It is June in Ohio and Mae Monahan’s Tipperary Carriage Company is busy with clients who have booked horse-drawn carriages for their weddings. Mae always thought driving for weddings would be fun and happy occasions, but she and her horses have run into some strange situations including a wedding in a cemetery, some difficult brides and bridesmaids, and a double wedding that might turn into a double calamity. Will Mae and her friend Ross be able to handle some serious issues or will someone end up hurt or worse?

Jealousy, Bridezillas, and Wedding Carriage Rides!
by Barbara Kelley
This episode is about a bridezilla, a jealous woman, a drunk bride that giggles and cries on the way to her wedding (never give a nervous bride a tranquilizer and/or a glass of wine), a cat fight in a pile of horse manure, a kidnapping, four really beautiful horses (Steel, Copper, Goldie, and Star), 4 beautiful carriages (2 white Landaus, 1 black Landau, and 1 Fairytale coach), Mae Monahan and Ross Goodnight who are the coach drivers, and a slew of bridesmaids and wedding and party guests taking tons of pictures of all horses and each carriage. What else can I say, except that J. A. Whiting and Nell McCarthy have written another great episode in the Tipperary Carriage Company series. I gave this episode 5 stars, but it deserves more because the authors bring each character to life, even the horses' personalities. I can hardly wait for the next story in this series.
This wasn't quite the usual type of mystery for Mae and Ross, but it was still interesting to see what would eventually happen with the queen of bridezillas aka Leslie. The mystery came more toward the end, but it was the right place for it in this case. I'm sure Mae's gonna think twice about taking on a wedding let alone a double one!
I always love to read about Mae's passion for her horses and Ross just being himself. The coolest scene was when he convinced someone he needed to wear his Stetson. I was going, "Go, Ross! Well played!" A funny scene had to do with dueling brides and something a horse left behind, lol. Mae must have the best control when it comes to wanting to laugh!
I'll be looking forward to borrowing the next in series on KU when it's out.
Mae has a wedding where one person gave the bride a tranquilizer and another gave her a glass of wine. They pulled the wedding off even though the bride was a little woozy. The maid of honor hires Mae for her wedding at the end of June. A lot goes wrong at the bridal shower the rehearsal dinner and more. Good book and characters.
Mae and Ross are working to keep up with all the June weddings they have booked. After a disastrous wedding, Mae gets booked to do a double wedding. This wedding soon turns to double trouble as one bride keeps trying to one up and out shine the other bride.
If you love cozies with characters you will love and a story that keeps you turning the page then this one by J. A. Whiting, Nell McCarthy is a must read. I can't wait for the next book.
Love the Tipperary Carriage books. Well written and once started, hate to put them down. I feel like I'm sitting up there in the box with Mae or Ross. I have enjoyed the Sweet Cove mysteries and Hope books immensely. Can't wait for the next book to be released.
My goodness the lengths one deranged bride goes to go prevent a groom she wants marrying her 'day's friend at their double wedding. An unusual plot and dramatic finale fo!lowed by a peaceful wedding for Rosemary and Victor
J A Whiting and Nell McCarthy always deliver a great story. Weddings are usually such beautiful events, but, the Tipperary Carriage Company seem to be having a streak of bad luck! Great story.
This is a well written and developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
