In this novel the witch sisters each have problems with love, then zombies as they look for a cure for one of sisters. They also deal with werewolves and more. Really loving this series!

Not my favorite subject. I don't like Maeve. I read books like these to be entertained. First book was entertaining. This second book was completely depressing. Maybe the third will be in the somewhere between the two.

Which book too choose? This one. I am a cozy mystery fan at heart but there is something about this series that has me captivated. I have read a number of books by this author and thought I would give this series ago too. So glad I did. The series is set around three sisters and each book focuses on one of the sisters as she finds love or in this case rekindles love but it is so much more than a romance story. Each sister has there own issues to face and over come, as they struggle how to control newly acquired magic, while being hunted by head hunters. Although each book mainly focuses on one sister, each chapter is good from the perspective of one of the sisters, giving you a complete understanding of the story. This is book two and is focused on the middle sister, who is very unusual compared to the typical character. She already has a husband and two children but is struggling with how to tell them she has Multiple Sclerosis. I get very emotional and wasn't sure this book was for me, reading about her struggle etc but it was very well done and the author had a good understanding of what it is like living with the condition once I started I couldn't put it down. I just love the bond between the three sisters and the magic side of the story adds some entertainment. I can't wait to find out what the author has in store for the youngest sister.
Maeve has the perfect life, she is married with two children and even has two dogs. She owns her own houses and has a job working with her sister that she loves but she has a big secret that could cost her everything. She has Multiple Sclerosis, a chronic illness that not even magic can cure .That doesn't mean she isn't going to try, especially as she can't find the courage to tell her family about her diagnosis or she is a witch. Have and her two sisters have only just found out they are witches and are still in the learning process of what they can and can't do. Maeve hopes a trip to the midnight market might provide her with a way to cure her illness, instead she finds herself traveling to the Amazon rainforest looking for the Mother Superior of Magic, with magic hunters chasing them. Will Maeve find herself in the jungle or will she lose more than her magic?
I was given this free review copy book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Silver Sisters is a series about three over forty sisters. I quickly identified with Alys who is the eldest and the leader. This strong bond between the sisters is the crux of each of the stories. Witch Way Did She Go is Maeve’s story, the second in the series.

Maeve is the glue that holds the sisters together. A devastating and debilitating Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis has struck, threatening to destroy her family and world. Her denial and fear is tearing her and her family apart. More so, because she refuses to tell her husband, planting seeds of doubt and crumbling from within. Maeve makes the decision to find the Mother Superior of Magic somewhere along the Amazon for a cure.
I admit, I had serious doubts about how this was going to play out. Those doubts quickly dissipated into thin air as I was pulled into this chaos of magic and the beauty of the Amazon. Chaos and close calls it certainly was and I loved every minute of it.

Hart throws in all kinds of nuggets to surprise the reader, especially those who have read her previous books as she tends to bring in characters from other series, making the stories dovetail together. Love it!

I am a believer that all witches are not equal nor are they evil. The Silver Sisters series weaves a tale of three sisters struggling to become who they are meant to be. Next up is Siobhan’s story. She is a rebel, maverick and flower child who has chosen an unconventional approach to life. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book.

Embrace the witch within all of us!

A Witchy 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed this second book in the female centered tale of the three sisters, Alys, Maeve and Sibby. The sisters were orphaned young and raised by their eccentric hippie aunt and they’ve recently discovered they have magical powers. Now they are contending with powers they do not know how to use well along with the rest of their everyday problems. This book focuses on Maeve and her recent diagnosis of MS and whether there is a magical cure. The story includes what you’d expect from this genre - fighting, dangerous situations, paranormal creatures, evil masterminds, henchmen, loyal friends and family, tragic back stories, plot twists, mystical coincidences, snark, and laughs. It also includes witty dialogue, characters with depth, and an engaging storyline. Expect to laugh, to cry, to grit your teeth, to cringe, to shout, and to root for the sisters to harness their powers, find love, clean up some life messes, and defeat the bad guys. This is book two in a trilogy and while some minor subplots are resolved, there are still unresolved issues, large and small, when the book ends. This was okay with me, I enjoyed the book enough to keep reading the next book in the series.

Added A Sprinkle Of Magic To My Day

Witch Way Did She Go
Silver Sisters, Book 2
By: Jennifer L. Hart
Narrated by: Jacqueline Rendell
Series: Silver Sisters, Book 2
Length: 9 hrs and 12 mins
Unabridged Audiobook
Release date: 01-12-21

I absolutely loved this book, full of humour, heart felt warmth. I am so pleased it was made available on Audible.

"Witch Way Did She Go" is book 2 in the Silver Sisters series, I enjoyed book 1, but book 2 in my opinion was far better I absolutely loved it, not only a great story but full of lol humour, heartfelt love, compassion and a good helping of Magic, which secretly I think bought the book to life ;).

I love that Jennifer has bought the gorgeous Fae Prince Robin Goodfellow from her Magical Midlife Adventure series into this story, it made it even more special for me.

A fantastic well written story and Jacqueline Rendells narration of the story, made it a pleasure to listen to, I can't wait for the next book to be released on Audible

I love these sisters!

There's something enormously comforting & empowering about a series of books that revel in 3 women in their mid-lives, coming into a glorious recognition of their own worth & strength. All 3 are so different yet have an unquenchable love for each other, even when they are, in turn, mystified or exasperated by the others!

This is the very epitome of light-hearted, feel good reading. Not my usual fare, it's true, but I'm very glad that something drew me to these books because I have thoroughly enjoyed every one that I've read so far. Although the tone is joyous & light, Jennifer Hart has a wealth of things to say about women's agency. It's all done without a hint of condescension or that dreadful tone of being preached at that sometimes accompanies books tackling similar issues. It's amazing how much more effective it can be to learn through laughter. I can't wait to see where the Silver sisters go from here.

“You must first defeat your worst enemy before you can become whole.” ... “Look into my eyes and see. For you are the enchantress and the seeress who bleeds with the dark of the moon. Look into my eyes and see.”

Hang on tight because here come the Silver Sisters to save the world and themselves in the process. Alys, Maeve and Siobhan: three nacsent witches powerful enough to save themselves from evil...and themselves.

In the second of Silver Sisters series, Jennifer L Hart, one of my favorite authors, has kept me reading almost non-stop since the book landed on my Kindle and I laughed, cried and stood shoulder to shoulder with three awesome characters I wish I could hange around with all the time. Can hardly wait for Feb and Book 3. Highly Recommended 5/5

The thing I like best about Jennifer L Hart's work is the believability of her characters. In this story, Maeve, the middle child of the Silver Sisters, is searching for a cure for her chronic illness. She involves her sisters in attempting to find a cure. The journey takes the sisters to new and exotic places that are fraught with danger. I enjoyed this tale. I recommend it to others. I like that the author prefaces the most descriptive suggestive scene with a warning so that the reader knows what to expect. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Jacqueline Rendell's narration was great, and she adds to the story's entertainment with her expressive voice. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

The Silver sisters
In her search to find a magical cure for her MS diagnosis Maeve alienates herself from her family and the people she loves.
Too scared to trust telling her husband Cal about her magic and illness for fear of losing him.
Instead there is a great hole in her life and her family are miserable.
I loved this story, where we delve deeper into all of the sisters lives as they come together to go on a quest to help Maeve find the Mother Superior of Magic and a healing amulet.
There is magic, danger, zombies, dark fae, outside help from a supposed enemy, secrets, confessions and plenty of love.
A really enjoyable audiobook to listen to.
I received a free copy of this audiobook and this is my honest review.

Witch Way Did She Go is a touching and terrifying adventure in the paranormal and middle age. Maeve and her sisters find almost more than they can handle as they search for a cure for her MS. Even more than her fear of MS or the Amazon rainforest, she is terrified of what will happen once she tells her wonderful husband that she has the degenerative disease and that she has know for some time. Sebastian is willing to do whatever it takes to protect Sibby. but since learning that he is a witch hunter, she wants nothing to do with him. The sisters are awesome!

This is one of my favourite PWF books. While the characters travel on a physical journey from their home town to the heart of the Amazon to find a cure for Maeve who’s been recently diagnosed with MS, it was Maeve’s journey as a mother, wife & woman that gripped my heart. I don’t want to give spoilers, but if I could give this book 10 stars I would. This is not a cosy book but it’ll leave your soul feeling nourished and it’ll make you think.
This is definitely a book I’ll reread & I’m looking forward to the next book.

Awesome!
The focus on Maeve and her MS was well written.
The sisters not only have to focus on staying away from the magick hunters but with the closeness of the sisters share, knowing what Maeve is going through is touching. The ends they go to so that they may find a magickal cure is touching.
But we can't forget Cal and her children. Cal is so supportive and confused since Maeve hasn't shared her diagnosis with her husband yet and when she does my heart hicuped a few beats.
Wonderfully written. Starting book 3.

I’m loving Ms Hart’s books. They deliver just what it says…..paranormal women’s fiction and romance. Her writing is crisp, her characters are well-defined, and the plots are quite creative. Each of the women have distinct personalities that continue to evolve as does their magic. Looking forward to the 3rd installment of this series. In this second book, however, I do wish the proof readers would pay closer attention. There are deleted words and inverted words that affect the sentence flow. In one instance, a specific word was deleted from a sentence that effected the whole meaning.

This is book 2 of the trilogy. The three sisters were raised by an eccentric aunt. Turns out their witches, but their abilities were intentionally dampened as children for their own protection. As adults they are just learning about their abilities and how to use it. This is Mauve’s story. She recently was diagnosed with MS. She is hoping there is magical cure to fix the MS. Meanwhile life is in chaos. There is an underlying sense of humor to the story and characters, which I enjoyed. The narration was good. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Maeve's story

This is the second book I've read by this author, and the second in a series. Although it could be read as a standalone,it's really more of a serial. Maeve is featured in this one, but the other sisters are also followed throughout the series. I liked the story, but some of the "rules" seemed contrived as the plot gets more and more convoluted, maybe because I don't read a lot in the paranormal genre.

This one is Maeve's story. The sister's try to find a magical cure for MS. I love the sister's, all the characters. All of them are so well written, Jennifer L. Hart is one of my favorite authors. The romance for all the sister's was just so sweet. PWF is one of the best genre's and so many new books coming out. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series and I'm so glad each sister gets her own book.

I am loving this series! The flow between each sister and what’s going on in their individual lives, and the group’s tumultuous lives as a whole is expertly done. I really enjoy being able to keep track of what’s going on without having to take notes, even though there is magic and kidnapping and suspected infidelity, and a Fae prince, and teleportation, and zombies! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK - AND SERIES.

I really enjoyed this book. So far I have really love this series. This book was around Maeve's MS and how she needs to find a cure. We learned more about the girls and the bond they share. We also learned more about the bond they have with other characters in this book. I listened to this audio book and the narrator Jacqueline Rendell was great. She is very good at her narration talent. I loved feeling like I am a part of this world. On to the next great book in this series, for me!

Witch Way Did She Go, or as I've come to think of her, the multiple sclerosis book. I wanted to write a story that puts a spotlight on this disease. It's important for representation in fiction and a genre that focuses on the stories of women over forty is the perfect home for a heroine with M.S. This book has been a long time coming and I couldn't be prouder of the end result!

An excellent second book!

This was a soul scorcher! The characters are wildly interesting, the premise is quite complicated, and the plot ends in yet another dang cliffhanger. I truly detest those. However it does not lessen the taste of advent and I still look forward to the new book. I definitely recommend this book.

I somehow skipped this audiobook when reading the series. Thank goodness the author gives enough elements in the third book to understand the ongoings of the Silver sisters. This book explains why Maeve is the enchantress, her strong connection with Cal and their beginnings as a couple. I adore this series. Jacqueline Rendell did an awesome job with the narration.

Maeve is struggling because she learned she has MS. Her sisters know, but she has yet told her husband, Kal, or her children. She decides to keep it to herself because she hopes she'll find some magical cure and Kal will never need to know. But things don't go as she hoped and she might not survive her search for a cure.

This is one of the very few books that have made me cry and also put me firmly on a man’s side. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator is fantastic!

It was so good and if I could’ve hit Maeve over the head I would’ve. Alise as a character really shined and I loved all the sisters deep support of each other and absolutely calling each other out on their bullshit

Maeve is my favorite Silver sister. I fell in love with her love story. Kai is kind and patient beyond belief. Her health issues are a normal part of life and they were woven in with the paranormal storyline beautifully.
