Say You're Mine

*Running Time => 8 hrs. and 10 mins.*

I swear I didn’t mean to flirt with Brayden Clarke - especially not right in the middle of an interview for a job. It was a gut reaction to his smoldering eyes and deep voice. To my total disbelief, he gives me the assignment. I can handle the job, but the sexy man who's intent on getting under my skin might be too hot to resist.

But our lives are too different. He’s under constant scrutiny. I thrive on freedom and spontaneity.

When we’re together, all our differences fade, and I can’t get enough of this man. And he won’t quit until he makes me his.

Say You’re Mine is the first book in the Gallaghers Series and it follows the story of Brayden and Isabelle. When it comes to fame and relationships, Brayden quickly learned that those two do not mesh. As the lead singer of a super popular band, he’s always in the spotlight and under scrutiny. So, when his manager brings on Isabelle to help Brayden and his band with their communication issues, he didn’t expect his world to get turned upside down….Isabelle moved to New York in the hopes of starting over. She’s amazing at her job and couldn’t be happier to have a practice she can call her own. She’s over the moon at the opportunity to work with Brayden and his band. But Brayden is far too tempting for his own good. He’s the kind of guy she never saw coming and is proving to be impossible to resist….

Overall, I found this book to be a quick and easy read. I easily devoured Say You’re Mine and had the hardest time putting it down. I found this book to well written and entertaining. The characters were easy to connect with. I fell for Brayden and Isabelle instantly and couldn’t wait to see where their story was going to take us. The sparks between Brayden and Isabelle were instant and the two of them just burned up the pages together. Say You’re Mine is definitely a case of insta-love done right! I couldn’t get enough of Brayden and Isabelle. I loved the ease of their relationship and how these two just got one another. Both of them super busy with life and no time for love. However, fate had other plans for the two of them and before either of them knew it, the pull was impossible to ignore.

One of the things I love about romance novels from Layla Hagen is that they are written with heart and full of steam. Her male characters are alpha males and never disappoint. Say You’re Mine was everything I hoped it would be. Brayden and Isabelle’s story checked off all of my boxes with a sweet and sexy romance that was light on the drama and in the end left me with a big smile on my face.

I think this series is off to a really great start and I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

Layla Hagen is one of my go-to authors for charming, steamy, low-drama contemporary love stories. Stories that feel real, authentic, and so tenderly sweet. While I was excited for the new Gallagher family series and this first book, I’ll admit the rockstar storyline has never been a favorite of mine, and I was curious to see the Layla spin. But, I should have known Layla would bring her charm and gentle softness to a trope that normal is all edge and angst. Say You’re Mine as the insta-love, happy-feels I’ve come to expect from Layla, and I simply adored Brayden and Isabelle

Brayden and his band GreenFire are internationally famous rockstars - and he doesn’t exactly live the kind of lifestyle that makes it easy to have a real and authentic romance, something he hasn’t really been looking for. Until he lays eyes on Isabelle, therapist and part-time tour manager, and suddenly he’s willing to work through the unusual obstacles of his profession just for a moment with her- the woman who inspires something in him, the woman who has no interest in him for his fame. Brayden is all kinds of broody and alpha in places, but he’s so endearingly charming in how easily he devotes himself to Isabelle. And I adored Isabelle. She’s sensible, patient, and supportive and loyal without being a pushover.

Layla stories always demonstrate how sweet and easy love can be- if you just lean into it, if you just invest in someone. And even in this rockstar life, she brings that same point of view- that love can be low drama, straight forward, and open. You’ll get all the swoony feels and smiles from this charmer. Looking forward to the series!

A Great Beginning For This New Series! Rock Star Brayden Falls Hard For Feisty Isabelle, Who Isn’t Familiar With His Music & Is Not Impressed By His Fame. Brayden & Isabelle’s Story Is Full Of Sass & Flirty Banter, Not To Mention The Fiery Chemistry That Ignites Almost Instantly.

ABOUT THE SERIES:

This is the first book in The Gallaghers series of related standalones. It is a spinoff of the Very Irresistible Bachelors series, which centers around the Winchester family, and picks right up in the same world where the last book of that series left off. In fact, it had been originally intended to be part of the Very Irresistible Bachelors series. The Winchester family remains in the background, just the like Gallaghers had increasingly become part of the Winchester family in their series. Nevertheless, it is absolutely not necessary to have read the Very Irresistible Bachelor series first to enjoy the Gallaghers. Though books are best enjoyed in sequence, any book in either of the series can be read on its own. Fans, however, will appreciate learning more about this close-knit family by reading the series in order.

Note that two of the Very Irresistible Bachelors books are crossovers between the Winchester and Gallagher families. Book one, You’re the One, is Josie Gallagher’s story with the Caldwell’s close cousin. Book four, One Beautiful Promise, is Laney Smith’s story with a Winchester brother. Laney had been to the Gallagher family what Josie had been to the Winchester family. Each was taken in and welcomed like family. Laney and Isabelle Gallagher have been best friends since their youth. Laney grew up spending a lot of time in her best friend’s home, and the Gallagher boys are like brothers to her.

A QUICK OVERVIEW OF THE WINCHESTER AND GALLAGHER BOOKS (INFO TO DATE):

Very Irresistible Bachelors Series:
1. You’re the One: Hunter Caldwell (32) & Josie Gallagher (30) *As it opens it is the 4th of July*
2. Just One Kiss: Ryker Winchester (30) &. Heather Prescott (28)*As it opens it is early March*
3. One Perfect Touch: Robert Dumont (33) & Skye Winchester (32)*As it opens it is just past the 4th of July weekend*
4. One Beautiful Promise: Cole Winchester (~30) & Laney Smith (~28)*As it opens it is March; newlywed Skye is 7 months pregnant*
5. My One and Only: Liam Harrington (36) & Tess Winchester (35)*As it opens it is mid-September, sometime after Skye delivered baby Jonas. Heather is pregnant and showing*

The Gallaghers Series:
1. Say You’re Mine: Brayden Clarke (30) & Isabelle Gallagher (~29)*As I opens it is just after July 4th; Tess and Liam are still engaged. Ryker and Heather have welcomed a newborn son Ray. More recently, Hunter and Jose brought home newborn Sophie – roughly around the second week of June*
2. When You’re Mine: Dylan Gallagher & Mel Dawson
3. Because You’re Mine: Ian Gallagher

ABOUT THE GALLAGHERS:

The Gallaghers hail from small town Montana. They come from a modest background, but are a tight family. Josie is the eldest. She is followed by Dylan, then Isabelle. Ian is the youngest.

Josie Gallagher is an attorney. After winning a scholarship, she left home in high school to attend a private boarding school that catered to the wealthy in New York. She soon befriended Hunter Caldwell, who had defended her when bullies made fun of her poor clothing. Hunter is a cousin of the Winchesters and was practically raised in their family. Through him, Josie was welcomed into the Winchester family and grew close to Skye and Tess Winchester. She and Hunter became best friends over time, and eventually much more. Hunter and Josie’s story is book one of the Very Irresistible Bachelors series, You’re The One.

Dylan and Ian Gallagher own a software company together. After spending some time setting up an office in Washington, they have just moved to New York to start a new subsidiary there. This finally brings all the children together again in one city.

Dylan had been the romantic brother. Until not too long ago he had had a long-term relationship and was hoping to settle down, but Lina suddenly decided they weren’t right for one another. He has since been nursing his broken and jaded heart by fully taking advantage of his bachelor status. He in now an avowed bachelor.

Ian had worshipped his older brother when he was small, but he never did become a romantic. He has always enjoyed a bachelor lifestyle and has no plans to change. He is less serious and more playful.

Isabelle Gallagher moved to NYC roughly one year ago. This is her story.

Laney Smith gets special mention as Isabelle’s best friend from childhood. She moved to NYC for her residency after medical school, then met and married Cole Winchester. Cole and Laney’s story is book four of the Very Irresistible Bachelors series, One Beautiful Promise.

IN THIS BOOK:

This book opens just after the fourth of July holiday.

Brayden Clarke, thirty, hails from Blue Falls, Oregon. Raised by farmers, he has fond memories of growing up in his small hometown. He is an only child, but has always been close with his two cousins, Jana and Donna. Brayden always liked music, and once he learned to play guitar in high school he became rather popular with the girls. His mother always supported and encouraged his interest in music, even though the work on he farm was never ending. He was excited to move to NYC for college and take in everything new. He made good friends during his freshman year at NYU, and their shared love of music led them to form a band. It was then that Brayden learned to play the piano, which has been favorite instrument since. Four years later their band’s success skyrocketed, after several years of intensive touring, they had become a musical powerhouse. Twelve years after it all began, Brayden’s life is very different than he might have once imagined. Success comes at a price.

Brayden had a girlfriend in the early days of the band, but decided relationships and fame don’t go well together after that went bust. He hasn’t been home to Oregon for years; he learned the hard way just how problematic that can be. He has become somewhat of a recluse. That isn’t to say he doesn’t enjoy going out with the guys and picking up women, but he prefers to avoid crowds and treasures his alone time. His penthouse is his private retreat. He only welcomes his family, which occasionally travel to New York to visit with him, and his bandmates.

The rock band GreenFire has just released their latest album. Brayden sings and plays piano. Lars plays guitar. Thomas is on drums. Harvey plays a variety of instruments but most often plays the violin. They are now at a point in their careers where they are making more calculated decisions. The worldwide tour for their new album begins in October. Seventy concerts in eleven months is a big undertaking, though scaled back from their first two tours. But not everything is going as expected.

When their trusted manager Sasha calls the guys in for a meeting, they are a little on edge. It turns out that the record execs are eying the new album’s early sales and not too happy. They think the band has an image problem. The guys clean and aren’t plagued by scandals, but the fans feel disconnected. After years as their manager, Sasha knows the guys aren’t hip on big PR blitzes or anything that exploits them personally. She comes up with a unique idea to drum up sales, hoping to get the guys to buy into it.

Isabelle Gallagher, roughly twenty-nine, is finally settled into life in NYC. She left her childhood home in Montana behind when she left for college in Philadelphia, where she had stayed until just a year ago. She hasn’t had a relationship in several years now, just occasional dates, so the she gave into the urge to follow her sister and best friend to New York. She earned a master’s degree in counseling, then went on to earn a second master’s degree in behavioral science. She needed to supplement her income after opening her private practice in NYC, and loved her part-time gig as a tour guide so much that she hasn’t completely given it up even though she no longer needs it. She loves getting out, meeting new people, and seeing new things. Seeing everything from the eyes of awestruck tourists keeps her enamored of her new surroundings. Isabelle is full of life. Always confident, positive and upbeat, her energy is contagious. She is unapologetically bossy and has a propensity for sassy comments. Her fiery red hair matches her feisty behavior.

When Isabelle lands a unusual job for a band, she is thrilled with the opportunity to do something exciting and different, more in line with her behavioral science degree. She will be doing a profile on the band members and their fans, then identifying ways for the band to better communicate, but keeping within their comfort zones. While she has heard of GreenFire, she isn’t familiar with their music. She doesn’t expect the cold reception she receives upon meeting the band, though, and has second thoughts about accepting the job. Brayden seems to be the only one interested in cooperating. His magnetic personality and bold flirting ignite some crazy banter, but she knows better than to accept the job if she cannot get them all on board.

Brayden and Isabelle’s story is full of sass and flirty banter, not to mention the fiery chemistry that ignites almost instantly. The guys of GreenFire are an interesting group. Thomas married five years earlier, but the other three have remained bachelors. They have grown to be like brothers, which is nice. It is great to see that they treat their profession as a job and have never succumbed to substance abuse. Brayden’s talent and magnetism make him a natural rock star, but clearly he hasn’t adapted well to the fame part of the equation. He sees in Isabelle things that he longs for but doesn’t have. She loves her tight-knit family. She loves being out and about. And she loves people. Her counseling practice is gratifying as she helps her clients to find happiness in their lives, too. She is endlessly patient and resourceful, qualities that help her as she and Brayden begin a relationship together.

But the couple has an expiration date: early October. That is when Brayden leaves on tour. Isabelle is overdue for some fun, though, so as long as she can keep the end date in mind she is game. For Brayden, Isabelle is an opportunity to feel normal again. That she isn’t familiar with the band’s music makes her a novelty; that she looks at him as a man and not a rock star makes her irresistible. As the couple begins to get to know one another, they get lost to world around them. But as much as Brayden finds himself falling, he knows he has to give Isabelle up. Asking her to stay would require asking her to give up the freedom that she so loves. The couple faces a few bumps along the road, but they eventually finds a happy ending.

Brayden and Isabelle’s story is a great beginning for this new series. Rock star Brayden falls hard for feisty Isabelle, who isn’t familiar with his music and is not impressed by his fame. The story is wonderfully written. The plot is somewhat complex. The characters are carefully crafted and three dimensional. It is wonderful to see the Winchesters again, and to read about the newly born babies. Brayden is strong and confident. He is unafraid to take charge. He knows everyone is replaceable, which isn’t always the case when it comes to rock star stories. It is the reason he and Isabelle work. Isabelle is sometimes a little too much. Her sassy comments and endless optimism sometimes feels inauthentic, but it seems to be her personality. Still, she is a great match for Brayden, who needs a push to get him out of his comfort zone. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Brayden and Isabelle. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

Say You're Mine is the first book in The Gallaghers series by Layla Hagen. If you have read any other book by LH you will know that her books are stand-alone, but many characters from other books/series will appear. As I said though, each book can be read on its own, but it will probably make you want to read more books from the author.

I started reading Say You're Mine when I was in a book funk because usually, a Layla Hagen book will get me out of it, and once again her magic worked! I had a weird moment when I thought that Brayden was a woman, but I realized my mistake after a page or two. After that, everything went very smoothly and I am happy to say that it a 5-star read. Brayden's band is tamer than I was expecting, which isn't a bad thing. For one thing, I was happy we didn't have to deal with groupies.

The romance was on point. I couldn't ask for anything more and I was happy with the way our characters were dealing with everything that was thrown their way. Isabelle was a very good heroine. She wasn't exactly as I thought she would be after seeing her in the other books, but I still liked her a lot.

We get to see a lot of Isabelle's siblings. Ian and Dylan are her single brothers, while Josie was the heroine in "You're The One". There is some drama, mainly between Dylan and Ian, but it doesn't take anything from the book. I am looking forward to seeing the boys find their happily ever after and more of Josie and Isabelle.

This is just my opinion. It's okay if others don't agree with me. Just means that we have different interests in books.

ANYWAY...

I cannot tell you enough how bored I was with this book. There's sweetness and barely any rough patches to get through and to me, that is very very boring. The characters weren't real to me and I didn't feel a connection.

Layla Hagen is one of my favorite authors to read. I love her brand of romance and she delivered on yet another feel good read. If there is one thing this author does well it's family sagas. This story is the start of a brand new series into the lives of the Gallagher family, and is a spin-off from the Winchester family series. And if Say You’re Mine is any indication I can already tell I'm going to love these characters just as much as her others. I was so excited to start reading this and boy did it deliver. Everything about this story was so refreshing and sweet. From start to finish I was so obsessed with this book. Isabelle and Brayden were so perfect together. I simply could not get enough of these two and their flirty banter. The raw passion between these two was enough to make any woman swoon. Additionally with this story being paired with low angst and Layla Hagen's usual sweet, flirty, charming conversations with well developed characters meant this was an easy and delectable read.

This was a story that had me hooked from the start and wondering how things were going to work out. I loved the story line, the characters and the hot amazing chemistry that they had. I always love the family dynamic that Layla always incorporates in her books. For me, it makes the story that much more heartfelt. Overall a captivating story filled with heart. I can't wait for the other siblings stories.

Say You're Mine starts off a new spinoff series from Layla Hagen's Irresistible Bachelors series. It is a standalone, but the connections between the characters in the IB books are explained well enough.

This instalove story is entertaining and lighthearted. Brayden's band needs some social media assistance to connect with their fans, so Isabelle is hired to do an analysis. There is an instant connection between them, even though they (of course!) try to resist one another. I love that Isabelle doesn't care that Brayden is one of the biggest singers -- and of course that is what he finds intriguing about her. She could care less about who he is, and he finds the possibility of being in a real relationship with her intriguing. She's kind, honest and down to earth, and the more time Brayden spends with her, the more he realizes that he wants to be with her.

But Isabelle and Brayden can't live their lives in a bubble. Will she be able to handle the scrutiny and life in the spotlight that goes along with being Brayden Clark's girlfriend? Will their romance go past the expiration date of when Brayden's band leaves for their next tour? There are many ups and downs to their relationship as they navigate trying to find a middle ground. This story was well-written, and Isabelle and Brayden are great characters who are easy to connect with.

I look forward to seeing more from the Gallaghers in this series! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

5 star review of Say You’re Mine (The Gallaghers #1) Layla Hagen

I was so excited when I learnt that Layla Hagen had a new series releasing and I jumped at the opportunity to read and review Say You’re Mine.

If this book is anything g to go by then Ms.Hagen is off to a great start. Ms.Hagen’s writing is strong, with characters that are easy to relate to and I found myself totally invested in the story that she wove from the first to the last chapter.

Set in the rock world, this is Brayden Clarke and Isabelle Gallagher‘s story. Brayden is the lead single of one of the world's top rock bands and Isabelle is hired to help Brayden and the other members relate to their fans.

Neither of them expected to be attracted to one another and this complicates matters, particularly as Brayden is concerned that his fame and lifestyle will scare Isabelle away. Despite not being impressed by his fame or money, Isabelle finds herself drawn to Brayden.

I loved them both, but Isabelle in particular was a favourite as she is focused and determined to succeed at her job. I enjoyed the banter between them which had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions. This book was steamy, passionate, witty and ticked the boxes fro me.

I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

This is an ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Say You're Mine by Layla Hagen is book 1 of the new series, The Gallaghers. This book continues where the Very Irresistible Bachelors series leaves off. This can be read as a stand alone. The Winchester family connections are explained thoroughly.

Brayden is a rock star who's band needs help with social media to keep their fans engaged and get new ones. Isabelle is a therapist who also does social media analysis in between her shifts as a tour guide. There's an instant connection even though they try to resist. There's the usual back and forth, a little drama, and a whole lot of heat.

This book is a great new start to The Gallaghers series. I can't wait to see what the other boys get themselves into as well as the updates on the Winchesters.

[1.75 stars] book isn't terrible, it just felt too "smooth" and predictable. and the characters "i love you" came sooner than expected because they don't felt that connected to me at that point of time.

Rating: 4.5/5

Say You’re Mine is the first book in The Gallaghers Series by Layla Hagen, a sassy and swoon worthy romance between a rock star and a counselor that will leave you wanting for more.

At the beginning of the story we get to meet, Brayden Clarke, lead singer of GreenFire one of the most famous bands around. The band has reached international acclaim, all while topping the charts in the U.S. and abroad. In the twelve years as a band, they have experienced a lot of crazy fan encounters and a breach over their privacy that they are not willing to let go ever again. But it’s their recent album that didn’t reach the amount of sales that the executives were hopping for, that they decided to bring in an expert to help give the band pointers on how to communicate better with the fans, while still remaining private.

That’s when Isabelle Gallagher comes in and it’s one look at her that has Brayden swooning over the woman that is not impressed his fame. She is a breath of fresh air, her sass and her ability to go after what she wants keeps him intrigued by her. Yet, even though he has chemistry with Isabelle, he can’t think about having a future with her. His constant scrutiny by the press makes him unable to give in to the possibly of relationship. It’s the more time they spend together, that makes him realize just how much he is willing to do in order to keep Isabelle for good.

Coming from a small town, Isabelle Gallagher has always wanted to move to New York City. Now that she does, she is ready to get her practice off the ground and start new opportunities. But it’s her new job that will ultimately change her life forever. Her job is simple, to advise the band on how to give the fans what they want while giving the band the privacy that they want. To do that she would have to spend time with each member, but one member stands out the most, Brayden Clarke. He is magnetic and the way he is with her makes her feel wanted and cherish. Their chemistry is off the charts and the more time Isabelle spends with him, the more she stars to fall for the man that every woman wants. Nothing comes easy when it comes to being in the spotlight, no one could have prepared her for just how much her life was going to change just by being with Brayden. It would be through obstacles to test what they truly want and to see if she is ready for the life that comes with being famous.

I throughly enjoyed reading Say You’re Mine, it was sizzling from beginning to end. The character know what they want and their relationship progresses quickly in the book. Brayden is completely smitten with Isabelle, she is refreshing to him and he likes the fact that she is not like other women has has met in the past. She is sassy and their banters are sweet and hilarious. It’s when they decide to go public that things quickly change for them as they are scrutinize by the media and followed by the fans. It’s in one of those moments that they have to decide if they are willing to let all of that hurt their relationship or not. Although it’s told in dual POV, we get some really great secondary characters that make the story that much better. The ending was sweet, though I wish it would’ve had an epilogue, still it was great and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. I would highly recommend checking out this book if you love swoon worthy rock star romances! :)

Let’s talk about “Say You’re Mine by Layla Hagen”, first book in The Gallaghers series.
❤️
We should change Layla’s name to Ms. Swoon Master. Seriously, there is not a book from her that I don’t end up loving and swooning hard! She is one of mine favorite romance author and she always delivers an epic romance, with low drama, but one that feels real, close to home, steamy and with an insane amount of scenes that cause the butterflies in my stomach to go crazy. I was a little afraid about the rockstar trope, which isn’t a favorite of mine. But afraid not, it was perfect.

I loved Isabelle since when she appeared in another series, but after this book I adore her. She is a simple girl, works hard as a therapist and also enjoy her part-time gig as a tour guide in NYC, but when she is hired to temporarily work with the Greenfire, a worldwide famous rock band, her life is forever changed. From the moment Brayden, the group leader meet her, their attraction is instant. Although both of them try to deny, their connection is too strong.

They are opposites in every way of life, but in the end they were exactly what each other were missing in their life. I loved how open they were with one another and when Brayden realized that she was the one for him, there was no stopping his pursue, he would lay the world at her feet and she would became his. Isabelle was a force to be reckoned with, she was captivating, strong, sensible and amazing.

One of the things I loved the most in them, was how they respect and support one another. Even with the challenges his career presented to both of them, especially to her, they proved that when you want something you find a way, that love can be easy. I’m enchanted with this book and is absolutely a favorite of mine from Layla. I hope we’ve got to see more from the other guys in the band, maybe a future series? I’d love!

If you are looking for a low-angst romance with loads of charm and sparks, then read Say You’re Mine, the first book in the new Gallagher family series by Layla Hagen. This insta-love, feel-good romance is some of the author’s best work as she pairs therapist and part-time tour guide Isabelle Gallagher with international music sensation Brayden Clarke. Brayden and his friends formed GreenFire, a rock band, and had a very competent manager, Sasha. Everyone lives in New York City and once their eyes met for the first time, they were fully committed to getting to know one another and making it work.

Sometimes it’s nice to read a book without all the drama, and this book tells the tale of how a relationship should be. I liked that they met as strangers and were instantly attracted to one another and how possessive Brayden became. He had plenty of women vying for his attention, but he only had eyes for Isabelle and claimed her as his more than once. I admired how she accepted and supported his career path and was willing to adjust her life plan to be with him. Love that lasts is a give and take and these two prioritized spending time together–especially naked, sharing their feelings, and not playing games.

Isabelle has three siblings. Her sister Josie is married to Hunter Winchester whom we met in previous books, and they have a newborn, Sophie. Her two brothers, Ian and Dylan, run a software company and are both single but NOT ready to mingle and Isabelle can’t help but get involved, especially since she is a therapist. I can totally relate and loved their deep bond, easy nature, and loyalty to one another. Looking forward to reading more and hopefully catching up with some of the past characters.

Say You’re Mine
The Gallagher’s #1
Layla Hagen
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pure perfection! I know Layla excels at writing sexy, alpha men, but she even kills it with rock stars. I truly adored Brayden and Isabelle, 2 totally different personalities but explosive together means this is Story you won’t want to put down, I know I didn’t. Say You’re Mine is the first book in the Gallagher family series, and like Layla’s other stories, mixes in previous characters into a new storyline to take place in your heart!

Isabelle has moved to New York for a fresh start, she’s got a successful therapy business, and does city tours on the side, she is very popular amongst her clients, and is a bit of a commodity on the city tours too. Pretty much everyone loves her, she has a lust for life many wish for but never find. She’s an all round ray of sunshine. When she is contacted by Greenfire’s manager to work with the groups online presence with fans, she jumps at the chance, but it is lead pianist that really takes her breath away. It’s Insta love for Brayden and Isabelle.

Rock star Brayden Clarke and his team mates make up Greenfire, they’re talented, loved by millions and very “right now”. They have everything they could want…. Fame, money, but only one has found love. Brayden doesn’t have time for that, women are great on the side but right now it’s making music and partying. Enter Isabelle Gallagher, she’s sexy as Sin, sassy like no other, and is about to steal Brayden’s heart… she was sent to help Greenfire, what she finishes with is the rock worlds eligible bachelor removed from the market. You just know the drama will follow….

Brayden hooking up with a nobody is drama….. But it’s drama you’ll want to read, enjoy and love. Trust me!

5* Sexy Rock Stars

I absolutely loved Say You’re Mine, the first book in the Gallagher’s Series. From the first page read I knew that this story was going to be heartfelt and unlike any of the other Rockstar books I have read which are always filled with so much drama and angst. Layla’s storytelling is full of love and kindness and characters that you will easily fall in love with.

When the very sassy Isabelle Gallagher is hired by the famous band GreenFire to improve their rapport with their fans she has an instant connection with the very sexy Rockstar lead singer Brayden Clarke. Unbeknown to her Brayden feels the attraction too but he guards his heart and avoids any form of relationships. When their attraction cannot be denied anymore, they decide to embark upon a short-term relationship and end things when he goes on tour with his band. However, the chemistry and pull between them is so strong and before they know it, they are making plans for the future.

I was so invested in their love story and it felt so real, especially when Isabelle went on tour with Brayden. I love the way Layla always integrates the past characters we love so much; in this story we catch up with the Winchester and Gallagher siblings and they are as loveable as ever.

If you are looking for a sexy Rockstar romance with very little angst, plenty of sexy moments then do not hesitate to pick up this wonderful, good feel story.

An ARC was received, all opinions are my own.

In this first book of a new series, we get a strong, sassy female and her swoony lead singer. Cameos by some of our favorite couple of past series. Quick attraction and low drama.

Isabelle Gallagher, a therapist and part time tour guide, meets her latest clients hired by their record label, the band, GreenFire. She will be working with them to open the lines of communication with their fans. Brayden, the lead singer, is instantly attracted to Isabelle and convinces his less than onboard band to work with her.

Isabelle is loved by all, and she is honest and smart. Her dialog with Brayden is hilarious most of the time. Unlike any female before, Brayden is drawn to Isabelle, and the fact she did not know who he was in the beginning, is a plus. They agree to spend time together before he goes out on tour, where he spoils her. Will these two busy people make it work? Can he get past his fears?

Highly recommend this book, and I am looking forward to the next one in this series.

I received an advanced copy from the Author; this is my voluntary review.

This is a great start to a new series! I was instantly hooked and loved the characters and how different they were. This was an excellent rockstar romance with everything you love and more. Brayden was swoon worthy and I just loved Isabella. I definitely recommend this story! It's well written and just makes you feel all the feels. ~Andrea

Say You’re Mine is book one in the Gallagher series. This is Isabelle and Brayden’s story, and in true Layla Hagen fashion, this story gives you all the feels while keeping the drama to a minimum. The insta-attraction is palpable in their first meeting and you know their story will be beautiful. I do hope that Brayden’s band mates get their own stories. 4⭐️ ~Carole

I started the new series of Layla Hagen books. It is a spinoff of the Very Irresistible Bachelors with Winchester family that I enjoyed a lot.

Brayden Clarke is the singer of one of the world’s most popular bands. And there is this read head, beautiful Isabelle Gallagher who is hired by the manager of the group to advise the band in their communication with fans. They are attracted to each other for q little time they resist but soon they surrender and their love life begin.

I liked this sensual story. Maybe a missed just a little more suspance. But very pleasant. Reccomend to all romantic souls.

Rock star romance that totally rocks! Isabelle is this strong, confident woman who knows what she wants and where she wants to be. She totally has a good head on her shoulders, very bright, educated but when she is hired to help out a very popular, rock band , her world is pretty much turned upside down. She's not used to all the attention , all the things that come with being someone that is so popular. In comes Brayden, the leader of the band, the popular, all the girls want him guy. He falls hard for Isabelle, shes witty and sassy. Their chemistry is very hot and flirty and fun. Loved this book! Definitely want to read more.

Great start to a new series! I fell in love with these two characters! 5 stars for this one, grab it asap!

We meet Isabelle, moved to New York, now closer to her family, her business doing well! She's hired by a rock bands manager to help them with their social media presence. She meets with them and she's completely taken with the lead singer, Brayden.

Brayden can't take his eyes off Isabelle, he see's and feels something for her, that he's never felt before. These two have some amazingly hot chemistry, they will worm their way into your heart!

I couldn't put this book down!

Layla Hagen excels at writing sexy, alpha men. Say you’re mine is on par for sure. The characters of Brayden and Isabelle are the very definition of opposites attract. When they are on the page together it is explosive and together, they great sparks. Say You’re Mine is the first book in the Gallagher family series, and like Layla’s other stories, mixes in previous characters into a new storyline. This was a very low angst read you expect from Hagen.

Say You’re Mine is the first book in the Gallaghers Series. This was quick, entertaining read and I enjoyed it. The characters were likable and I was rooting for Brayden and Isabelle right from the start. Their insta-love story was steamy and sweet and light on drama. Full of heart it will make you swoon and smile and was a great start to this new series. I can't wait to see what next from this author. I would recommend this novel to lovers of rockstar romances.

Loved it!

Sweet, sexy with all the happy feels. This is the perfect sunshine pallet cleanser after a few, dark heavy books. Although I would enjoy this regardless. Everyone needs a dose of a smooth, fluffy, happily ever after now and again.

Another easy read from this author. I seem to be in a book slump at the moment and these books especially this author keeps me going. the are easy ready and not much thought had to go with keeping up with the story line. I did particularly enjoy the characters and the chemistry they have with each other. The band members were quite funny and kept all subject matter light hearted.

Isabelle is a counselor that usually works with individuals. Then Sasha calls her and give her an opportunity to work with her rock band she manages and Isabelle is interested.
Her first meet and greet does not go well except that she meets the lead singer Brayden. He is smoking hot and a huge flirt. He definitely has his eye on her.
The dynamics between Brayden and Isabelle are on point for this novel and the side characters are also endearing as well. I loved the pacing of this one and how everything came together smoothly. The ending was pure perfection.
