1 Samuel: A King after God's Own Heart, A 13-Lesson Study

by Jon Nielson

First Samuel is a riveting read that introduces us to some of the most memorable figures in the Old Testament. The greatest of its heroes is David, a mighty man of faith who makes his distinctive contribution to preparing God’s people for the Anointed One, the Messiah who comes to rule and to save. This Reformed Expository Bible Study is designed for personal and group use. Each lesson connects to the rest of the Bible and holds to the same standards as the Reformed Expository Commentary a high view of Scripture; a Christ-centered focus; a Reformed theological basis; and an emphasis on personal application and prayer.
