies to lovers story. I honestly couldn’t get enough.
Logan the brainiac meets his match in hacker Demi. Who would have thought this unlikely duo would hit it off, well not straight away but their chemistry is a blast. Life couldn’t get any better for these two and who knew by meeting one another in a dating app could add so much more to their monotonous lives.
A MUST READ ANTHOLOGY AT THE PERFECT TIME. 5 STARS FOR FORCE OF NATURE A CARPINO NOVEL BY BRYNNE ASHER!!! I absolutely love the Carpino's and Logan and Demi were a great addition. This story was perfect for the holidays....it was hot, fun and loving. Brynne Asher is magical with her words and puts a spell on us readers....you never want a story to end.

This book is so good. It is an anthology of some great authors who write over the top alpha male books about men who see their woman and it's love forever. Especially as they get to know them. It starts at a town meeting the mayor called to remind the citizens of Winter Falls a blizzard is coming and to make sure they have everything they need. And guess who is at the meeting Saint Nick himself. And he has his own brand of Christmas magic. The stories from different authors move from the town hall, to the mayors house to the Snowed Inn to a bar and private homes and they are all excellent. Each author puts her spin on each story and I loved each and every one. Fiona Davenport's Lincoln and Bethenny is over the top and sexy. Bethenny is the mayor and Lincoln is going to a friends house to spend Christmas with them. During the blizzard he gets stuck in a snow bank and walks to her home to get out of the weather. Sparks fly with these two and they are so sexy together. Bethenny finds that she does not have to control everything around her and that she can let go with Lincoln Frankie Love's Nick and Quinn hot hot hot. Quinn works at the market where Nick just made the biggest order that needs delivered to his Nick's rental. Quinn delivers and she gets the biggest delivery of all. Great sexy read. Rochelle Paige's Gavin and Tory end up trapped in a warmer shack after a controlled avalanche. Tory was supposed to be staying with her best friend who was just using Tory to help pay for the cost of the stay at the Snowed Inn and not as a friend. Being stranded with Gavin gives Tory the time to find out that sometimes a best friend is not always the best and Gavin finds a game of strip poker can find you love forever. Loved this sexy fun story. Elle Christensen's Caleb and Raven lets two people know that there is more to life than being comfortable and steady. Caleb is sent to the Snowed Inn to check it out for his family to purchase it. After all everyone has their price according to Caleb's dad. Not Raven and when Caleb sees her it is love at first sight for him. This one is over the top sexy and with everything going on while Raven is running this Inn and the blizzard and a Christmas wedding just makes Caleb love her more. Hope Ford's Levi and Georgina takes a whole different take. She is staying at the Snowed Inn because this is where she was going on her honeymoon until her ex broke up with her telling her she is frigid. But Levi brings out the best in her when they get trapped and it is not long before they are heads over heels in love. Hot sexy fun with this one. Lucy Darling's Saint and Marley are really fun. Saint is a ex FBI hacker that has been stalking Deputy Sheriff Marley ever since he saw her. He calls the police regularly for some silly reason because Marley is so nice they always send her to the easy runs. She mostly fell into the deputy's position because she is so nice and hardly anything bad ever happens in Winter Falls. They are so much fun and over the top loving. Just loved this story. Ella Goode's Rowan and Charlee are a married couple who come home to talk about a divorce she wants. But what she really wants is to keep the love of her life with her if only he would see her and give her all of himself. Their voyage takes them to places they need to go to find their happy ever after but they make it. Really lovely sexy story. Layla Frost's Eli and Posey is great. Posey has the sexiest voice ever and narrates audiobooks for a living. Eli happens to staying at the Snowed Inn for his best friends wedding and meets Posey at The Drop Inn Bar. There is a bit of a misunderstanding at the bar that night but Eli keeps seeing Posey and actually follows her home just as the blizzard hits so he is trapped with her throughout Christmas. Does Eli get back to the wedding in time, no but he does get the girl in the end. I really enjoyed this story and of course the hot and sexy fun. Lastly Brynne Asher's Logan and Demi. This was so much fun, Posey just happens to be Demi's best friend and on a dating app swipes on her phone on a man who they think has a fake profile. But it is not because Logan's brother and brother-in-law put his profile on as a joke. He tells Demi the app was a mistake, she asks him if was he hacked, he tells her he can not be hacked and that makes her mad so she hacks his company. They go back and forth and their dialogue is great. They do get together but the fun of getting them together is so sexy and fun I felt like I was right with them on their ride. Loved it. This anthology is so well written and has so many good feelings and vibes to it. I loved every minute of it. I could not put it down once I started it. Great authors witting great books, this is what it is about. Loved it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is probably the most cohesive Christmas Anthology I have ever read. Though the stories are written by nine separate authors, the characters and story timelines are interconnected. All of them are written in first person from an alternating dual POV. The characters are interesting and just waiting for that bit of Christmas magic that coincides with a huge snowstorm. Santa has gifted these nine couples with a holiday they will always remember and a love to last forever. The town is cute, and I love the way they find insta-love together. Ella Goode includes a married couple second chance story with “Rowan and Charlie” that melted me. Marriage isn’t always easy, and I loved reading as they find their way back to each other. Brynne Asher’s story, “Logan and Demi”, is the longest read at 23 chapters and I fell hard for both nerdy characters. They were both super smart and Logan’s driven alpha ways were just what Demi needs to push herself out of her comfort zone. Other stories in the collection range from six to thirteen chapters. All include an element of forced proximity because of the snowstorm, super steamy times between the couples, alpha heroes, and some include virgins. Together these nine stories took me several days to read, yet I didn’t want to put it down. I literally jumped for joy when I realized another Hyde Garage crew member was biting the dust. I loved Eli and Posey’s story. They meet at a bar and after a terrible misunderstanding Posey ditches Eli. After realizing her mistake, we witness the magic that happens between the two of them. I also loved the cameos from the other Hyde members.
𝓁𝑜𝑔𝒶𝓃 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒹𝑒𝓂𝒾 𝒷𝓎 𝒷𝓇𝓎𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝒶𝓈𝒽𝑒𝓇
I loved that we received Demi’s story after meeting her in Posey’s. After swiping right on a profile things heat up, and the banter back and forth turns things up a notch.
I think I have a fondness for a bunch of stories that happen in the same place, especially if it's at Christmas. This town has gathered appealing authors for me.
For example, the story by Lucy D. combines an adorable deputy and an obsessed hacker who lures her into his lair with chocolate, seasonal decorations and promises of love and lust.
I enjoyed it a lot because the whole trap is funny as it includes an animal as a willing accomplice, a big man with great plans to woo his lady, and a perfectly cosy Christmas time during a snowstorm. Very warm and hot, too :-D
I am drawn to second chance romances when they involve a married couple fighting for their happily ever after. It makes me happy to be comforted that love lasts and overcomes challenges.
In Ella G's story, Rowan and Charlee have become estranged, but divorce papers end up in smithereens when they air up their fears and let go of their inhibitions in bed. It's emotional, sweet, ardent and wonderful.
A pleasure to read these stories at this time of the year :-)
This anthology is a mix of tropes, POV, and a mix of all things holiday. Although, I do love a holiday anthology, this one starts and ends a little bit different. We get the POV of the epilogue and the prologue from Santa and his goals for this group for the holidays. What follows in the inviduatz stories by different authors which some steamy novellas that work well. I really enjoy all of the authors that are in this anthology and I thought that the way in which they come together at the beginning and the end work really well. you can definitely tell that you have groupings of authors that work together on the regular because their novellas seamlessly blend in a way that it doesn't with some others. That being said, it does not take away from the overall story of the book. If you are looking for a holiday novella anthology, this is perfect one!
