Ommmmg no pensé que me fuera a gustar tanto!!! Siento que he crecido con los personajes, que los problemas realmente eran complicados, que los sentimientos son muy reales al ser tan difíciles de comprender. Quiero ir y abrazar a Billie ahora mismo.
Me gustó muchísimo la secuela de Moonstruck at midnight y ya estoy deseando leer el tercero!!!

• ENGLISH REVIEW •
If the first book was a surprise, this one definitely was even more so. Whenever I rate 5 stars it is when it is most difficult for me to express what it made me feel, and I have so many feelings towards this book (VERY DIFFERENT FEELINGS) that I just know that it will forever become my comfort zone.
There is a clear development of the characters, especially in the growth of Billie. It feels much more mature and that is exactly what I expected. It is very easy to empathize with her and with her personality, especially because despite all her "privileges", her problems are something that all of us have experienced at some point (a broken heart, seek freedom, insecurities, etc.)
This book stops having a love triangle and becomes basically a QUARTET 🙆🏻♀️ hahaha, but unlike other books that I have read with this cliché, it is very well described and makes you love all the guys (except one) in some way. William's sarcasm and the “bad boy” attitude, Caleb's protection and you goin to MEET NATHAN 😍.
The first book has a plot twist that can be analyzed as "one more event" in the same vein as the story was from the beginning, so, although you don't see it coming, the impact it has is not SO MUCH on the reader (in my opinion). But the turn this book takes is so unexpected that you can't process what happens in the last 30 pages until a long time after reading (I still can't get over it, guys).
It is a very addictive book, in each chapter something happens. It grabs you from the beginning. It is very fast to read. In addition, unlike the first, it has more "spicy" scenes in its proper measure. Also do not expect explicit sexual scenes, I think they would definitely not add anything to the book.
I have a LOT of faith in the third book "Awestruck at Dusk" that comes out on January 6, 2022, I feel that it gives me hope to answer all those questions that I have in mind and fill my heart a little.

But it is a MUST to read it when the book is finished, it will give more meaning to the events and you will have the containment you need to continue your life hahahaha.

• RESEÑA EN ESPAÑOL •
Si el primer libro fue una sorpresa, este definitivamente lo fue aún más. Siempre que califico con 5 estrellas es cuando más me cuesta expresar que me hizo sentir, y tengo tantos sentimientos hacia este libro (MUY DIVERSOS) que solo puedo comentar que se convertirá eternamente en mi zona de confort.
Hay un claro desarrollo de los personajes, en especial en el crecimiento de Billie. Se nota mucho más madura y eso es exactamente lo que esperaba. Es muy fácil empatizar con ella y con su personalidad, especialmente porque a pesar de todos sus “privilegios”, sus problemas son algo que todas y todos hemos vivido en algún momento (penas de amor, búsqueda de la libertad, inseguridades, etc)
Este libro deja de tener un triángulo amoroso y pasa a ser básicamente un CUARTETO 🙆🏻♀️ jajajaj, pero a diferencia de otros libros que he leído con este cliché, esta muy bien descrito y te hace amar a todos (menos a uno) de alguna forma (literal, soy #TeamCasiTodos). El sarcasmo y la actitud de “bad boy” de William, la protección de Caleb y CONOCERÁN A NATHAN 😍.
El primer libro tiene un giro de trama que puede ser analizado como “un suceso más” en la misma línea de lo que fue el relato desde el inicio, así que, aunque no te lo ves venir, el impacto que tiene no es TANTO en el lector (a mi juicio). Pero el giro que da este libro es tan inesperado que no logras procesar lo qué pasa en las últimas 30 páginas hasta mucho rato después de leído (yo aún no lo supero, gente). Probablemente es por todo lo que me hizo sentir el final por lo cual le di las 5 estrellas.
Es un libro muy adictivo, en cada capítulo pasa algo. Te atrapa desde el inicio ya que comienza con el final del primer libro que te deja con muchas interrogantes. Es muy rápido de leer. Además, a diferencia del primero, tiene más escenas “spicy” en su justa medida. Tampoco se esperen escenas sexuales explicitas, creo que definitivamente no le aportarían nada al libro.
Le tengo MUCHÍSIMA fe al tercer libro “Awestruck at Dusk” que sale a la venta el 6 de Enero de 2022, siento que me da la esperanza de responder a todas esas preguntas que tengo en mente y llenar un poco mi corazón.

Estuve buscando excusas para no leer este libro, ya que sabía que iba a sufrir apenas lo hiciera. No me equivoqué, pero valió la pena.
Aquí retomamos la historia de Billie luego de todo lo que pasó en el primer libro. Vemos que Caleb y ella empiezan a ser más cercanos, William no da señales de vida, Thomas se vuelve cada vez más intenso, aparecen nuevos personajes, nos reencontramos con personajes que ya conocíamos, entre otras cosas.
Este libro fue una montaña rusa, no hay otra forma de describirlo. Me hizo reír, llorar, enamorarme, dudar, etc... Alejandra tiene una pluma preciosa. Te puede hacer sentir tantas cosas en solo una página y eso e sun talento único.
Billie en este libro me gusta mucho porque está decidida a pasarlo bien y no dejar que otros le digan que hacer o no. Si es cierto que a veces me estresaba por su rebeldía, pero luego me ponía en su lugar y entendía.
William me sigue enamorando con cada parte de su ser, pero en este libro veos un lado de él que es más personal. A veces se porta como un idiota y quería golpearlo constantemente, pero hay un detrás en todo eso.
Caleb es mi bebé protegido. Nunca podré verlo como interés romántico, para mí es un gran amigo y no puede ser de otra forma. Lo quiero mucho.
Como mencioné arriba; hay personaje nuevos. No puedo irme sin mencionar a mi británico favorito. Nathan es un personaje que realmente quieres quedarte para ti. Yo quería que saliera del libro para que estuviese conmigo. Lo defenderé de todos, quedan advertidos.
¿Lo recomiendo? Sin duda alguna. Lean todo lo que Ale publique.

Me he encariñado tanto con los personajes que no ha pasado nada desde que lo terminé y ya los extraño.
Esta segunda parte la he disfrutado muchísimo más que la primera y AAAAAAA necesito tener el tercero right now *sobs*
El final me ha dolido demasiado, no me lo esperaba. Admito que ha sido muy rápido pero justo por eso es que me ha sorprendido tanto que no podía creérmelo y he tenido que parar y ponerme a llorar porque, tal como Billie, yo tampoco podía aceptar lo que estaba pasando.
Eso sí, yo pensaba que la historia de Billie podría quedarse con dos libros sin darle tanta vuelta (esto lo pensé a mediados del segundo libro), pero lo cierto es que sí veo necesario continuar la saga. Aún hay varios cabos sueltos que necesito lleguen a atarse en algún momento, además, el corazón de Billie sigue estando indeciso, y no puedo culparla, aunque yo sí me he decepcionado mucho con William.
⚠️Posible spoiler:
Billie merece quedarse con Nathan, pero si ella decide quedarse con William, entonces Nate nunca la mereció. Él es un amor en comparación a William quien solo ve a la prota como un juego de competencia entre estos dos principales intereses amorosos.

5/5⭐️ No tengo palabras con todo lo que me a hecho sentir este libro. De verdad que ha sido una experiencia única profundizar en los personajes y conocer a los nuevos🥺 Desde ya estoy ansiosa de leer el 3ero y curar un poquito mi corazón roto que me dejo este final.

3 ⭐️ I’m absolutely heartstruck 😭
Billie's exciting journey of finding freedom, love, and happiness continues in this book.
I really love the relationship between Billie and Caleb. The bond these two have is so beautiful and pure. Their love and respect for one another are unshakable. Everyone needs someone like Caleb in their life - someone who just gets you and accepts you for exactly who you are. Bonus if this person is your partner.
Poor William. Our favorite Hollywood hottie was pulling out all the stops to woo Billie, but she just wasn't having it. lol Honestly, there were a few times I wanted to throttle her for constantly thinking the worst about William when all his actions towards her have shown her he's been nothing but honest and kind.
Hello, Nathan! Ummmmm, did I expect to fall in love with ANOTHER one of Billie's suitors? Hell no! But damn, Nathan is one dreamy hunk of absolute perfection! Seriously, he's sweet, thoughtful, intelligent, determined, hard-working, and passionate. What more could Billie ask for? He may not have any big red flags, but I can already see where he may not be the right man for our girl, Billie. Let's hope he starts focusing more on what Billie want's out of a relationship and life, or else Nathan is definitely going to get left behind for our sweet William.
Overall, this was a great addition to the series. I enjoyed the first book but damn, this one packed some punches! There’s even more drama, and that ending absolutely crushed me! I still haven't forgiven you Alejandra. 😭 But . . . I cannot wait to read the next book!!

Les voy a ser muy sincera con esta reseña. Así que tengo que empezar diciendo que tal vez en algunas ocasiones se me complicó empatizar con Billie por lo indecisa y egoísta que llegaba a ser eventualmente y podía llegar a desesperarme un poco. Sin embargo después te pones a pensar que constantemente esperamos que nuestras protagonistas sean perfectas al pie de la letra, y ahí el error somos nosotros. Ser ficticios no los limita de tener emociones reales, y sé que por lo menos en una ocasión algunx de nosotrxs también ha pasado por eso y al final terminamos madurando. Así que aunque sea un poco complicado empatizar con ella en algunas ocasiones, de cierta manera tampoco la juzgo. Espero que siga madurando y que al final sepa tomar la mejor decisión para ella y para todos. Y también sé que después de este libro le espera un proceso complicado, así que definitivamente estaré con ella en el siguiente para ver cómo lo supera.
Creo que en este libro me desprendí de ser un team específico, es un poco imposible serlo cuando todos están totalmente bien (en todos los sentidos). Desde el primer libro venía amando a William aunque al final me haya decepcionado un poco. Luego en este conocemos a Nathan. No puedes haber leído este libro y tener alguna queja de él (no miento, me pareció demasiado bueno para ser real y siempre estuve esperando que nos decepcionara en algo, pero no). Y Caleb, nuestro Caleb. Sé que se ganó nuestro corazón a su manera y eso jamás va a cambiar.
Sé que al final cualquier decisión que tome Billie estará bien, y espero que al tomarla piense en ella, en lo que realmente quiere, pero que también piense en quienes afecta.
A todos los que lo leyeron y están procesando este final, como yo, les mando un abracito.
Y también recordarles que por si no lo han hecho, es muy importante que lean la nota de la autora al final del libro para que entiendan el trasfondo de lo que sucedió. Pero háganlo únicamente al terminar el libro ya que contiene spoilers sobre este.

I’m not shocked at all that once again I couldn’t put this book down! Book two picked up right where book one left off and fulfilled everything I needed it to. I mean c’mon who isn’t obsessed with the love triangles? Book two definitely had ALOT going on and still I don’t know which direction Billie is going to go, but I’m here for it until the very end. I feel like any woman can relate to being torn between two types of loves. My heart was literally crushed at the end of the book and I don’t know how it’s going to recover but I have faith in the Book 3!!! Amazing book and now I will have uncontrollable anxiety until the next release

This book was absolutely wonderful. It felt like coming back to an old friend -- or perhaps more accurately, reuniting with a number of old friends. I thoroughly enjoyed Andrade's debut novel and became quickly attached to her many characters, plotlines, and subplots. She picks right back up where she left off in the sequel here, and again, I was all the better off for it as the reader. We learn more about the characters we know and love already, but she also introduces us to many new characters as well. Andrade has such a natural ability with dialogue, character development, and pacing. She also knows how to pull at your heartstrings and have you experiencing the full spectrum of emotions when it comes to her fictional world and the people who inhabit it. I highly recommend this book! As much as I loved the first one, I loved this one even more. And while the ending was extremely satisfying (though gut-wrenching), I cannot wait to dive back into Billie's universe in Awestruck at Dawn (book #3). Counting down the days till that release already...

Heartstruck at dawn es la segunda entrega de la saga de Moonstruck, al igual que su primera parte es una novela de romance young adult contemporáneo, pero con tonalidades de misterio y suspenso.
Izquierda o derecha siempre hay una elección, pero en ocasiones es muy complejo solo ir en una dirección; por eso Billie evita el conflicto de seguir un solo camino y va explorando todos los que la vida le pone.
Les puedo comentar desde mi perspectiva que esta historia nuevamente está narrada en primera persona, haciendo que el libro se sienta fluido y personal en la interacción con la protagonista; sin embargo, lo que note diferente en esta entrega fue el hecho del crecimiento de la autora en su forma de escribir al hilar las ideas de los hechos. Y con esto me refiero a que se dio la oportunidad de darnos a conocer un lado más emocional de los personajes siendo algo introspectivo el asunto, viendo las capas de sus personalidades y haciendo que nos sintiéramos con mayor empatía hacia ellos cuando los leemos.
En este caso podemos ver a Billie luchando un poco con las decisiones que ha ido tomando en esta independencia de adulto, uno se percata de ese conflicto interno que está presentando entre el hecho de hacer lo correcto como una persona madura sin lastimar a terceros o dejarse llevar por su corazón y hacer lo que le dicte siguiendo únicamente lo que la hace feliz.
Esta dualidad la lleva al límite dejándola perdida, con el sentimiento que a pesar de estar rodeada de gente que la apoya, sigue estando intranquila por la ausencia de algo.
En cuanto a los personajes secundarios podemos seguir viendo a cada uno de ellos e inclusive se agregaron nuevos, con sus mágicas historias que dejaron huella para bien o para mal, pero a pesar de ser independientes a la de la protagonista al final se unen de un modo tan relajado y sutil; como si siempre hubieran formado parte de la vida de Billie.

La autora retoma la historia justo donde la dejó para meternos de lleno en el mundo de Billie, por lo que es super orgánico engancharte. Hablar de una segunda parte sin spoilers es un poco complicado, pero lo que sí puedo decir es que no faltará el drama y lo que ya prácticamente se convirtió en un pentágono amoroso, escenas spicy, pero sobre todo mucho romance.
La sorpresa viene en la última parte, ¡¡¡aún no supero el final!!! La nota de la autora fue lo que me ayudó a darle sentido y continuar con mi vida. De verdad, lo tienen que leer para saber de lo que hablo. Muy recomendado.

So we left off with Billie having some tough choices and pretty much at a crossroads at the end of Moonstruck At Midnight. Things are pretty rocky with William, Caleb, and Thomas hanging in the balance. Thomas needs put in his place, his temper is a real issue. There is jealousy brewing amongst Caleb and William, but for different reasons.
What I Loved:
-the sarcasm and banter in this one! Billie and William are constantly giving each other a run for their money, and Billie is always ready to one up him, and I love it!
-just when I thought I had all of my ducks in a row with these men (Thomas, William, and Caleb) a new player has joined the game…Nathan (the hot lawyer) 🥵
-the Halloween party, and The Metropolitan Opera…IYKYK
-the hurt that is happening in this book. I am just so wrecked with emotion 😭
Alejandra Andrade has gone and done it again! The writing was so fluid, just absolute perfection on a page. The story was beautiful and emotionally heartbreaking at the same time. This time you tore me apart and I am NOT put back together yet. This book emotionally ripped my heart out and that cliffhanger has me in a wreck until January when the third book releases!

Esta es la segunda parte en la serie de la autora y hasta el momento es hasta dónde está traducido en español.
Esta vez Billie tendrá que elegir el mejor rumbo para su corazón Después de la desastrosa, por no decir peligrosa, ruptura con Thomas, Billie decide enfocarse en sus amigas y en crear su propia felicidad en Nueva York. Aunque parece que las cosas finalmente están mejorando, aún tiene asuntos pendientes que resolver con su indeciso corazón: se debate entre la complicada relación con su guardaespaldas Caleb y el intenso coqueteo con William, su irresistible vecino sueco, sin mencionar a alguien que entrará en su vida para darle un giro completo.
Este libro fue muy rápido de leer y de hecho me lo acabé en un día a pesar de las 300 páginas que tenía el libro. Sigo odiando los triángulos amorosos, aunque sean adictivos de leer.
La verdad me gusto más esta segunda entrega y me faltaron algunos momentos que me hubieran gustado leer. Creo que en este libro se pudo apreciar un poco de desarrollo por parte de los personajes.
Me hizo sentir tantas cosas en tan poco tiempo y a veces me estresaba a tal punto que me daba un coraje. En este libro vi mucho más vivida a billie y fue algo que me gustó a su vez, aunque muy pronto aprenderá de las decisiones de su vida amorosa.
Creo que hubiera tantas cosas que hicieron estar pegada al libro, pero ninguna como Caleb, porque él es mi personaje favorito de esta serie.

Billie's story continues in this book. We get to see how her relationship with Caleb pans out, if William will ever talk to her again, and a new guy comes into the mix.
This book was definitely a page-turner because of the high drama. I wish that Billie didn't jump around and flip flop so much, but I guess if I had that many hot guys after me, I would be indecisive too.
I am definitely going to continue reading this series to see who she ends with. I think with how this book ended, it will change Billie's perspective on everything going on in her life.

Ay tengo los sentimientos a flor de piel y siempre me pasa cuando un libro me llega al corazón 😭✨
La verdad me gusto mucho más que el primero, tiene una secuencia más rápida pero sin embargo es muy entretenida.
Tenemos un nuevo personaje que omg me cayó muy bien pero siempre seré team Caleb, sorry not sorry 😌

The way I’m emotionally invested in this series
I’m HOOKED. I was so not expecting the ending of this book and I cannot stop thinking about it. I’m glad everything with Thomas came full circle but I’m SHOOK.
No spoilers because I want this review to inspire others to read, but just know this is a series filled with love and friendship and DRAMA. All the drama 🤌 and not just because William is an actor.
And on top of the compelling story, the author is SUCH A gem. Seriously such a sweetheart and her writing is relatable and beautiful and I’m a huge fan. READ THIS SERIES!

I was not ready for this. This series is my entire life right now. I can’t stop thinking about Billie, Caleb and William. I love the character development, I love living in Billie’s head and being by her side on her journey. The love triangles are just everything In Alejandra’s books.
But oh my poor heart. I was not ready for that heartbreak and I am still recovering from it. I love the dialogue and pacing in the story and I can’t put the third book down.

I'm still processing the ending. I just...I'm not ready to talk about it.
Alejandra's storytelling ability is so captivating, you will truly feel immersed in Billie's world. It is sexy, sophisticated, and so entertaining.

Si el primer libro estuvo bueno este estuvo aun mejor! Aunque al principio estuvo algo repetitivo conforme pasen los capítulos no puedes parar de leer.
La forma de escribir de la autora es muy sencilla lo que hace que sea una lectura rápida y tranquila que te hace pasar un buen rato.
Durante todo el libro sientes cómo conectas con el personajes y vas creciendo junto con Billie. William es mi favorito, aunque en algunos momentos también fui team Caleb, la relación con Nathan se me hace un poco forzada.
Definitivamente no veía venir el final.

I was absolutely enamored with Heartstruck at Dawn and its highly relatable characters, quirky dialogue, and laugh out loud moments,
While the plotline of Heartstruck at Dawn kept me on my toes with the constant twists and turns, the true brilliance for me has to be the properly developed characters and superb writing.
Billie Murphy is an absolute mess but I could not help empathizing with her situation, I mean, haven't we all been there before with that one hot guy we can't seem to let go of? Speaking of hot guys we shouldn't want but do, William was just the right amount of bad boy that had readers hating to love him. Of course, the dynamic cast would not be complete without some eye candy and a crazy stalker in the mix.
Heartstruck at Dawn started with a bang and the plotline immediately went into overdrive with relationship drama. Just when I thought Billie was taking one path she completely threw me off course with her indecisive behavior and signature Billie logic.
I enjoyed the inclusivity of this novel and how the author threw the bare-faced truth at readers- we can have the guy but still want someone else. There is no shame in exploring your options and taking a chance to make sure you have no regrets.
I did not realize the book would end on a cliffhanger and I am honestly still trying to assess my mental and emotional state after that devastating conclusion. Here are my current musings for this book:
-Am I still confused about where Billie's relationship triangle is headed- yes
-Is there an even bigger plot twist shrouded in secrecy and slightly teased about within the book- yes
-Am I utterly destroyed and are seriously wishing the author would sprinkle some paranormal mumbo -jumbo to get back my heart- ABSOLUTELY
