Cataclysmic Mistakes

Rate this book
The ZOO has pushed and pushed hard. What will the response be?

Not everyone is happy about rumblings of the wall going up faster.

Frustration abounds for everyone. The ZOO has changed tactics and moved the goalposts.

Who is going to win, humanity or the Zoo?

Niki needs to vent, and Taylor does his best to show her a good time.

Will Taylor be able to get them out without being arrested?

The ZOO has a new tactic, one so devious no one was expecting it.

A local gang grabs a member of Taylor’s group.

In the Czech Republic, the enemy explodes into action, surprising everyone. They need help desperately, but who to call?

Before McFadden and Banks can help anyone in the ZOO, they will unleash a scorched earth policy on anyone who dares touch one of their friends.

Will Taylor and Niki get their friend back? Will the ZOO finally break out of the walls keeping it contained in Africa?

Wow! I mean, WOW!

It's really all slowly, but surely, getting together now.

What with the ZOO creating even more weird and wonderful ways of trying to spread outside of the Sahara, plus a new gang moving into Vegas, determined on becoming number one of all the other gangs.

But, they make the biggest mistake they could ever possibly do, and they kidnap one of McFadden and Banks team! Oh boy!

What happens next, is a just retribution, and a way for Taylor to REALLY get the message home to EVERYONE who might mess with his family!

Once again, this was a riveting read, and I found it very painful whenever I had to stop for any reason! Lol

I keep saying it, but there's such a wonderfully laberynthine pathway to Michael Anderle's writing, with so many characters winding in and out of each others' stories - even if it's just by a brief or glancing touch.

But, even those briefest touches become relevant in some part of this continuous story, even if it happens two books on!

I just really love these different elements brought in to the various ZOO series - but I have to say that this particular one, plus Birth of Heavy Metal . . . Heck, who am I trying to kid!

I just love every single series so far - some better than others, admittedly but they, ALL of them, each add something wonderful to the whole of it.

But, the next book I read will be the last one of this particular series, and that saddens me, as I haven't a clue whether the people that I've grown to know, and love, in these previous ones, will be in the next series - I guess that's an adventure I need to look forwards to, noatter who it involves!

So, I'm off now, to at least start to read Book Eight: 'Contained Apocalypse' - because, although it's silly O'Clock in the morning, here in rainy West Wales, once more, I just have to at least START this last book - and, once I've finished it, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think of it all!

Painting by the numbers

I never ever thought I would give a M.A or M.T book an average review & to be honest BA & both leprechauns have been my favorites. So I have purposely not done any reviews lately, to be honest since the series went from cryptid assassin to M & B's the last few books especially have struggled but had some redeeming features in them. The last two naaaaah. Especially this one. I so kept hoping even when I just wanted to stop reading,. I started flicking thru the page's. I understand that these books have ghost writers & are pumped out quickly in a pulp novel way. But this book was a waste of time to read & be written. And that hurts me as a fan to say

Just Because

Another idiot causes a zoo outbreak. As usual, and greed is involved. Instead of staying far away from anything that has been in or comes out of the Zoo, some idiot has been tanning furs taken from zoo creatures. Not very smart, but rich idiots will pay lots of money to own a fur coat from a Zoo beast. Unfortunately the Zoo has been working on a new way to expand, and it seems to be working. The usual idiots want to take over Vegas, this time a motorcycle gang makes the stupid mistake of trying to intimidate Taylor’s group and take over the shop, and the criminal organization in the city. It doesn’t go well for them. A great read.

It's good, but has diverted from what appeared to be the original script

I have read a few of the Zoo books, didn't enjoy them, so moved on. This series started off being more about M&B and their clean up ops of cryptids in areas other than the Zoo. Unfortunately for me, it's slowly become more about the Zoo, not Zoo v1, but it's attempts to propergate itself in other locations around the world
I miss the team interaction that was so much more detailed in the earlier books, dealing with the Don's, the 13s and just the non-Zoo stuff in general

Another Great Book

More intertwined plot lines. The main one is a motorcycle gang wanting to take over Vegas and starting with the strip mall and kidnapping to get on the wrong side of McFadden, Banks & Company. Plus a new type of zoo incursion and the continuing attempts to take the AIs.

Eagerly awaiting the next book!

This is a fun series

The only problem with this series s that each book ends....and then you have to wait for the next one to come out. Otherwise they are a very. Fun and addictive read that you can’t put down. Love the action, love the characters, love the universe that is being built. I definitely recommend this book, the series and all the other series set in this universe.

Fantastic series

This zoo spinoff would make a great movie. As the alien zoo marches onward to terra form the earth, only our heroes McFadden and Banks continue the fight against the zoo. This book is another Anderle masterpiece with fight scenes that keep you glued to the book. Had to read it in one day.

Another successful outing home and abroad for the M & B team as yet again the world and the zoo try to ruin our fave characters parade.
Some nice changes and another enjoyable subtle political and realistic background story going on as well.

New Zoo

It seems the Zoo can pop up anywhere. Also the wall around the zoo or new zoo needs to be built to better specs. M and B are called in to take care of a new zoo outbreak in Europe!

The zoo is getting aggressive

It seems everyone knows something is up with the zoo then the perfect storm hits. No one knows exactly how but it almost takes out a base then some odd little things show up in the zoo and of course add in greed which brings you to …

Great

Book 7 is just as good as the previous 6. I really like this series and can't wait for book 8. I'm curious to see what happens in Italy .

The Zoo branches out

Another fine rendition of McFadden and Banks. A little humor, a little death and mayhem. But of course we have a wedding thrown in too. Read it !
