Unable to make it himself, Grumbler had made a simple request that I accompany his old lady to her prenatal appointment. If I hadn’t, I would never have come across her, a woman broken in only ways a woman could break. Someone who desperately needed a friend in her corner.
Why did that have to be me? Believe me, I’d asked that of myself, but I couldn’t just walk away.
I had to use a truck when I visited her, which meant I wasn’t wearing a cut. She didn’t know I was a biker.
Perhaps it would have been better had she never found out.
Saffie I’m a woman on the run from my past, a past so horrific I’m surprised I survived. I thought I’d known the worst that life could throw at me, but I was sadly very wrong.
When Niran came across me, I was breaking apart, and nothing could put me back together. Nothing, perhaps, then this man who seemed determined to try.
Until I found out he represented all my nightmares rolled into one.
The past, which I thought I’d left behind, is closing in on me. And to fight it, I need Niran by my side.
Note : This book is ends on a cliffhanger, Part 2 can be pre-ordered now. It's also dark and is not for the faint-hearted or those easily triggered.
Manda’s life's always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?
There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.
Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.
Avenging Devil Part One is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series by Manda Mellett. As the title suggests, this story is set to continue in part two and ends on quite an intense cliffhanger- but no need to worry, the second part is set to release soon, so thankfully we don’t need to be on tenterhooks for long. But OMG, I am going to be counting down to get my hands on the second instalment and continue reading just so I can find out what happens. Manda Mellett certainly put her characters, and me, through the wringer with this story. I have read all of Ms. Mellett’s books now and can rely on her to bring something new each and every time. She always manages to toy with my emotions, weaving layers, tension, dramatic developments, and complexity into every storyline. And this story was a great example of that. As with the rest of the Satan’s Devils stories- this is an MC romance, with plenty to keep you flipping the pages and finding excuses to stay in the story just so you can keep reading. I won’t get into the story here, as I don’t want to spoil it for you- m=but if you are a MC romance lover, a fan of Manda Mellett- or just enjoy romantic suspense- then you definitely won’t want to miss this story. Bring on Part Two!
Mind Blown - ARC This is my own opinion and Nobody else's
I was supper excited to read this book have been anticipating it for a while and Boy oh Boy did Manda Bring it to the table!

Avenging Devil Part 1 is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC Dan Diego series. Obviously since this is part one, it is not a standalone. It ends on a hard cliffhanger, but you can read it without having read the previous two books in the series. I would also say that you definitely should heed the content warning of this being a book that could trigger sensitive readers.
This book was a difficult read. Not because it’s not written well, the author did amazing work with this story. The subject matter is very real and it’ll get you right in the feels. Saffie’s had a hard life and the hits just keep coming. And the choice she has to make is really hard to read about because this is real-life stuff.
Something I liked about the book was that it is not insta-love or even insta-lust. They are having to build everything from the ground up, especially trust. I feel like this is going to make the end of the next book truly satisfying.
Cyn… lawd have mercy, she tries my last nerve. I hope that she redeems herself in part two. Right now, reading about her is like someone running their nails down a chalkboard. But, that’s part of creating a good character – getting an emotional response from the reader.
This book is an intense, but good read. I look forward to part two. Although, I have a feeling I’m going to want to throw the book across the room at least once before I get to the satisfying conclusion, lol.
Yes this is a 2 part story. Yes it does end on a cliff hanger. Yes this part does set the scene.
BUT! YOU DONT WANNA MISS IT.
Honestly there can be some triggers in this story. Sexual abuse, rape (mentioned as a memory) emotional abuse, assault, and possible rape drug mentioned.
Despite all of the above, Niran and the Satans Devils are typically themselves, working together, having each others backs, supporting Saffie even though they dont know her or her full story. Even with Niran preparing himself to leave, if its what Saffie needs. We also meet Niran family, his oblivious half sister, a dozy mother and his dtep father. We even have the continuing story of Mary and Grumbler. I loved Kinks breakdown of a Dom, what it means and his/her role in a subs life, and how it pertains to Niran and Saffie.
I cannot wait until part two and I pity the idiot or idiots that crossed the Devils

Manda you out did yourself with this book!! Yes it did end in an cliffhanger but the next book will be out soon. There can be some triggers in this story.
This is Niran and Saffie’s story. When Niran gets discharged out of the Marines he finds himself with the help of the Santana Devil MC. While helping Grumbler by taking Mary to the doctor he meets Saffie. He feels drawn to her and what’s to help her. His half sister is not happy with the way things are at home and leave to find him.
Saffie has had one bad marriage then finds herself in another one. After five years of abuse she finally gets out with help. When she finally thinks her life is going good it give her another twist.
Speechless. Just speechless. I don’t know how the author ties it. Makes me so mad to be left standing without the second piece of the story and loving her all the more for it. Emotional and raw, this book - no words. I’m going to be reading this over and over until Part Two arrives. Major book hangover!
I loved Saffie and Niran’s story so far and I hate cliffhangers! Saffie has a hard life with a different MC before meeting Niran. Niran is trying to help her and keep her safe.
Omg cliffhanger or what poor Kidd tho I love when there's a gripping story that you can't put down this is that the second is going to be a great one to finish their story can't wait
Oh my! I love Manda's writing. She makes you really think about a subject and drags you along for the journey, whether you want to go or not. This book is no different.
While on the whole, the characters have moved along much as I would expect in the circumstances, which are harrowing at best, the curve balls are the sister and her freaky hang around friend. They genuinely give me the creeps; their attachment issues are not healthy!!!
So, on the whole a solid read, but I will say, I'm grumpy cause it's a 2 parter! There I said it.
Niran is a biker with the Satan’s Devils MC, he has been a member for a couple of years and was a United States Marine before that, he only left when he was medically retired due to losing his leg and had been drifting in a civilian life until he came across the MC and never looked back, even though the prospecting was hard work. Saffie is a broken woman in more ways than one, she thought she had met the man of her dreams until she married him and it all went downhill from there and five years later, she is still a prisoner in his eyes and the eyes of those around him, but one day after she is beaten to within an inch of her life and needs to go to the hospital. It is in that hospital that she makes a decision which will change her life again, she finds out that she is pregnant with his child, but that though terrifies her enough to agree and accept an offer of help to finally escape her life of hell.
Niran is at work as usual in the auto shop the Devil's own and he is waiting for his boss and fellow member to get back from a trip to LA, however, when he calls and asks Niran to go to the hospital with his old lady for an prenatal appointment, Niran is honoured to be asked and accepts with no questions asked. Saffie meanwhile is trying to settle down in her new life in San Diego, but she is worried that her husband will find her and drag her back, so she moves to a different and cheaper apartment and now that a few months have passed and he is still nowhere in sight, Saffie decides to go and get a check up and see how her baby is doing. As Niran is escorting his boss’s old lady into the hospital, he notices a woman sat on her own and his eyes keep getting drawn back to her, he thinks no more of it until after the appointment where he sees the woman again in the car park crying hysterically and neither he, nor the woman he is accompanying can leave her in such a state, so they go over and talk to her and try to offer some comfort. In the process of doing this they offer to drive her home, she accepts the woman's help, however appears terrified of Niran, which he can understand with him being a tall, well built black man. When they get to her apartment, it is not the best place for a woman on her own to be living, so after she has calmed down a bit Niran offers to stay while his companion returns home, Saffie isn’t especially comfortable with this, but she grees because she doesn’t want to be on her own and for some reason, she feels comfortable with him.
This is how the two spend the next few days with Niran staying at the apartment after work until one day she finds out who he is associated with and throws him out of the house, she is even more terrified than before and refuses any more of his help, that is until a few weeks later when he finds out something has happened and steps in to offer his help and comfort again, but this is something Saffie still isn’t comfortable with despite assurances from multiple different people. However, she receives information that her past is possibly coming back to haunt her and she realises that she may need Niran’s help after all, but will she be able to get over her misgivings and accept the help offered to her, or will she run for the hills and disappear? This is an MC romance with a dark twist which will hook you in and keep you on the edge of your seat throughout.
Avenging Devil: Part 1 Satan’s Devils MC by Manda Mellet was a hard to put down book as I delved into the lives of Niran and Saffie. Niran, a biker, is nothing like what one would expect from a biker. He is kind, caring, nurturing and wants to help. When Niran finds Saffie she is an emotional train wreck and a shell of her former self. Despite this, Niran finds himself attracted to her quiet beauty and he finds himself wanting to help her. Saffie has been savagely assaulted by members of another biker’s club, so she is justifiably terrified of all bikers. Saffie trusts no one and prefers to be alone because she is terrified of getting close to anyone for fear of getting hurt again. Or worse, her ex, Duke, finding her and killing her because she left him.
Saffie refuses Niran’s help and continuously pushes him away, thwarting any efforts Niran makes to help her or try to keep her safe from her abusive ex, Duke. Regardless of how many times Saffie pushes Niran away he feels compelled to help her and does everything he can to show her that he only wants to see her safe and happy. You can feel Niran’s despair and helplessness as he reaches out to help Saffie and keeps getting pushed away. Saffie wants to accept help but is overcome with a paralyzing fear of being abused again. My heart ached for Saffie, and I found myself wanting to help her because after all that she had been through she should not be alone. Despite all the horrendous abuse and tragedy that has befallen poor Saffie she continued to persevere.
Avenging Devil: Part 1 Satan’s Devils MC San Diego was an intense emotional rollercoaster ride of emotions as you are drawn into the lives of both Saffie and Niran. You find yourself overcome with intense grief and anguish for Saffie while holding your breath waiting anxiously to see what, if anything, will become of her and Niran. This book will leave you wanting more! It is a must read!
Avenging Devil Part 1 is the third book in the San Diego chapter if Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils series, and the first in a two-part story. (It ends on a cliffhanger – be warned!). Avenging Devil is pretty dark, even by the standards of the other Satan’s Devils books which address plenty of difficult and at times scary issues. I would definitely recommend reading some of the other Satan’s Devils books first – Being Lost is the first in the San Diego chapter and a good place to start. Avenging Devil starts with scenes in a different Motorcycle Club that’s incredibly violent and disrespectful and for me knowing that the Satan’s Devils aren’t at all like that helped me get through those scenes. I could not put this book down, and when I had to at times I was still thinking about it. And I knew it was a two part story and could see I was getting near the end but I was still totally unprepared for the cliffhanger. I went straight to get hold of the second part only to realise it’s not out yet. Oh no! So if you’re as impatient as me you might want to wait until the 23rd July 2021 so you can read both parts of the story together. I really like the ever-growing family of characters in the Satan’s Devils. From Grumbler’s musical hobbies to Snips’ toothless grins, they’re a fun group and bring moments of lightness and comic relief to the stories. For me, this is a five-star read and I cannot WAIT for the second part to come out! I would not recommend this as a starting point in the series – there are plenty of good entry points (I started off with Paladin’s Hell, you could also start with Being Lost, Turning Wheels or Road Tripped) and this is a great series whether or not you’re interested in motorcycles – the characters are fantastic and Mellett presents a wonderfully human and diverse array of characters and relationships.
I am a big fan of Manda Mellett’s and always look forward to a new Satan’s Devils MC novel coming out and as usual I was not disappointed by this latest instalment. The storyline is set within the San Diego chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC and is book three in the series. This story focuses on ex marine and biker Niran and Saffie, who meet at the hospital when Niran takes Grumbler’s ‘Old Lady’ Mary to a prenatal appointment. Saffie is also there for an appointment and gets some life changing sad news. Saffie is on the run from a horrific past and feels as though she is falling apart when she meets Niran, Niran sees that Saffie is a strong women who is hurting and needs a friend, which is what they become at first. When they first meet Niran is not wearing his Cut and is in his truck so Saffie does not realise he is part of a MC straightaway and when she finds out it’s like her worst nightmare. However, with her past catching up with her she also realises that she needs Niran by her side.
This novel takes you on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it and as it’s part one of two it does end on a very dramatic cliffhanger, so I am impatiently waiting for part two now. This is a very dark and intense read which deals with very harrowing themes which may be triggers for some. Having said that as usual the story is wonderfully written and the authors descriptive narrative brings the Satan’s Devils MC setting and characters to life. I felt fully immersed in the storyline and the dramatic plot kept me both gripped and hooked from start to finish. This is an engaging romantic suspense MC novel which I could not put down and I am looking forward to part two especially following that cliffhanger ending……
Avenging Devil Part 1 (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #3) by Manda Mellett
5 STARS
OH MY GOODNESS!! Took me 3 days after I finished this to be able to write a review that was not in all caps and I'm now somewhat able to sort my thoughts.
I've ended books a complete mess before but this one added with feeling so much anger and feeling like I wanted to jump into my kindle and do something...I don't know exactly what I could've done but dang it I needed to do something.
This is the first part of a two part story. I truly don't know how I'll wait a month for the next part. This one did not just end on a cliffhanger, I'm not hanging from anything, I have literally fell off that cliff and am just falling ever so slowly while I wait!
To say this was one of the most emotional books in all of the many Satan's Devils books is putting it mildly.
I just can't with this author right now… I've mentioned many times that I don't know how she does it and keeps doing it but she has done it again and gone above and beyond every previous book. If you have not read the Satan's Devils WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
This one was tough. I'm not going to lie. There were some scenes and subjects that were tough to read, tough to visualize, and tough to think about. I'm blessed that I don't have any triggers while reading, I know many do and this could be really hard to read for some. The story though was raw, and sadly so real and was written as usual in vintage Manda Mellett fashion….Beautifully!
I'll be here waiting not so patiently for the next… I have a love/hate relationship with this book that I absolutely must know what happens next!
“Avenging Devil Part 1” is another masterful novel by Manda Mellet. This MC romantic suspense novel is one of the best I’ve read in this series. **All novels can be read independently, but I recommend reading in order.**
Niran is a former Marine and has only been with Satan’s Devils MC for about three years. As a former Marine, Niran knows what it means to be a part of a group and that loyalty is needed for the safety of all the members.
Saffie is on the run. After a terrible five years of being married to the VP of the Crazy Wolves MC, Saffie manages to get out with the help of The Freedom Trail, a group that helps victims of abuse start new lives away from their abusers. Saffie’s new identity is set up in San Diego. She wants nothing to do with a motorcycle again.
Niran has to take Mary, Grumbler’s old lady, to the doctor for a pregnancy checkup. While there he sees a lady who seems very much alone. Upon leaving the facility, Mary rushes over to the same woman who has collapsed in tears beside her car after her appointment. With a lot of fuss, Mary manages to get Saffie to agree to let them help her get home. Niran feels an instant connection with Saffie because she needs support. They become friends until she finds out that he’s in a motorcycle club. This drives a wedge between the two, but circumstances change when her ex has found out that she has relocated to San Diego. Fearing for Saffie’s safety, Niran tries to get her to let go of her inhibitions about MC clubs. Will the Devils be able to help Saffie before it’s too late? Will Niran finally find compatibility with a woman that he wants to call his own?
Avenging Devil Part 1 Satan's Devils MC San Diego By Manda Mellett ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ This is a full length MC novel. You will find romance as well as survival. Not for the faint heart or those under 18, due to the adult theme. Also you may want to start from the beginning and read each book in order of the series. Taking the time to get to know each character.
This is Niran and Saffie's story. Saffie has run from the man she calls husband. Living in hiding and never feeling safe. She is unbelievably strong. When she comes across Niran, she feels safe but keeps her distance in order to remain in hiding. She wants nothing to do with MCs or those who belong to them. Niran is in a MC, Satan's Devils to be exact. He has a kind heart and is always willing to help others. When he finds Saffie scared and crying, he goes to her rescue. But will Saffie let him help? Will Niran be the help she needs? Will they be safe and will the Satan's Devils come to help?
Manda Mellett has done it once again. This story will draw you in and keep you reading. The knowledge she holds about MCs is unbelievable. I love Niran and Saffie, as well as the other characters. The emotional Rollercoaster was incredible and Dark at the same time. Be prepared to put your emotions on your sleeve. Worst of all, this book ends in a cliffhanger. Now I need to wait for part two of Niran and Saffie's incredible story. Well Done Manda Mellett! Well Done!
I can't express how much I love these books by Manda Mellett. Every book she writes is full of emotion, danger and romance. But as its based around a MC club the romances aren't ever simple or easy but so worth it. This is part 1 of a 2 part series and it definately ends on a cliff hanger that had me hanging on the edge of my seat for the second book.
In this book we meet Saffie. Saffie is an old lady of another MC club. But they don't run by the same rules as the Devils. Saffie's old man is an abuser, he is violent and attacks Saffie almost to the point of death. Finally after the last attack that almost kills her she manages to escape. Living under an assumed name in a new place she hopes to start a new life. Just her and her precious baby. That is until she gets another kick. Niran is part of the Satan Devils MC. After meeting Saffie he feels drawn to her. She is a lost soul who needs help and support and for some reason he feels the need to be that for her.
Their friendship/relationship is beautiful in the fact that it starts as nothing and you witness it growing through the story. After what happened with Saffie's ex will she be able to trust Niran when she finds out he's part of a MC club or will it shatter them.
The emotions and the story is in parts very hard to read such as Saffie's abuse and the struggle of her decision over the baby. Manda handles both situations with compassion and understanding which makes the story realistic.
This booked hooked me from the beginning and I held on til the end...and now I can't wait to see what happens in the next book!
Saffie is married to the VP of a MC. She is used and abused and definitely not treated like the old ladies we have gotten to know throughout this series. When she ends up in the hospital...she is given an opportunity that she can't refuse.
Niran is a member of the San Diego chapter of Satan's Devils. He is a former Marine that has found a family in the MC. When helping out one of his brother's women, he crosses paths with Saffie. His protector side comes out and he finds himself wanting to be her friend...because she obviously needs one!
As the truth of Saffie's past comes out, Niran finds that he will have major hurdles to overcome just to be friends with her. As the danger gets closer, he finds himself wanting to do whatever he can to protect her...but her past is keeping her from accepting the help. When trouble is at her door...it might be too late!
Gah..this book was amazing. I found myself glued to the story because I needed to know what was going to happen. Like all the books in the series...the other members of the MC (and their spouses) all play a significant role in the story. And I have not figured out what's up with Niran's sister yet...but it can't be good. I will definitely be waiting for book 2 to come out because this one ends on quite the cliffhanger!
Just when you think you’ve read Manda’s best work yet (as in every time she releases a book) she goes and delivers this angst filled and emotionally heartbreaking read, telling us readers the story of Niran and Saffie.
After getting discharged from the Marines Niran became part of the San Diego chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC, he’s a man who’s quite happy living the lifestyle he does, riding alongside his brothers and working away in the clubs auto-shop. He’s single but often wonders what it would be like to have an old lady, someone to be there for him when he comes home at night, however he feels like that opportunity has passed him by, that is until he meets Saffie.
As a favour to Grumbler, Niran takes Mary (Grumbler’s wife) to a hospital appointment, it’s there where he first sets eyes on the Saffie, the unconventionally beautiful yet clearly broken young woman who’s also got a hospital appointment, hers doesn't go quite as well as Mary’s does, she’s just been given some life changing news which both Mary and Niran witness the aftermath to and that's what leads to the beginning of Narin and Saffie’s friendship of sorts.
Things start of good, well as good as can be considering Saffie’s circumstances, she has her reasons for being nervous and wary of others, those nerves only amplify when she realises that Niran is part of an MC, at first she’s determined to have nothing to do with Niran or any of the others related to the MC but somehow the pair of them are drawn towards one another, with Saffie slowly letting her guard down around him as well as some of his brothers as they rally round her in her time of need. However the appearance of Niran’s sister causes him more problems than needed especially when she stirs up trouble between him and Saffie resulting in her going from a place of safety, straight into the arms of danger with Niran there right behind her. Now the wait is on to find out if the pair will make it out with their lives intact, will the Satan’s Devils come to the rescue of their brother and the woman who’s slowly captured his heart?
I have become a HUGE Manda Mellett fan while reading her Satans Devils books and this next story in the Satan's Devils MC San Diego series does not disappoint in any way! what a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Oh and what a tease is Ms Mellett splitting this one into two parts!!
Saffie is on the run from an extremely abusive husband and MC member of a very violent MC club, when she meets Niran and Mary while leaving an appointment at the hospital. It was an extremely emotional appointment for the very fragile Saffie and upon meeting her, Niran and Mary both want to help the young woman. After some resistance a friendship begins to grow until Saffie finds out Niran is in fact a member of an MC. Saffies past experiences are understandably hard things for her to forget and she can't bring herself to believe that not all MCs or all men for that matter, are the same. Nirans strong protective instinct drives him to try and be the friend she needs while also convincing her the Devils are not like her past MC experiences. As danger approaches them the big question becomes can she see past her misconception of the devils in order to protect herself and have a chance at starting the new life she dreams of.
To say I can't wait for part 2 is an understatement!! I have to know what happens next!!!!!!!!
I have been running from my past, I finally thought I had but in steps a man who I thought could rebuild me but end ups being part of the old me.
Saffie has tried hard to escape and run from the horrendous past that still haunts her but she is strong and can overcome the past in time but when one day when she believes her salvation has come into her life just to find out he is part of the world she is running from.
Niran was forced to take his VP's Old lady to her prenatal appointment and what joy that's going to be, but when he walks into the room he sees her and there is instant chemistry. Niran knows the look of a woman in need and with the draw he has to Saffie he will do anything to help her.
This is a brilliant instalment to this series and a well written, intriguing story. I loved the chemistry between these two characters and you are just willing them to get together, but there is some hard hitting storylines which was delicately written and has you drawn in from the beginning.
I loved the character of Saffie who was strong and over come so much heartbreak and evil that it breaks your heart but her will carries on. Niran's character is definitely a brilliant counter to Saffie and his pure determination to prove himself was also brilliant to read.
I can't wait for the next book as I want to see how this ends.
All I can say is wow….Once I started reading this book I was pulled right in. My heart broke for Saffie and what she was put through. When she finally gets the help she has been needing for years she gets a whole new life.
Niran joined the MC after his release from the Marines. He gets roped into taking Mary, his MC brother's wife, to her doctor's appointment. This is where he sees Saffie and is instantly drawn to her. When Mary and Niran walk out of the appointment they find Saffie in dire straits and offer her help. Nirans protective side comes out and he doesn’t want to leave her. She clearly needs help.
Will they be able to help her? Will Saffie finally find someone that she can call friends?
This read is part one and there are so many twists and turns. I will warn that right from the beginning there are huge triggers, some that even made me flinch. The things that Saffie goes through are so real that your heart goes out to her and the choices she has to make. All of the characters added a great element to the story. And we get a heck of a cliffhanger and now I can’t wait to get part 2. I need to see what happens next. If you're looking for a thrilling MC read then 1-click and get started today.
I am a huge fan of this author. Some of her books I love, some I don't care for and others are just meh. This one didn't fall in the love category. While I respect the time and effort (I cant imagine the research for Saffie’s part) it took to put these words down..it is an okay book. I like movement (forward motion for the characters and story) and action. The characters in here (Saffie had the most) had little movement. I am saying that gently as I don't want to discount the horrific life that Saffie has endured. The story just didn’t really go too far. Not much action other than what happened to Saffie. I am guessing a lot of this will change in the second part.
I do always enjoy seeing the members in their natural habitat—haha. Their joy at being together as a club and friends. Its clearly evident in here how much they care for each other and the club. There were a few new characters introduced that I loved to hate. I’m sure they were written that way and could change in the next part but bleh right now.
Overall its an okay story. I was truly horrified, saddened and disgusted for Saffie’s sake. Niran’s confused me at times but I did get to see what kind of mettle he has. I am hoping for more in the second part.
Avenging Devil is part one in the Satan's Devils MC San Diego series by the endlessly talented Manda Mellett. Her characters and stories constantly captivate and impress the reader. This one ends in a cliff hanger, so be prepared to be kept in suspense and in anticipation of part two.
Niran meets Saffie while performing an important duty. He felt various mixed emotions, some good, some not, but he could not leave her be. He became her saviour. Saffie had discovered her knight. Until she learnt about the real Niran. Her past was horrific, and it would take a man of relentless strength and stamina to be able to help her overcome her demons. Niran was that man. Their dance was monumental. The intensity between them immeasurable. The passion scorching. The tension combustible. The yearning supreme. Their hunger for each other was insatiable. The story was fraught with terror, but Niran valiantly took up the challenge. What more is in store for this couple? We are left craving the next part of their story. I was blown away by part one. Part two is going to totally wreck me. Blissfully so. 5 stars
5 Stars Avenging Devil Part 1 (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #3) by Manda Mellett
Avenging Devil Part One is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego . This Author never ceases to amaze me with her attention to detail and ability to grab your attention and don’t let go till the end. I’m a huge fan of MC and Manda Mellett knocks it out of the park every time. This book left me speechless and breathless. The things Saffie has went through shredded me. I was literally crying hard and mad I wanted protect her. This is a much darker story than some of her other books and may be a trigger for some so proceed with caution. I don’t want to give up to much so I’m just going to say grab a copy of this book today. I highly recommend it and if you haven’t started this series I recommend reading them as well. What would you do if your past came crashing down on the present? What happens when things get a tad dangerous? Find out what happens next in this must read and ill fore warn you it ends on a cliffhanger and I wanted to throw my kindle. I don’t know if I can wait a month I need it now. I as always look forward to reading more from this Author.
Avenging Devil Part 1: Satan's Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellett
I usually write my reviews just after I finish a book so it's fresh on my mind. This particular review is being written a bit after I finished the book. I need some time to let everything soak in before I felt I was ready to share my thoughts.
I have read most of the Satan’s Devils books, stumbled on this series back when it was only the Arizona chapter and was hooked from the beginning. Now we have Colorado, Utah and San Diego with Las Vegas coming soon.
With all that being said, I need to spill my guts on this book and I'm going start at the end. Why didn't I wait to read this book until closer to when part two comes out? I have to wait a month to find out what happens! I knew this going in but holy cow.
The book grabs you from the beginning and twists your guts up, chews you up and spits you out as a crying mess. I have no idea how Saffie has survived going through more pain than anyone should ever.
I have theories on why this first book ended the way it did and if it's true I'm going to be livid for Saffie and Niran.
Ok, I am now thoroughly convinced that Manda Mellett is an AMAZING author! Avenging Devil Part 1 is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego Series. What a book this was! It was complex and dark and downright so freaking good! There are so many twists and turns and emotional ups and downs, that you really don’t know what to do with yourself at times. Saffie hasn’t had the easiest life but when she marries into the MC world she never expected the life that she has. She knows she needs to get out and fast but she doesn’t even know how to attempt to leave. That’s when Niran comes in and knows that he needs to help her. Reading this book makes my heart break for Saffies character and Niran shows up when Saffie needs him the most. I loved this book and the author that wrote it. It already states that this book is Part 1 so therefore you know that this is a cliffhanger and the second book is around the corner. But what you don’t know is how much of an impact the cliffhanger really is! However, you do need to read the book to find out! You can read this book as a standalone but you know me, I always say to start at the beginning. You won’t be disappointed!
Manda Mellett really took my heart out and put it in a blender with this one. I have really loved and come to grow close to the Satan’s Devils characters that she has created, having read most of them and loved just about every single one of them. This book came with a warning and I would personally take that with caution if you tend to find them useful when choosing your novels. This one was a bit triggering for me and I typically don’t have issues with books being difficult but the way that Ms. Mellett writes her characters become so very real that I think it is almost impossible to not feel the way that they do with some ounce of that rawness and so I can see where that would be a tad real for a person. At least it was for myself. This book is deep and thought provoking. I won’t touch on the actual story or details because really that would ruin it, at least not much more than what is already given beyond the synopsis. This is one that you do not want to miss though I can promise you that. Be prepared for a cliffhanger that will leave you hungry for that part two soon to come this summer as well. I know I am waiting very excitedly!!
Avenging Devil Part 1: Satan's Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellett
5 out of 5 stars
HOWLY COW this is the best book I have read in the Satan’s Devil MC. Avenging Devil is part 1 Niran and Saffie story and it ends in a big cliff hanger. The characters are written amazingly. They are strong minded and they way these characters play off each other are great and their quirks make them feel real.
Saffie has been hurt by an MC before so when she finds out Niran is part of an MC she kicks him out and is scared that he knows her ex so she wants nothing to do with him.
Niran was discharged from the army because he lost part of his leg he was floundering until he met the Satan Devils. So, for Niran to be apart of her life he either must leave the Devil’s or show Saffie that the Satan’s Devils are totally different then the one who hurt her.
Will Saffie’s Ex find her? Will Saffie realize the Satan Devils are different from the other MC before its to late? Can Niran keep Saffie safe? Can they work against the odds to be together or are they doomed?
