I’ll never get over this series. THE WRITING! THE LOVE! THE DRAMA! THE GROWTH!!!!! And hello WILLIAM. I am just so head over in heels in love with These characters. I felt every little thing Billie felt. And tho I missed my favorite, William was everything.
‘William was like the sun. It shows up every single day, but it’s unpredictable and unique every single time. Never boring. Like a perfect sunset that you can’t stop looking at with awe, even if you’ve seen it a thousand times — right until your sucked in by the first shades of dusk. And as I stand there, aching for morning, yearning for the sun to rise again at dawn, the moon shines above, and it too reminds me of him. Every single time. My sun and my moon’

I was extremely fortunate to receive an advance copy of AWESTRUCK AT DUSK for an honest review. Having read both books leading up to this one - MOONSTRUCK AT MIDNIGHT and HEARTSTRUCK AT DAWN - I have to say this one is probably my favorite so far. Don't get me wrong--the first two books are fabulous, but I feel like this one really took the whole in-book universe to new heights for me as a reader. Billie's growth from the first book to this one is remarkable, and it's thrilling to get a front-row seat to her mind and her heart as her journey continues to intensify and become more complex. We even get to know some of the characters who were previously only in the background of the first couple books - Cecile, Tobias, Aaron, etc - on a deeper level, while meeting wonderful and engaging new characters too along the way (looking at you, Liam!). All in all, I highly recommend this book and this series as a whole. It's a world you won't want to leave after you're done reading!

When Billie thinks she's finally getting her life on track she gets hit by a tragic loss. The grief is almost unbearable, and to top it off the security around her tightens even more, making her feel suffocated. Her boyfriend Nathan tries to be there for her, but he works a lot and often has to travel. Billie loves him and knows that he loves her too, but she still can't stop thinking about her neighbor William. He's made his intentions clear, but does Billie have the courage to choose him, or will she pick Nathan, the safe choice?

I have to admit that I still have some issues with Billie. Sure, she's young (she turns 21 in this book) and has mostly lived a sheltered life, but I don't really understand her. She doesn't know what she wants, she says one thing but emotionally she wants something else. She claims to being used to turn off her feelings, yet they immidiately show on her face. A lot about Billie is contradictory. Her inner monologues and thoughts are on constant repeat, and it gets somewhat tiresome. The author is also inclined to share unnecessary and repetitive information at times, which makes me want to say "show, don't tell, please"!

Oh dear, now I sound very dismissive, but I actually like this series! I love the Sjöberg family, and I wouldn't mind hanging with some of Billie's other friends! After each book I've felt a bit empty and in need for more. I thought this was the last book in the series, but in the Author's note I learn that there will be a fourth book: Lovestruck at Sundown. AND Andrade is also writing a book on Caleb! Hopefully I won't be feeling empty all that long!

* I received a free copy of the book from BookSirens and I'm giving my honest review. *

3 ⭐️ So much angst with a happy ending

"Lead from the heart. Let the feelings take over and crash against you."

After a heartbreaking tragedy, Billie must come to terms with her grief, the secrets of her past, and her feelings for the two men she's fallen in love with.

William vs. Nathan: Who will Billie choose? Well, isn't this just the most amazing dilemma to have?! You have the super sexy Swedish actor who loves deeply and shows that love with grand gestures or a super sexy British lawyer with a heart of gold who wants to marry you. In the end, I think Billie chose the right person, but damn I felt bad for the poor guy she rejected.

As always, I loved the drama between Billie and the men in her life, but what really makes this book stand apart from the others is the beautiful growth we witness in Billie.

This girl has been through so much. From the death of her mother to the rampage of her psycho ex-boyfriend, there's a lot of trauma and hurt Billie must sort through in order to move on with her life. It was difficult during the first part of the book to witness Billie grieving for her lost loved ones, but it was necessary in order for her to find some clarity. By the end, Billie is finally able to express her true feelings, stand up for herself, and ultimately, be honest with herself - allowing her to take her life into her own hands.

Overall, this was another great addition to the series. Billie finally listened to her heart and made some wonderful discoveries about herself. I'm extremely happy with how things turned out and I only wonder what's in store for her next.

Thank you so much Alejandra Andrade for providing a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review! As always, all opinions are my own.

I can not tell you the last time that I have binged a series!

Billie is reeling with the grief of the events from book 2. Trying her best to navigate her life, she decides to focus on the things she can control in her life. She dives completely into keeping herself busy with school and her relationship with Nathan. But as she gets a little bit more flexibility in her life with new friends and a photography internship. She soon starts to feel like she is still "trapped" in that sheltered life she so wishes to escape.

I definitely feel with this book, Billie is growing more into her own. She is finally beginning to realize her own desires for her life and how they may not align with the path that has been set by her father to keep her "safe". But as with a lot of us, she is afraid of change and what the future my hold if she does not choose the "safe" route.

She is torn between Nathan and William. Both who she love, but who hold different places in her heart.

I loved that Billie is an MC that does not shy away from the hard truths and challenges. That sometimes in life we have to make decisions that are "true" for ourselves and not other people. If we only dare take that chance!

So needless to say I am extremely invested into Billie and William's storyline! And I'm super excited to read Book 4, Caleb releasing in November and then Book 5, Lovestruck at Sundown when it is released!

Lead from the heart. Let the feeling take over and crash against you.

¿A qué me refiero?

William sigue siendo perfecto.

5/5 ⭐️

• ENGLISH REVIEW•

Probably my favorite book of the Moonstruck Series that I've read so far (fighting for the spot with 2nd). The level of improvement, not only in the strength of the characters, but also in the writer's pen, is magnificent to see.

From the previous books I always rescued more the romance, but this time my favorite part was seeing Billie's growth as the pages progressed. Since the first book, she has been a character in constant learning, becoming more mature, but in Awestruck she gets that little boost she needed to launch herself into the world and face her fears.

Many of the questions of the first two books are answered in this one (yes, one of the most important milestones that has followed Billie since the beginning of the story is finally discovered). There are also several plot twists that I didn't see coming. The wonderful thing about this is that somehow you feel included in the plot twist, because you were part of an idea that never was (perhaps this part is not well understood and I WOULD LOVE TO TELL YOU MORE, BUT YOU SHOULD READ IT Seriously!)

I think that with this book you will have a hard time starting, and not because the story is slow, but because the end of the second book leaves us very susceptible to the beginning of the third, which I must admit is very hard to read. As these scenes are gradually overcome, the reading becomes faster and more addictive, without losing the nostalgia of the first two books.

And in case you were wondering: I'm still #TeamWilliam until death ✨🤪

This is the third book in the series and picks up where Heartstruck at Dawn left off. In this book we follow Billie as she tries to work through her trauma and deal with feelings of grief and guilt as well as navigate life without her best friend by her side, following the dramatic events that occurred at the end of the previous book.

As with the other books in the series, I couldn’t help but binge it to find out if Billie would follow her heart to William or whether her head would win and she’d stick with safe and steady Nathan.

This is such a great series to read if you’re looking for romance, drama, sexual tension and a will they, won’t they scenario ❤️ Book 4 has been announced this week so there’s still more to come 😃

This book is the third book of the Moonstruck series and it is a continuation of Billie's story after the shocking ending of book two. I thought this book was entertaining and it had lots of juicy drama. The grief that Billie experiences was heartbreaking. The story dragged a little for me at some parts, with a bit too much dialogue that didn't necessarily help the plot progress. But overall, it was enjoyable and it had the ending I was hoping for.

When I finally got the ending I wanted, the book ended. I'll have to read book four to see how the story pans out!

⚠️: grief, PTSD, gun violence

After I read book 1 and 2, I was so invested in every character, I just knew them all too well after reading each book several times 🙈 I knew exactly what I wanted and expected of book 3, we’ll let me tell ya Alejandra knows exactly what’s she’s doing and she loves to play little games with her readers and I love that because she kept me on my toes with this one and blew mi mind, she made me hate and love a character at the same time so amazing, she introduced new characters that I reallyyyyy hope are in book 4 or better yet get their own story, she also gave beautiful closure were Billie needed the most and I loved it 😍 can’t wait for book 4

Awestruck at Dawn is a cute rom-com featuring the enigmatic Billie Murphy and her chaotic life.

Picking up where we left off, Billie is coming to terms with severe loss and has grown rather introspective about her current circumstances. I liked that she has matured significantly from the previous book and finally took a stance against her father's stifling ways.

Awestruck at Dawn heats up as Billie finds herself locked in a love triangle between William, the man she can't seem to let go of and who took a bullet for her, and Nathan, the man who has been her rock and solace and her very present fiance- Hello DRAMA.

As if this wasn't enough, there's Nathan's sister aka the new chick on the block, who has firmly planted herself between William and Billie and is slowly causing a rift between them. Williams continues to be an enigma right up until the very end and I adored that he made readers love to hate him.

One thing I will say for the author, Alejandra knows how to leave readers utterly speechless with her jaw-dropping revelations, and Awesome at Dawn was a splendid example of this. I was absolutely floored by the truth that was teased but never fully explored since book one.

My only qualm with Awestruck at Dawn was the tidy ending but based on the epic cliffhanger of the previous book it was simply hard to top.

Thank you to Reedsy Discovery and the author for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review.

“𝓑𝓪𝓫𝔂, 𝓘’𝓶 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼”

I’m going to keep this review short because if I say too much it will give away major spoilers from book 2 and how this series ends.

Awestruck At Dusk is book 3 in the Moonstruck series and I loved it. It’s filled with laughs, love, and D R A M A. I loved Billie’s growth, I loved her courage to finally go after what she wanted, and I loved all the answers we got. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll be rooting for Billie from start to finish!

“𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽’𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓷𝓪𝓶𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓰?”
“𝓘 𝓭𝓸𝓷’𝓽 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓽𝓮𝓵𝓵 𝓶𝓮”
“𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓭𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓶𝓮𝓪𝓷?”
“𝓘 𝔀𝓻𝓸𝓽𝓮 𝓲𝓽 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝔂𝓸𝓾. 𝓘 𝓷𝓪𝓶𝓮𝓭 𝓲𝓽 𝓤𝓼. 𝓑𝓾𝓽 𝓲𝓽’𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓷𝓪𝓶𝓮 𝓲𝓯 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓪𝓷𝓽 𝓽𝓸”

My heart is so happy with who Billie chooses to be with. His constant support for her, the need to take care of her, and show her how much she means to him was my favorite part of the story. He understands Billie in a way no one else can, and see right through her to know exactly what she needs. Every. Single. Time. 💛

Alejandra wrapped this up with the prettiest bow and I am so happy for Billie and her ending. This book was so so good, I refused to go to sleep until I finished it. Her writing draws you in and you’ll be saying “one more chapter” until it’s LITERALLY the last chapter!

“𝓐𝓼 𝓘 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓪𝓬𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮, 𝔂𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓾𝓷 𝓽𝓸 𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓮 𝓪𝓰𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓪𝓽 𝓭𝓪𝔀𝓷, 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓶𝓸𝓸𝓷 𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓼 𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓿𝓮, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓲𝓽 𝓽𝓸𝓸 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓼 𝓶𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓱𝓲𝓶. 𝓔𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓵𝓮 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮. 𝓜𝔂 𝓼𝓾𝓷 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓶𝔂 𝓶𝓸𝓸𝓷.”

This is the third book in the Moonstruck series and my favorite! If you’re a fan of contemporary romance novels and self-discovery stories, you should read this series. I’ve really enjoyed watching Billie mature through the books. Without any spoilers, I will say I was crying by page 22 of this book and smiling by the end. For some reason I thought this was a trilogy and was excited to find out book four is coming summer 2022!

Thank you to the author for a gifted copy.

I want the 4th book now!!!
I need the 4th book now 😂

445 pages of constant inmerse into all these characters
that fascinated me. Feeling the rush, the sadness, the happiness and excitement on every single chapter as you keep reading.

This third book definitely shows the growing phase of the main character (Billie) and everyone else around her.

This one was the quickest one to read
Page turner! even though it’s longer than the first two ones that I’ve also loved. It has developed a feeling of a more familiar space around us readers, characters and author ❤️
Love the Author’s note every single time.
Shows the closeness that comes natural from Ale to her readers.

She has outstand herself again.
Thanks for this one.

Perfect Gift for any reason!!!!
Cannot wait for the grand finale.
