She's everything he ever wanted in a mate. But this is the worst possible time...

Timcur has devoted his life to duty, honor and the war against the Suhlik.

Now that he and his crew have been framed as outlaws, his world has fallen down around him.

Brilliant, beautiful Nora is more than he'd ever dreamed of. But with every hand turned against them, how can he keep her safe?

And why does it feel like she has secrets of her own?

She can't be matched to a criminal, can she?

Nora only wanted to keep her family safe.

The deal was simple. She'd agree to the match, long enough for the crew of the Golden Meridian to be captured, and her family would be taken care of for life.

But the longer she spends with Timcur, the less certain she is about the situation.

She's trained as a reporter. She knows to ask questions. These just weren't the questions she ever expected.

Why does her heart insist on seeing Timcur as a hero, instead of a villian?

Why does the thought of his capture make her sick to her stomach?

And how can the touch of his hand do things to her body she's never dreamed of?

Timcur is the third book of the Warriors of the Golden Meridian, a stand alone series in the Warlord Brides universe. There's no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA for each couple!

Written in first person by AVA YORK & STARR HUNTRESS, Timcur (Timkur?) is book 3 of the Warriors of the Golden Meridian series and switches perspectives between Timcur and Nora. Based in a time where aliens are known to humans, and there is a lottery that selects females for compatibility testing to the Mahdfel warriors in exchange for protection against the enemy Suhlik.

24-year-old Nora Chambers was a political science student, with a heavy interest in politics. Her lifelong goal was to find women an alternative to the lottery. Her name was drawn for the Mahdfel lottery, and because she was a mate of the notorious outlawed Captain of the heavily wanted crew of the Golden Maridian, she was approached by Colonel Birtch, who wanted her to spy undercover in attempt to capture the allusive team. Her father had suffered a heart attack and the $4 million fee he offered her to spy was too tempting to pass up. She agreed before being transported directly to a Mahdfel ship, whose crew was amidst clearing their names.

Timcur was the red-skinned Captain of The Golden Meridian (aka Goldie). Their orders were to stop and capture Zarklac, the leader of a Suhlik terrorist cell, before being framed as outlaws. They remained on the run to clear their name.

In prior books, HQ tasked The Golden Meridian with tracking down a Suhlik terrorist named Zarklac. They followed him to a secret base. He got away, but they found a trove of data detailing his research on targets and plans developed to attack those targets. They found a hacker who could help decode the data and sent the decoded files to HQ, but Zarklac included a virus, which corrupted the information, which made it look like the crew of Goldie were the perpetrators. As a result, they had been declared terrorists. In this book, the crew stopped by Diana's arrow where they had a heroes welcome after saving several lives, then traveled back to Tehglaish to seek out the Buravian hacker Lorka, where they discovered that Zarklac's next target was The Bouhek Intergalactic Games Center. They traveled to the games, escaped near death drama that, even for an alien novel, was overboardly outlandish to keep my attention. Nora used her skills to gather intel, and eventually helped the crew connect with media to try and clear their name.

The part Vaznik, part Mahdfel warriors have mating tattoos that glow white when they come in physical contact with their one true mate. The couples first physical interaction was a kiss at the 51% mark. First sexual encounter was around 56%, where Timcur performed oral sex and finger-fucked her to orgasm before falling asleep. That was it. The selfishness was eye-rollingly anticlimactic. The only intercourse took place at the 88% point, and, to be honest, I didn't really read it. I skimmed past the raunch because I was already bored with the entire story line by that point. So much so, that I had put the book down before reaching the steamy part, and didn't pick it back up for months.

There was a point where Nora came clean about being hired to spy on the crew. And honestly, I thought Timcur took the news way too hard. He had unnecessary trust issues after that, which made zero sense. She came clean after discovering they weren't a bunch of murdering terrorists... What more do you want? Jesus.

This book was much longer than necessary. The adventure to romance ratio was unbalanced and left wanting. I really thought that I could wash my hands of the Mahdfel after the last series, but I was wrong. Obviously, I'm a glutton for punishment. I'm to a point in this series where I'm only pushing myself to read the final book so that I can move on and never look back. God, I'm so bored with this storyline...

What a delightful switch where the team was in the hotseat instead of the new arrival. I loved how Nora’s story began and how quickly she turned around once she was faced with Timcur and his crew and the effects of the mate bond. Nora showed her strength and her intelligence throughout. Timcur was the strong captain whose vulnerability showed when he thought of the pitfalls that could happen to those he cared for, only to be pushed aside when his team and his mate were in trouble. I also loved the feeling of confusion the author portrayed during the games when everything went awry. I actually felt like I was there amidst the chaos.
I received a free copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Timcur #3 04/04/2022

Timcur is the captain of the Golden Meridian, him and his crew have been framed as terrorist. Now on the run to stop the enemy from hurting more they have come back to Diana’s Arrow to get more information. But on arriving they are stoked to find everyone on the star ferry want to thank them for saving them. After the party the next day while getting ready to leave the teleporter starts to hum again and all the crew thinks they know what’s happening. A mate is coming they soon find out it’s Nora and she’s for the captain. But they don’t know she also to spy on them and help capture them. But soon she fines out they are innocent and she has to help clear them. So enjoy another good book and see how these two fine away together!!

Will the captain find love or betrayal?

Nora is matched with one of the Mahdfel terrorists. She is sent in by the authorities to help track them down and record information to prove their guilt.
Captain Timcur is in the midst of trying to prove the innocence of the Golden Meridian crew when his mate appears.
Can Nora actually betray herate and his crew? Or will she discover the truth? What happens when the Suhlik attack another target full of innocent people? Will the Goldie crew be the scapegoat again?
Only one more crew member left. I'm not ready to say goodbye to this crew yet. So please make it a lo-o-on-ng story.

Timcur is the captain of The Golden Meridian ship. Nora is a student that just found out her father has suffered a heart attack and the medical bills will be adding up. She enrolls in the Mahdfel lottery for mates so her family will get one million dollars, however, she makes a deal for four million. This story is so super fun and adventurous. There is love, discovery and more loving with all the engaging characters. This is one great series and I can’t wait to read Storgin and Tyra’s story. I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.

Fun on the run

These Vaznik warriors are very busy. They need to capture a Suhlik terrorist, clear themselves of the false accusation of terrorism that has them running from their own chain of command, and Timcur the captain has to deal with the beautiful new human mate he’s just met - the one who is spying on them! It’s sizzling hot romance, wild undercover shenanigans in public sports venues, secret hacktivist sessions, lots of WHAM and BAM and loads of laughs. Most fun trad of the series.

Trust or Bust

I thought this was hilarious. There is always a lot of humor when the crew of the Golden Meridian have an adventure. This time Captain Timcur is surprised with his DNA match just as the crew is trying to clear their names. She has a hidden agenda and Timcur is clueless and overwhelmed. But Nora is no airhead, she knows the crew are innocent, they just need to prove it. But first she has to confess...Great characters and world building with an atypical plot. I really enjoyed it.

It draws you in right from the start. The attraction between the two main characters is instant, but a dark secret keeps them apart. Keep Kleenex nearby because there is no way you can read this, and not cry. As for excitement and danger, there’s also plenty of heart pounding moments. Definitely a must read.

Fantastic

Love the creativity of the author, the description of the aliens, the mystery and suspense of trying to clear their names by capturing their arch enemy. But along the way they each meet their mates who are just adventurous as they are. Great Read looking forward to the last book in the series. Kudos to the author 👏👏👏👏

Renegades or Covert Operatives?

How will the close knit crew on the Golden Meridian convince the authorities that they have been framed by their enemy the Suhlik? Captain Timcur is thrilled to meet his mate Nora. But is she an innocent stranger caught in this mess? Will her skills help or hinder their efforts to clear their names? Enjoy!

intense

It was strange to find a big tough guy all wigged out and tense this time. And I am soooo glad that she got her head out and figured that the crew was not the bad guys or I would have reached through the pages and slapped her myself lol

The Captain gets his fated mate, but she is a spy for the government, there to dig dirt on the crew.

There's nothing to be ashamed of, the crew is still honest and fighting the lizards who are causing trouble and blowing stations up. But proving that is not going to be easy.

Timcur Alien Captain

Nora's character is compassionate and very clever and she gets matched to an outlaw. The rogue shipmates are still going after the bad guy despite their high bounty and Nora is in it up to her eyeballs.

Nora and Timcur

This is a very good, well written, Alien/Human romance. The characters are interesting and well developed. This is the third of four in the Warriors of the Golden Meridian series. Each could be read alone but better when read in order. Read and enjoy.

Really, Really Good

Timcur is an action packed, sci-fi romance with lots of heat, love, and adventure. There are several chuckles as well and you can’t help but love the “cats”.
