I enjoyed this New Adult Romance set in the brutal world of underground fight clubs. I liked how Claire turned her life around to become a strong and capable young woman, facing and overcoming some of her greatest fears. Tobias was a bit of a contradiction at times though – fierce and focused in the ring but, also quite insecure in several matters pertaining to Claire. For a young couple, they certainly had more than their share of setbacks and challenges to overcome.

Overall, there’s plenty of drama, secrets, a ton of angst, some suspense, tragedy, MMA action & violence along with several steamy, explicit encounters. While some aspects of the story played out as I anticipated, there were several truly surprising reveals as well. Also, it was somewhat hard to believe that Claire and Tobias were able to keep their clandestine activities a secret from so many, for so long.

Claire is taken to her step uncles Charlie's house after an incident with her step brother. There she meets Tobias, Charlies son. Tobias is an MMA fighter in underground fights, when the next tournament coming up his rivals decide to target the one he wants the most, Claire. Well written filled with desires, hot steamy scenes, angst and more.

Claire is being punished by getting sent to her uncle’s farm. When she meets her step-cousin, sparks fly but when powers that be want Tobias lose an MMA fight the plan on using Claire as leverage. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with intense chemistry. I liked it.

I had to read every available time I had. This serie captured me. Not that it's something new, when reading books by Tabatha Kiss.
Following different characters when they are 'growing up', at the samet time getting into the story full hearted.
Just loved it.
