Man, it felt like a really long time since I had this kind of ecstatic tingle on my chest. I can't stop squirming reading this hilariously cute manhwa. I only wished I read this one sooner! It's been lying on my reading-list-shelf for all eternity! Anyway, Bexan can be such a territorial, aggressive dog/bae. Not that I have any problems with that... this setting is an exception to my rules. Also, I love the comical art so much!
I was expecting fluffiness and light reading but I ended up very emotional.
Even with the ridiculous plot, it felt very realistic. The instagram stuff and internet trolling is just so accurate. Bexan and Diesel's friendship is too pure. Minsuk's life lessons, realizations and struggles are so relatable. I don't even want to mention the perfection of the art style but I guess I just did.
The ending was cute but I guess it left me hoping for more back story in season two, please.
I have read this twice and fully recommend to those who like shifter romance, quirky MC’s, BEAUTIFUL EXQUISITE art, heart wrenching moments, a good story, funny LOL scenes, did I tell you about the art?
Also, if you have read already, there are side stories now! I just started reading them! Ein! L! Spies! Action!!!
Serie actualmente abierta.
I'm not usually a fan of this art style, not saying that it was bad but what I usually like is way different, but the plot was really interesting and in the end the art also grew on me. In this first season we saw mostly the main couple and a glimpse of the 2nd couple and we could already understand that the other couple's story wasn't as fluffy and funny as the main couple's one. The sex scenes were pretty sensul and the characters well build, and I started to read season 2 as soon as I finished this one.
S1: Hilarious, two dumbasses falling in love and living together. I love them! Also Werewolves. My Achilles‘ tendon. S2: Diesel my long haired god. He needs to be protected under all circumstances. I could have done with fewer sex scenes honestly. All in all I flew through this and couldn’t put it down.
Season 1 almost had me thinking this was only going to be your typical cute OTT comedy (which isn’t a bad thing as I enjoyed S1 very much) until Season 2 flew in with crazy drug lord mafia drama and I was completely swept into the dark tones of the art & story.
The biggest takeaway from this manhwa: Ein (especially in uniform) is so sexyyy 😍💖💖
I’ve been following this one for a while, and when it got completed I finally got around to start it again and actually finished it. I expected a fluffy heartfelt read but what I got was so much more. Rich characters with an amazing lore, entangled in amazing backstory. Worth it.
I was expecting a fluffy light manhwa reading, but end up getting a nice fun romance fantasy and lesson of life, with a bit of spice from the misterious side characters. (contract killer? guns for hire? mobs?)
I looove to see Minsuk struggle with his feeling between 10 years of toxic relationship and a new furry love than can only be half a man. It felt so real, and so hurting. Yes, all of us could see that Yongjae was one egoistic-manipulating jerk, but we also could see he genuinely wants -in his twisted way of thinking- Minsuk to be happy.
In lighter tone, Bexan friendship with Diesel was fresh air. Omg, millenial generation of werewolves *no vampire anywhere*. The way they posting thing on socmed, eat junk food and go to caffes, I almost felt sorry for Minsuk and Ein, hahaha....
The ending was quite decent for this season, but piques many interesting questions for the next one. Hope second season would start soon, can't wait.
since i have no idea which way the published volumes correspond to the online publication, i'm just gonna put my review for the whole thing on volume 1 *shrugs*
the art style of this manhwa was stunning! i loved the color palette and how it was used to differentiate between time and place, and it was too funny when the style changed from normal to humorous.
season 1 was v entertaining and sweet (), and bexan's antics when in his dog form were hilarious.
but i liked season 2 more, mainly because i think diesel and ein are much more interesting characters and their backstory was super gripping. tbh bexan was a bit too horny in s2, like stop being annoying and holding up the plot just because you want some action, i want to know what happens to diesel.
anyways i'd probably rate the epilogue 5 stars, s2 4 stars and s1 3.5-4 stars.

At first, I didn't like the manhwa that much due to small personal preferences of how things should have gone (lol) such as:
'Why didn't Minsuk kicked Bexan right after he knew that he's a werewolf? It's illogical considering how troublesome Bexan had been in the first few days & that they hadn't developed any attraction yet'
'The Siberia backstory was told too much out of a whim. I think it should've been explained further'
'How did Bexan's mom & he arrived in Korea? Why has it never been discussed before?'
'Why is there not much backstory of Diesel and Ein? I get that their first appearance was meant to be mysterious due to them quietly 'outing' another werewolf from afar and that they wanted to hid their identity but... Diesel & Ein have now become a lot closer with Minsuk & Bexan and yet we still know so little of them.'
Basically, in the beginning, I was frustrated at how things are left as is just for the sake of (what I think as) convenience for the plot lol.
But as frustrated as I was, I wanted to give this story a chance because I know that manhwas & mangas usually only unfold itself to a more intricate storyline after >10 chapters. So I read, and I read, and I read... and boi was I glad that I did.
At first, I only thought this as a fluffy, silly, unimportant story. But the way that the author drew each panel and showed the emotions of the characters kept me engaged all the way. And without knowing, the story that I thought was frustratingly silly has made its characters dear figures to me.
Bexan's infatuation towards Minsuk which I thought as too out of the blue, got slowly justified. And Bexan himself kinda grew on me due to this character development (especially during the latest few chapters when he found out that Youngjae proposed to Minsuk).
And through Bexan's eye, Minsuk who I thought was kind of an uptight, boring character, slowly became this thoughtful, kind person.
But interestingly, I'm actually more intrigued with Diesel & Ein's relationship. I think there is a lot of irony & tragedy involving that pair and I would love to know how they ended up together, especially after what Diesel told Bexan about him & Ein.
Story-wise, it wasn't that unique. There have been a lot of mangas/manhwas with the werewolf trope. But aside from the beautiful art, I have to give credit to the way the intercourse was drawn. Like, the passion and love during the process oozes through the screen and made the pair even more precious to me.
All in all, I read the whole 28 chapters in one go without any pause nor disinterest. And I really really look forward to read the continuation of their cute story.
Primer temporada: 3,5 estrellas Segunda temporada: 3 estrellas
Hands down one of the best BL web comic I've read in recent years. The art is simple but beautifully sensual (the sex scenes are to die for!) The story is well-paced and has a good mix of drama and humor. Best of all - the characters actually talk about their feelings. The main couple is openly gay and their relationship is a healthy one, something I wish there was more of in the BL genre.
Overall, a must-read if you are a fan of BL and adorable doggies.
Ahhh this was so cute! Honestly it's pretty silly, but when it's not being ridiculous it's got some really good writing. The intimate scenes are just *chef's kiss* so good!! And it made me laugh out loud with how weird it is, with the cartoonish eyes and the instagram beef.
I'm nervous because it feels like one of those series that I'll eventually like less as it goes on, but this first season I really liked. I think it does both serious and not serious well. I had fun reading it.
Though, the side couple began to feel like the main characters instead of the actual ones. Since Minsuk/Bexan’s story had less drama up until the very end, they became the comedic relief, while Diesel/Ein’s story was filled with tension and more plot.
I saw the cover and my first thought was : "ok, this is going to be ridiculous". And I turned out to be so wrong. I found it very emotional and sensual, with the right amount of humor. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous and I thought the saddest moments of the story were the ones that were most beautifully drawn.
