Wszystko po to, by spełnić marzenie swojego asystenta i projektanta Adama.
I’m a sucker for Chise’s stories and this one was no exception. As always, stay away if you hate yaoi (specifically the sex involved)/prostitution, but if you can handle that this manga is a pleasure to read with only slight plot holes — like the arm thing with Adam and shoving an entire ink pen up your ass and not needing to go to the hospital to get that sucker out — and an interesting plot that gradually evolves from being dark to sweet.
I love psychological yaoi and all works by Ogawa Chise! Her works are not cliche, which I greatly appreciate and her art style is also very beautiful (yuriy's long hair is my fav). And of course, this story is dark and twisted just like all her other works. Overall this is an interesting story, though I think the ending was a bit too happy for Ogawa sensei.
No l'è proprio roba par mi!
This was very chaotic. I liked it enough, but I feel like it's missing just a little something. Honestly I was more interested in the relationship between the uncle and that one guy than Yuli and Adam. We got like a chapter of them and I honestly wanted to know more. Adam and Yuli had an interesting relationship, but I feel like there was just too much going on and I also wasn't the biggest fan of the ending.
This was not what I expected. In hindsight, I don’t even know what I was really expecting. Anyways, I liked it, but maybe I needed a couple of things to be explained better. My favourite chapter was the extra one. Those two had more chemistry even in a single meeting in the primary storyline than the main couple.
Ogawa-sensei's works are so messed up but addictive, and their illustrations look beautiful. I love Red Theatre as it is, although I honestly needed more obstacles to happen in between the ambitious beginning and the sweet ending.
Okay. Did you guys know I never actyally I’ve never read actual yaoi??? I read like two bls in my life. This was the first yaoi. Me and my friend bought three yaois to review for fun. This was actually okay but the ending could have been more in depth. Anyway protag was cool.
Another manga that is giving you some different feelings than the usual yaoi stuff. It makes you struggle with the main character. And it has its dark side which is something that I always enjoy.
It would really have been nice to have a content warning on this work, because it's quite dark and triggering. But it's well written. Even if it deals with non-consensual relationship, it's not romanticizing it like most BL. That's a good point.
Honestly, I picked this up because I liked the cover. I was in for a delightful surprise! This is a manga I am absolutely hooked to. I keep checking if the next chapter has been released! It is beautifully drawn and written. The story is dark and intriguing beyond measure. The characters are basically alive; they're so real, you can't help but feel for them. The plot unfolds at a perfect pace, and even in this first chapter we have a couple plot twists! And they're shocking and believable at the same time; they make you think "Wow, how didn't I notice this earlier? It makes total sense." It kept getting better and better. Certainly, one of the best I have read. Can't wait for the next chapter!
may you forever dance in those red heels until you are skin and bones
This was a beautiful tragedy. The main lead led a life that was never his own. He was in the shadow of the one who passed for the man who owned his heart. This book talks about corruption, manipulation, greed and what someone is willing to do for the one they claim to love. While, I do not agree with everything that happens in this collection (nor do I condone it), I have to appreciate the beauty in the story.
