NiranSaffie’s past was darker than I’d ever expected, and now I’m embroiled in the thick of it. I’m fully prepared to forfeit my life if it means I save hers, but I have no idea how I’m going to achieve that objective. I do all that I can, lying to convince them I’m one of their kind despite having the wrong skin colour.Trouble is, it’s Saffie who believes my lies, and I convince her I’m on their side.In front of me, they hurt her, I’m powerless to stop them. And now it’s me that’s going to die. I vow, if I have to, I’ll return from the dead with the Devil by my side if that’s what it takes to avenge her.SaffieCaught back in the trap I thought I’d escaped from, I don’t see how there’s any hope for me now, especially when the one man I trusted turns out to be a liar. Now he's betrayed me, I hate Niran with everything that I am.I should have realised members of MCs share a bond, pacts make between clubs trumping all other loyalties.I need someone to be on my side, or else I’m going to die.Bikers are scum. No one should never trust them. This is the second part of the story. It's dark and not for the faint-hearted or someone easily triggered.
Manda’s life's always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?
There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.
Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.
It was certainly worth waiting for part 2 I just loved it so many things happen and so many people from different chapters all taking part in it. I can't really say too much without spoilers but it really needs to be read
We finally get part 2 and find out what happens after the nail biting end to part 1! With the wolves literally at the door, can saffie & niran get out alive and in one piece?finding out that people close have betrayed them both. Not saying anymore! Worth the read and edge of the seat moments throughout?
Niran and Saffie are back in the exciting conclusion of Avenging Devils. I have read several of these books by Manda Mellet, and I have to say that I think this two-part book is one of the best ones yet.
Niran has gone after Saffie to hopefully stop her from leaving San Diego. In Saffie’s apartment, they wait for Kid to bring by some food. Only when he arrives, Saffie’s greatest fear comes pushing through the door with him. Duke, her abusive husband and the VP of the Crazy Wolves MC, has found Saffie and plans to bring her back. Niran must think fast, so he can protect her.
Niran convinces Duke that he wants to leave Satan’s Devils and is looking for a club like the Crazy Wolves. So Duke and his club members, take Saffie and Niran back to their clubhouse.
This is only the beginning of the torturous nightmare that Saffie and Niran have to face. Can they survive being at the Crazy Wolves MC? Will Satan’s Devils ride to his aid and stop Duke before he can take Saffie’s life? And what will this mean for Saffie and Niran when the past is behind them?
Avenging Devil Part Two (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego) by Manda Mellett continues from where we left off in part one- so if you haven’t read the first part you really should put this one aside until you have. Trust me, you are going to want to read all the OMG, heart pounding, heart wrenching, edge of your seat details contained in book one, before finding out what happens next, here. Part one ended on an intense cliffhanger that had me yelling at my Kindle and swearing at Manda Mellett (sorry Ms. Mellett)- but thankfully I didn’t have to wait too long to get my hands on part two, and let me tell you, it was worth every minute of the angst I went through at the end of part one. Hands down, one of the best books I’ve read this year! Brilliant!
Avenging Devil Part 2 is the fourth book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series. Since this is part two and it picks up right where part one left off, you really should read the first part to get all of the background on what is happening in this book.
As expected, this book is filled with action, suspense, and danger. We get to see how the rest of Niran and Saffie’s story plays out. We also get a little more insight on Cyn’s character. I absolutely did not like her in the first book and the way things play out in this story, it feels like her story is going to be one in this series. I’ll be interested to see how that whole thing goes.
One of my favorite parts of this story was Swift and Saffie. Power women. Take no crap. Loved it!
Manda’s back with the conclusion to Niran and Saffie’s story, bringing us readers the epically awaited second part of the Avenging Devil duo which picks up exactly where the previous book ended before.
There’s no joking around, we’re flung straight into the action as both Niran, thanks to some quick thinking on his feet, and Saffie are captured and taken back to the Crazy Wolves compound, with Saffie’s ex running his mouth and issuing threats of what lies ahead for Saffie. Things aren’t looking that good for Niran either, the Crazy Wolves are known white supremacists which doesn’t bode well for him, that alongside the fact he’s a patched member from a different motorcycle club, one that Saffie has been under the protection of. In order for Niran to be taken along with Saffie he had to tell a few lies and behave in a certain way, which didn't go down well with Saffie, making her trust him less than ever before which wasn’t much to begin with in the first place.
What follows next is a whole heap of heartstopping action along with a ton of angst making this, along with part one, the best in the series… to date. I loved how we got to hear Grumblers point of view throughout this book, it really helped bring Niran and Saffie’s journey to an epic conclusion.
Manda takes us through so many twists and turns you dont know which way is up.
Saffie finally gets the life she deserves with a better man than she thought possible. Niran has the love of his life and his brothers, with the dubious addition of his sister. Its a better family than either grew up with.
Part 2 really takes you through the wringer but its 1000% worth it.
Love the sdmc Love this series Loved the exciting conclusion All the feels Heartstopping Intense emotional broken love story Niran and Saffie grabbed my heart Whos next
Niran and Saffie are back and they are in more trouble than ever, Saffie has been found by her husband and the minute they broke down the door to her apartment, Niran knows things will get ugly, but when they hurt Saffie and another right in front of his eyes, it takes all his willpower to act as if it is something he enjoys seeing. He lies and plays the part of a biker who is about to turn tail on his MC and look for something more to his taste, despite the colour of his skin and the person he is trying to convince believes him, the only problem is that Saffie believes him too. After this conversation, they are bundled into their transport and taken to the Crazy Wolves MC Clubhouse, but as Niran keeps playing the part and harming Saffie in the process, he feels physically sick but cannot show it on the outside as he knows that keeping up this pretence in the only chance he has to keep them both safe.
As the next day approaches, Niran is being missed at his usual workplace and nobody has seen or heard hide nor hair from them and this isn't in their character at all, so when they realise that something is wrong they start to plan a way to make it right and hope that they are not too late. Meanwhile, Saffie has been locked back in her old room she hoped she would never see again and is again being severely beaten and interrogated about why she terminated the pregnancy, all while not being able to utter a single word, but when she does the answer is not accepted and her future is laid out before her in all its depraved glory. Saffie cannot believe what she is hearing or what it all means in the end, she also realises that her life has been a sham from the beginning and when reality hits, she is both angry and despairing at the same time as she thinks about the torture she is about to start enduring.
As Niran is considering his own future and how it may now be an extremely short one, he makes peace with himself by choosing to protect Saffie in the only way he can and if that includes giving his own life up for her, then he is more than willing to do that and when he is ordered to become Saffie's guard, he isn't going to let the opportunity pass him by. Will Niran be able to keep up with the charade of being someone his complete opposite, or will the cracks start to show and his life be on the chopping block and will Saffie be able to live with the life which has been lain out for her, will she give in or keep fighting back? This is a rollercoaster of emotion as you live through the very trying times with Saffie and Niran as they fight for survival in more ways than one until this second part is concluded.
I have been impatiently waiting for ‘Avenging Devil Part 2’ since finishing part 1 and I was not disappointed by part 2 and the continuing story of Niran and Saffie. The book starts off where the first instalment ended so you really do need to read part one first as this is the conclusion of the story. I am a fan of the authors and of the Satan’s Devils MC series, but I did find this book and the previous one to be much darker than her others and they do include many triggers for some readers. I was gripped from page one and could not put the book down.
This is a real edge of your seat, suspenseful, gritty, drama filled page turner with added romance, MC style. Saffie is back with the Crazy Wolves MC, who she escaped from and things are worse than before for her. Niran is now also captured by them and as they are known white supremacists it does not bode well for him. Niran realises that Saffie’s past is much darker than he had expected and he is prepared to die if it means saving her. Unfortunately to help her he has to lie and become part of the enemy MC, but Saffie ends up believing these lies. Saffie believes Niran has betrayed her and now thinks that all bikers are scum and she can’t see a way out. If they do both survive it will be hard for Niran to convince Saffie that he’s on her side and it will be difficult for Saffie to trust him again.
As usual Manda Mellett brings the characters and the setting to life with her detailed and descriptive narrative which makes the reader feel totally immersed in the world of the Satan’s Devils MC. I loved Saffie and Niran from book one and was completely engaged with these characters again during this book. Due to the wonderful writing I really felt for Saffie after all she has been through and I could also feel Niran’s angst at having to watch Saffie get hurt and be unable to intervene. This novel took me on an exciting, emotional rollercoaster of a ride which had me hooked from page one and I definitely recommend reading ‘Avenging Devil’ Part 1 and 2.
Avenging Devil Part 2 (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #4) by Manda Mellett
5 ++++ stars
WOW, this was the most intense story told over two books that I've read in a long time. It was suspenseful, hard to read at times, sad, fun, loving, surprising, action packed and all out awesome! I love every book in every series of the Satan’s Devils, but these last two were different in a way that had so much going on and I was fully invested in every aspect. From the clubs coming together, from never being sure about UTAH and now LOVING them, the strong family aspect which for me was strengthened in this story and absolutely not being able to put the books down. It's still hard to call any of them my favorites because every word of every book of every series is part of one of the best MC stories ever! This one had me closing my eyes and trying to unread some of what was happening because it was that intense. I love that this author isn't afraid to show the intensity of what is happening in the scenes even if they are hard to read. I can not find a way to sum up this story, I just finished it so my thoughts are everywhere and Niran and Saffie? They will forever be one of my favorite couples ever. I truly already want to go back and read these 2 books again. I can not recommend high enough that the Satan’s Devils stories that started way way back in Turning Wheels which introduced us to the Mother Chapter be read in order. There are so many reasons for this. These last 2 books which are part of the San Diego chapter made me literally fall in love with another chapter that I had been struggling with from its own series. These characters overlap, popping up in just about every book even if only mentioned. It's a lot, and this author somehow someway keeps it all straight and in turn helps the reader keep it all straight. It's amazing!
I will read every one of these someday, somehow back to back all over again!
What happens when the person you are running from finally catches up with you, terror that's what happens.
Saffie had left in the first book but this picks up right at the end and with all his might Narin finds her but there is a consequence that both are not prepared for.
While hiding out in pops the person which Saffie has been running from and that the Satan's devils have been protecting Saffie from her abusive husband who just happens to be the VP of a rival gang. Can Narin persuade them he is really looking for a MC to be a part of and can he protect Saffie from the horrendous things her husband is mouthing off about.
You will have to read to find out.
This book was just as thrilling as the first part, the story is well written and will have you turning the pages to find out what the author has install for these brilliant characters. I love the character of Saffie she is so strong but is not afraid to ask for help with trying to escape from her husband and the MC.
Narin has also some demons to overcome especially when he is trying to convivence Crazy Wolf MC that he wants to be part of them knowing that they white supremist and can he tolerate them long enough to help Saffie, that was the brilliant writing.
The secondary characters also enhanced the story and I can see a few characters who I love to read there stories further on within the series. I loved every word and it had me yet again at the edge of my seat. Thank you and can't wait to read the next instalment in this series.
Wow. I was waiting on the edge of my seat for this book and I wasn't disappointed. I have loved all of the Satan Devil books but this one was out of this world and a great conclusion. This is a book full of suspense and danger. The emotion between all the characters are real that you feel every one. From the despair and hate, to worry and fear.
We start off where we finish the first book with Saffie and Niran in danger as the Crazy Wolves get closer. Saffie has been through a lot escaping her abusive husband and losing her child. Niran and the Devils are trying to help her move on however that all stops when the Crazy Wolves catch up to them. They kidnap Saffie back to her life as a slave to her husband. Niran knows that to stand any chance of saving Saffie he needs to stay alive so he acts as if he wants to become a member of the Crazy Wolves. However there are things in his way. Mainly his skin colour.
When the Satan Devils realise Niran and Saffie are missing it doesn't take them long to figure out what has happened. Now with the help of the brother chapters they go to war to rescue Niran and Saffie and take down the Crazy Wolves once and for all.
Can the Satan's succeed in their mission?can Niran stay alive while being part of the Crazy Wolves? Will the relationship between Niran and Saffie be able to be repaired or will Niran's deception even to save them both cause Saffie more pain and make her unable to trust him?
Avenging Devil Part 2 Satan's Devils MC San Diego By Manda Mellett ☆☆☆☆☆ This is the 4th book in this series. Well the San Diego MC that is. I have to warn you readers. This book is not for those under 18, or those who fear the MCs. I have found that I enjoy a good full length novel that promises more to come.
Saffie, after 5 years of beatings and torture from the man that loved her. She finally escapes. While taking over her life and getting back on her feet, there is still her husband who is after her. He won't stop, she knows that. But that does not stop her from caring for herself. She keeps her head down and works. Niran is part of an MC, on a trip to the Dr's with Mary they come to meet Saffie. All become instant friends. Biggest problem with Niran and Mary is they belong to an MC. Something Saffie fears and hates all at the same time.
Manda Mellett has done it again. She has written this amazing sequel to her Satan's Devils. This story will bring you back to where Part 1 stopped. As usual Manda Mellett puts you on track on page one, and you never put it down. I can honestly say there is no safe place to stop. The emotional rollercoaster just keeps going. I have said it before and I have to admit this is my favorite book. You can bet I will be reading more from this author, so please keep them coming. Well Done Manda Mellett! Well Done!
This is Part 2 of Avenging Devil, a story from the San Diego Chapter of Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC series. It pretty much goes without saying, but you’re definitely going to want to read Part 1 first so go do that now and then come back to this book! Part 1 left me on such a cliff-hanger, I couldn’t WAIT to get started on Part 2. I couldn’t see how Niran and Saffie could possibly survive the situation they were in. And this book didn’t disappoint, resolving some things but then throwing curveballs and keeping the tension and the drama coming throughout. My favourite thing about this book is that the magnitude of the situation meant that all the Satan’s Devils chapters got involved. It’s great when so many of my favourite characters come together and interact with each other! I particularly enjoyed catching up with Swift, Cowboy and the rest of the Utah chapter. This is a dark and at times difficult book to read. Like Part 1, it addresses many sensitive and at times scary issues including racism, rape, PTSD and complications in pregnancy. The warmth and camaraderie of the Satan’s Devils helps to balance the darkness and provide a safe space for both the characters and readers to recover. For me, this is a five-star read. I’ve been thinking about the story constantly since I read Part 1, and found the conclusion very satisfying without being too predictable.
Avenging Devil Part 2: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellet starts off where Avenging Devil Part 1: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego left off. Part one left us on a cliff-hanger wondering what was going to become of Saffie and Niran.
Saffie’s past has caught up with her and Niran is embroiled in it. To save Saffie from her husband, Duke, Niran says that he was the one responsible for aiding in Saffie’s capture by her abusive ex, Duke. Saffie is devastated by this news and believes that the one person she felt that she could trust, Niran, has betrayed her trust and lied to her all along. She loathes Niran for betraying her and feels that no biker can be trusted. Niran vows to keep Saffie safe at all costs and avenge her, but to do so Saffie must believe his lies.
Avenging Devil Part 2 was an intense, emotional ride and not one for the faint hearted or for anyone easily triggered. It left me riveted as I wondered what would become of both Saffie and Niran. My heart ached for Saffie, and I felt anguish over the abuse she suffered by her husband, Duke, and his club members. Manda Mellet does a fantastic job of describing the characters and drawing the reader into each scene, making the reader feel as though they are there. I anxiously kept turning the pages to see what would become of both Saffie and Niran. I highly recommend this book!
I have been waiting for part 2 to come out...and it did not disappoint!!
First...if you haven't read part 1...start there! Part 2 picks up right where part 1 left off...and it never slows down! The cliffhanger from part 1 has Niran in a tight spot...and some quick thinking has him forming a plan. However, Saffie not knowing the plan throws a whole other wrench in the works because now she believes she has been betrayed yet again.
Once they are both at the Wolf compound, they are both fighting for their lives. But, the Satan's Devils never leave one of their own behind. However, even then they are not out of the woods. There is so much action and drama that will keep you on your toes until the end.
Watching the San Diego and Utah chapters work together was a fun crossover from the other books that I have read. I am still not too sure about Cyn...but I'm sure there will be a future story there. I loved Saffie's bravery and strength...and watching Niran come to terms with, and accept, that was a beautiful thing. I loved these two characters from the last book and they are probably some of my favorites in the entire series.
I can't wait to see what Manda Mellett has in store for us next!
WHEWWWWW. First off - let me acknowledge if you are planning on reading this book - there are numerous situations that could end up as a trigger for some peoples. With that in mind - the book is still phenomenal. This second book to Avenging Devil is amazing. To start off - we get a third prospective thrown into the mix instead of just 2! And I loved it. Saffie’s character evolution throughout this second book is so much fun to watch her grow and change into the person she wants to be! Watching Niran go through, a terrible situation (which I’ll try not to spoil for you) and then still protect Saffie while doing it. Such a heartbreaking situation to watch unfold. Now - the third perspective we get is Grumblers and his is just the icing on the cake! We get to watch the old and cranky old man soften up for Niran, Saffie, and his old lady Mary. I cannot give this book enough props. And don’t think you’re getting too comfortable- because the MAJOR plot twist that’s thrown into the book had me putting my book down and walking away! I was SHOOK!! & At the end (if you’ve been keeping up with the series like I have!) Niran FINALLY gets a road name! And it suits him so much.
Wow. I am completely wowed by this story. Avenging Devil Part 2 is Book 4 in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series by Manda Mellett. This author has such a way with words and knows exactly how to suck you in from the beginning. This story is the continuation of the third book in the series. Saffie has a seriously ridiculous past. Full of violence and abuse that no woman should ever endure. And for Saffie there just may be no way out. Not if Niran has anything to do with it however. Niran is in the thick of it and Saffie believes the lies that are displayed. Will he ever be able to get her and himself out alive? Will she ever believe the real Niran? Well, I am not going to spoil it for you. I will tell you that you will be on an emotional roller coaster. There are so many ups and downs along with twists and turns. This book is so stinking good, I am so excited for the next book in the series. However, I do recommend at least reading Part 1 before you read this book so you can understand what is taking place. You will not be disappointed with this book or any of the books in this series!
Favorite book in the whole series so far! I absolutely am in love with the story of Niran and Saffie. In the second book, it is really nice to see all of the MC chapters banding together and reconnecting to save one of their own. I am in love with Niran and how he will never give up on Saffie even though at one point I really thought she would never be able to love or trust another biker again. I can’t stand his sister Can and I really hope I don’ have to see anymore of her, I can sympathize with her situation but, she is a liar, selfish, backstabbing and childish. Also in this book we revisit life with Duke and the MC he is a part of and it is really sick that Saffie had to endure what she did and how she was treated. It is very fun and engaging to see that each chapter is from a different point of view, and in this book we get to see Saffie, Niran and Grumbler’s viewpoints. I can’t get enough of this couple, I am sad their story has come to a close, but I am happy with how we got there. I really can’t wait to see what comes next in this series!
Avenging Devil Part 2 (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #4) By Manda Mellett 5 Stars
Thank God this book picked up exactly where part one ended. I was left hanging on the edge of my seat, holding my breath. Part two was amazing! Honestly, this author never disappoints. Every book that I have read gets better and better. This book has action, romance and some serious drama. I flew through a whole range of emotions, one minute I’m happy then sad then angry and so nervous. There were a few heart stopping moments in this story.
Niran tries his best to stay alive to protect Saffie but to do that he needs to lie through his teeth and use his best acting skills even if she ends up hating him. He couldn’t live with himself if she died. Both are put in life threatening situations which will have you losing hope. What Saffie has lived through is an absolute horror. I don’t think I have ever hated a character more than Duke. There are so many twists in this book. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. This is a definite must read, I loved it!
What a great ending! What a great turn of events! This story is Avenging Devil part 2. The conclusion to part 1. I loved the development of the characters, especially Saffie, from the beginning of part 1 to the ending of part 2. I loved that this story includes many characters from the club. Definitely must read in order.
The only thing I have to complain about is the middle seemed to slow down a little bit, drag just a little...just seemed like boring day to day life while waiting for the conclusion. Although now that I think about the twists that Mellett threw in there, I think the slow part may have been part of her plan to lull us into a safe zone and then BAM! An amazing twist and climax to make you sit up and think what the … just happened!?! And the way Saffie happens her own club business...Just ah!!
This story is twisted and is not for the faint of heart. There are warnings in the blurb as well. Read with caution but get ready for a ride!
OMG, how can I only give it 5 stars! If I could give it more I definitely would! When I read part 1 and was left hanging with that torturous cliff hanger waiting for part two, I have to admit I cursed Ms Mellett out for being a teasing little Mynx! LOL... I never thought I would survive the wait but oh WOW it was so worth it!!!! I was on the edge of my seat with every sentence waiting to see what was next.
Part 2 continues the action packed, emotional rollercoaster that is Niran and Saffies story. Taken by the Crazy Wolves they must do whatever it takes to survive. They know that true peace is only going to come once Duke is taken down for good.
I had mixed feelings the whole time I was reading this fantastic book because I wanted to rush forward to find out what was going to happen with these wonderful characters, The Satans Devils, who I now love so much and also not wanting the book to end...Bring on more Satans Devils I say!!
Avenging Devil Part 2: Satan's Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellett
This isn't the first book by Mellett but it is my first part 2 by her. This is Part 2 of Avenging Devil. You will need to read the first part.
Niran is trying to protect Saffie, but things don't end so well. Duke finds them and catches Niran off guard. Now Niran has to get them both off the hook. The quote I chose for Niran is: “Your ol’ lady ran away. F***in’ obvious you’d want her back. Heard her f***in’ sob story, and knew the Crazy Wolves were a club to whom I could relate. I kinda hoped you’d return a favour for a favour.”
Saffie is sick to her stomach listening to Niran talk to Duke. The only hope she has is that he's trying to keep her from dying. When she wakes up she finds that the compound dogs are with her. The quote I chose for Saffie is: “Grumbler, they’ve got Niran.”
Avenging Devil Part 2: Satan's Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellett
5 out of 5 stars
Ms. Mellett out did herself with Avenging Devil part 2 I simply loved it so much that I read this book I one day. I was upset with the way Ms. Mellett left us with a big cliff hanger but it was so worth it. The characters are written amazingly. They are strong minded and the way these characters play off each other are great and their quirks make them feel real.
I have loved reading the different chapters and how they come together as a family then to see all these different chapters come together as one was awesome. This is the conclusion of Niran and Saffie’s story.
Can Niran talk himself into the Crazy wolves? What do the crazy wolves have planned for Niran? Can the Satan Devils save their brother and old lady before it’s too late?
You will need to read this book but make sure you read part 1 in Avenging Devil…
Avenging Devil Part 2: Satan’s Devil MC San Diego by Manda Mellett is more amazing than part 1! Part 1 left us with a cliffhanger but part 2? Oh my goodness.
Before we get started, I want to caution you that there are moments that can be a trigger for some.
Niran is willing to do anything to keep Saffie safe. Saffie has other “friends” that she connected with when living with the Wolves who end up helping her. And I love and are so excited for Niran & Saffie’s story and how they come together even after what seems to be a betrayal.
Part 2 shows us what the Satan’s Devils MC can do when the chapters come together to help a brother. There’s a connection between them all and the way the members welcome in those from other chapters that need help is amazing. A true family who cares for others even when they lead separate lives. Thank you Ms. Mellett for such an emotional but wonderful look into Saffie & Niran’s story!
I loved this book. This is the second part of this book which I highly suggest you read book one before to help your enhancement of this book. This is an author I never hesitate to pick up. I have read almost every single book by her and have loved them all. I enjoyed being pulled into this story by the characters. They gave the story a realistic feel as well as being connectable. This author’s writing skills and her attention to details make her stories fun and entertaining to read. This one is no different. This is a dark story that may have some triggers for some but if you can get past the triggers you will find an awesome story. The characters are full of emotions and who don’t love MC clubs. This is a must read story and series. I highly recommend this book and this author.
Avenging Devil Part 2: Satan's Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellett. Ah Manda, Manda, Manda, girl you hit it each and every time. I always feel like I am repeating myself because everything I have said before holds true with each and every book. Yes, she is one of the best MC writers I have ever come across. Yes, she knows how to weave her tales drawing the reader in to her worlds with her wonderful narrative. Yes, she writes a fun ride filled with action and suspense. Yes, her characters are hot, alpha and protectors of those they love. Swoon!
Whelp, this second part of the story was just as intense as the first part. Thank God I didn’t have to wait long for it to come out. Just when you think that Manda has written everything MC to death, she continually surprises me and comes up with something that you do not expect and cannot help but get lost in. No spoilers from me. Nope.
This is a perfect conclusion to this book. We definitely see changes in a lot of these characters. They all have quite a lot of ups and downs until they settle. One of my fav things about this book is all of the members of the Devils we get to see. The Utah boys are heavily involved in the recovery process and we get to see more of Swift and all the confidence that Road has in her.
I am not sure what the author has in store for Cyn in the future but she was one of my most disliked characters that she has written in a while. From the first step into the book I just didnt care for her and there has been no change in that front.
Overall its hard to review but give no secrets away. This is a good story. I was shocked and surprised more than once in here. Its a suspenseful drama with characters I have grown to love.
