MC Daddies #6

Fierce Daddy

Rate this book
She'd lived her entire life in the shadows...
All Tabby had ever really known from men was violence, pain, and betrayal.
So she really shouldn’t trust the smooth-talking, older Razor, with his huge heart and fierce protective streak.
Only, she can’t seem to resist him. His sweet words. Calm dominance. And lord, what that man could do with his tongue . . .
When Tabby finds herself once more a pawn in a game she didn’t know she was playing, will Razor be able to save her?
Or this time, will she save herself?

Please note this book contains elements of ageplay. It includes spanking and a protective, possessive hero who won't give up on his girl, even when she already has.
Tabby's past is dark and includes abuse. Please read the trigger warning before reading.

*sigh* I have been anticipating this book’s release for weeks now.
And it did not disappoint.
This was sweet. And sexy. And filled with tension. There was growth. And danger. Though I think it was more relaxed than most of the other books in this series. The problems seemed less dangerous. More local. And a tiny bit smaller.

But I really enjoyed getting to know Razor. He’s so sweet.
And I love the humor between him and Tabby. Freaking Adorable.

It was slow burn. And I’d honestly call most of her books slow burn. Though we start off with an instant attraction that they both fight for various reasons.

The age play and punishments and all of the kink aspects were, as always, handled with grace and care, like I’ve come to expect from every single Laylah Roberts book.

I really enjoyed it. Though now that I’ve finished it I’m sad it’s over, and I really wish there was more out, or at the very least that I’d stretched out the reading a bit more.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book she releases.
I want more, dammit.

I’ve been rereading all of this series in anticipation for the next book coming out tomorrow, and I swear I fall in love with this author’s writing again and again, every time I pick up one of her books.

Welp. I’m doing exactly what I was the last time I reread this series. Except this time I’m even more impatient, because the book I’m waiting for is the Fox’!
Im so freaking excited!
It’s a MMF and Im pretty sure she hasn’t done one of those with age play yet. I’ve got theories. I’ve got ideas. They’re probably all wrong. But I’m excited and I can’t wait to see who the Fox ends up with. He’s been hinting at things for soooo many books now not even just in this series, but the Montana Daddies series, too.
*swoon*
I love Razor and Tabby, so it’s no hardship to read this book again, but I’m just so freakin pumped to finally get some answers.

Tabby is finally living on her own, after a miserable marriage arranged by her uncle and then being smothered by her cousin trying to make up for his inability to protect her from her late husband. Desperate to live on her own, she approaches the one person she thinks might help her, Razor, a member of the Iron Shadows Motorcycle Club Razor has left his wild youth far behind him, but he still doesn’t feel like he’s good enough for his new receptionist. But the attraction between Razor and Tabby is too strong for either of them to resist. While Razor works hard to keep Tabby safe, he has enemies, and they may succeed in tearing the couple apart. In this book, we revisit the delightful Millie and the intriguing Fox. Tabby proves to be brave, smart, and capable, despite showing Razor her Little side. I would not read this book as an introduction to the Motorcycle Daddies series, but it makes a great addition, wrapping up some questions, and leaving others.

Tabby's Daddy

Another great addition to the MC Daddies series. I love Laylah's longer series, they allow me to get invested for the long haul in a cast of chapters.

This one was lighter on the MC side of things / and the MC characters we know. But don't worry they still appear ;)

There were a few more characters introduced and a few peeks into things we've yet to full unravel. This series keeps bringing me back.

Can't wait to see what's next.

Laylah’s Daddies are the best, and while her Mc Daddies may be a little “rough around the edges”,they all have one thing in common.
They are só sweet with their littles, giving them exactly what they need!
Even if they have to act a little silly, they’ll do it just to make them smile, and i love them for it.
So,getting the ARC of Fierce Daddies is a treat i was very happy to receive, and an honest review is easy!

This time it’s Tabby’s turn, and Razor is the Daddy she needs.
After, finally, being free of her abusive husband Luther, she needs a little space.
Her controlling cousin Jared reluctantly agrees, but only if she accepts the living arrangements he feels necessary.
Being on her own is good, but lonely too….until she saves Cat from her abductors.
It gives her the push she needed to get more out of her life.
And she still has that card Razor gave her…..would he hire her if she applied for the job vacancy he has?

Razor thought about Tabby ever since they saved Millie and her from Luther’s clutches.
Seeing her at his shop, hearing she wants the job?
That’s a chance he’s not going to waste, and he hires her before she reconsiders.
He also knows he’s going to have to be gentle with her, because….well,to put it simple….Luther.
What that a**whipe did to her left scars, maybe not on the outside, but he could see it in her eyes.
Getting her trust was a gift that floored him,but he wasn’t sure he deserved it….

Tabby wanted to keep her job at Razor’s shop, even if she didn’t know what she was doing….
Because he made her feel safe, even if she screwed up orders.
And he made her come out of that shell she’d been hiding in for so long.
If only she hadn’t kissed him….

When circumstances “force” her to stay with him, things start to change, though.
And her new friend Millie’s “sick” sense is sure he feels more for Tabby than she thought he did.
She’s also sure Tabby is the little he needs to be the Fierce Daddy he really is.
Could she be onto something?

I love how Laylah’s Daddies are so very careful with their littles.
How they give them the time they need to get past the trauma’s they have.
And still give them the boundaries, and tlc, they need.
What they get in return,is littles that adore their Daddies.
And they will all do everything to make them happy!
(…..even get into trouble for them)

This is the sixth in the author's DD/lg series about the denizens of a motorcycle club and their Littles. Because we see so many characters from previous series and because there's a crossover with her "Montana Daddies" series, this isn't a standalone. In fact, Ms. Roberts does a real disservice to even her long-time readers by not providing enough information about the ongoing mystery subplot or how Razor and Tabby first met: I've read every book and don't remember; a brief recap would have made this book much less confusing.

As always, the characters are likeable; the men laser-focused on and protective of their women; the kinks/punishment consensual and detailed; and the dialogue amusing. One feature I always appreciate is how supportive the women are of each other since this genre tends to divide them. I also really appreciate the diversity in representation. Finally (in terms of positives), I didn't see a couple of the plot twists coming.

That said, I didn't find either Tabby or Razor that compelling and they were over-shadowed by four strong secondary characters that I hope at some point get their own books. Don't get me wrong: I liked the MC and was invested enough in their relationship, but even though it was a bit atypical since Razor is two decades older than Tabby, I just didn't find the two that distinct. Tabby's idiosyncrasies, for example, are similar to Millie's, who is a much more interesting character. I realize that generic books -- particularly those part of a long-standing series -- will share many similarities, but this reader feels it's time for some variation.

3 1/2 stars. Fans of this author and consensual DD/lg will enjoy this book. I also want to thank Ms. Roberts for her trigger warning, which was more specific than the usual vague "dark" disclaimer without giving away any major plot points. It's hard to tell who will get the next book...

Another home run for Laylah & the Iron Shadows!

Laylah, you did it again! Razor & Tabbie’s book is amaze balls!!! Razor is gruff yet loving, and watching Tabby come in to her own from page 1 on is awesome. I am just so out of superlatives lol. I love that Laylah continues to inter-mingle her series’s & when Rueben show up I literally squealed! And, of course, Fox was there (although my Fox-dar seems to be off; I’ve gotta get that fixed lol), and there were twists that even I didn’t see coming.
I can honestly say that once I pick up a Laylah Roberts book to read, I don’t put it down until it is done, and I can’t say that about a lot of authors. Her latest in her Iron Shadows series is worth every penny & trust me ….. if you are reading it as a stand alone, you are going to want to dive right in to the rest of her series! All in all, amazing author & amazing book. I would give it 10 🌟 if I could!

As always, Laylah Roberts doesn’t disappoint. We revisit our favorite MC, this time for Razor and Tabby. But never fear, appearances are made from past characters and in classic Laylah style, new characters are introduced with enough detail to be memorable (and put on radars for future stories) without taking focus from the primary storyline and couple.

Theres a reason this series is a one click, and this author is a favorite. Without fail, solid characters that continue to develop and don’t take some crazy left turn to fit a storyline, a detailed and flushed out world, an intriguing and continuing overarching plot that leaves us hanging jjjuuuuussssttt enough to look forward to the next book and not dangling off a cliff and of course Laylah’s (what should be) trademarked epic steam.

With respect, attention and care Tabby was able to reach out and start to trust. Betrayal and violence was all she was used to until one moment changed everything. And when she had a chance to try something new she went to the only one she could think of for help. Razor's need for one to care for was well matched by Tabby's need to have someone care for her.

Ms. Roberts has created the normal level of drama and danger that one can expect with a book from this series. All of the characters from the previous books, plus a few new ones, are thrown into the mix to create excitement and anticipation. I can't get enough of this series as It never fails to make me smile.

If anyone deserves a happy ever after, it was Tabby, and that's is just what she got with Razor. She surprised me with her determination and grit. After a lifetime of pain and misery, she was brave enough to put her heart and soul on the line for Razor.

Razor brought light back into Tabby's world. He treated her like precious glass ready to shatter. He tried his best to fight his feelings for the usual reasons. Too old. Not good enough. Rough around the edges with a past that he was not proud of, but Tabby wormed her way into his heart. Razor encourage Tabby to explore her submissive nature and her little within the sanctuary of
their home.

Razor lived up to my expectations. He was beyond protective with a mile-long possessive streak. He could be firm when Tabby pushed the boundaries. In other words, he was the perfect Daddy. Tabby was loyal and loving. The perfect little that that was missing from Razor’s life.

DD/lg romance

No plot spoilers
No potential triggers
There are no grammatical or editorial errors that I can recall.
The characterisation is absolutely perfect, with Tabitha and Razor taking the lead in this book. Where Laylah Roberts gets her ideas from is anyone's guess, but the author really knows how to make the genre work.
As ever, there is some truly engaging dialogue, with laugh out loud moments, particularly Mr Fluffy, the world's laziest dog.
Nice to see previous characters again as well as introducing new faces (Cat and Papi are excellent characters to bring in for extra depth)
The plotline doesn't make any inroads with the Mr X situation, but the Fox shows his face again!
I find the dynamic totally fascinating, and the author totally nails it.
If you are a fan of the genre I have no problem recommending the series.
There are some sex scenes and some swearing.

Laylah has once more stunned us with this exciting and awesome story. Tabby and Razors story is brilliant and we see once more more of the littles, that have entertained in previous stories.
I just loved and admired Tabbys character, pain and violence have been her life, but now living by herself she decides to get a job. She still has kept Razors card all this time. He may be older than her but she really dosnt care.
Razor really likes Tabby but she is young and deserves more, but when she puts herself in danger its time to c llaim her as his.

Lovers of ms Roberts books will not be disappoined in this at all, and im so looking forward to the next in this series.
Definately once more worth five stars plus

I received a copy this book from the author and this is my honest review. Note/TW: This deals with past domestic violence. It also has elements of power exchange and is an age play novel.

This is book 6 in Laylah Roberts' MC Daddies series it can be read alone but it is best enjoyed in order. I truly LOVED this book. The book is part suspense, part humor and part sexy. However, strong believable and well developed characters underpins the whole story. This book is a sit and read straight through book if you can and a will also make a good re-read.

I absolutely loved Razor and Tabby’s story. It is extremely well written, full of Daddy and Little humor, and romantic with a good amount of danger involved. Tabby’s life has been full of danger and abuse until events take care of the abuser. Meeting Razor brings Tabby peace and security that she had been lacking and brings out the Little in her that she was unaware of. If you like Littles stories, you will absolutely love this one. Roberts is the best of the Daddy/Littles authors and this is a prime example. I would highly recommend you read this story.

Razor and Tabby didn't let me down. This was such a good book that I was up until the wee hours of the morning reading it! Tabby is stubborn and determined to live her own life, no matter what he brother says. When she gets a job with Razor, she thinks she'll be okay but trouble always has a way of landing right beside her. The secondary characters were awesome and I loved seeing Reuben, Sunny and a lot of the others!! And Fox is always someone I want to see. But someone is after Razor and it may cost him his life! This story kept me on the edge of my seat as I was reading it! Laylah Roberts books just get better each time and I'm very much looking forward to the next one!!!

Amazing from start to finish

Ms. Roberts never disappoints. With each book she demonstrates how to write brilliant new characters while staying true to the universe she has created. Each new couple quickly becomes my favorite because Ms. Roberts writes such fascinating characters. I want to be Tabby's best friend and I want to curl up in Razor'sap. I love that we keep revisiting beloved characters and that all of her series end up connected. Now if she would just write a story for The Fox already lol.

Fierce Daddy (MC Daddies Book 6) by Laylah Roberts -- Do you know what every slightly unusual group of MC bad boys and their respective girlfriends need? An assassin named Fox! I have no idea why my favorite part of this series is seeing what the crazy stalker, assassin is going to do next, but there you have it! Another great story! Also I want the criminal under lord's wife Cat's story along with Rueben's! Just putting in requests here like I'm important! lol! Happy Reading!

Razor Sharp Wit

One of the things I love about this author is the sense of humor she infuses into her Littles. Tabby and Razor are perfect together, and although this is a lot more slow burn than the previous books, it really worked for the characters.

Fierce Daddy is book 6 in Laylah Roberts' MC Daddies series. The Littles are always getting into trouble and Tabby is no exception. She definitely needs a Daddy! No doubt the hunky Razor can do the job. I loved all the humor Laylah adds to her books. When those Littles get together watch out. Let the fun begin. However there is some danger drama and we get a little "Fox" talk. Lets not forget about how Daddies take care of their Littles when they need some loving punishment when they are naughty. Just another enjoyable read. Kudos!

LOVE!! LOVE!! LOVE!!

Tabby had had a hard life. Razor rescued her from a bad situation, ( Read Millie and Spikes story). Tabby has turned into a bad ass. She has decided to no longer be a victim. She begins to work with Razor at his bike shop. Of course drama has to happen. There’s a great mystery and of course the Fox has to make an appearance. Looking forward to the next book!

Fierce Daddy by Laylah Roberts is incredible. I’m not ashamed to say that I read it all in three hours.
Tabby is wonderfully sassy and, even though she’s suffered trauma from her ex husband, she fights it and doesn’t let it hold her back. She deserves the love she gets from Razor and it’s pretty damn heartwarming.
I am basically completely enamoured by this HEA.
And the Fox is back!

Fierce Daddy

Loved the series! But please we need to know about fox and cat so much more .A new series maybe? Love your work! So many books about Littles don't have a storyline which is sad. Love the flow of this series. It's been well worth the time to read it. If your looking for a well written series with outstanding characters think about reading this one

Fierce Daddy is the sixth book in Laylah Roberts’ MC Daddies series. This book focuses on Tabby and Razor’s romantic journey. They met in another book when Razor helped Tabby escape her abusive ex-husband, Luther. Jared Bertolli, a crime boss, help her making sure she has a secure domicile. Bored Tabby decides to find a job which brings her to Razor’s Bike Shop. Thus, begins their romantic journey until a revenge-seeking detective, Shane Andrews, targets Razor. Will Detective Andrew be successful with his personal vendetta? Will Tabby and Razor find happiness? You must read this book to discover what happens.

I enjoyed Ms. Roberts’ writing style. Her characters are multi-dimensional. The males are alpha males. The women are strong but crave the protection and caring of these dominant males. I appreciate Ms. Roberts’ use of descriptive language. Tabby’s internal monologue is adorable allowing readers to get an extensive picture of her personality. Likewise, the conversation between Milly and Tabby was hilarious. As I immersed myself into this book, I found myself smiling, laughing, and getting annoyed with all the characters. She does a great job incorporating secondary characters from the previous books in this series. Nicely done, Ms. Roberts.

Tabby a demandé.

« Juste quelques ecchymoses.

This might be my new favorite Laylah Roberts book!

I've been antsy to read this one since I've skipped the last few releases (all reverse harems which aren't my jam) and I can 100% say in total honesty that this book has lived up to all the hype. It was full of romance, humor, friendships and feel good moments.

I loved Razor and Tabby. I loved how they had a slow burn romance. The physical attraction was there but it wasn't all about the sexy times. Tabby and Razor each have baggage but their day to day interactions allowed them to get to really know each other and they ultimately start to heal each other. It was a beautiful story of second chances and finding your special someone. Loved it! It felt all the more real and intense when it wasn’t all perfect. These two have bumps along the way but they trusted in each other enough to keep trying until they got it right. That makes a huge impact overall and made this one even more memorable.

I didn't think a cute well timed nose nuzzle from Razor would melt me so much but it did. Even when he did something as simple as hold Tabby's hand, I was a goner. The scenes were so vivid in my mind and it honestly slayed me with how intimate and sweet those moments were.

Leaning in, he nuzzled his nose against hers. Oh, Lord. That was so sweet. She loved when he did that. Her eyes fluttered shut and he kissed each lid. Her nose. Her cheeks. Chin. Then her lips. She sighed happily as he drew back and she opened her eyes.

Fierce Daddy is a book I know I’ll be reading again and again. Can’t wait to add it to my bookshelf when it comes out in paperback!

“I won’t treat you like your fragile, but I will treat you like you’re special. Because you are. My special girl.”

That right there, is why I read Laylah Roberts.

I have loved this series so much. I’m not one to start an unfinished series but though these were standalone. Unfortunately there’s a huge part of the story that connects these books, and since the series is not finished, I really hate the wait between books.
I completely forget the characters. So this book references an incident that happened a couple of books ago, which is when these two main characters met for the first time. Do I remember? Hmm nah, but it was still an awesome read. I feel like this particular book was a tiny bit of a miss for me for ALOT of reasons but mainly I didn’t love the ddlg relationship in this one. Not sure if it’s all the disciplining to an abuse victim or some of their more cringe-worthy conversations, or just the over all (and this is a huge one for me…) lack of heat. The book focuses a lot on the ddlg relationship with a good amount of time on age-play and little time. This is a full time ddlg relationship which sort of makes it a lot less steamy overall. I got almost to the end of the book and realized they never even had sex. I know they practically just met, but she moved in and is sleeping in bed with him, but never had sex with him? Meh, they finally get it on near the very end but it was sprinkled between corner time, figging & writing lines. I love daddy dom books but I think this series is starting to be a miss for me with lack of heat and too much age-play & disciplining. I’m still giving it a good rating because if that’s your thing, this is an excellent book and you honestly cannot get a better author than Laylah Roberts for your ddlg fix!

1.5* I didn’t enjoy this one. Tabby acts like an idiot, everyone treats her like one, & no actual Mc again!

I really really enjoyed Jewel and Jason’s book but this one was boring, annoying and Tabby acts like an idiot. It’s so annoying as she bumbles along doing stupid things. Like standing in front of a drunk enraged customer who gets violent with her! I’m not really a fan of books about women who have no life, no friends, no job, and the man (Razor) comes along and saves her and gives her a life, a job and instant friends. Yawn…

The other really annoying thing about this book is the lack of counselling. Tabby has had a hard life and a traumatic, abusive marriage, that has led her to be frightened of all men. (That seems to be intermittent at times.) When her cousin lets her leave his house and move on her own, (See what I mean about everyone treating her like she’s an idiot?) she manages to get a job working for Razor at his garage. I’ve got to say that I loved Razor. He was so caring and sweet with Tabby, but why, why, why didn’t he insist on her having counselling??? She’s got some major issues with him even touching her at times.

There isn’t really a plot to this one. There’s a minor appearance of Fox and the book didn’t really match with what it was supposed to be about. Yet again there’s nothing about the Mc! Razor didn’t set foot in the club once. There’s also no mentions of any club business. IT’S NOT AN MC! 🤬

A wonderful read, action packed and Daddy and little adventure you will love

Tabby has had a life that up unto now has been hell and she was rescued and has been staying with her over protective cousin, finally she broken away and has decided that she has to stop hiding and must start to live.

Razor could not believe his eyes when Tabby arrived on his doorstep asking if she could apply for the job in his reception, he knew how brave she was and what she had endured and employed her. Her bravery and kindness knew no bounds and he knew that she was his little, she was so timid and undervalued he wanted to show her nothing but love of a Daddy.

As the story takes off it is filled with characters from previous books and the action and adventure is totally over the top and I have to warn you that once you begin reading this wonderful book you will not be able to put it down,

I guarantee that you will be hooked and it will be a very late nigh as you discover the outcome.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

.

We previously met Tabby back in the story with Millie and Ink however only briefly. This book explores her character and like Millie she is fiercely protective of other people jumping in to save them even when it isn’t safe to do so. She’s had a traumatic past which makes it hard for her to build relationships with people but even still her bravery shows no bounds when it comes to people she cares for - even if her methods aren’t always the right way to go about things. It’s lovely to watch her go from this shy timid girl who can’t make eye contact to a little sass pot.

Razor is another of the ultra possessive Daddies but he’s also an idiot at times and takes his time to see what is right in front of him, he’s trying to be careful because he knows of Tabby’s past but he goes a little too slow at times and it can make him appear like he isn’t interested and for Tabby who hasn’t had much life experience she feels rejection and Laylah portrays both characters sides wonderfully.
