Yawn. I have to save my family business from the big bad wolf who coerced my grandparents into selling controlling interest...but first, let me sleep with him. 🙄😒

Every time I read a JC Harroway book I end up with a new favourite and this was no exception.
The fire between Sterling and Ava is palpable, intense, off-the-charts hot! The hatred made all the more visceral by their attraction, and instead of fighting it, they use it to exact revenge on one another. But of course, the more they learn about each other, the more it goes beyond the physical and you can't help but fall in love right along with them. Their backstories are rich and interesting, their motivations believable, and thus their war is too.
If you like your romances with a dark and super-sexy edge you need this one!

This is the second story in the Billionaire Bedmates series and is all about Sterling and Ava, which is told over the course of 13 Chapters (+Epilogue). We first met Sterling in JC Harroway's previous book 'Bound to You', you can find my review Here.
I can sum up this book in four words addictive, completely captivating and Steamy. From the moment the reader starts this book they will be unable to put this book down or even get it out of their mind. This book completely took me over to the point that if I wasn't reading it I was thinking about it. I didn't want the book to stop or to stop reading it. I hated the thought at putting this book down.
This book takes the steamy scenes to a new level. Not only do Ava and Sterling have verbal foreplay that builds anticipation for the sexy scenes but the sexy or steamy scenes (depending on what you call them) are a cut above what I have read previously. It's like the author decided to outdo herself with this book.
Ava is all about family ties and keeping her family close. However Sterling is the opposite, he is the complete opposite. He does not want family ties, at least not to all his family.
This book ties nicely into the first in the series. It gives the reader just enough information to make them interested in book one. The author gives you enough of a taste that it will make the reader want to read the first one or re read it in my case. Although the books happen at the same time I would highly recommend reading them in order.
Overall I loved this book so much and can't wait until JC's next release. I have never read a book by her that I haven't completely adored. In fact it is really hard not to enjoy books by this author.

A delectable enemies to lovers bombshell! With the second half of her Billionaire Bedmates duet JC Harroway delights with a passionate encounter that leads to all the feels in TEMPTING THE ENEMY. The characters were attention grabbing, their plight was sincere and their connection was more than they ever expected.
Ava steals a readers heart quickly with how personal this business dealing is to her. She's undeniably tempted by him, but she has so much at stake.
Sterling has been a mystery since his ex-wife Monroe's story so I was pleased to get to know him and his side of parts of their history. I enjoyed him a lot.
I recommend this book and the entire duet to anyone who enjoys a fast paced sensual story filled with angst, passion and happily ever afters.
